They move air like no tomorrow. The blue light the fans make isn't that bright, which is fine with me. They keep everything cool.

my internal sensors show it consistently over 2000rpm since I installed it a month ago, the leds are super bright and make a neat glow over the internals, now I can see all the dust.

This fan has worked great to cool a cabinet for my HTPC. It is quiet and seems to be of high quality. This is the second type of fan like this that I have tried and I am happy with this one.

Works great, but not silent as advertised. You can hear it, more then i hear the cpu fan or the other 2 fans i put in beside this one. Good price, but there maybe better ones out there.

these fans are extremely poor i would suggest anybody to buy elsewhere the screws that come with these fans seem too big and it sounds like the plastic is cracking when u screw them in and they are very difficult to screw in i stripped one of the screws cause i had to use a drill to get them screwed in and it shouldnt of took nothing but a simple screw driver but it didnt work out that way i even have a coolermaster case so this issue really shouldnt have happened i will never purchase another one of these fans again

Put it as a second fan for my Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler. Temps went down by a few degrees, and the fan is a very good price. Does what I wanted it to do.

Quite silent fan at full speed 2000. Obviously you can still hear the air but it is best if used with a potentiometer or fan speed regulator. Very different light compared to other fans like Thermaltake

This fan operates at a maximum speed of 2000 rpm which allows for good cooling performance and quiet operation. Make sure your case will hold a 120mm fan.

These are fast fans, over 2000RPM, and pump a lot of air. However, they're pretty loud, and the LED strips are BRIGHT. I bought them since I thought they would look neat, but in the end I ended up replacing them with non-LED versions. They were just too bright, constantly shining at the side of my eye, distracting me from whatever was on my screen. If you don't care you'll love them, otherwise mind the intensity.

I couldn't ask for more. It's not exactly whisper quiet, but it does provide good movement of air flow. I placed this fan on the front cover of a NZXT M59 Classic Series ATX Mid Tower interior chassis M59-001BK (Black). With the front cover on top of this fan, I could barely hear anything.If you put your ears really close to this fan, then you'll hear some audible fan noise. Otherwise, it stays quiet.Airflow is very good. This fan has the right balance and doesn't try to overwork. I place this fan on the front over of my case so that the air is pulled into the case. This fan certainly does a good job in moving air.If you're looking for a bare, simple, quiet Non-LED 120mm fan, this is perfect. Buy with confidence!

The fan is nearly silent which is a very nice plus but the issue that I had with the fan is that the mounting screw holes for the fan had not been tapped before hand so it made some of the install difficult considering you had to self tap with the provided screws and they did not work very well as self tapping screws and at points I was worried about breaking the fan because of the pressure I needed to tap the screw points but for the price everything worked out well.

These fans are ok and will do the job. They do feel pretty flimsy not anywhere near the quality or brightness of the Thermal take fans I bought at the same time. For an extra buck I would go with the Thermal Takes every time. I bought three of the cooler masters fans and two thermal takes. One of the cooler master fans after a week started slowing down stopping and then I would get a fan alarm and it would start back up. I swapped which fan was plugged in where and the same fan kept slowing and dropping. Probably manufacture defect, like I said they just feel that high of quality, also the fan lead is silver and about 8~10" inches long. The thermal take leads were almost 18~24" inches long and were concealed in a black plastic wire mesh.

These fans aren't supposed to be the quietest or the most powerful.They are a nice middle ground. They don't generate ridiculous amounts of noise, while still delivering a very good air flow to your case.Seems a lot of people in these reviews don't understand what they bought - Low Dbm to High CFM ratio, which means you get good airflow with less noise.The only other fans that are better than these (that I know of) in that regard are Noctua fans, which are much more expensive.Keep in mind, most super quiet fans hardly move ANY air.The LED lights are just icing, and they look nice.And you cant beat Amazon's two day shipping with Prime.

I have worked on computers since before the first PCs were available, so I am leery of products that look good, but can't do the work. A friend recommended this fan because he liked the look - kinda Sci-Fi. I have worked on far too much that looked great, but didn't do the job at all well. I bought 2 and was somewhat less leery when I saw the 8-bladed fans with a good solid pitch. I was hoping the 2 would knock my CPU temp down 10 degrees C. They have more than doubled that - these fans are almost silent, but with a good high speed and excellent air moving characteristics. If you need excellent cooling fans, I strongly recommend you get these fans.

I bulid a new system this days. I bought a new case from Cooler master. The sales person recommend this fan to me. But i purchase it online. This save me 1 dollars(Not that much). It works well so far. The light is so cool. But i do not think this is the selling point. That's because you it is mounted inside the case. Cooler master should highlight the cooling performance. That's the key point.

