This is our third Fuji camera and it's the best of them all. We keep coming back to Fuji because of the easy interface and the image quality. My favorite thing about it, the glowing 'Z5' when you turn it on and after every shot, may be the least functional aspect, but it's the most telling. These small, quality & design tweaks add to the solid Fuji technology. And I love that there's finally some color available now, since the camera has become such a fashion accessory.
It does lack some clarity in nighttime and low-light shots, but I have yet to see and small digital camera that doesn't. And it does seem to prefer ISO 400 for everything, but again, you can override this.
For a camera that is quick out of the pocket and grabs the shot you were looking for, this is it. It's got all of the current technology a digital should have for a great price and good looks.

I bought this for my 15 yr old daughter. She loves it..it takes great pictures (very crisp and clear images) it's small enough to fit in a pocket or small purse. and very user friendly

my wife took it to peru and all the pictures came out prefect. close shots and far away.the price is {right}.

I did exhaustive--almost excessive--research before settling on the Fuji Finepix V10 and so far it has paid off. This may be the best priced, ultra-compact camera with a 3-inch screen on the market at this time! That's because the price has dropped as the camera's been out for a while now. That shouldn't deter you. I got mine at B&H. Beginners, you don't need more than 5 megapixels unless you're printing 11x14--or larger prints. Higher and higher megapixel cameras are merely a marketing ploy that misdirects unknowing customers. A 5.1 mp (as this model is) is more than enough for 8x10's--and even the shots I took with this camera where I reduced the megapixels to 3 produced lovely 4x6 prints. (I reduced the pixel size to get more images on that 16mb memory card it came with before installing my larger 256mb XD card.) I've had the camera for about a month and am extremely pleased. Some of my research involved comparing images on photography websites using test still-lifes and set-ups pitting this model against those of the top-rated and similar Canon models and I found negligible differences. This one had, at that time, a better price and I preferred it to Canon because of its design and larger screen. The only main Canon advantage I found was their closer Macro setting. I disagree with the reviewer who said it produced grainy shots. If you hold the camera steady and know how to focus with a digital camera it produces beautiful sharp prints, especially if you have enough light. You'll see the sharpness when you look at your prints. The camera's LCD screen can look a little pixelated and at times a little dim in the brightest outdoor sunlight. Then all you need to do is hold it at another angle to see the image you snapped. You will probably not find a better deal for such a large screen with a known brand at this price. Solid, uniquely retro, yet futuristic at the same time, this is an easy-to-use, chic, stylish little camera as well as a quality one with it's metal frame. This camera's price has really dropped down in the past month so it's a great deal and a good time to buy.

First of all, this thing is surprisingly rugged. For people that complain about LCDs breaking, I have worn this thing all over in a small bag on a belt loop.

Outdoors, it takes fantastic pictures. I travelled through France and the dynamic range and color are very good. I own a digital SLR but this thing is tiny and easy to carry.

Low light performance is dependent on playing with the settings which people looking for a point and shoot normally don't want to do. It still has the great Fuji option of offering a dual picture with natural light and then with flash. Results will vary with user's ability.

Finally, some people overlook the user interface. This is probably a personal preference but I like not having any tiny dials to turn. Everything is pushbutton.

I bought my daughter a Fuji Finepix Z5fd for Christmas, and she loves it. She was using it all day, and still does, all the time. She says it takes great pictures and videos, and I want to get one for myself. I recommend the Fuji Finepix Z5fd for anyone who is looking for a sleek, good-quality camera.

9MP clarity is wonderful.The optical zoom is ok.Night snaps are bad.But a photo in sunlight is very good.The camera is worth its price.

don't know much about photography-husband does and said camera was perfect for me. I have found it is quite sturdy as it has gone on a few trips and many elementary field trips with the whole family (including two kids who like to take some of their own pictures). Pictures are pretty good quality - keep in mind, this is not a professional camera at not a professional camera price. It is perfect for everyday pictures and in most lighting. haven't figured out all of the features but really like the size of the LCD screen which takes up the whole back of the camera. I did find I had to get a case immediately to avoid scratches and fingerprints on the huge screen. the only thing I would change is maybe finding a camera that is a little thinner. Although this one is considered ultra-compact, I might have spent a little more for the same camera that would fit easier into pockets. overall a five star for the price!

We are getting used to working with the Fugifilm S8000. It takes wonderful pictures and the zoom is fun to work with. I like the view finder and the stabilization features. The different settings are also easy to work with. The pictures download to the computer easily. I would recommend this camera to anyone who likes to take pictures.

I bought the finepix a920 to take pics on our paranormal vigils. 2 out of 10 pics were blurred for no reason as were some taken during the day! Nice enough camera but you should be able to trust it, not worry about which of your precious pics will be blurred. Returning it and getting cheaper point and click.

I had lot of doubts before buying this product. However after taking pictures and using this camera I found out that this is an impressive litlle pocket camera. I would recommend this product to everyone who wants to get crisp and beautiful pictures. It has very useful and easy to operate software. Excellent product.

This camera is ok up to about 10x zoom (250mm) after that the auto focus and image stabilazation start to recede and pics get blurry, not a bad camera but its goin back for a Canon, I think, and in addition IF you want a hotshoe flash it is hard to find one to work with this camera AND it will only work in the Manual, C1 or C2 modes, NOT IN AUTO, P, S1 or S2 so BE CAREFUL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FUJI SAYS CAMERAS AFTER 2006 DONT HAVE SOFTWARE TO OPERATE HOT SHOE FLASH!!! SO WHY IS IT ON THE CAMERA??? I TRIED FUJI< BUT CAMERA GOES BACK N I GET AN EOS!!!!!!

