These earbuds are not horrible, just one annoying characteristic that has caused me to stop using them.
To start off, pros are these buds sit really flush with the ears not causing any obscene objects sticking far out of your ear. The con is the remote/mic is excessively big and sits down around your chest. I usually like to feed by earbuds under my shirt so the cord is not flapping out while moving around. With the mic being down by the chest this makes it a little impractical. I have since stopped using these earbuds because of being consistently annoyed by the location of the remote/mic.

Edit: broken within 4 months, AGAIN! Very poor build quality - thankfully Amazon replaced them without quibble, though I don't anticpiate them to last.

I'm no audiophile, but do appreciate decent sound quality and although the headphones that ship with the Iphone 5 are an improvement on the previous disposable jobs, they still weren't hitting the spot. The price of these earphones did seem a tad high, but on the basis of hours used per day whilst commuting and in the office my cost per hour is negligible if they last a couple of years like the S3's that these replace.
I work in a rowdy open plan office and struggle to concentrate unless I can block it all out - these headphones effectively isolate most of that even without any music on, and with very little volume you are cocooned in your own tunes without distraction. The other useful feature is the remote that allows you to skip through tracks on your iPhone, without having to suretitiously rumage around in your pocket, elbowing your fellow commuter in the process.
Sound quality as you'd expect is excellent and perfectly balanced - skipping through my fairly eclectic music collection the headphones seamlessly cope with whatever I throw at them. Bass response is good, but not to the detriment of everything else and makes for a very clean clear sound.
I didn't buy them for use as a headset, but on the odd occasion I've receieved a call whilst listening to music they have performed very well without needing to raise the microphone to your mouth.
The flat profile cable is meant to resist tangling, which seems to be the reality and not marketing hype - the downside is the material does seem to catch on my clothes and rustle. It in no way detracts from experience and is preferabe to the tangled mess I'd occasionally wind up with.
All of which is backed by a 2 year warranty for that little extra reassurance - whole heartedly recommended.

Sound stopped transmitting in the right earpiece. Since I have a hearing deficit in my left ear, these in-ear headphones are absolutely useless to me. I contacted amazon online and the return policy already expired. I used to have a positive reaction to Klipsch products, but no more.
I had a cheaper pair of Sony in-ear headphones and they lasted 2.5 years, these Klipsch only lasted 3 months.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Great headphones just got better. The flat cord keeps the wires from getting tangled. The sound is just as good as far more expensive headphones and are extremely comfortable

wore them on a daily basis, nice bass. wore them to work and the buttons dont work suddenly. on the way home and the right ear bud died. comes back if i touch or hold the cord a weird way. price was not cheap for 3 months.

I have owned 3 pairs of S4i's and am now on my second pair of S4ii's because Klipsch has had to replace the warranty pair they sent me (LOL a warranty pair on the warranty pair), which comically enough is also faulty... the remote doesn't work with my ipod or iphone, as well as a short in the cord near the plug, noticeable when it is tugged to one side even moderately... really sad for a brand new product. Obviously I like the sound or I wouldn't keep buying them but the build quality on Klipsch headphones is laughable... problems galore = DO NOT BUY.

Great pair of headphones. For the price, the sound quality is way above par! Also the customer service I experience from Klipsch was beyond amazing when the headphones stopped working.
Highly recommended to anyone looking to buy a pair of headphones in the $100 range.

I have gone through many of those earphones and they were purchased at a much higher price. It was OK while it works. One lasted three months and one less than 2 months. The longest one I have ever had was about one year, after reenforcing the junctions with wrinkable plastic tubes.
Although the headphones have two year warranty, the fine print was that Klipsch will find every way NOT to honor it. Here is an email I received from them: "Unfortunately the dealer (Thevarietyspot) you purchased the headphones from on Amazon is not an authorized dealer. Our warranty is non-transferrable and is unfortunately void when purchased from an unauthorized dealer. You may want to get in touch with this dealer to handle your warranty claim. I do apologize; however, this is our policy."
DO NOT BUY THEM AGAIN!!!

Music sounds fantastic through these earbuds and the noise canceling works very well. BUT, if the headphone wire moves ever so slightly, you'll hear horrible feedback.
I'm very disappointed that I paid $50 for a pair of headphones that only work well when I am sitting 100% still. For doing anything other than desk work, these headphones fail miserably due to the overwhelming wire noise. If you are a remotely active person and want to wear headphones for running, commuting, or even walking down the street, do not buy this product.

The remote function is great for skipping and pausing music, as well as adjusting volume for those of us with a fast paced manual job. Sadly, they haven't lasted much longer than cheapo earbuds. Hopefully newer lines of Klipsch will be more durable.

Right on the box of these earphones, it says "Made for iPod." They are also advertised per the description above as having a "three-button remote for...controlling music on iPods." But the remote does not work with my iPod at all, which is a real piss-off as the reason I wanted new headphones was specifically for use with my iPod and what sold me on these headphones in particular was the three-button remote. When you say it's made for and works with iPods, but it doesn't work with the iPod, that's blatantly false advertising. These are going back, and that's the first and last time I ever deal with Klipsch.

I am all about quality. Therefore, I could hardly wait to listen to my favorite tunes with superior sound. The sound was good, but the ear buds would not stay in my ears. I turned them every which way, and still, they constantly fell out. I have never has this problem with the free ear buds.Another issue, the unit actually fell apart. It wasn't as if I was rough with it.

These were my first set of in ear buds. Sound quality is really good. Just takes sometime to get use to if you never used in ear buds before. Te noise isolation is great

One earbud broke after only one and a half months. Before that the sound quality was good, but they are bad when mobile: if the cord moves around or hits your body the sound it makes in your ear is extremely loud.

I don't understand how other reviewers/purchasers have been able to accept the terrible cord noise. It is SO distracting and irritating. What good is a "noise isolation" feature when you have to listen to constant cord noise? What's "isolating" about that?! Perhaps if I sat perfectly still and didn't move my head an inch, I could appreciate the sound quality. I'll take a little outside noise over cord noise any day -- it's so intense! I'm miserably disappointed in these headphones and am returning them ASAP.

Excellent sound and build quality. Comes with different sizes of ear pads. Flat cable keeps from tangling and the controls on the main cable are convenient.

I bought this based on an internet site review that rated it #1 by the author. I was disappointed with the music quality which has very little bass, sort of a hollow sound (my Sony headset is much better for music). However...its the best headset I have ever used for phone calls. The voice sound is very clear and the microphone works very well.

The right side is fine but I can barley hear the left. This is the 4th pair I've owned in a little under 2 years. I'm giving up on Klipsch. They have great sound quality but horrible, HORRIBLE build quality.

I bought these headphones and loved them until four months after my purchase the left ear stopped working. I can tell there’s an issue with the plug as I can jiggle the cord and get the headphones to work for a second or two. But the time they broke it was too late to have them replaced.

These In-Ear headphones sound great. The sound quality is about the same as buying $50 headphones.
The headphones are comfortable. They are also easy to clean the wax off the rubber piece.
The build quality is ok. Don't expect these to last a year or more. Be easy on the wires or they may get frayed.
For the price, its worth it. Buy it.

Most comfortable and best sounding IEMs in this price. Can keep wearing them for hours and they are so light that it never feels uncomfortable.

I loved the sound the first two month i received this product. Started getting shocked in my ear while walking. After a while the sound would cut in and out. the control stick on the line stopped working. These got replaced with Jay Bird Bluetooth wireless headset.
