Прибрел Veb-камеру logitech HD C525. Крепление на ЖК монитор не надежное. "Автофокус" лучше не включать, зря за него переплачивал. При работе с "Автофокусом" изображение размытое. В Veb-кмере разочарован.

- + О достоинствах написано много, описано достаточно подробно
- - Купил в 14 или 15 году. Через 2 года стала ощутимо подглючивать, сначала отваливалось изображние, потом и звук. Долго мучился, но разобрался в чем проблема. Оказалось, плохой контакт в шлейфе, не на стороне компьютера, а внутри камеры. Очень мальнький разъем, контакт за пару лет окислился и перестал...

I haven't used this beyond a day and I normally wait awhile to write a review but I wanted to get this up here now since there seems to be some confusion about this working with Mac Computers. This camera works without the driver automatically within the apps of Skype and Facetime if you select the C525 cam and mic in the Preferences of those programs. But what you really want to do is go online and download a driver since with it the quality isn't that good as most of that is managed by the driver. Even though the C525 doesn't have a driver download on it's product page, the drivers for Logitech's webcams are interchangeable so you can go to [...] then click on Webcams, then click on the model HD Webcam C615, select your Mac OS operating system and download the driver.Once it downloads you just double click it open, install, and double click the App Logitech Icon and you will see the light come on the camera. You can record from the software that will display once this app is open then import it into iMovie and edit as usual. Unfortunately you can't select this camera for recording directly with iMovie but I don't mind the extra step. I believe if you were using this camera with a PC you would have a lot more options to use within the logitech software such as uploading directly to YouTube and other recording adjustments so I hope that logitech will be updating the Mac software soon but with the limits to Mac options at this price point this camera is worth it. If your computer screen is on while shooting then you will definitely be lit enough for things like Skype and Facetime but if you are shooting something for YouTube and you want a more natural light I dim the computer screen down half way to get rid of the blue cast on the wall behind me and use a few daylight lamps and it turns out great. With the options out now I love this new camera since...- It is definitely a better quality pic at 720dpi- Doesn't lag- Voice and picture sync well- Fold's up nicely to travel in my bag- Sound is great for a Webcam Mic and I think a bit better than the Macbook Pro Mich- You can choose which Mic to use as you record with the Logitech recording software so if I want to use a different Mic I can- Best inexpensive Webcam out there in my opinion for Mac users right nowHope this review clears things up and helps people get their cameras working with Macs :)

Pros:This webcam delivers a high quality image, unlike other webcams. I like the HD feature, it works well. Even though I couldn't get it to stay seated on my monitor I played with it to see how well it records. So far so good.It captures quality photo images, and the autofocus feature is handy. The images are much better than expected for a webcam. If this is important to you, and you'd like images that are comparable with a portable digital camera (rather than a cellphone) you'll be pleased. Like any webcam the color seems to be a bit washed out without using the HD feature. It does have 8 megapixels for a sharp clear image, though. Like a digital camera, it functions better with brighter lighting rather than soft or low lighting.The software allows for uploading vids to facebook, youtube via a one click installation. This feature works well when I tried it with my "funky video" of my cats (handheld!). The installation of the software was easy, easier than most for non-techies. Note that your computer will set up a separate internet connection to accomodate the webcam. This sort of freaked me out until I realized what it was!The editing software is OK, it works...but is very basic. As long as you don't expect it to be "quality" it will do the job for basic operations. If you've got a better editor, you won't use it. It is designed for someone who doesn't, or a person who isn't "tech-savvy" and just wants to clean up images a bit.The mic worked well & captured sound comparable with my digital camera. No issues there.Cons:The clip isn't wide enough for older monitors. The USB cable is better suited for a laptop than a desktop (it's a bit short). I could not run the cable down the back of my desktop & keep it out of the way (like my speakers, mouse, and keyboard). I could only run it in front (plug it in on the front of my CPU) which made the cord get tangled with my mouse & keyboard. 6 feet just didn't cut it.I had some issues with using it with a slower internet connection before I converted to wifi. If you've got satellite (or less bandwidth) this may be an issue. If you have a cap on your usage, beware. This webcam will use alot of your bandwidth. My satellite ISP turned my service off, thanks to using the webcam. Thankfully, I got wifi! I'm in a rural area, so we don't have many choices. If you're in the same situation, this WILL be an issue.While the software is great (offers many features), I had some problems with it launching with startup. I'm running Windows XP, and it crashed a few times. I had to remove it via the task manager (under "processes") when I wasn't using it, or had more than one internet page open at the same time. Since I'm not running any extra programs (other than my antivirus) I wasn't happy with it.My antivirus didn't like this program & prompted me to remove it several times. Is it a problem with my anti-virus or the webcam? The mystery continues....I didn't try it with Skype (my bad!) since I couldn't get it to stay on my monitor without tilting (clip & cord problem), so I can't review that feature.As long as you're not saddled with the same issues I have had (older monitor, slower connection), I believe you'll like this webcam. I was surprised at the quality for the cost. It's ideal for those who are looking for a simple & easy webcam to use, it's small & portable. It would work well for kids, or those who are beginners.

