Put this in a 2009 MacBook Pro and it just worked, gave me the zip I was looking for and the reliability I know comes with the Corsair name. I would recommend taking the stickers off though it made installation finicky.

This product is great and super easy to install---I have never opened up my MacBook pro and I got it opened and the ram installed and closed up in 15 minutes or so. It did speed up my Macbook Pro and is much cheaper then going directly to Apple. Make sure to get a Macbook screw driver kit otherwise you won't be able to install the RAM.

5 stars because this RAM simply fit and booted in my 2010 Macbook Pro without any issue. You always fear that you'll get that one bad stick of RAM in the batch, but no problems here.

Works fine in White, Mid-2010, Macbook, 2.4 Ghz, Intel Core 2 Duo. Apps like iPhoto work much faster. Good price.

Although I was afraid of this RAM that it might cause my mac (MacBook Pro) to hang or something like what happened with other RAM, but it worked great, I didn't face any problem with it.

I purchased the Corsair Apple 8 GB Dual Channel Kit based on reviews on Amazon and a couple videos I saw on YouTube for my MacBook Pro. Very easy install but you'll need a good screwdriver to remove the screws. SEE: E-Flite Screwdriver, #00 Phillips sold by by E-flite here on Amazon. Check the reviews. This upgrade made a HUGE difference in the performance of my laptop with applications like Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop and others. Purchase with confidence.

Really happy i got this! im using a macbook 7 2010 i believe. im not a hardcore gamer but when i do play i need the ram! this worked immediatly with no effort and registered as soon as i booted my computer back up. Get this product if you want 8gigs of magic!

Words can't describe how easy this item was to install!I have a late '09 Macbook, and while Apple supports 4Gyou can install 8GB into it! Popped these in to my Macbookand it booted up just fine! Extremely useful in helping withall the design and video editing I have going on! Fast shipper aswell! Don't miss out on this excellent item!

It's just a memory chip. It was reasonably priced. It fit perfectly. It works exactly as it is supposed to. My 27" iMac can now run more programs at once, even real memory hogs. Eventually I will add another, but just populating three of the four slots hasn't caused any perceptible problems.

I got too late to reading the other reviews where guys said that this memory won't work with Mac Mini. If I've read them in time I would've ordered a different memory. However, the memory arrived, so I said let's try it. So in 10 minutes or so it was installed in my Mac Mini (mid-2010 MC270LL/A), and I pressed the 'on' button. It turned on all right, and I was able to see 8GB of memory in System Profiler. So I said, let's wait for the problems. Well, it's been two months already and I've seen absolutely none. Actually I forgot that I was expecting them! My Mini is faster than it has ever been, and everything works great.So if you look to upgrade your Mac Mini you should know that some guys have had some problems in the beginning, but it seems like Corsair have finally got their stuff right, so you can buy this memory without worrying.

The memory ran hot when I first installed it in the MacBook Pro and after a couple of days the Mac wouldn't run. I put the original memory in and the Mac came back to life. Returning the memory to Amazon was easy and they quickly credited the refund to my credit card. I'd give Amazon 5 stars for handling the return and I'd give 1 star to the Corsair memory.I previously purchased Corsair Apple 8 GB memory for a newer MacBook Pro from Amazon and have had no problems with it, so I'd probably try Corsair memory again.

Hi all,I was initially excited about upgrading my Macbook pro to 8GB ram .. There were no issues for a couple of weeks. After that while watching netflix movie, the system would get stuck .. It would freeze.. I had to restart my machine 20 times in a single day .. Finally when I called Apple Care, they suggested that I remove the RAM as it could be defective ... Once I switched back to the original Apple RAM, things went back to normal ... I can only talk for my laptop which is a macbook pro .. If you have a macbook pro.. it may not work with it ... So wouldn't really recommend this ..
