Enter this amazing park for an array of terrific games with multiple levels. Pixar characters are helpful guides and give encouragement at many a turn in the game, demonstrating peer social skills to overcome shyness. You get a great workout. Awesome graphics and interaction. Total family fun. Definitely recommend. Fred Meyer sells for ~$29.99, GameStop ~$49.99.

My boys and their friends love this game..being able to interact with so many of their Disney Pixar "friends". If I have any negative feedback at all, it would be that while you have the ability to choose from multiple game areas, based on the various movies represented, the games themselves are kind of redundant. The skills and challenges one experiences in one are are largely the same as those in other areas so the games themselves are kind of repetitive. The kids still love them, but I find that they are able to too easily defeat the individual challenges making the game one that may not long hold their attention.

That's right gamers, we have reached the future of gaming where the long awaited dream of not needing the use of a controller is finally here!! With the kinect device, players are now require to rely on body movements to interact and play games. Very simple and easy setup, sensor detects players motion accurately, and best of all, your butt is now off the couch and the body is always moving. This gives a completely new and exciting experience for those that had been accustom to the handheld controllers. The kinect truly shines when played with friends and family. Witnessing hilarious poses, body parts in awkward places, players just going all out trying to out do the opponent is all just great times and a lot more fun and enjoyable than just a controller between two hands.Finally conclusion, if you are done with the days of handling a controller, look no further, you've found it at an affordable price and a great bundle. You will not regret this purchase and welcome to the new world of gaming.One major improvement I'd like to see is the distance it requires from the player to the sensor. Not everyone has enough space to meet the sensors standards, maybe give the user the option to adjust the length or distance detection.

Love the Kinect! My cousin got one when they first came out and once my 80 yr old grandpa became the bowling champ of the family, I knew I needed to get one.I got a great deal on black Friday for this set, so I'd suggest buying that time of year if you're on abudget!Adventures comes standard with new Kinects, but Fruit Ninja and Gunstringer are so much fun too.Gunstringer is a little on the cheesy side with how the story line developes through out the game, but the gameplay is great. Fruit Ninja is the favorite in my house, we play it all the time and specially when we have company!Only down side is the cleared space that is needed to play, a lot of times I'll end up kicking the couch. If you don't have a big living room space, I'd suggest rearranging your furniture to give yourself at least 8 ft of space from your sensor, you'll get your best playing results in that area. More players also require more space, so keep that in mind too.Overall, once you figure out spacing, this is a great accesory for xbox consoles. Even my cats love it! The games are fun and provide a decent amount of exercise. I highly recommend this set!

My son is eight years old and a Pixar fanatic. He watches the movies daily. He has a few Autism Spectrum Disorder issues and fixates on things pretty hard. Currently, that is Pixar and most of the movies. He has played Toy Story 3 on the PS3 and PSP to the point where he deletes the game each day so he can do it again, so finding a new title for him that incorporates movement was something I was hoping he'd enjoy.I showed this too him, and after some initial coaching he's taken to this like a fish in water. I haven't personally had time to interact with the game much but between himself and his older sister (10) they have been having a blast with it.This is a great game for any fan of the PIxar series. They sure love it.

Kinect has been a great for the whole family. Bought it for the same price as the black friday store offerings and I didn't have to wait in line (I love Amazon)!The three of us (wife, 5 yr old, and myself) play this and it has something to offer each of us. The wife and I can get stupid in private with the dancing game (Dance Central). Playing Kinect Adventures (which comes with it) and Kinect Disneyland has been a blast with my son, and his onlooking little sister. Looking forward to the Star Wars game.I will say if it was just me, I probably would NOT have as much fun by myself. We had a Wii but it was primary for myself and the first party titles. I think the average hard core gamer could figure out though if this is something they would want, and personally I would pass (for now).From what I have read I would recommend mounting over the TV if you can. It says the range goes to 6ft high. Mine is approx at 7ft but we have had no issues using the Pdp clip. The camera auto adjusts and can recognize my 5 yr old and myself (6') at the same time. I hear lower mounting depending on how much space you have can be sketchy.

My Xbox 360 is at least four years old, therefore I was anticipating some possible compatibility issues with this component. However, my fears were unfounded and the installation was simple plug-and-play and I had it installed up and running and playing a new game within 10 min.the setup is simple and uses the ambient noise levels in your room and your distance from the set to calibrate the sensor bar.The adventures game is an easy introduction to this new technology and also includes snapped photos of the player to include in your profile if they wish. It reminded me of those roller coasters or log flume photos that are snapped at amusement parks.Kudos also for Amazons overnight shipping at only 3.99 is included with my prime account I rarely use this as an option.With a snowy weekend on the way I ordered this at 10 AM Friday morning and had it in my hands by 1 PM the next day. Overall that's still $50 savings over the best price of my local electronics store!

