I ordered maybe 10-15 of these fans for multiple computers in the house, every single fan eventually slowed down and stopped within the first month. These fans are not built to last.

I bought two of these two use in my mid tower side ports. The first one was great, very quiet and good flow. The second one I received however is very loud. It's not bad enough to send it back, but it is quite annoying.

Built a system in Sept '10 and used two of these coolers for the first time and a third cheaper cooler. After 3 months, the other cooler gave up. But the cooler Master running silently and it seems they will run forever. Replaced the cheaper cooler with on of this and my system is breathing right again!You always look for one brand that is solid and even after the manufacturere retire that product you still look for it and wish it will never be replaced - well, this is one those solid items.Compared to other similar products, price is good, could be a little cheaper though.

Very nice fan, not too bright unless you look at it from the side where the LED is fully exposed. Bought two for my Cooler Master Elite case, very happy with results.

Nothing too fancy. just a solid and reliable fan that appears to be quite durable. Running at 2000 RPM gives it an edge over other comparably priced fans. Attaching it to my liquid cooling radiator, I noticed a 5-7c reduction in my CPU temps.

I added this little gem to a case I modded. I cut a 120 mm fan hole in the top and put this fan in. It's quieter than the 80mm fan I was using yet moves twice the air. The speed is easily adjusted with Speedfan. At 50% it's barely even audible. I'm very pleased with this fan for the price.

This is a good and quiet fan. I have it constantly running at the highest RPM as an exhaust fan, and it is very quiet. It also comes with a molex converter, but at $9 or whatever I paid for it I would be kinda mad if it didn't. The only problem with this thing is that the LEDs are not as bright and cool looking as they look in the picture. Not really a problem for me, since my case doesn't even have a window, but it may be for others.

I was hesitant to buy something listed on Amazon and not on a dedicated computer parts website, since I traditionally go to those, but this turned out very well. It's a little loud, but that doesn't bother me, and just goes to show how fast the motor is spinning. Brought the interior temp of my computer down by almost 15 degrees C.

As titled, it provides good airflow. But 2000rpm make it noisy.After I install it, I took it off immediately. PRobably I will put it on during the summer or whenever i need Overclock.

I ordered this fan to throw into my new Antec Twelve Hundred case for a side fan, and it's definetly not as bring as the other blue fans. This is a cool master and I should have stuck with Antec's blue LED fan.This blue is a darker blue then what Antec uses in their 1200 case, and this dark blue doesn't not light up as much. I will keep it though until it dies or I decide to switch to a fan that lights up a little more.

Moves Air at a good rate and a good noise level..... Compared to alot of other fans, it actually moves a High CFM of air at its Noise level compared to other 120 MM fans out there now, it works, it cools and thats all that matters. I still need to adjust my BIOS settings to tone down my fans so there not at Higher RPMSs all the time....

This is the best 120mm fan I have found. Can't believe people think it is loud. Granted when it is at high speed and velocity it does make some noise but that's about half as much sound and double the air volume of the stock fans that came with my case. The first one I got was defective. Chattered like crazy but Amazon had me a new one in 3 days. Since then I have bought two more and am thinking about getting four more. Dropped my video card temps by about 10 degrees F at 50% speed and silent. Dropped my hard drive temp another 12 degrees. If you need to cool your pc and don't want a lot of noise, you can't go wrong with this fan. Just wish they made the same model with no led.

I bought this to replace some of the cheap fans in my notebook cooler. The NZXT Cryo LX. So far, I'm liking it. The only cons as of the first day of me using is that the LEDs are very dim. No where close to being as bright as in the picture. It could also push a little more air than it does...anyways, its a great fan, its quiet, the LEDs are a cool little add but nothing too impressive unless you get a few of these to actually light up your whole case...

Place this fan into the front of slot of a Cooler Master Elite 341 m-ATX Mini. Nice light glow not obnoxious. At 100% fan speed is loud but setting it down to 50% it is very quiet. Just like anything else, make sure the components you use is proper application for your computer. Good for standard computer operations with no O/C at 50% speed. It will cool for 100% but like I mentioned - loud.Overall great little fan. No complaints.

I bought this fan to do a fan mod for my overheating Xbox360. The fan does this job and does it very well. Some people have complained about the noise from this fan but while it's not completely silent (it's a 120mm fan after all) I didn't find it too noisy. As a matter of fact the DVD drive from the Xbox360 was so much louder that I didn't even notice it. I was however a bit disappointed about the green LED. I usually don't care about looks but I was really trying to do a total mod make over for the 360 and really wanted that LED fan to pop like the picture here shows. While the LED is bright it doesn't light up the blades like it's shown, this is probably due to the fact that the plastic is smoked colored and not clear. The smoked color matched my paint job but unfortunately dulled the brightness of the LED (see pics on link below). But for the price, you just can't go wrong with this fan for whatever purpose you will be using it for.[...].

I order two of these Cooler Master 120mm R4 C2R for my Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower Case. HAF 932 is really quiet and loudest fan is 19 db, so I thought these 19 db R4s would be perfect my case. Even at low speed fan does move decent amount of air. R4s at 2000 rpm(highest speed) is actually quiet WHEN THEY ARE NOT ATTACHED TO ANYTHING. I actually believe that R4s are at 19 db at max speed. But don't know if it's high air pressure or vibration, they are noise when they are attached to the case. I lowered them to about 1500 rpm(silent mode). Noise went down at bit, so did the pressure. And "INTAKE" fan is still loud. It's not as bad as "EXHAUST", but as an intake yuk. If you have a quiet big case with high air flow, I suggest you get something else.Pros-Good Air Pressure-Good looking fans-No LEDCons-Screws don't fit at first-High noise as intake

I put this on the bottom fan slot of my Azza HURRICAN 2000.It brought my MB temperature from 34c - 36c to 30c - 32c on average.I am satisfied overall by this product!

