We recently got a small flatscreen TV for the bedroom, and true to form for small flatscreens, the speakers were horrible. After doing a little research, I decided on these speakers, and am very happy with the choice. They're unobtrusive, they're USB-powered so I didn't have to run more cable to the wall, and their sound is perfectly adequate for this sort of use - they're loud and clear. I can't see how you could beat it for the price.

I'm so disappointed with these speakers. First, they look cheap. Wasted time thinking I was doing something wrong, but it turns out that the speakers didn't work. In case you're wondering, there is no volume control nor a carrying case.Now I have to spend some more time looking for a return slip, printing it out, and shipping these back. Such a hassle.

Great little speakers, decent sound. Only wish they had an earbud jack! Otherwise, these are great for the price. Got these for my work computer and I am extremely happy with the purchase. The usb cable is fairly long too, which is great.

I BOUGHT THE SPEAKERS FOR MY COMPUTER THE SOUND IS TOO LOW. YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITH THESE SPEAKERS. IT'S TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY.

Little speaker, HUGE sound. Amazing. I am thrilled with this purchase. If you are looking for a speaker system for your laptop that isnt annoyingly huge, but puts out BIG sound, then this is the one for you. I bought these because I love to listen to music on my laptop while doing housework, but Ive had a problem with the sound being cranked up high, and my computer freezing. I figured it was the vibration messing with something. These speakers fix that problem, and stylishly too!

Got these to replace Logitech S150 USB Speakers with Digital Sound. Much better. Great, clear sound for compact speakers. Really like the cord storage in back, too. Some static and popping when performing other functions on the PC (downloads, etc), but very satisfied with sound when not multi-tasking. Good value for the price.

I ordered these as a Christmas present for my roommate, and neither of us could be more pleased! I was initially concerned about what the sound would be like, since the speakers are so inexpensive, but these are fantastic! The bass is surprisingly deep for such tiny speakers. They sound better than the speaker/subwoofer combo that my roommate had hooked up to her laptop before, with far less cords getting in the way! All in all, this was a great buy.

I don't rate very often but I purchased these for my laptop and I swear I could have produced better sound placing my headphones inside tin cans underwater. I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile by any stretch but these sounded awful. Design was cute and USB powered is nice but they are speakers and there intended purpose is to properly produce sound. FAIL.

These little speakers pack more of enough of a punch for my desk. I didn't want big bass or room rocking sound... just music to listen to while I work. I get that in these speakers. I was looking for speakers that I didn't need to find another power outlet for as well. These are perfect... and for the price, you can't beat it.

I just received these, plugged them in, and was surprised at how rich the sound was. Obviously it's not going to have deep rumbling bass, but they look awesome. I needed small speakers to put in a bedroom that wouldn't disturb neighbors with booming bass, and these are perfect.These sound better than the JBL Creature speakers, which are MUCH more $$.

Inexpensive quality speakers that really pack a punch for their small size. I know that there are better speakers out there, but not at this price. This was just what I was looking for my MacBook Air. Logitech did a great job. I am very pleased.

Considering their price point, these are really nice.The first test that I did was to plug them in with the music off and crank the volume up as high as it would go. This is a pretty good test for line noise and distortion. To my (pleasant) surprise, there was none.I turned them back down and went through a medley of music at different volumes, including pop, rock, metal, and classical. All sounded crisp and clean.The volume control is responsive, and doesn't have "squish" when turning, which is nice.The cords are a bit shorter than I'd prefer, and I think that it'd be nice if the 3.5 mm jack was actually unnecessary for music on a PC, but those are pretty minor complaints, considering.The product also looks fairly sleek, although I would prefer speakers in black. Nothing that a 99 cent can of spray paint can't fix...Harkius

It has good sound, but one speaker seems to have trouble engaging. I have to turn the volume all the way up for the right speaker to "kick in" then it sounds better. If not, there's only sound from one speaker.

Very good and clear sound,looks cool too,retractable cord is a plus,only cons with this speaker is not properly shielded for interference,on my toshiba laptop works great but when I use use it on my HP Magneseum gray Quad core desk top you hear all kinds of interfernes,because my desk top have so many usb port that is occupied,the solution is if you dont wanna hear any interfernce, use it on your laptop or make sure you dont plug anything right beside its usb power cable,if not for this issue I would have give it a Five star ...

the sound is good, better that my laptop (sony VPCSA31FXSI, the speakers of this laptop is terrible), I found those speakers (logitech z120) in MICROCENTER STORE in $9.99, for that price I think is a great deal.

As far as computer speakers go, I am no expert, but I do know what I like and I do like these speakers. The sound is very clear, much clearer than any other speakers I have heard. I like hooking up my iPod and listening to music, but also for watching videos, etc, these speakers are pretty good.There are just a couple of negatives about these speakers. First of all, the cords don't reach very far, so you have to keep them right next to your computer. No surround sound effect here. Also, if you like your music or computer games loud, look elsewhere. I personally would have liked a bit more volume, but again, for the price, these are not bad.Overall, I am happy with these little speakers. I am more concerned with the crisp, clear sound and these have it. The smaller things that I don't like, I can live with.

The sound on these little speakers work great and the usb powered feature is very helpful. I am very happy with these and even the bass sounds really nice. Well worth the money.

What's not to like? They are small, lightweight, excellent sound quality for the price, and all you have to do is plug the USB connection into your computer and the "earphone" jack into your computer or iPod, turn the on/off/volume knob, and suddenly there is sound.No more batteries or electrical outlets as in older types. What a nuisance those were.The back of the speakers have a notched, wraparound section that you can use to hold the cords. It looks like a bit of a joke, but it works and comes in very handy. Use it to extend the cords just as long as you need, without the extra length getting twisted around everything else, or you can wrap the entire length of the cords for when you want to transport the speakers.Again, what's not to like?

Since monitors don't come with speakers anymore, I had to find a pair. For the price, these have great sound. For the basic computer speakers I highly recommend them.

Users have to be careful when using the USB port to power this device. I connected this product to my 5 yrs old HP desktop computer and within 15 minutes my mother board went bad. Old computer USB though (2.0) is not sufficient to power up this device.

This is one of the simplest pairs of USB-powered speakers you'll ever find. There's no complicated connections; not even a power cord. You just plug them into your laptop (or, in theory, desktop) computer and listen away. The sound is about what you'd expect from speakers of this size and price point. Not exactly high-fidelity, but acceptable, and almost surely better than the sound from your laptop's built-in speakers. They also have a mini-jack so that you can hook up the audio output from an iPod (for example). In order to do so, however, the speakers will still need to be plugged into a computer's USB port in order to get power. The cable connecting the speakers together is rather short, but assuming you're using them with your laptop, it's sufficient.

These suck, one speaker doesn't even work. I'd return them but i'm too lazy. I wanted some cute small speakers and only bought these because they were like ten bucks. But seriously don't buy these, they're lame.

To a degree, I suppose that these speakers are only as good as your other hardware (soundcard) but for the average laptop, and for most users, they sound just fine.The ease of hooking them up, from un-boxing to the point of function is a no-brainer and takes less than one minute. At reasonable sound levels, the bass is quite adequate and the trebles are good at almost any level of volume. Also, the speakers have enought heft to them that they don't vibrate around when placed on a hard surface.For the price, these are very nice speakers and I was particularly taken with their design which is notably new age and pleasing to the eye.Highly recommended.
