Was just looking for a decently priced camera for web chatting. Works great, has great video quality. Has been used for Skype and Google+. Software is fine. The head-tracking feature is neat and works fine even though I tend to prefer just the standard settings.No problems.

I purchased this as a gift-so I'm going by a relatives review. It works good for skype. Quality on skype wasn't the best but that might be skype's fault

I have only a few friends and family members that use a webcam. I am pleased with their images and statements about the C525. It truly does appear to out perform what I have seen so far.

This is a very nice webcam for the size and price. The picture quality is smooth and clear and it folds up to a nice small size. It's compatible with everything I've hooked it up to (OS X, Linux, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows XP). My only minor complaint is that the stand doesn't work very well on screens that are really thin.

What an excellent camera. The clarity of the Logitech C-525 is comparable to other web-cams that are much more expensive. I highly recommend this web-cam.

The gimmick with this particular webcam is you can twist the face of it backwards and fold the lens into the base. It is small and this is said to make the webcam portable. Unfortunately the cord it not re-enforced. If you were intending to carry a webcam around, the cord shorting out would be more of a problem than scratching the lens would be. Because the base of the webcam is designed to be a cover, it is too small and won't clip onto the top of my home flat screen monitor. Even though it is light and would clip onto the top of a laptop it's not that light. Clipped on top of a laptop screen, I think the webcam would cause problems with a laptop either closing or tipping over.This camera has the regular cheap almost useless zoom and pan controls, that don't work with the keyboard arrow buttons, as well as some ridiculous avatars to use. There are additional effects available online. For once I don't mind that a feature wasn't included with the shipped product.The camera is a resource hog. I have a small 2 gig video memory card and I cant get a steady stream if there's a flash application running in the background. Maybe this isn't the best choice for a person with a 4 year old computer like me.The picture is nice, focused, and crystal clear. The wide screen is welcome. It makes it easier to fit a small group into the frame. The depth of field is impressive. The cobwebs in to corner are bound to show up. The face tracking works well when my computer has enough resources to run it. I can get enough resolution to use it with just the light from my monitor. The sound picks up even a soft talking voice clearly.This is a good basic webcam for someone looking for a small cam (its under 2" x 3") to use to make video calls or recording Youtube rants. It comes with basic video editing software.

I bought this webcam a while back and it worked great! It is very portable and I like the way it folds up to protect the lens when you are on the go.

Totally fine webcam that works great. We use it to skype with relatives. The picture quality is very good and we haven't had any problems. Setting up was a breeze.

Thought that it was time to move up to a better camera than what was built in to my notebook , for my new PC. I hit the jackpot with this purchace. Much improved picture and great sound. Installation was automatic. logitech has a well deserved reputation.

This was very easy to set up and it works great. If you want something easy to set up that gives you a good picture this is it.