To start, the fan came in a nice packaging and all the stuff it says. I plugged it in at first and it had minimum noise and blew a significant more air then the fans in my case. Either people have a bad fan, or they are exaggerating, this fan puts off very little noise, and did not raise the sound of my computer.On to the installation.All I have to say is, what the heck Cooler Master, you make a great product but ruin it by what you give us. It took me 2.5 hours to install the fan, mostly because I had trouble finding a screw (at first) but then had to drill a hole and use a nut and bolt. They DO NOT EVEN THREAD THE FAN MOLDING! This caused me to attempt to screw in each screw using a ton of force, ending up stripping two of them. I eventually got my drill and drilled a slightly bigger hole and used a nut and bolt to clamp it too my case. The screws they give are small and do not work very well. I advise you to have nuts, bolts, and a drill to install these.Tl;Dr: Fan it's self is good, the installation is crappy. Make sure you nuts, bolts, and a drill (unless you have a threaded fan mount) to install this fan.I give this a 2.5/5 but a 3 on Amazon do to lack of a .5 :)Post experience: The extra air flow in my case easily cooled my gcard 10~ *C

I put this into a COOLER MASTER Elite 430 RC-430-KWN1 Black Steel/Plastic Computer Case on the side panel to suck in cool air. I wouldn't say it's "exactly" needed (at the moment) compared to a rear chassis fan, but it did lower my CPU/mobo temp by about 3-4 degrees Celsius, which is currently idle at 30C CPU/29C mobo with the fan (34ish w/o).Some reviews say it isn't too luminescent, but I particularly like that. The fan I placed in this case is on a transparent side window, and I can see the cool blue LEDs just fine without it lighting up my room and only the adjacent area around it. I can always add some cold-cathodes if I wanted to go that route, in respect to christmas tree homage. The fan works as intended, and you can change its speed with your mobo controls.I'd suggest this fan if you have a window bay into your tower with a 120mm fan option. It most likely wont give much benefit to the blue LED bonus if you have a mostly opaque grill in front of it. I'm thinking of getting another one of my rear tower spot to blow out the heat, but I'll wait till summer to see if it's really needed. The price can't be beat for a fan like this.

Well i didnt use this fan on a computer so take the review as you wish. I used this fan to keep my amp cool in my car. so far its doing a good job, but ive only used it a couple days. Just from the quick test run I did it seemed to keep the amp cooler. Main reason im writing this review is because one of the yellow wires was split in the plug, the insulation was split open exposing wires. I only needed the ground and hot wire so it didnt matter to me. Otherwise fan works great.

This fan has been running continuously in my computer for over a week now, and so far, it's doing the job. While waiting for the fan to arrive, I ran the computer without the front case fan. When I installed this new fan, I could hardly tell the difference in sound level.The LEDs aren't as bright as on the original fan, which I actually like. It looks pleasant without being overbearing.The location of the fan means that it primarily cools my hard drives. The system HD is now running 34C, and the data drive is running 31C. Since 30C is the lower limit of operational HD temperature, this fan is almost keeping things too cool! I'll probably have to slow it down. Great product!

Installed this fan at the front of my case to blow air into it. I also have a fan in the back and one on the side to blow air out. Helps keep my CPU and video card under 50 degrees celcius even during heavy gaming. The LED's are not on the fan blade itself and do not rotate. They aren't very bright either which is no problem to me because I do not want them to be bothering me while I sleep at night. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

this product is loud. much louder comparing to another 120mm case fan I also bought (Rosewill RFA-120-BL 120mm 4 Blue LEDs LED Case Fan).The thing is, you cannot open this fan up and apply additional oil. I would expect this fan to go much louder in about a year, at which point I will need to buy new fans.-----update, this fan is extremely loud after about 20 days of use. No way to apply machine oil to quiet it down, I will either replace them or find some sort of connector to make them spin at minimum speed.

I purchased 3 different colors of this Cooler Master 120mm Fan from Fry's Electronics and the green one wobbles due to unbalanced fan blades, causing noise and vibration. I doubt whether it has anything to do with the color I chose; I assume that just some of the blades are not molded properly (maybe that's why there is a rebate).Vibration can be a serious issue if the fan is close to disk drives (can cause disk drive head positioning errors).Also note that the fan blades do not light up very much, and the fan is not "silent" as the description would have you believe.

Guess I got a bad one. This fan started rattling after running just a few minutes. Back it goes.Also I don't know why Cooler Master recommends this for a replacement fan for the Hyper 212 CPU cooler. If you want an exact replacement you need a 4-pin, PWM fan. Not this one. So not only did I get a bad fan, I got the wrong one based off their suggestion. A double time waster.
