перед покупкой прозвонил многих продавцов ни кото конкретно про фотопечать ни сказал
в итернете не было практически...

Аппарат выше всяких похвал, качество печати изумительное, А3 без полей - фотки просто завораживают, шустро печатает А4

Все этот гаджет должен делать это впитать внутреннего чернил, которым он безусловно является. Однако, когда он "полный" он останавливает свой принтер из операционной, пока его не заменили. А "полная" это не так. Масса абсорбирующего материала используется по краям, хотя в центре насыщен. Никакие уговоры бы убедить принтер в противном случае.

Отличная быстрая доставка, который был необходим, так как не в состоянии печатать, пока я не заменил. Конкурентоспособным ценам. Рекомендую.

в блоке был указан для Epson 3880 и проверка фонда заявил, что может не соответствовать моим принтером. Recieved the printer several days ago. Due to previous reviews setup was easy. IE: If your going to go wireless do your self a favor and do not use a USB cable. It seems once you connect the printer via the USB it gets assigned a port and you will have to delete the printer from your printer devices and start over. Instead use the control panel on the printer. Tested all functions including FAX and all as avertized. So far so good. Sure beats the dell (Lexmarks) I had in the past and the price was great on Amazon. Considering how many printers I've gone through, that's saying a lot. Let's go through the various pieces and I'll show you why I like it so much....Print Quality - It's rather trite, but the number one job of a printer is to print. The print quality of the Artisan 837 is outstanding. Using decent quality paper, the output is sharp and clear. Small point type is very readable and fine lines are clearly defined. Normal single-sided printing is very fast. Two-sided printing is considerably slower, as the printer waits for the ink to dry before printing the second side.Photo Printing - The Artisan 837 adds two more color cartridges to the standard cyan, magenta, yellow and black mix. By including a light cyan and light magenta cartridge, it's possible to produce prints with subtle shades and smoother color gradation. More expensive, dedicated photo printers (e.g. Epson R1900 or R2880, Canon PRO9000MkII) add in still more ink colors and can produce larger prints, but this printer produces excellent prints for all but the most discerning user. There is one application where I wouldn't recommend this printer - very high quality black and white photo printing. If you plan on producing high resolution B/W prints, you should look at the Epson R2880 or the Canon Pro9500MkII. Those units have light black and other cartridges designed specifically for that application. Outside that, though, prints from the Artisan 837 are truly stunning. Like all photo printers, the print quality depends on the quality of the original photo, the paper stock and the print speed. The advertised 10 second 4x6" print speed is for premium glossy photo paper in draft mode, but even that produces a pretty good print.)Paper Tray - If you're tired of pulling the paper tray and adjusting the guides every time you want to print a photograph, the Artisan 837 has a solution - the paper tray simultaneously holds both photo and regular paper in two different sections. At my house, I'm keeping 4x6 photo paper loaded in the top section, while the bottom holds standard printer paper...the printer automatically selects the correct paper depending on what's being printed. The downside of this arrangement is that the tray has a fairly small capacity, only holding 120 pages of normal 20lb paper.CD/DVD Printing - I don't use too many CDs and DVDs anymore, but when I did, I used a Black Sharpie marker to label my disks. (Except when I was feeling ambitious and had time to burn. Then I used LightScribe disks) No more. The Artisan 810 has an integrated tray to feed printable CD's into the printer. Just about anything that you can think of - Illustrations, photos and/or text - can be directly printed onto the disk's surface. Even if what you're printing is just a list of file names, it's better than writing them out by hand. One of the included software programs formats text and pictures to fit on the CD's surface. It's nothing fancy, but it works.Scanning - Direct to PC or USB - Buttons on the touch screen display allow you to select the destination of a scanned document. The scanned image can be sent to any computer that has the Epson drivers installed. The file can be saved in .jpg or PDF format. OCR software (ABBYY FineReader) is included in the software package to convert scanned documents into editable text. Like most all-in-one units, the scanner only scans one side of the page.Document Feeder - Swinging the feeder input tray closed also lifts the feeder's output tray to make a smooth top...cosmetically it's nice, but more importantly, it also reduces the chances of paperclips and other office debris falling inside. I've copied a 30 page document without a problem...the maximum thickness of the paper stack is spec'ed at 3mm, or roughly 1/8"Faxing - It works. Outside of color faxing, which isn't really new, there's nothing too exciting here...punch in the number, hit the button and off it goes. You can store far more numbers than you're likely to ever need in a speed dial directory. Though, I must admit to have a fondness for Epson printers since they were the ONLY choice in home printing when I started playing with computers 30+ years ago. (Anyone out there remember the Epson RX-80?)HP, Cannon and Lexmark's mid-level products were above the price target and the lower level products lacked one or more features. Epson's came close, but still fell short. I decided to look at mid-level refurbs (I love refurbs) to see if I could score a deal.I noticed the Artisan 837 was showing as a clearance item on Epson's website. A quick check showed that it had solid reviews, did everything we wanted and was priced even lower on Amazon with free shipping. As a bonus it has separate color cartridges. I'd never had a printer with separate color cartridges, but this seemed like a more cost effective solution.Near as I can tell, the 837 Artisan was Epson's top of the line home printer until 2012 when the Artisan line was retired in favor of the Expressions line and lower end of the Work Force line.Features---------The Artisan 837 does it all. Prints Documents, Prints Photos (from a computer or via a media card port), Faxes, Scans, is Network Capable, and Prints CDs/DVDs via a separate tray. Also has separate trays for photo paper and normal, letter sized paper.It can be hooked up to your PC via a USB cable, which is not included. It can also be connected to your network via a standard Cat 5 cable.This printer does far more than we needed an I would not have paid for all of these features...most notably printing photos and CDs/DVDs...but I am happy to have them.Set Up-------Set up was straight forward enough. The printer was well packaged and unpacked easily. The ink cartridges (comes with a standard black and high capacity ones for the other 5 colors) were easy to install. The only hiccup and warning is about the paper tray. I was not able to add the printer to my network using my routers WPS One Button Setup. I had to plug in my password manual. No big deal. None of my three PCs (all Win 7) had issues finding and installing the printer.Cautionary Tale: The printer is designed to handle multiple paper sizes and the lower portion of the paper tray has moveable guides to support those paper sizes. Though, the parts appear pretty solid...even the small guides in the paper cartridge.Cautionary Tale: It is bigger than expected. I never imagined that a new printer would be larger than my old HP. Check Epson's side for footprint requirements if you've got a really small space.These two items cost is ? a star.Final Thoughts---------------The Artisan 837 feels solid and was pretty easy to set up. The features and price make this an excellent buy. Don't hesitate.Will update this once we've put some miles on it.Update 1 20 Jan 2013Spent a portion of yesterday trouble shooting the feature allowing you to scan from the printer to a computer on your network. After spinning my wheels a bit (trust zones, etc.), I finally decided to put my personal firewall (ESET Smart Security v5) into learning mode. Please note this is a firewall issue and NOT a printer issue. It is also a good lesson learned for techies that don't know the ins and outs of home firewalls.