Note: My rating reflects Logitech's customer service - not product performance.I ordered this model because some of the reviews indicated it worked fine on a Mac - in retrospect, I don't know why I didn't order the C615 instead - because it is advertised to be Mac-compatible. I don't doubt that the C525 worked on someone's Mac - but it won't work on my recent model Mac-Mini. I accept responsibility for not ordering the right product.The C525 has a fine picture - but there is no way to get the sound to work on a Skype call. I set the system preferences to recognize the sound input from the C525 webcam, and the sound level meter shows good deflection - but there is only silence on the Skype call.Logitech's customer service was prompt to reply to my email requesting assistance, but the help was a total waste of my time. After 4 email exchanges describing the problem and requesting assistance, all I could get back was boiler-plate text from "Elle". She asked the same questions that I answered in the previous emails over and over again. I'll have to give Logitech's attempt at customer service an "FFF" grade (Frustrating, Futile and Fruitless)!I delayed using the C525 for about 6 weeks (waiting for my daughter to get settled in a new city) and by that time the window for returns at Amazon had closed.Logitech seems to be the only game in town for webcams. The build quality on the product seems to be very good. I've just ordered and received the C615 model from Amazon.com. Great Amazon service as always. As I compare the labels, I'm puzzled why Logitech makes two models that look physically identical and appear to have the exact same specs. Yet the C525 is labeled to work only on Windows - and the C615 is labeled to work on Windows and MacOS.Wonder why the company sells two models when one would do - and would be less confusing to their customers? Wonder why all of their webcams don't work on Windows and MacOS?

This is a great, inexpensive little webcam for personal video conferencing (Skype). The picture quality is not incredible, but still far better than what most people you'll chat with have with their iPad, phone, or the camera built into their laptop.I've been doing videoconferencing and webcasts for some twenty years -- in the early days it was mostly Polycom units, but lately Cisco Telepresence. With Telepresence you have three 1080p 60" big screens. The monthly cost is enormous but often justified by savings in travel costs (if you say so). Personal IP services like skype aren't as dependable or as rich in quality but they're outstanding on a cost basis, especially if the DSL or cable ISP fee is sunk.I was tempted to step up to the 1080 (C920) camera but I've resisted because already nobody that I conference with (for personal use) has anything near as good as this, and they may also have trouble receiving or displaying 1080 video. Some of them even have monthly byte transfer limits from their ISP. So I see the 1080 HD services as better if it's really going to work out on all ends. Short of that, the autofocus this camera has is great especially when it's going to be more than a face-cam. I use mine to conference a whole room with a family of four. The kids are walking back and forth, to and from the camera and focus stays good. Its reasonably wide-angle is good too -- wide enough to see the room at some distance, but not so wide it distorts faces badly in closeup. I need to test the audio more at the longer ranges. It has an auto-gain feature that seems to be working well. Again, unfortunately, even if I get great audio at the source, it ends up going through someone's laptop speakers or an iPad on the other end.The most important and biggest improvements to video conferencing to make once you have an adaquate camera like this is in lighting and acoustics in the room. It's real common to see people on camera that are back-lit, with their faces in darkness and a room full of echoes, reverb and weird modes.Put a little thought into the whole audio-video scene of the conference from end-to-end and this camera/mic combination can be made to perform very well for quite a low cost.