I purchased this product for my son and he absolutely loved it. The box comes with one regular game with CD Kinect Adventures and 2 games that you need to download (Full Game Downloads) - The Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja Kinect. It also comes with a USB extension cable in case you need it. You need an adequate space for playing recommended 6 feet from the sensor.Kinect makes you the controller of the game. The magic of full body gaming comes alive. Even control an HD movie with a wave of your hand or the sound of your voice (voice feature in English language ONLY).Great product not only for kids but also for adults who wants to shake that hip or move that feet for a work out.Giving it a 5 Stars!

Hi, I have read the reviews and just wanted to give a feedback on my own experience as I'm not a developer and I use this device daily to give presentations. The Kinect for Windows doesn't come with a software but some companies have already released some professional software for it. I'm using So touch Air Presenter with my Kinect for Windows and I do my commercial presentations with it everyday. My customers are wowed each time I change slide, I love it :) I'm a commercial so it might be specific to my job but I can really see this devices along with similar software be used in class-rooms or for training purposes. I'm sure we will very soon see some Kinect app store with hundreds, thousands, millions of app for it. I agree with Robot Guy and James about the potential, welcome to the future!

When the Kinect was first being advertised, I was very skeptical about it. I felt it was a "Johnny Come Lately" attempt by Microsoft to cash in on Nintendo's success with the Wii. When the Kinect dropped to $99.00, I figured what do I have to lose. In my opinion, I enjoy gaming on the Kinect more so than on the Wii. The gaming experience is natural, and in most cases, very intuitive.I've had it for about two months, and bought a handful of games for it, which include Dance Central 1 & 2, Gunstringer, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Fighters Uncaged.I've had a lot of fun with the games. The body recognition isn't perfect, but it's pretty good.One unexpected perk is that my wife has started playing video games thanks to the Kinect. Before, she played a couple of Wii games with me, but never was too interested in it. The Kinect has turned her into a casual gamer.My only complaint is the relative lack of games for the system. So far, most of the games released have been pretty good.

I havent really found a game besides the sports season 2 that i enjoy for the kinect. In my opinion the sensor needs better adjusting because it takes forever for it to recognize my hand even with me being at the correct distance from sensor. When playing tennis the graphics are a bit cheesy. My Avatar reaches to return the ball and even if my timings off slightly sometimes the avatar still gets the hit and it clearly looks like a miss on screen but hits anyway.Gunstringer was out of tuen in my opinion also because when i went to draw or get out of cover i couldnt. It took at least 2-3 times to get the reaction i intended.

I purchased this product for a Christmas present on Black Friday. I got the Sensor w games for 1/2 price. This is a big hit with my daughter, husband and 4 year old son. They play some version every night as a family activity. They already had the Xbox. They had the Kinect up and going the day they received the gift. So easy to install plus they really enjoy the Sports version. My grandson never tires of the sports and wears me out plus beats me regularly. Now I am waiting for a good deal on Mario Cart to use with my wii when my grandson is here. I think that the Kinect is a bit difficult to select using a waving hand, but my grandson has gotten so good at it, it is not a problem. Even though he can not read, he knows how to interpret the messages. i.e. move back, lean left and so on. It was the best gift of the holiday.

We bought this kinect and game bundle with the x-box 360 4G as xmas gifts for the kids. One game is on a disk, the rest of the games you have to download after you join xbox live. The issue is that the games are larger than the memory of xbox. Each game is at least 4g, so your xbox can't hold the other games you've just purchased in the bundle! You can buy an external hard drive to add to your xbox (and the cheapo one won't do, you have to use the fast speed one that's $120). You can opt to buy a flash drive for each game... again a cheap one won't do. To get the correct speed that xbox needs, the cheapest flashdrive you can buy was on sale at Target for $29 today. AND xbox has a size limit on the flashdrive it can read so you can't get a big memory... you have to buy multiple ones for each game! So this isn't really a good deal. You get ONE game with the bundle and you have to pay $29 per flash drive for the other games! RIP OFF. I'm extremely disappointed that this wasn't explained in the description! I'm so annoyed I'm returning it.

I was skeptical on buying a Kinect at first because I thought it might've just been a gimmick. So I waited. I finally broke down and bought just because Xbox finally got Amazon video support for Prime members and I saw that you could use it for voice control. I feel like I am living Star Trek by just speaking it and it makes it happen. I cannot wait to try it on video games, but for Xbox control it works as I suspected it would. It is pretty cool to see it react to what I tell it.

This is THE Kinect game we've been looking for: A frustration-free & fun Kinect game! The Kinect motion, menus, and games perform so smoothly and accurately. My 2 year old can start the game without our intervention and can play alone if he wants. We love the variety of the games and the guided part of the beginner's level. This game is so much fun for the entire family! Whomever developed this gamed nailed it and should be put in charge of developing all Kinect games moving forward.