My son had it for about 15 mo. He's in the UK. The camera lens fails. When he gets back in 2 mo. we'll see if it can get fixed for less than it is worth. Warranty expires and the camera dies. Not what i would call a great product.

Truly unhappy.

I was skeptical but this near SLR packs a lot for its size and convenience with its very powerfull zoom and multiple modes for different types of scenes. And it takes great multiple high speed shots for action scenes that can capture 15frames burst. I would suggest for the newbie it is great on budget and features.

Only con is the scene dial broke off due to my after market case I purchased that was too small but this should be covered under warranty.

They have ABSOLUTELY the WORST CUSTOMER SERVCE!!! Save your self a lot of wasted phone time, DON'T BUY A FUJI CAMERA!!! My S7000 died outside of warranty. Sent it to them, they said a board burned out and would be $170 to fix. I ask why if their board burned out I should be held accountable, especially since they would not guarantee it wouldn't happen again, and warrantee repair only has a 3 month guarantee........

I got this camera last week when I saw that it was on sale for $130 -- original price was $300. I love it -- and I am a very picky customer when it comes to digital cameras.

I had shopped for an affordable yet high-quality point-and-shoot camera for several months before getting the Fujifilm Finepix V10 5.1M -- ever since my wife broke my trusty Sony CyberShot (which was a few years old) back in September.

However, at the camera store, the newer CyberShots didn't meet my expectations. And they were over priced. I actually ended up buying a Canon PowerShot SD600... but was so disappointed with it that I returned it a few days later (poor image quality and the "shake" warning when on constantly).

I took a chance on the Fujifilm Finepix and am glad I did. Fantastic quality photos whether snapped indoors or outdoors. Action photos come out great, too.

It's small enough to fit in your pocket and comes with a strap that allows you to wear it over your head like a camcorder. Speaking of camcorders, the Finepix shoots excellent videos, too.

It comes with a 16 MB memory card. I suggest ordering a 1- or 2-gig card when you get this camera. You'll need the extra space as the 16 MB card fills up with just 12 photos if you set the image quality at maximum.

The only two minor dings (and they are VERY minor) is that this camera uses the non-traditional "Xd Picture Card," and a rare version of the USB cable that connects to your computer (I don't know the technical name of it -- but I have several of USB cables that work with various devices and they won't work with the FinePix). So just keep that cable in a safe place and you'll have nothing to worry about.

Get this camera and you won't regret it.

I bought this camera for my dad as a birthday present to replace his broken Kodak. He has been using the "auto" setting for most of his photos, but nearly all have been of very poor quality. The indoor shots are grainy, with blurred, dark background, unrealistic colour, and just generally disappointing. He has tried several of the other settings, e.g. portrait, landscape etc., but even set to the highest resolution, they are nowhere near the quality of my Fuji M603 (4years old). I am thinking of selling the A920 on Ebay and buying Dad something else.......

My husband was a little nervous that I should order a camera in this fashion, however, we found the site to be very easy to negotiate, customer service to be extremely cooperative when we were asking questions, and the pictures that this camera produces witht the 18X zoom are even better than we expected. My husband just could not believe the quality of pics it produced. All in all we had a great experience with purchasing our second Fugi Fine pix camera!

I used to have an old 2MP Olympus digital camera which the batteries don't last at all etc.
For Christmas I asked for a new camera and this is what my parents brought me. It's a truly awesome camera and I have never had any problems. I wanted a really cheap camera becuase I am a Theme Park go'er and take loads of pictures of friends on rides etc... They turn out perfect even when the rides in motion. I compared them to the pictures on my Sony Ericsson K800i (3.2MP Phone) and I really can recognise the difference. Well done Fuji Film!

I absolutely LOVE the 18x zoom feature of this camera. I took a "photography spree" at the zoo with my friends to see what my camera can do. Let's just say that everyone gave up taking pictures because they couldn't zoom in as much as I could and take as good of quality pictures as I could. My friend's dad saw the pictures and videos I had taken at the zoo, and he ordered the camera RIGHT ON THE SPOT. THAT is how great this camera is. And the supermacro feature and videos are great quality. I also love how I can take pictures in a moving car (while zoomed in as much as I want) and still have the pictures look as if I was standing still the whole time. You will not regret A THING about this camera. As a photographer, I couldn't ask for more. Thank you FujiFilm!

After reading a few good reviews I was really looking forward to using this camera but the reality was very different. The autofocus perforned very poorly, red eye function didn't work at all and found on most shots the centre of the photo was in focus and all around was blurred (despite trying it on many different settings. Very dissapointed especially after the good reveiws but I have noticed that several bad reviews have now appeared since I bought the camera. Could it be a bad batch?! I am returning it for a refund

I bought this camera six months ago for my son's birthday and it has been nothing but trouble. We are inexperienced and new to digital cameras so we didn't know this wasn't how cameras work. First, it freezes after a couple of seconds or blacks out and can't be used for a minute or more. We started to hold the power button down the whole time to keep it functioning and then quickly slip your finger over to take a photo. What a pain.

Now it completely froze with a open lens and reads
Focus error on the LCD> Too late to get a refund and can't figure out how to get a replacement through the online return center. Just kicks it back to me saying too late for 30 full refund.

I will never order electronic's online because now I am stuck with an obviously defective camera and out 150.00 with no recourse.

This sucks!
