Everything worked as described and the shipment was sent on time with no issues. The game and Kinect worked very well and we have enjoyed the games.

Love this game. As a mom, I play the game with a 6 and 3 year old. The characters are ones they can relate to and the level of play varies so that it is fun for me and all my children. I love Pixar and this is another way to experience the fun.

I am not a hardcore gamer that sits in her room and plays Halo or Call of Duty. I am a casual game player with 2 young daughters, ages 6 and 2. I am also not going to write a book for a review. I will make it simple and to the point.I learned about the Kinect last Christmas when my friend got her family one (she traded her entire Wii system for the Kinect sensor and a couple of games). I fell in love instantly, as well as my children. Dance Central and Fruit Ninja were hilariously fun games to play, among some other carnival type games. I do NOT recommend this for hardcore game players, you will find it boring. If you have a family, and want to add some fun or trade the Wii, I suggest getting the Kinect.Perks:- Easy to play (even for a 2 year old)- Great for families and parties- No controller needed.Drawback:- Need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership in order to use it.

Much like the wii after the initial novelty wears off you're left with a piece of hardware with very little software beyond arcade and party games. A lot are intensely fun at first but get boring pretty quick. Aside from exercise and dance games theres really not much on the market either. Whenever they make a great Kinect game I'll buy it, but right now I"m better off buying a good game you play with a regular controller.

I received one of these as a holiday gift last year. In theory they are a really cool idea but in practice not really living up to the hype. I wanted one to be able to use the interactive exercise game titles but you need quite a bit of space to really use it well, the movements are not as "intuitive" as they lead you to believe and I find the fact that it likes to be connected to a wifi connection while taking pictures just downright creepy. Yes you can disable this function but it really doesn't like you to and makes you make the effort to continuously go in and take it out of picture taking mode pretty much every time you play. I'm sorry but I just do not find the prospect of being seen leaping in my sweatpants(or god forbid less) in their promotional literature at some point in the future appealing.

Just received our Kinect, hooked it up and having a blast with the kids!!! Well worth the money! Got it for $99 on Amazon, but it was a horrible experience. That said, I can see us playing this every day for hours! I actually like it better then the wii, cause you don't have to hold anything and you can't cheat like on the wii. It is pretty accurate too. Crazy! I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. You do need a pretty long space to use this. At least 6-8 feet away from the screen. It also depends on where you have the Kinect and how tall or short you are. You can't be to close or it won't read you. That said, if you have the space and the energy, YOU WILL LOVE IT! Get ready to burn some serious calories too! Woooo hoooo!

When my son got this, he was playing hard. It identified him pretty good. He was running, jumping. It was like he was a character. I would highly recommend.

After seeing the two negative reviews i have to come and counter it. PEOPLE BEWARE. This is not a consumer level product yet. It is for programmers and prosumers with programming skills.This has been released by Microsoft so that us the developers can make great products on windows, for the consumers to use. Read the website kinectforwindows this is purely geared towards programmers rite now. Come on folks, dont bash this product. This product is a new beginning in computing, and when you start using computers in a brand new way you will be amazed.

I bought Kinect for Christmas for my 2.5 year old daughter, mostly. And I have to say that it's been mostly fun - the painful moments have to do with signing in, Kinect ID and in general, making Kinect recognize the players. Several games fail miserably because of the difference between being Signed in, and Kinect recognizing the player. Moreover, there are a handful of OK/Cancel dialogs, where only Kinect controls work (controller and remote are not useful) - What the **** with that? Why can't I hit A button to dismiss a stupid dialog. The handwaving gets annoying pretty fast. Overall, when this thing works - it's great. When it doesn't - there are no words to describe the frustration.

I bought this game for my 4 year old grandson. He is playing it as I am typing this review. He just loves it. Grandma and Grandpa have a ball playing it with him also. Gets the old heart a pumping! Great exercise for all of us. I highly recommend it.

The Xbox Kinect is great technology. It is still in it's infancy, and that shows from time to time.We've got a handful of games and demos, and I really enjoy the Kinect. Exercise and workout games are great. The kids can have a lot of fun. It's not always a 100% accurate, but it is a lot of fun.The CONS:Waving to sign-in. This has been the most problematic part of the entire Xbox Kinect experience. I understand "waving" is a cute way to activate the Kinect. But for whatever reason, this is the most problematic part of the experience. I really wish Microsoft would do some further testing with younger kids and offer some alternatives - perhaps a jumping jack instead of a wave.

