Nice camera, the clarity is very good. Works great for everyday chats, auto zoom is not so smooth, but gets hold of text once you give it a few seconds!

A lot has been written on features and pros. I am using this on my Windows 7 and Skype. I agree installation was easy and quality is good. I have not tried other features.The problem I have is that while using video chat on Skype, my image suddenly freezes frequently . I can see that in little window and so does parties on the other side. I dont know if its a PC or Skype or Webcam issue. I know it was not happening before (some old logitech webcam) , secondly, I know its not internet, because I use video chat Skype on iMac also and dont see freezing issues.

Purchased for business use. Needed a fairly good camera at low cost. Arrived promptly, installed easily, works well. Very satisfied with product and ease of use.

Excellent webcam. I have owned many Logitech webcams, and this is the best so far. Very useful left/right swivel feature. Image quality is excellent, and folds down very compactly. For the price, it's got to be one of the best out there.

This camera is 720p (not full HD) but it works very well and has many features that other cameras in this price range do not have. One of the great features is "follow my face". I purchased two of these and would buy them again. I use them with Skype.

I haven'thad alot of time to use this yet but it seems to be a nice working webcam and works with Skype which is why I got it. Upgraded to a dual core for this webcam but have not been on it to know if its working better or not. I would definately recommend this webcam for ease of use and price.

Very pleased with this product. We were surpised that it fit so well on top of our new thin monitor. The clarity is outstanding, and the audio surprised us. I did not realize that audio was included, when I ordered the webcam. We took a photo of outselves with a New Year message, and my husband forgot what to say. I almost whispered to him and it picked it up.That was also a surprise! Be careful how loud you speak because it is very sensitive to sound, which is a quality we like.I highly recommend this product.

This product worked great out of the box but focuses much better on close up objects then onesthat are say 15 feet away. I tried to use it to show a living room Christmas morning to someone elseon the web and they said everyone on the couch (which was 15 feet away from the camera) was not in focus.They had a hard time seeing them. I would not recommend this product for larger rooms but for closer shotsit was great.

This camera does everything a compact HD web camera should do. It delivers clear, pristine video, even in low light conditions. The frame rate is also a huge improvement from traditional web cameras where you feel like your subject is moving in chunks or in slow motion (feels like this camera stays between the 30-60 fps range) while traditional webcams prolly only go at around 15fps.The ONLY issue I have with this camera is the way it mounts into the laptop monitor. If you basically clamp it on to a laptop that is stationary, it's perfect, but the moment you pick the laptop up and want to show a friend rooms in a house, which means you gotta move with the laptop, go up stairs etc.....that's when I believe a very important design flaw comes in....the camera just doesn't quite stay put, and that's because there's no real clamp that sticks to the monitor, it's basically a gravity/stairstep design.Otherwise, good product!

I have this camera perched atop my LCD monitor - it's a perfect fit. Great for Skype, shooting quick videos, etc. The included software is full featured, easy to use - and has some fun features. Tired of the same old video showing your same old face? Well, Jane Jetson has the cardboard face she'd put in front of the camera. This does one better - mouth, facial expression and head tracking puts a new you on the screen. Add a Bord eyepiece. Become a shark (my favorite) and more. Amazingly accurate (after a 45 second setup) and tons of fun.When I'm shooting quickie product photos, I just turn this gem sideways and shoot away - lost faster and simpler than using a camera - and plenty fine for online shots.It's wallet friendly, folds up for easy transportation with your laptop and shoots in full 720p. The audio is also pretty decent!

and portable too! Totally satisfied! Looked at a lot of others, and this one seemed the best value. Now that we have it on the 'puter and running...couldn't be happier. Easy to set up too.

Received on time, it works great. It's small and compact, rests on my computer nicely. I like that it swivels around and that I can lift it up easily to show people my surroundings. Very easy to install. Have no complaints at all, plan on using it more soon.

Simple to install and use. Works great with things like Google voice calls and video conferencing. Microphone is clear - people on the other end have no idea I'm talking through a web cam for a voice call. Typical great Logitech quality.

Received the webcam very quick, was quite pleased with it. Easy to follow instructions, so set up went quick. Love to be able to use it to visit with friends as well as a granddaughter when she is in Africa with her job. Its amazing, well worth the money

I selected the C525 with the replacement of my decade-old logitech digicam in mind. That tiny cam has served me well all these years but it hasn't aged gracefully and it's time to replace it with a modern HD webcam. The C525 is a 720p webcam that's capable of 8MP still shots and HD calls across multiple IM services. I have not had the chance to test out the HD calls but I have used it for regular ones and it's superb -- awesome, even. My lone complaint on this 5 star review is that the indicator light doesn't seem to turn on when audio-only calls are active. It's not a big deal, but oh well it's just one insignificant thing.

I bought this because of the other reviews. I have to say that the performance is better than expected.I am small business owner of an IT Support company [...] and I purchased so I can communicate visually with my clients. I operate this camera on a Windows 7 64-bit system and installed it without any issues.I absolutely recommend this product.

I'm really disappointed that this webcam didn't work well with my windows laptop. The installation was a breeze and the cam itself is so co small and compact. You can easily throw this in a bag and it travels well. The fact that you can turn it 360 and it shoots in HD is awesome but it didn't work with my machine. I installed the software filmed my first video and just as I was about to save my laptop froze and I mean nothing on task manager was going to fix it. I have a new laptop that I got in December that I had never had any issues with. So after a hard restart I checked to make sure all my software and drivers were up to date and I tried again and again the webcam locked my pc. I searched the web and found out that other users had the same problem. To protect my pc I removed it. Again this didn't work for me but that isn't to say it won't work for you.

I have decided to buy a webcam so that I can keep in touch with family across the miles. I was shopping on Amazon for a few days and stumbled on a good offer on the Logitech C525.The installation was easy on windows XP Pro SP3 and Windows 7 64 bit ed. The software worked well with Google Voice and Skype. The video is almost perfect, the sound is very good and the overall configuration and setup is very good. I will be buying a few more of these over the next few weeks to send to family members for use in Thanksgiving and Christmas or any other occasion that requires video conferencing.I am very happy with the product.
