I saw this product on OSXDaily and was pretty happy, because up until now 8Gb of RAM was rather expensive. This was a great price, and a fairly simple install into a MBP with unibody frame.

I purchased these for my MacBook Pro (late 2010) and have had no issues at all. Running Windows 7 via Parallels 6.0 in Snow Leopard, things have sped up and I no longer get the delays I used to.

Seeing claims it works for latest mac mini, which I have. After close inspection and interaction with Corsair tech support, no - at least not for the mac mini 2.4 gz core two duo. Hit and miss, inconvenient way to go about selling to the public. Experimentation in the field. I've seen worse, however so I won't rate it a one even though it cannot work for me.

You know how when you click on an icon and it will bounce, before it loads? Yeah, mine don't anymore. Upgrading from 4GB to 8GB is glorious! Do it, you won't regret it.

Awesome product. Much cheaper than upgrading the ram through apple. My 2011 MacBook Pro 15" immediately recognized the ram and its just great.

Mid-2009 MacBook Pro was showing its age - sluggish a lot of the time and absolutely chugging on things like YouTube. That was with the factory-installed 2GB RAM. Upgraded to 8GB and everything's running like a charm. Should have done this long ago!

I've been looking into upgrading my MacBook Pro from 4GB to 8GB for some time. When I saw a deal on this, it was a no-brainer. When it arrived, I removed the existing memory from my laptop and replaced it with the Corsair, turned on the computer and it worked. Simple as that.