I got this for $99 and its great the games are fun on it and worth to get if like to have fun dancing add the Dance Centrals and u r set. Only down fall u can't use it as a camera to sent a picture to someone on xbox live so if u want to take a photo u have to buy the xbox live camera.Which it don't understand it take pictures of u on the kinect games good. And the Gunstringer and the Fruit Ninja are codes I tried to peel off the sicker I hate to get the gray stuff on my hands and everywhere else and it ripped off so don't do that lol.Fruit Ninja hard to control and Gunstringer u in a play its ok I love the Kinect Adventures.

The kinect sounded pretty stupid when I thought about buying it but then I bought it and I would never ever get rid of it. One thing I reccomend though. If you have a very small room and plan on putting it in there I would not buy this item. The voice commands and hand selection still work but the games have quite a bit of trouble figuring out where you are. All in all this was a very good item to buy.

Got this package for Christmas. Tried to use the codes to download the two demo games but get an oval box that says "can't download fruit ninja". No error code no further info. Nothing I do makes this work and can't find anything on the net to fix my problem. The Kinect looks like a lot of fun but until I buy a game on a real disk I probably will never know. If they had shipped the games on a diskI would probably love it. I'm told the problem may be that I need to have a xbox live gold subsciption (at $60 a year) to download the "free" demo. THANKS MICRO$$$$OFT! Buyer beware!

My advice, BUY THIS GAME! My son is 4 and he loves all these movies so when I saw the commercial I thought I'd buy it for him. HE LOVES IT! I actually catch myself wanting a turn too! It's really fun! A lot of different things to do.

If you are reading this you should probably just get it. The Kinect is pretty awesome. The Wii brought a new type of gaming into our homes, the Kinect perfected it.This set comes with Kinect adventures, which is fun for kids. Fruit Ninja which is fun for everyone. And Gunstringer which is a fun platformer built to use the Kinect system. Fruit Ninja and Gunstringer are download titles so you'll want to have broadband to get those. I'm not sure if they are playable if your connection is down.

I bought xbox 360 S and this kinect sensor separately. This is the best buy I have ever made. With in minutes of setting up I was sweating. The included Kinect Adventures is fun and beginners like me can use this to get used to kinect controller. Then I can buy some advanced games. The key is how you calibrate the system, and I did not face any issues other users have complained about. I dont play video games at all for the reason that I dont want to be couch potato, but now I bought Kinect since I can be active while playing games. I am enjoying every bit of it and I will recommend Kinect to anyone.

this was a birthday present for my son. He downloaded Fruit Ninja, but when he tried downloading the other game it froze at 2% and it sat for so long he exited out of it. When he tried to do it again, he got a message that the number was already used and he couldn't download that game....we're still trying to figure out what to do...

This was a Christmas gift for our daughter and son-in-law. Turned out to be a big hit with our 2-year-old grandaughter too. I didn't see all the games, but we fired up the Michael Jackson game and it was remarkably realistic. The image was our daughter, to a T! Grandaughter went nuts when she hugged her Mom and saw herself as well. I'll go into more detail in a review of Michael Jackson, don't want to do that here, but in short, the Kinect is a real advance..very different than anything else and a LOT of fun. Amazon had it at a price I had only seen in other Black Friday ads..another big plus!

Remember when the Wii was the "must have item" of the season? Remember when the PS3 released the Move and nobody wanted it because it basically turns your PS3 into a Wii? Well, you don't have to worry about the Kinect losing its value because it is nothing short of amazing! It truly has revolutionized modern day gaming. The sensor is way more responsive than its counterparts and the game library is far more interesting...and they have only begun to tap the well! The Kinect gaming system is a perfect way have the kids burn off excess energy, a great way to keep yourself exercising and physically active, and it is great icebreaker at parties.

What can I say, this was an amazon "Lighting deals" special. The games are so much fun and playing with the kinect sensor is a wonderful experience for everyone.