Like other reviews previously posted, I also received this item through the Amazon Vine program. I was setting up to do a video review when I noticed that there is already one good technical video review on the page and one very good more practical review. Thus, I decided to do something a bit different. Having just received the webcam and still being in the honeymoon stage with it, I decided to come back after several months of usage with the video review of a more long term user. Sometimes our initial impressions give way to harsher realities after a product has been put to a more grueling test! So let's see how this holds up to the scrutiny of everyday use over time.I have never owned a stand-alone webcam, so this is my first. But my laptop does have a built-in unit which I have played around with a bit. While picture clarity and ease of function are both good on this device, it has limited versatility as it is fastened to my laptop in a stationary position. The Logitech HD Webcam C525, Portable HD 720p Video Calling with Autofocus was installed on my desktop computer. The unit itself has complete portability and has much more versatility. It does have an adjustable tension clip, but we can't quite get it hooked onto our flatscreen monitor with any precision so we keep it adjacent to the screen for during non-chat times.Initial reaction:Ease of Installation: Even if you lack technical savvy, this device is a breeze to install. Just use the provided CD, and you'll literally be going in a few minutes assuming you can follow simple on-screen instructions.Intuitive: I never read instruction manuals--I like to play with my new toys. Here, the Logitech webcam again exceeds expectations. It is completely intuitive to use, gives you appropriate prompts and gets you on target instantly. Anything that you need to know can be easily figured out during initial usage. You don't have to be particularly smart (whew!) or computer literate, this is an easy camera to use.Autofocus: So far, this seems like a good feature. Definitely does a good job if your primary goal is in chatting. It's less detailed, as you might imagine, if you're trying to display more intricate items--but it works great for my fat head!Picture Clarity: As I mentioned, I'm no expert in comparing this to other choices available on the marketplace. I haven't done the comparison shopping to make a valid point here, but for standard chatting use--I see no reason why this wouldn't be perfectly clear and acceptable to any home user.Price: The Logitech HD Webcam C525 certainly fits comfortably in the mid-range price level of webcams. As such, my initial impressions of the item are extremely favorable. Seems to be quite adept, with strong performance abilities, for a moderate retail price tag.Again, I will revisit this review in several months to see where we stand after some time has gone by. At about 4 1/2 stars during this phase, let's hope that can hold up or improve. But I'm quite pleased with what I've seen so far. Ok. So, I haven't cared about web cams, teleconferencing, blah blah blah blah blah for years. But, when my room mate and I decided to get a web cam for the shared computer out in the living room; I immediately went to Logitech to see their latest and greatest in web cam peripherals. Well, I wasn't disappointed.The c525 is lightweight but sturdy, easy to install, and impressive for its small stature. The auto focus, face following tech is really neat; making skype / google hangout interaction super easy. The HD features are instantly recognizable and enrich the web chat function; for sure. Logitech rates their three HD cams in order of good, better, and best. The c525 is the "better" or next to the best HD cam in their bag of tricks. It is the future. I don't have my flying car and a robot maid. But, I do press buttons for a living and now I have one of the better HD web cams out there.

This is a great product; it was easy to install and works well. I almost didn't buy it after I read the 1 and 2 star comments, but after using the camera I do not understand their complaints - unless they received a lemon of course. I suspect that most of the complaints about products installed on Windows 7 systems that don't work well are due to less than optimal system resources. My system has an i5 dual processor @ 3.20 GHz, 8 GB RAM, with Win 7 Professional 64-bit SP1 as the OS. No problems.The only disappointment, and it is small, is that it was a bit tricky removing the camera from the manufacturer's packaging. One could break the camera if you proceeded too quickly or applied too much force.

