Купил 2 планки данной оперативы. На упаковке была пометка что совместима с Mac и Apple устройствами. На столе выдачи проверили модель — все сошлось. После установки в ноут 7 не захотела загружаться.

Добавил сию плашку в этот ноут http://www.citilink.ru/catalog/computers_and_notebooks/notebooks/665927/ — где уже есть 2 гига (даже не знаю какой там производитель). Добавил еще 4 с пол пинка. Просто установил, завелось без лишних вопросов. Итого в ноуте 6 гиг, работают шикарно.

My MacBook was getting slower by the day which in fact I started with 4GB (2x2). After upgrading my OS gradually over the years from Leopard to Snow Leopard to Lion and now Mountain Lion my MacBook has been noticeably getting hanged frequently, the cursor went into spinball and I wondered why, which previously I have no issues on this.Then, I installed an app, called FreeMemory, which can free up some memory space. It helped initially and I can see how the system was eating up the memory very quickly and I have to frequently free up the memory space, and I was getting frustrated when this happened every time. So I thought the best way is to upgrade my MacBook RAMs.So I searched around on popular online shopping websites such as eBay, Amazon and our local websites. By the way I am from Singapore, so the shipping cost was also a factor to consider when I made my purchase. I came across 3 reputable brands Kingston, Crucial and Corsair all from Amazon and also from eBay merchants. I did my due diligence by reading reviews and decided to settle for Corsair over the other brands. Of course there are pros and cons comments given by buyers.The decision factor for me to choose Corsair from Amazon was Corsair have more positive reviews and also Amazon gave free shipping to my US courier agent that shipped this item to Singapore which saved my shipping cost! Amazon does not provide direct shipping to Singapore for this item. I received the merchandise at much faster delivery time (13 days) than if I were to buy from eBay merchants (usually it took 21 to 30 days). I am a regular buyer from eBay.Once I received, it was a breeze to install the RAM. There are video tutorials on YouTube for my MacBook so it made installing pretty easy. I'm not sure why some reviews stated that the RAMs are difficult to be removed from the package. As indicated on the package, you just need to cut on the dotted line.After installing the RAM (make sure that the RAMs sit properly in the slot), my MacBook now is zipping very fast! From the FreeMemory app status, it shows that my MacBook is using more than 5GB of RAM! In fact, I opened between 3-4 applications at a time.So far it has been a week, and there are no issues. I am very happy for now as my MacBook is working perfectly fine. What made me even happier is that I did not waste my 4GB RAM which I took out. I transferred the RAMs to my Mac Mini (Mid 2010) which only have 2GB of RAM. Now both computers are operating faster!

I purchased this 8GB kit to upgrade the 4GB of RAM that came with my mid-2010 model MacBook Pro. I settled on the Corsair after reading all sorts of reviews online regarding brands. Basically, "RAM is RAM" was the overwhelming sentiment I got from all the research. That in mind, the price was great (cheapest here on Amazon), it was "Mac tested," and I'm extremely happy with my decision.Using the detailed instructions provided on Apple's website for upgrading RAM, I was able to install and start using my computer again in less than 10 minutes. Basically, removed the bottom, popped out the old RAM, plugged in the new RAM, fired up the computer, and voil?. I should point out that, while I have upgraded RAM on previous PC once before, I'm definitely not a pro.The process was painless, and the difference was immediately noticeable. Prior to the upgrade, having multiple programs open (Mail + Power Point + Safari +....) became increasingly sluggish and difficult. After the upgrade, I'm reminded of that fresh shiny new machine I unpacked back in 2010. Having used it over a week now, I can report that I've had no problems or unexpected glitches. If I do, I'll be sure to come back and report it. I'm extremely happy with the upgrade and recommend upgrading with this kit without reservation.Pros: Cheap way to make your computer feel like new again.Cons: None come to mind.This kit is good if Apple recommends the following:2 memory slotsMaximum memory: 8 GB or moreSpecifications: Double Data Rate Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (DDR3) format67.6mm x 30mm (1.18 inch)2 GB or 4 GB204-pinPC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHz type RAMThey also recommend that you fill both memory slots, and install equal sized memory modules in each slot. This kit does the job.

I purchased this RAM kit to upgrade my Mid-2010 Unibody MacBook Pro from 4GB to 8GB RAM. The Mid-2010 Macbook Pro can only handle up to 8GB DDR3 1066 MHz RAM. Using anything faster or larger than this is a waste of money and can cause major errors or system failure, so Corsair's kit is perfect.The Corsair kit worked flawlessly. Installation is very, very easy. Just unscrew the back panel, pop out the old RAM and snap the Corsair modules into place. iFixit.com and Apple's online support have great step-by-step guides for doing this.(NOTE: You will need a Phillips #00 Screwdriver to take off the back panel of the MacBook Pro. I didn't have a screwdriver that fit perfectly, and rather than risk stripping the heads I got a mini screwdriver pack at Lowe's for about $10.)The whole process is plug-and-play. After inserting the new RAM modules the computer booted up with no issues, and my Mac is now reading that it has 8GB of RAM available.Since installing the kit there has been a noticeable improvement in my Mac's performance. Memory hungry applications like Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro run much faster. Multitasking is also much smoother. I can now run multiple applications and have multiple browser windows open at once without issue.-----------In the end, I would highly recommend Corsair's 8GB RAM kit. It's well worth the $60 price tag. Especially if you're looking to get a little more performance out of an aging Mac.

I have had honorable experiences with upgrading Mac memory. A few years ago I ordered new memory from crucial.com for a 20" imac and upgraded the OS to snow leopard all at the same time. The imac just kept freezing and I thought it was everything else except for the memory, I bought a new hard drive and that wasn't the problem either. I ended up re-installed leopard and never thought about upgraded until recently because I had to. Another $200.00 in repair charges later, It turned out to be bad memory and now I run lion (still freezes every now and then, but not often). I have been afraid to upgrade memory on my 2009 macbook pro but Its time I have to (I am running new programs that need more memory). When they arrived they had the Mac logo all over them which made me feel a lot better. Installation took 2 minutes and after a memory test I was off and running. VERY EASY! I have been running Pro-Toos on it and have had no problems, no freezing or no crashes. Now I am less freaked out about upgrading memory.

I have not had these installed for very long, but from the short time I have had them in my Mid-2009 Macbook Pro 15 inch I have seen increased response time between opening applications, switching applications, a decreased lag time when I have many applications open, and almost no more "spinning wheel of death" at all. Before I had the standard 4 gb of RAM (2, 2 gb sticks) and they had gotten so slow I could barely switch applications without my computer freezing up on me. Now, I have very little if any lag and i have plenty of memory that is not used. My only complaint is that they can be a little tough to get in. Not so tough that anyone will really struggle, but enough that you have to work with it a little bit to get them to go in. All in all, they were a great addition that I just wish I had done sooner.Pros: Increased response time between opening and switching applications, decreased lag time with many applications open, almost zero "spinning wheels of death", and fairly inexpensiveCons: Can be a little tough to get in, especially if you do not have much experience with computer hardware as you may fear you could break them (If you are not super rough with them, you can push on them without fear of breaking)