I researched around for this printer and was impressed with some of the reviews that said this was a good photo printer, and liked the idea of the other features. When I got the printer home I started to notice little things that really annoyed me.I liked the idea of duplex printing and the separate photo tray, I also like the independent ink cartridges (as long as it wasn't going to guzzle the ink)At this point I would like to mention that I purchased this product at an OfficeMax and received a printer that was defective (defective print head) The print head is no excuse for bad printer design and software design.As for the printer itself...When I got the printer out of the box it seemed huge, I was expecting from the specifications that it would be large but actually seeing it there was another thing. Part of the problem is that the auto-duplexer adds almost 3 inches to the back of the printer.The paper tray is one unit, the photo tray moves on top of the letter paper tray. When switching the paper the printer moves the tray for you. It seems sturdy enough and isn't hard to remove. Opening and closing the doors I felt that the part of the printer that opens for the ink cartridges was sturdy. Despite the printers overall size, I did not fell like there was any wasted space inside of the printer. Opening up the scanning bed was easy but in order for the tray to stay up hands-free the tray has to be at a 90 degree angle to the bed. The scanning bed looked very professional, very sturdy and well suited to scanning the top of. To my surprise the paper being scanned goes in the upper left corner instead of in the lower right as I was used to for my old printer. The ADF looks and feels flimsy (tray is made of very thin plastic); luckily I wouldn't have used it much, but if i did I don't think it would have held up.The setup...The setup was very easy, there was a lot of tape to take off and the single power cord connected easily. The ink was easy to install, the ink cartridges look very ordinary (my mom's brother has these fancy cartridges that I have a hard time bringing my self to throw away) The start up took an eternity, and I am not exaggerating, a LONG time.I liked the fact that you could change wireless network settings on the printer and that you did not have to connect the printer via USB to get the network setup. (Two places where my last one fell short.The software...The software is old. I think that my last EPSON that bit the dust in 2008 had the same software. When you print a little window pops up that is a windows 95 style printing status box. After I had returned the printer I uninstalled the software and it left a lot of garbage that I had to remove. With all the money they are making on ink the least they could do is write some decent software.The software on board the printer is better (actually really nice and easy to use) but the buttons are all touch buttons and are not very responsive and often require two or three presses.Printing...The printer driver is a bit archaic but it gets the job done. I was sad to find that the printer can only duplex letter paper, and that like my last printer can only do border-less printing on EPSON premium papers. The driver has some advanced settings but has no apparent way to save the settings.When the printer prints the front panel opens all on its own, the extended tray doesn't come out though which means that for where I had the printer if you didn't pull out the extended tray for the paper to set on it would go fling on to the floor.Print Quality Problems...I had problems with black not being dark enough and the printer leaving lines in the print, OfficeMax said it was a defective print head.Overall I was very unimpressed with this printer, I got it for printing high quality documents and it did not live up to my expectations or even to the standards of my old printer. There are some parts of the printer and software that I did not expect and did not like. Bottom Line this product lacks the value that I was expecting. I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend unless the price drops to about $110 dollars which I believe would be more inline with the printer's quality.

I have owned and/or reviewed over 5 different kinds of printers/printer-scanners/all-in-ones and this one, BY FAR, has been the most worthless piece of equipment I have ever had the displeasure of owning. It weighs a metric ton, the paper tray alone is like a Rube Goldberg nightmare, it doesn't recognize it's OWN ink carts and tech support is horrendous.
