Хорошо

The selling points for this fan that do work are the airflow (CFM) and static pressure (mmH20). But I feel that the noise level is not nearly as quiet as they stated. I own other 120mm fans in the same noise category (silent), such as the Cooler Master 120mm Silent Case Fan 4-in-1 Value Pack - (R4-S2S-124K-GP) and Magma 12CM Fan Magma Component Twister Bearing Detach Blade, and they are both MUCH quieter than the CoolerMaster Sickleflow.-= Airflow =-Compared to the Enermax Magma with the same 69 CFM rating, the Sickleflow feels a little bit stronger. Take this is with a grain of salt, since directional airflow will feel stronger than dispersed airflow at the same volumetric displacement rate. I have a feeling that the "sickle" airblade design pushes air differently. Nevertheless, ~70 CFM is a lot of dynamic air being pushed (good for placing on the computer case vents).-= Static Pressure =-I did a crude, qualitative test at home to measure how well the fan pushes stagnent air. I laid a sheet of paper (stabilized at one end) on top of the fan, which is attached to the ceiling of my PC case facing upwards. A dust filter is placed behind the fan to create drag/resistence. Turned on the fan and watched how high the sheet of paper elevated from the air flow pressure. I did the same test to all my fans and the CoolerMaster Sickleflow clearly beat them all. I did another qualitative test, this time attaching it to the cooling radiator of my Corsair H50 and feeling how much are comes out the other end. Same outstanding static pressure result (good for attaching to CPU coolers).-= Noise =-As mentioned before, the 19 decibel rating is much too low for this fan running at 100%. Keep in mind that noise can be created by other sources directly related, by not directly from, the fan. When placed as an "Intake" fan on a PC case, the vent grill will cause lots of turbulence depending on how restrictive and how close it is to the fan blades. For some reason, using it as an "Exhaust" fan on the same vent will sound quieter. The same results applies to CPU heatsinks and cooling radiators. Another source of noise is vibration. Unless the fan assembly is built to strict hard drive platter tolerances, there will be margin for high-frquency ocsillation that can transfer to mating structure. Using those rubber mounts such as Silenx IXAFM20 Silicone Dampening Fan Mounts - 20 can help this issue.-= Design =-Fairly nice aesthetic look - black frame with slightly translucent, dark grey fan blades. 3 pin power connector with nice soft, clear housing on the 12-inch long wire. A detachable 3-pin to 4-pin molex is provided. The blades have nothing special about the surface texture, just the overall shape.Overall, if you are leaning a tad more on the cooling performance rather than noise performance, then these come highly recommended. Otherwise, you have more options available if silence is golden.

Ужасно

These fans are more like blowers and pretty good at removing unwanted heat from your computer case.BUT bear in mind that they are NOT silent in any sense of the word. (Unless you happen to have an auditory problem.)19 dB or whatever sound pressure scale with whatever measuring distance they decided to use to claim "silent" as a quality to describe these fans is misleading and unbecoming from a respected brand like Cooler Master. My Thermaltake eSports case with an AM3 CPU came along with a truly quiet and effective 120 mm fan that I relocated to blow air over the hard disks and into the middle of the case. That and the 140mm fan from the 800W power supply plus the stock AMD Phenom II AM3 socket fan made for a very quiet setup. Granted, it ran HOT under prolonged normal use (in tropical weather, bear in mind) but never went over 42 degrees Celcius (107 F).After I installed a couple of these 120mm SickleFlow fans (one on the side window intake, muffled with a Thermaltake fan filter, and another for exhaust in the standard rear position) the CPU's fan is always running at the lowest setting (1,500rpm) and the 3 TB drives report a reassuring 36 Celcius temperature. But the constant, unrelenting droning noise... Darn! My midsize case now sound like a big Xeon Blade enterprise server in a windowsless room with a failed A/C.My uneducated guess is that these fans could EASILY do their job running at about half their 2,000 rpm speed, with an estimated 3-6 dB noise reduction (remember that dB are logaritmical scale, so each 3 dB reduction is HALF the physical noise pressure). So my advice is twofold:1. If you're overclocking, pulling 24/7 duties or just want to feel safe that your components are running at comfortable temps, get these fans and be happy that you did.2. If you just want to keep things at bay, but still want to enjoy a movie at night, try to add a pontetiometer or automatic fan controller to lower the speeds and noise.

so i got two of these in the mail today didn't mean to order two so for the moment only one will be in use till i can rebuild an old rig but any way this thing dropped the case temp by 2*C which is what i expected, it does make a difference in my CM Storm but they are a little load i had a silent rig then i install this fan and it sounds like my case is about to achieve mach 1! but that aside when Skyrim starts and speakers start making sounds its not bad at all it does whats its made to do. the thing comes with a 3 pin connector that connects to your motherboard and one adapter with both a male and female 4pin molex connector for a power supply powered fan. the fan feels like pretty good quality after playing with the other in my hands for a few minuets they feel good and work great, besides the sound they are good fans so i still give it 5 starsEARLY UPDATE::: So i now have both fans in the case, the CM Hyper 212 Plus comes with a similar fan but not led the other Difference to note is that the stock non led fan has a 4 pin connector whereas this Sickleflo has a 3 pin connector, the 4th pin is not required but it does allow the MB to control the fan speed according the cpu temp. It WILL work with just 3 pins but the fan will constantly run at around 1875-1906 (says Speccy a detailed statistics program) which is fine if you are okay fan noise. i now have a total of 4 led CM fans in my CM Storm case for some pretty good air cooling and all i hear is slight hum from the fans since i only run an SSD. i've grown to like the sound, its nice, lets me know its still breathing. CPU temps are at 11*C at time of review and can drop in the single digits on idle which is great!

