I bought this game recently for my son because he is a huge Pixar fan. I bought him the Toy Story 3 game but my son is very active...well more like hyperactive and using a controller for too long bores him. I always compare him to Sonic the Hedgehog, one of his favorite characters because he is full of energy. Anyway, he loves this game because he has to move, A LOT! I use my gamertag and played with him for about an hour and a half and the next day I felt like when you feel powerful and try one of those Tae Bo DVDs. The setup is like a nice park with attractions for the kids to play. The game will scan your body and create a child character based on your likeness. And then you choose where you wanna go and what to play. Your child (and you, if you like)will have hours of fun. It's a great outlet for stored energy because they have to move their arms constantly to move, turn, they have to jump to drive you have to steer,you swim, dive underwater, etc. But you don't do the same thing for too long and you always have a friendly character by your side helping you when you are stuck. My favorite feature is that if you need more friends to help you just clap your hands, My son was excited when Woody came up and said something like "Ok, what seems to be the problem here?" If you have active kids and you are active yourself and want to spend some quality time with your kids, get this game and play together. you'll feel like a kid again and you'll both have lots of fun

This is a great game for young kids. They love the fact that they can create custom characters. The software uses Kinect to capture general features of the person including clothing, ponytails, etc. and creates a good representation. There are 5 or so themed games each of which has 3 or more variations. Users navigate by running around Pixar park and stepping on game disks that launch the individual games. At $20 well worth it.

I've been a developer on a few Kinect games, so I probably shouldn't give this thing such a bad review, but I hate it. First, it never works for me: from the voice commands to the motion controls, it's rubbish. Assuming you can even get it to work for you, it's still, in my opinion, ruining video games and the video game industry. If it was it's own console, or it was an attachment for the Wii, then fine, but as a hardcore gamer, I feel this thing is majorly invading on my turf and I wish it would disappear.I'm all about innovation, but only when it's practical. When I play games, I want to test my mind and motor skills, not my patience.

I must say the Kinect games are getting better this one is great my 4 year old can play this no problems. He is able to start the game navigate the menus and play with no problems. I would recommend to anyone who loves Disney stuff the levels are fun for him and he gets a little exercise too.... This is a mover of a game. One of the better Kinect Titles.

All of this is AFAICT based on working with both the Kinect for Windows sensor and XBox 360 sensor in VS 2010.Other developer comments and corrections are welcome.I feel Microsoft is trying to convince developers that the 'near mode' is somehow qualifying the Kinect for usable input from users at normal laptop or desktop distances in the Windows environment, buts its ability there is very much in question.-The near mode doesn't mean you can get skeleton data at closer distances, just DEPTH data. Depth data without associated skeleton data is of limited usage. For skeleton data your best bet is to turn off near mode and stand 4-5 feet away *exactly like the XBox 360 sensor*.-Keep in mind that near mode is a *separate mode* and a compromise - the 'too far' distance is more limited in near mode :|-It's $100 more than the XBox version for no reason I can discern. Even Microsoft states that the XBox 360 was capable of depth info at these distances in the correct light. The adjustment they made for near mode must have been incredibly trivial.-It doesn't work with the XBox 360, which yes *is* important for developers if you only want to buy one device but also do R&D into production Kinect interfaces of any kind (which I recommend you do before programming with Kinect). Again, I don't know why they did this, except to sell an extra Kinect to developers. Its otherwise identical in every respect and its normal mode works exactly the same way as the XBox 360. Microsoft would have had to deliberately broken XBox support, or *just not really tried at all*.

Please be warned you need lots of room, I mean lots. You really can't expect to be playing Kinect games in your room unless it's huge and by huge close to livingroom sizes. I had to return mine due to not enough room and I refuse to set my xbox 360 in my livingroom. Other then that I give it 5 stars because the product works and is truly amazing.

This game is absolutely perfect for kids (especially the hyper-active kind like mine). There are five different games that keep them from getting bored from one or the other.My only complaint is that it sometimes has trouble detecting the kids. It then scans them requiring them to stand still (an almost impossible task for a 3 year old) before allowing them to continue. This causes some frustration for them at times.Besides that, it is great.

El juego es muy divertido, mi hijo pasa horas jugando, cuando se cansa de un juego pone otro de la pel?culas, aparecen los mu?ecos de la pel?cula, lo m?s importante es que viene hablado en Espa?ol, para mi hijo es muy f?cil seguir las instrucciones del juego.

We love our Kinect, but do find that for younger kids it is a bit frustrating because the sensor is very specific about where you need to stand.

This is a great product. Gets you on your feet and actually gives you a workout. Most games are meant for a younger age group. Sometimes the connect does not track your motions right but it isn't a big issue.

Many fun games, based on various movies, that lead to plenty of in-place jogging/jumping/reaching exercise for players. Characters of the movies make the otherwise repetitive motion less boring.

The Kinect technology is impressive and the potential to use it under Windows and/or Mac OS X is amazing. It need more support from developers but we are very happy so far with the device. I recommend it. And yes, it has more precision than the more cheap XBOX 360 version.

Our whole family loves this game. The boys could play it for hours and what's great is that it gets them on their feet and jumping around. I would highly recommend for family entertainment.

I love the fact that this is both affordable and also provides an excellent SDK and an IDE (Visual Studio). Some folks may be turned off because you have to use Windows, Visual Studio, and either C# or Visual C++, but I find that it's a small compromise to run Windows 7 in a dual-boot configuration on my Macbook Pro laptop in order to utilize the great hardware, SDK, and IDE.

This was a gift for my grandkids. One is 7 and other is 10. They both loved playing it and I loved watching them getting some exercise instead of just sitting on a couch. A lot of fun.