Others have discussed, explained and described the Kinect in length.I rate the Kinect 4 stars because it is fun and easy to use. Selection of games are limited though I am hoping more are developed.No controllers, easy set up, and gets the kids moving instead of just sitting on the couch getting thumb-cramp.Fruit Ninja is fun and kids love it.Adventure game is my 9 year old's favorite. He loves to compete against mom and dad.Gunslinger is ok. Not my favorite and I think it is too hard for kids under 10. Takes coordination and stamina in your left arm :-)I love that there are many demo games for it--gives you an idea prior to purchase.Some say they got 'bored' with the Kinect and its game selection. I can see that if you are used to playing action/role playing games.We are anxiously awaiting the release of Kinect Star Wars My sons are finally going to be able to play with lightsabers pretending to be Anakin and NOT be in the kitchen :-)

All in all I like the Kinect sensor. Gunstringer wasn't really my cup of tea, but Kinect Adventure is alright. They could have kept both those games, but Fruit Ninja made up for the both of them. FN will give you a workout and it's fun. My girlfriend isn't into gaming but she definitely didn't want to skip her turn when my friends came over and everyone was trying to get the highest scores on the challenge mode. The second night I had the game we played from 8:30pm to 4:00 in the morning. Yeah, we slept in that next day plus we were all sore and we played again that night. The Kinect Sensor is like having the technology from the movie Minority Report. I recently bought Kinect Sports for the bowling and boxing and that is fun as hell to. Instead of my friends going to the bar they come to my house to drink and clown one another. And if you want a good fitness game for Kinects check out "Your Shape" Fitness Evolved. It's exercise made fun. If you don't believe me check it out on youtube.

Don't buy it unless you are Microsoft developer... The camera came without any drivers or software CD. I've spent hours and hours installing it, searching online for the drivers, contacting Microsoft customer care - noone was able to solve the installation issues... After installing ten different SDK's and other type of software, my (very stable, clean and perfectly working) Windows 7 system has crashed. I had to return the camera to Amazon.This review is about the camera only - Amazon was great - it is not responsible for irresponsible Microsoft...

Before buying this product be aware that they have many errors and problems with this device. I didn't find-out until I tried to get it to work on Christmas day. All I got was error C000009. I googled this error code and only found other people with same problem. No fixes. Even the xbox message board moderators never seen this code and it was not listed in the error code section. Support said I could send it to them to fix ($80 + Shipping). I just went to Best Buy and purchased a new one and shipped back the one from Amazon. To this day there still is no fix. Also, doing research I realized that hundreds of thousands of people are having various issues. I feel like a product with such high failure rate should not be offered. Now if you do get one that works then its a decent game. I am tall so its difficult for me to play with children. However they enjoy it a lot. I still believe that the WII is still a batter option until they make it better. I hope this helps someone.Thank You!

I am so happy with my $99 purchase of the Kinect and the 3 games. I was nervous initially that there would be a problem with it and I would have to send it back and wait for another one but this was not the case. This device is amazing! Who would have thought that coming from the Atari, we would ever see something like this where you are the Avatar and you don't need a controller because your hands and arms are the controller. Since my family opened this gift yesterday, we tried it out and I observed that it brings the family together, it's fun and it's exercise! What more can a mother ask for in a reasonably priced device? I tried it out myself through other games that I purchased through Amazon and it was awesome! My delts are a little sore from boxing yesterday, and dang....when I think about it, I only did this for a short time. (And NO, I'm not in bad shape either!) I recommend this product and I know that it is safe to buy it on-line. Have fun with this, you'll love it!

Got this game without being sure if it was going to be all that great as the other Disney game is difficult for my 3 year old to navigate. However, this one is a winner for our whole family. It really takes you into the Pixar world and hearing the original character voices (or if they are not the real actors, they've done a darn good job coming close) while playing the games makes you feel like you are apart of a whole new story. My son loves Kinect and on a rainy day, this is a fabulous option to stay mobile, active and entertained. I highly recommend this game. Nice job, Pixar!

I first played the Kinect at Comic Con 2011, and I fell in love! I also won an X-Box there, it didn't come with the Kinect, but I knew I was going to have to get one, so I checked on Amazon and bought it!This bundle is pretty cool, you get 3 basic Kinect games. Kinect Adventures is pretty cool and a great way to get used the Kinect and how it works.It also allows you to control the X-Box with your voice! you can pause, play, stop and turn off your system from your couch! Which is great when you're watching streaming like Netflix. You don't have to turn your controller back on just to turn the console off. Maybe a lazy-person selling point, but hey, it works!If you buy the Kinect, I definitely recommend owning this too! Dance Central 2

This came in a timely manner. It gets used constantly by the whole family for endless fun. Needs to be used with an XBox 360 game console.
