I got this to go with my HP desktop. It was a breeze to order it from Amazon and get the best price, and not hard to set up. It's even cheaper now than it was a few weeks ago (makes me wonder if they're coming out with a new model). In any case, it's a great monitor for the price. Be sure to install the software before connecting if you want to use the DVI cable.

My son enjoys using this monitor for gaming. He doesn't have any complaints. He says the that the color is nice, and that the resolution is very good.The item was shipped in the time frame expected. It was packaged appropriately.

This monitor is great for under $150 you won't believe the picture and size. This 23" monitor weighs less then my 19" LCD ViewSonic and looks a lot better. Very easy setup with minimal assembly.

Shipping came right away. This monitor is a perfect size for my small room. Not to big, but just big enough to watch movies on. the picture is very clear!! I would highly recommend

I chose a 4 rating because I received this monitor the way it is expected. I like it because there are no problems with the monitor. I would recommend this monitor to others that have a separate speaker.

Take off your glasses! When you get this monitor, you will finally have a screen big enough to see. There is nothing worse than straing to read print on a monitor. Even if you increase the font size, you will have to keep moving the page from left to right to see everything on a small screen. That's a bummer. So, just go ahead and loosen those wallet strings and buy this monitor. We have not have one problem with it! I highly recommend this product.

This monitor is terrible. I have one exactly like it purchased about 4 months ago that works great. This one has a bad circuit and has lines through the tv. My problem is that I threw away the box it came in figuring it would work like the other one. When I discovered the problem, I emailed/called the company and they replied they do not have a replacement and said they would have to charge me a re-stocking fee if the tv was to work properly. I gave up and will use it as is...very bad being I was out $170 with a defective unit. I use it as a secondary monitor for music production and it really doesn't have to be perfect...ugh! Lesson learned. ;-(

this monitor is discontinued in stores. Originally bought one at a best buy in town and a year later i have decided to go for a 2D surround setup ( three monitors) So i bought 2 more of these. nice monitor and bright.

I got a new computer for Christmas and decided to get a new monitor to go with it. I found this one on Amazon. The price was good and it had gotten good reviews from other buyers so I bought it. It's a lot better than my old monitor, wish I had bought this one a long time ago.

I got this monitor to serve as part of my dual monitor settings, but it does not have the back screw holes required to mount it on a dual monitor stand. I am very dissapointed that HP did not consider the possibility of someone setting up a dual monitor environment that required the monitors to be mounted. :(If anyone knows of a workaround, please let me know. I purchased the Dual Freestanding Monitor StandDual Freestanding Monitor Stand for Widescreen Monitors Up to 24" and really need that setting to work. :(Outside of that, the monitor works great, no issues so far.

Nice monitor for the price. Easy setup, good picture and easy controls. Better plastic and definitely more tilt options would have been nice. But again good product for the money.

this monitor works great! The picture needed a little bit of a adjusting out of the box so i set the brightness to 100, contrast to 48, custom color (R 255, G 214, B 238) and the picture is crystal clear. The only thing i would change on the monitor would be the addition of a height adjustment like some of the dells have on campus.

This monitor has excellent image quality and great size for the price. I highly recommend it if you are looking for one or two monitors to use together.

I ordered this monitor for a new HP computer that I ordered new. A dual monitor monitor setup dictated that I have an HD monitor. For the price it can't be beat, and the picture and colors are so clear! I would have to pay triple the price, at least, for better quality!

Does not have speakers so if you connect your Droid tablet you will not be able to listen to the sound. Investigating other options at this point. Thin and quality construction.

What a difference from my 19" monitor. Very bright and easier to read for those who need that like myself. Haven't figured out how to watch it in HD yet, still have to watch the videos that came with it. All I did was hook the thing up and go. I really am enjoying it though.

Great picture and very easy to set up. Doesn't have speakers, so for $20 I bought the Logitech z130 speakers. Perfect setup. I wish I had gone to bigger monitor years ago!

This monitor works great for my purposes. While with some reviews of different monitors, people complain about color accuracy and dead pixels, all I can say is this monitor appears accurate to me, and there are no dead pixels on the one I've got. The only odd thing about the monitor is that the controls are on the lower, bottom edge of the panel. So one reaches under and pushes up to turn it on. Whatever. I'm happy with the monitor so far.

Good monitor but wanted bigger screen. Clear and crisp picture worked well with new graphics card. I would recommend this product.

The HP 2311x Monitor is very good. I'm using it with a Macbook Pro with Retina Display and it is very clear and legible. Easy to hook up - the computer found it immediately and had no trouble setting it up.

Love the size the color and everything comes with everything you need I bought this with HP Pavilion p7-1235 Desktop (Glossy Black) and they fit so perfect together.