Well, the camera worked well. It has decent low light pickup, good optics (clear, crisp images), and connected and ran with no problems. The issue is the included software.The VID software (Logitech's version of Skype) worked, as did Skype, but if you need to use this camera to make recordings, you may be out of luck. Despite contacting Logitech's support group, they could not come up with a resolution other than uninstall and reinstall. Well, gee, if only I had thought of that...At the end of the day, it just never worked. My system was a Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit setup. I've heard that other OS setups have had better luck, but I've also heard others with my setup make the same complaint, so check your setup before purchase.If you have other recording software you will use, or don't need to make recordings, this is a good Webcam. However, if you need to use it for home recordings, keep looking, or try it ASAP and return the unit if it doesn't work.

I bought this camera for a family member to skype with my 3 year old nephew since it also has the video effects to turn you into characters, change backgrounds etc. This model is advertised as supporting "Premium Video Effects" but if you install the latest drivers for it, there are no video effects. You have to go back three whole versions to get Video Effects available. Even then when we finally got them working, there's an error message that says to reboot the computer, which doesn't even fix it most of the time.It's just unacceptable to advertise a feature where it's not even supported with software updates and even when you use older versions it doesn't work.

Because I wanted to try it right away, I installed the C525 webcam on my little Samsung netbook computer as soon as it was delivered to my home yesterday afternoon. The video quality was okay in the Logitech software, but the video was blurred and washed out when run on Google+ Hangouts. As a result, I was really kicking myself for buying it and rationalizing that "you get what you pay for". (On Amazon, this camera is really quite inexpensive.)Today was a different story, however. I installed the webcam on my office desktop computer after having already convinced myself that it was not going to be very good. I'm happy to say that I was wrong! The video quality was excellent--even on Google+ Hangouts! I also like how compact and light weight it is. It's easy to disconnect and store it in the desk drawer at my office. It's also easy to adjust the camera angle both vertically and horizontally.I would definitely recommend this product! And, as this whole process confirmed, one should not have high expectations for this excellent little webcam on a tired and slow netbook.

I am satisfied with this product overall, with the exception of the poor method of clamping to the top of our notebook computer. Obviously, this camera was designed for many different applications, and as a result, may not be optimal for some, including mine. Our Acer laptop screen is only 3/16 in thick, and the camera can be knocked off fairly easy. So, I built an adapter using cardboard, a piece of foam material, and vinyl tape to increase the overhang in both the front and back, and provide a more stable and secure attachment. Now it works much better, and reduces the potential for it to come off. It also simplifies putting it on in the first place as well (just slip it over the top of the laptop). Maybe I should apply for a patent on my design. Obviously, my degrees are in mechanical engineering.

Yeah, I'm a slacker because I didn't leave a review about this after I purchased it:My review of this (I'm a 'newbie' reviewer) is that this camera rocks, especially for the price. I was looking to buy a webcam and even though I'm a 'computer guy' I didn't know what I was looking for - musta spent weeks on the research. Torn between spending $30 bucks for a so-so webcam or spending $80+ because there wasn't a happy medium there, I finally found this deal.Since it's my first review I'll try to be clear: this webcam rocks! I believe the ones I was originally comparing were the C500 and the C615 but the (main) differences is the glass lens. And (now) I do know that having a glass lens really does make a difference. I also purchased a C600 but the picture is totally different between them - it's like 'night & day' so to speak! I purchased another and sent it do my dad because it is so clear, even in low light.Make sure to download the latest drivers for it (I'm using 64bit Windows) just in case, but if not the driver disk that was included wasn't that old so it should work fine out of the box.Sorry for my lame excuse of a review but at the same time my recommendation is to get this one - stick to this price of a webcam unless you can put out the big bucks and get a 900 series or such. And you really don't need that unless you plan to do some serious recording (just my opinion).Please feel free to give me advice on my review. I know, I know, I shoulda been more prepared....

