I think these headphones sound good and I haven't had any trouble with the mic working. In my opinion they are also comfortable.

It blocks out some background noise. Comfortable fit,fits to ears nicely without hurting your head at all. Quality sound, microphone also works well. The swivel movement of the earpieces is nice sometimes, but can get annoying...seems like it may break easily, but so far are holding up fine. Overall, a good buy!

I was not particularly happy when this arrived, with one ear dead after two seconds. The replacement (thank you Amazon) arrived and is fine so far. For the price, though, I can get three pair of Frisbys which are a match in everything but isolation, and personally I find more comfortable. I wear glasses and have to stretch the over-head to maximum so my ear isn't uncomfortably squeezed between the glasses' earpiece and the headset ear surround. Headsets in general never seem to last more than a year, so I will not spend the money on Koss again. Someone else in the house likes them well enough to use them, fortunately.

Good sound, good mic, more comfortable than average, cute way of folding up. I like these and for about $30 I am satisfied. I need to adjust them on my ears every hour or so for comfort. Cheap headphones I have to adjust all the time. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 and $30 instead of $100. I use them for Rosetta Stone language software.

This is a very Inexpensive high quality set of Headphones. Its not as nice as my Tritton AXPRO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rnn0evOO7pg but it is all you'll ever need in a headset. It also has a wonderful Microphone with a abnormally large Puffy Pro grade wind guard on the end of the Boom. Great isolation from room noise. I sit in an agile team room and often do Skype calls overseas. This stereo headset isolates me from room noise particularly other people on the same call avoiding the skype delay of hearing them say it in the room and then hearing it on the headphones. I wish I had bought these first before the more open headset.

I found that my ears really hurt after about 30 minutes to an hour of wearing this headset. The quality seemed very good and the the mic was also great. However, I had to return them because it definitely was not " long lasting comfort."

i like the sound of these they have a lot of bass response, yet the highs come through pretty good too if you have an eq. i have a pair of over ear sony's and these sound way better. plus they have a mic for computer conferencing. they are a bit expensive, but it's all about the sound quality for me since it's getting harder and harder to find good quality audio equipment these days. so yeah they are worth it.

These are worth the money. I kept buying the cheap Walmart $15 headphone/microphone set and went through about three of them before deciding to get these. They have already lasted more than twice as long as one cheap set of headphones. The sound is great and the microphone is great.These really isolate your ears from external sound. That is great if that is what you want. I use them in the office to drown out distractions. They are also very durable - but somewhat bulky. Without the case the pad for the microphone would come off soon - I would recommend getting the case if you are going to travel with them.

The cost to quality ratio is high. Sound is great and the speakers fit very well over your ears causing most outside sound to be muted completely. Mic also sounds great according to Ventrilo users. If you're a gamer on a budget and not an audiophile, don't hesitate to pick these up.

These are amazing, They fit perfectly, pick up noise on the mic extremely clear. Everything is better than expected! The sound is clean, and crisp, picks up bass better than my old mics, and these look like they can take a fall or two, not like my past ones.. Best of all, they block the noise of my dogs barking, everything is sooooo silent! I Love them!!

Koss SB49 Communication StereophoneThe only major flaw to this, really, is the size. Some people dont like those bigger headsets, i dont mind personally. Even though its big, its comfortable, nice big oval shape ensures that it doesnt rest on your ears. The long mic is precurved to stick out infront, right to the side of your mouth. And the volume control is nice (its just a cheapy slider, not a round dial like most), but lacks a mic mute switch/button.The product is great for a cheaper headset, highly recommended. Puts bass sound out very well, too.

A very good headset. Very convenient, and the quality of the of the sound is excellent. Also excellent noise-canceling properties.Update: after 2 years it developed a problem so that the stereo sound periodically cuts off and works only for one ear.
