Отличная модель
- + Отличный сканер, отличная программа для работы со сканером в XP. Когда увидел, что производитель осуществил поддержку в ОС 7, перешёл с Хрюши на 7-ку. Работает в 7, только в фотошопе, отдельно проги нет, возможно в каком либо просмотрщике, где есть инструменты обработки графики. Два раза за год, обновлялись дрова с сайта HP. Большой набор рамок для сканирования слайдов. За один раз можно отсканировать почти всю фотопленку, предварительно разрезав её по 8 кадров. Рамки 24х36 мм, 45х60 мм, 60х60 мм, 60х90 мм, 130х180 мм. Может сканировать прозрачный негатив формата А4. Без проблем сканирую рентгеновские снимки, МРТ и т.д. до формата А3, собираю в фотошопе и сразу можно отсылать в больницу, где ждут снимки потенциального пациента. Большое количество настроек,...

This scanner makes great scans of 3D objects -- it has a good depth of field and it is not so bright that it casts unwanted shadows. Many of the newer scanners on the market use very bright LED lights that casted unwanted colored shadows on my 3D tiles. Also many of the newer scanners do not have a decent depth of field to scan 3D objects. I make handmade tiles with high relief and have been using an older Epson scanner to scan my tiles for my website. Unfortunately I got too many scratches on that scanner bed. I first replaced it with a newer Epson model (V33) and although the depth of field was great, the light was too bright and cast blue shadows that I could not correct, even with Photoshop. After speaking with Epson support and sending them pictures of the scan on my older Epson and the same object scanned with the V33 they determined that the problem was with the LED technology which they now use with all of their scanners. I also got a new all-in-one printer with a scanner (HP officejet pro 8600) - and although the scanner on that is great for documents, it had no depth of field - anything more than 1/8 away from the surface was blurry. After some research on the internet I determined that I need a scanner with Charge Coupled Device (CCD)technology (which gives a greater depth of field) AND a Cold cathode fluorescent lamp for the light source instead of the newer LED technology. The HP Scanjet has both and does a good job scanning my tiles. The only downside so far is that it a bit noisy and a bit slow. But I am happy with it.

In the government area and I can tell you that we have a crap load of paper stored in cabinets. Recently our legal team agreed that we can scan all paperwork and start tossing them away. This thing is heavy, loud and fast exactly as what the previous reviews said. The copier machines we have requires 2 passes for double-sided paper but this machine only requires one pass for both sides. Scanning at 200 DPI is quite fast but lower DPI will scan faster (with high jam rate).In 3 months of usage, it finally started to jam more and more. A message popped up requiring two maintenance parts that cost over $250 in total. When the technician came and look at the machine, they were curious on why the maintenance cycle came up so quickly. The count revealed that I've scanned over 109,000 pages (passes). I think that's fair that some rollers and rubber parts would give in.Overall, I highly recommend this scanner.

Gave a much better scan then expected. I am not taken with the feed mechanism that grabs the slide and pulls it in. It is very sensitive and needs some learning before it works well. Still, the scanned results are good to excellent.

I had a scanner like this before until it quit working after quite a bit of use. It is four-year-old technology but I wanted it for the CCD (charge coupled device) technology which gives sharper images but is missing in most recent scanners. It appears there are only a couple scanners left on the market that are CCD, unhinged to let you copy book pages, and cost about $100. I tried it with a photograph and with a page of text which used the included OCR software to translate the image to text. Not being a geek, I cannot comment further except to say it's exactly what I need at the right price.

I have only used for scanning slides. Scanner renders very good reproduction of the slides in their current condition. A bit noisy and takes about 30 minutes for 16 slides. At under 2 minutes per slide it is not bad, comparing with a one-slide device. It allows you to do something else while the scanning is taking place. I recommend.

The Good:The hardware is fine, good quality and not too unreasonable design in terms of ergonomics. SLOOOOOOOW! The box does good work but you need patience.Now the bad:Documentation is non-existent and the software to operate this device requires a Bletchley Park effort to deduce the mysterious inner workings of the deranged software genius's (Asian?) mind that HP hired to write this application. Yet a persistent soul can get high quality scans from it with patience.

I have bought a couple of these scanners. They do a marvelous job for a reasonable price. When I upgraded to Windows 7, however, I found it would no longer work. When I called HP, they told me that did not intend to release a driver for Windows 7, but they would be happy to sell me a new scanner that would work. I keep my old XP computer around just to use the scanner.

This scanner is not made very well. The connectors are weak and break very easily. No Auto document feeder is available for it. Would choose a different model in the future.