I gave this a 4 star rating because there are a few issues i wish were better. the Auto-Focus, like with most all Video Cameras is not perfect by any means. at times i end up using the manual focus instead. the video quality is ok but again. it's a 4 and not a 5 rating. i also would have preferred it also had a lens cover too but this one does not. overall i think this cam is worth what i paid for it. had i needed a better cam i would have spent more money. as always, you get what you pay for.........

Length:: 0:42 MinsA couple of the Vine members already did good video reviews for this webcam so I don't see any point in doing yet another video review saying the same "only good" things. With that said I'll be talking about what I've used it for and my own experiences with it.First I tested this webcam using Skype...making a video call to an iPhone 4 running the Skype mobile app. My desktop PC is a Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz + 4GB RAM + WinXP. This is the computer I used to initiate a Skype video call to an iPhone 4. The iPhone was connected to the internet via WiFi while the PC was connected via ethernet. Both were sharing a DSL with 2.5Mbps download/0.5Mbps upload of total bandwidth.The video call worked very well similar to Apple's FaceTime. Audio and video quality was pretty good considering the available shared bandwidth. The webcam has good light sensitivity only needing a single ceiling light to get very good exposure. Color rendition was also pretty good.As far as full quality video capture, I was a little disappointed with the framerate. I estimate it's around 20 frames per second but it's using some kind of frame interpolation to try and smooth out the transition between frames as evidenced by the motion blur. What this means is if you want "true" 30 frames per sec 720P resolution video (without motion blur), you'll have to use some other more capable device like a digital camera that can also shoot video.Even at "lossless" video quality settings the video still ended up looking softer than a 720P recording from my digital camera, however color rendering was surprisingly good for a "webcam". The slightly soft video is expected given that my digital camera has a larger and better lense.One really cool feature is the ability for the camera to be twisted a full 360 degrees which is very nice especially when attached to the screen on a notebook computer. This will allow you to record video of whats behind the computer while using the screen as a viewfinder instead of having to turn the computer around which is always the case when using the built-in notebook webcams. Also when folding the camera for transport you just turn the lense portion 180 degrees and fold it down (see included video) giving the lense good protection from scratches, dirt, fingerprints etc.In summary I would definitely recommend this webcam for video calls or video chat, however if you need to record a sharp/crisp high quality video of yourself for uploading to YouTube etc without motion blur, I'd recommend using a digital camera which you could get for less than $100.

Logitech comes through for us a lot. This is a good camera for laptop travel. I hate the camera in my laptop cause where I fit in it's frame, I don't like the angle of the screen. Having this camera allows me to adjust it as I want, and to take it off the laptop and show the kids what's in the hotel room, or outside the window, OR for clients when I'm showing them some of our very small products. Good Color, instant response, good microphone. Great Value

Lightning fast service from Amazon as usual :) Got this to replace the built in camera on my old notebook machine (xppro sp3). Works fine, skype no problems, nice autofocus, rotation is handy, unobtrusive 'active' light on the front. Did encounter a glitch in the Logitech app software when playing with avatars, hopefully restarting has fixed, haven't tested again yet. The software install from the included disk (even though I had deselected install of Logitech's own web communication software) took an oddly long time- I mean like twenty minutes on a reasonably fast machine, then the immediate alerts for updates, which took another fifteen minutes to get and install- I wondered if it was loading up my machine with a bunch of crapware. Sure, I could have just installed the driver alone, but I did want to check out some of the added software, and probably some features not available with driver-only install. Nice form factor on this as well, folds up into the base for safe travel. No regrets.

It didn't fit on the monitor, no way to adjust it, kept dropping down.It required too many other programs, including Windows Live Essentials which I had trouble with setting up. I never could get the Live mail working. I had deleted it from my system before. I tried again to no avail. I'll probably have to have a tech come in to clean out my system as it slowed down significantly.
