I don't have many problems with this monitor, it's a nice size, good price, and the picture is very nice. Getting the colors correct takes turning the green down a little but that's really all it needs. My biggest issue with it is when you look at the screen from above or even with it the colors look a little washed out, but from below the colors are very nice. I don't notice it as much with games as i do with my desktop though. other than that its a great monitor.

well, you take it out of the box...great look!the very first impression?very light weight!then you tell yourself that technology has improved so much!you are wrong my friends!my older sony monitor with 17" screen weighs almost 3 times and is robust and sturdy.this doesn't mean that heavier is better, but at least it means that it's a quality product, not cheap plastic!but these are not the major problems,problems arise when you connect it to your pc.forget about the auto set up!picture is green and yellow!so you go to RGB to create your own colors,you have to decrease green (G) as much as you can but be careful not closing too much to magenta.when you're finished adjusting the RGB, still you have green on the bottom and magenta on top of your screen.sorry HP! I have to return it!and many thanks to Amazon!

I bought this monitor for two reasons-- I wanted to try the wide screen with Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I wanted to see if the LED backlighting had any effect on my viewing. It does make the picture a little too bright in my opinion.Which leads me to my one complaint about this monitor-- The adjustments for brightness, contrast, etc are difficult for me to adjust.Have had it less than two months, but so far it's great.

I cannot beleve the ratings this screen gets on the web. The Hanns-G I bought for my other computer is WAY better. On this HP the colors are off, the image is not sharp and keeps blinking bright and dimmer. This is the worst Monitor I have ever had. Maybe its the size but don't even try to show a photo or picture as a desktop, you will be disappointed. Buy something else.

This particular monitor has a wonderful level of detail. Also, it's very light and doesn't take up too much space. The settings were just right for me from the beginning, too. The only thing I wish I knew befor buying was that there are no speakers and there seems to be no jack for them, either (but I'm not a tech guru). Still awesome, but be aware of the lack of speakers.

i love this monitor i have had no issues with it. i have it hooked up vga to my tower and have an xbox 360 ran hdmi to the monitor as well and i have no complaints its well worth it and not too pricey im very satisfied with it.