Of all the office equipment I've used, this is by far my favorite. You can scan big documents, individual sheets, odd-shaped pieces, email them to yourself as a picture or as a pdf, easily change the settings/quality, and it works VERY FAST.Even on a high quality scan setting, it scans very fast! Even on LOW quality, it still scans documents in GREAT quality in PDF form! I'm amazed by this machine. And it's taken a beating working for us for years now. I LOVE the pull-out keyboard on the bottom. I love that it's "hidden" and doesn't increase the footprint (unless you want it to). I love the simple interface - with no training I was able to figure out how to use it and change settings, etc. It's just a well-designed machine. If you're looking for a solid high-speed scanner to use in your office, this thing is a dream!

I tried installing this out of the box on a XP Pro (32bit) and two Win7 (64 bit) computers. The installation failed on all three. I tried another (slightly later version 2010) software from the HP web site. Same problem! Spent 2 hrs on this. I had an HP engineer dial in and he spent another 2 hrs on it. No luck. He now advises me to start deleting registry entries: "Please delete the registry files for Hp imaging devices (Hp scanjet or Hp printers ), make sure you are deleting only Hp scanjet or printers files. If the registry files are corrupted , it wont allow us to install the software so if we delete these files and then try installing , new registry files will be created and installation process will be completed.". I have had enough! Certainly for an expensive scanner its a load of rubbish!

I'm exceedingly happy with this, my 6th scanner purchase. I've come from a long line of almosts and nearly-theres with my previous scanners, at least when it comes to speed, capacity and ease of use. My first few scanners were the cheap, single-user type, not possessing ADFs for any real business use. Those were followed by an HP Scanjet 8290, which was fairly good, but suffered from too many ADF misfeeds. Next came a Fujitsu fi-5220C, which was faster and more competent at ADF work, but much less user-friendly, and more laborious in its required user input per scan.Now, at last, I can say I'm almost perfectly happy with a scanner. This N9120 is incredibly fast, creates high-quality images (especially with the included Kofax VRS, which hardly seems to slow things down at all), is terrifically easy to use (including HP's software interface), has adequately capacious in-and-out bins, and looks great as a physical object.Here are the minor quibbles (and they're not deal-breakers; I'd buy this again if I were in a situation that was appropriate): (1) It's quite loud for a scanner, requiring high-speed fans to cool its internal parts (think of the sound of a truly enormous copy machine in the copier room of a large place of business; that's what this sounds like). (2) It's enormous - be prepared to need far more desk/table space for it than you imagine. (3) It's incredibly heavy and unwieldy, so plan on having two people to unpack it and place it on a table. (4) If you forgo the excellence of Kofax and opt instead for sheer speed in a scan of a large number of pages, you can turn them sideways (that's how big this thing is) ----- BUT there can be a startling number of misfeeds when you do that. My very first scan of an 80-page stack that I inserted sideways resulted in 3 misfeeds - and it's somewhat hard to tell which of the last few pages were and were not successfully scanned. But going a little slower, inserting them in portrait fashion and using Kofax - no misfeeds at all. And finally, (5) It's size and weight mean that, just like any other serious office machine, you'll have to call for a service visit if it breaks down, rather than sending it in somewhere. And from browsing HP's site, it is truly expensive to have a tech come out to service it.

Good? It is very fast. It scans about 45 pages a minute.Bad? 1. When you push the button to scan, it can take up to a minute to start the scanning process. Total headache. 2. It jams somewhat frequently.

The software/driver won't store your changes to its default settings between scans. To begin with, the default settings of the software (through hp, or when you try to scan via import through photoshop) are set to overexposed tones/brightness and extreme saturation. Should you wish to have a scan with no applied settings so that you can make changes through photoshop or any other image manip.program, you have to go to each tab of the adjustments window and change the settings, so that your scan is not an over-exposed over-bright useless file. And if you want to scan multiple photos, you need to change the settings each time you scan a new file. Utterly useless and time consuming, all due to a driver/software poor design.

Bought this used to replace a dying scanner. When starting, it asks to set everything up all the time. The scans themselves are fine, but when trying to scan multiple pages (one at a time), this is annoying to have to reset the size and dpi EVERY TIME. Got the s/w from the HP website. Worse, I use IRFANVIEW for my imaging editing and this s/w will not let me choose that to edit.

The HP G4050 Scanner performed most poorly in every application of scanning with different computers. It would selectively scan only part of a photograph instead of the entire photograph. Same with documents. The HP software for this scanner did not perform up to my expectations. This scanner works better with the Microsoft XP scanning software. My older HP6300C is a much better scanner for dependable scanning. My next purchase will not be an HP.