Bought three of these to go along with a semi-budget build, seeing as I could get three of these for the price of a "good" fan (Noctua, Scythe ect.) and with the mindset of changing them out later, it was a no brainer. I had also planned to install an analog fan controller so its high RPM (which I found out later) is a plus. Without the a fan controller, and the fans running at 12V, they are pretty loud and I can only recommend using them at full power if your case is a good distance from you (under a desk, entertainment center), or you use headphones all the time while using your computer. If you hook them up to the fan headers on your Mobo, or if you're going to resistor them down to reduce voltage, then they are a great value. The package contains fan, 4 metal fan screws, Molex (4 pin) adapter with inline extension 4-3pin.With a Scythe Kaze Master Pro controller, I have the fans set to ~6V @~1000RPM (knob is set to 50% mark). To me this is a good compromise between noise levels and cooling. Note that reducing the voltage also reduces the brightness of the LEDs.One detail that's not listed in Amazon's description is the max speed of the fan. I'm not too sure how accurate the reading of my fan controller is, but at 12V/full power the RPM rating on the fan controller is 1800... however in NewEggs details page it lists it as 2000RPM (which makes sense as the model number usually has an RPM rating in it, in this case the 20AC).I've had the fans for about three weeks now, and plan to move forward on my build and upgrade the case fans to something quieter like Scythes, Noctuas, or AuoustiFans. But will keep the CoolerMasters on the side in case one of the new fans fail.Pros:+ Inexpensive... picked up 3 for the price of a "premium" fan+ Led is nice, not too bright, and the blue accentuates most modern cases which have blue power/disk access lights+ Moves a good amount of airCon:- Fan controller is a necessity if your not going to add resistors/hook them up via your Mobo, or the case is anywhere near your workspace/using at 100%.

Хорошо

Hi, folks, I just outfitted my Corsair 400R case with 5 of these 120mm fans. The fans look great (the colored LED is pronounced, yet does not seem to blind me like some accent lighting does on other fans/cases).The huge benefit with this product is that the fans move an absolute TON of air; without exaggeration, the fans create so much air movement that there is a noticeable draft by the case. My CPU (intel i5-2400) runs at 28 - 30 degrees C idle/35-40 degrees C under load, and my EVGA 560ti Superclocked GPU runs at about 40 degrees C idle/55-60 degrees C under load. In other words, the fans are clearly moving a ton of air through the system, and are doing an OUTSTANDING job of keeping things more than cool. With this effectiveness, there does come a price, though; mainly, the fans are EXTREMELY noisy. The five that I installed in my case makes my machine sound like it's about to take off.BUT, you really can't beat the functionality that you get here for the price.I recommend that you pick up this product if you do not mind the noise. Personally, I could care less after witnessing the sheer amount of performance that the product affords.-RLFiredancer

Плохо

When I first turned this fan on, I assumed it would be going back to Amazon the next day. It cooled well, but was far from quiet. I'm using in a home theater PC, and cannot afford to have a noisy fan. This was just plain loud, and could compete with my central AC for noise. My motherboard uses a heat sync and fanless design to cool the CPU. The case is fanless too, except for the power supply. Either one of those ideas might have been fine, but I'm using a micro ATX motherboard with its own external power supply, which left me with no fans.My inside temperatures for CPU and motherboard were 50 and 70 degrees C respectively. When I put this fan in, they dropped to 37 and 34. When I opened the case, everything felt as if the computer had been off all day. The problem was the noise. My motherboard has three fan headers. With two of them, the fan ran loud. With the CPU fan header, which was fortunately not in use, the BIOS can be set to allow me to control the fan speed with software. When I use the "silent" setting, the noise becomes tolerable. The fan is rated at 2000 RPM and at that speed, I found it uncomfortably loud. At 1800 or above, I would not recommend it. At 1600 RPM, the fan is noticeable but should not be a show stopper for a typical PC. The silent setting of my MB software seems to be keeping the speed under 1400 RPM, and the temperatures are staying as low as they were with the fan on high. I have a micro ATX motherboard in a small case, so that's not surprising. If your computer gives you the ability to control the fan speed, there's nothing wrong with this fan unless you are going out of your way to get one of the quietest fans. If you don't have that sort of speed control, fans are cheap enough that even one twice the price is not likely to bankrupt you.I found that the Antec Tri-cool fans are quieter at the lowest speed than this one at the speed my computer uses. That Antec series has the advantage of three way switches, giving you lots of manual control. The disadvantage is that if the fan header is not controlling the speed, you need to open the case to set a switch. Then again, for a typical user, it's a one time setting.Another option is the Antec True Quiet Fan it will be whisper quiet, and you may pay double, but it will still be affordable. That's fine for small cabinets like mine with modest fan requirements, but if you need large air flow or have a bigger cabinet, you might want to stick with something like the Cooler Master, especially if you can control the speed with software.