This 120mm fan moves lots of air quietly. It is pleasing to the eye, except LED color is a little off blue more like a blue with a little green added. Has a longish 3 pin connection so it can reach motherboard fan connections easily. None the less an excellent fan for the value.

I AM A SUUUPER HEAVY PC USER. I use my pc for gaming, lan parties, entertainment, work, school, and TV. this fan looks awesome and still runs like a champ after almost 3 full years of heavy use! still running strong and bright since i first bought it. definitely recommend this to anyone looking into green big quiet fans.

This fan looks cool and works well but it has such an annoyingly high pitched sound that my ears hurt and I get headaches just turning on my computer; I am thinking of taking these out of my computer or something just to rid of the annoying sound!

Sold by Amazon so I got it very fast in a well packaged box.Cooler Master did good with this fan, great CFM, not loud, looks awesome.If you want a reliable fan that look awesome and performs great, buy this.Only 120mm fan id consider buying other then this one is a Delta fan that prices around 30-40 bucks.

This was a touch annoying in building the themed computer they went into.Each unit (6 have been ordered so far) has a different pitch when spinning up (unlike 99% of the other fans that CM shipped with cases, or have been ordered as replacements). The one drive is around twice as loud as the rest, ended up putting that rpm to about 1/3 of the others to remove the noise (fan works as a secondary intake, no need to replace a working fan).Pros:the smoked plexi/acrylic design looks great in cases (not a fan of crystal clear ones).The LEDs change brightness as the fans increase in speed/ flicker when powering down (client liked this a lot)very effective at moving airfasten very securelynon-obnoxious level of lightcons:screws are a nightmare to get started (tip: take a phillips screwdriver and grind out the very very start of the holes, they thread MUCH easier after this)variations of pitch (some are VERY annoyingly high pitched at medium rpms)per unitscrews provided are soft metal(try the above tip to prevent stripping the head)

If you have very sensitive ears, then this is not the fan for you! If you own a fan controller, then there will be no problem, but then you will have to ask yourself: why did you buy this fan in the first place.

it blows really hard but its more quiet than i expected. it has a pretty blue light. perfect for computer cases with a clear side. i dont think it comes with screws though. other than that it works fine, no negative things. just get screws.

I am not one of those guys who wants a whisper quiet system and I am not an enthusiast looking for top shelf parts. But these are high quality fans. They run slow and steady but move quite a bit of air. Something everyone should know though is when installing these fans the manufacturer never pre-set the the screw holes in the fan for installation so put the fan in for the first time is difficult. When you put the first screw in and it is hard to tighten them just keep going until the screw is all the way in you wont break anything like this trust me. Other then that this fan is good looking and efficient.

I purchased this fan to cool down my case, the bigger the fan the more spacing it has for the fan blades as opposed to its middle motor piece, the better the air flow, also the more blades the quieter it is since theres is less "choppiness" of the air being pulled in. I was surprised with how quiet and silky smooth this fan was, and will be purchasing another one soon, to replace the noisy 80mm fan i have at the front of my case.I generally use my pc for heavy 3d graphics/games/modelling application and this fan helps keep it cool and quiet.

This fan is a lot better than the junk my case came with. It pulls a considerable amount of air and it's not loud. But if you are expecting bright leds that will light up your case internals, you'll be disappointed. It's just 3 dim blue lines across the fan that are barely noticeable. It's just a good fan. :)

pros: high air flow; very little noise; good speed. this is the only 120 mm fan i use on 8 pc;s blue led is a plus. (amazon also sells a red led fan with same specs) I have purchased at least 32 of these fans. some of these fans have been running for 3 years with no problems.cons: NONE

I have been looking for a quieter fan for my pc. I had been using Thermaltake until they all started failing and making more noise than me. I have a CoolerMaster case that came with 3 fans and they were quiet. So, upon further reveiw, I wanted to keep my cost down and didn't want to go with liquid cooling. This particular fan model pushed more air and had lower dcb ratings. Good price too. My only regret... shoulda got the 140 mm. But hey, I'm pleased. Just gotta stop the case vibrations/resanance(sp).

I bought this fan several months ago to spice up a thermaltake case. Initially I loved the effect and the quality of the fan. It moves a lot of air while being quiet, and the led's looked fantastic. (pardon the pun) HOWEVER within a week one of the led's went out. As the fan still functioned I decided not to return it. But as i speak the last led died , less than 6 months after purchasing it. I cannot recommend this product to anyone because of this issue. There are many other options, cheaper also, that would provide longer service at the same price.

I purchased one of these to max out my case's cooling capacity. Works as stated, moves lots of air at 100% power (not enough cooling with all fans at lower settings to handle 3.3Ghz OC on q9550). Still, this fan, in tandem with several like it, does it's job. I only wish it were quieter. The green LED's aren't absurdly bright, look cool, and are true in color.

Just finished installing these in my case and find that they are not as bright as the picture shows and are somewhat louder than my previous fans. On the bright side, they do move more air and are not expensive. I recommend these fans if you don't mind a little noise.

This fan is nice. Although it could be loud running at 100%, it is OK at 50% with settings in your bios.Cons, worst screws ever!!! with 1 of them got all the way in with no issue. 2 were badly stripped, but I was able to get them in by pressing very hard. Last one got stripped so bad that it just stays half way in. Now I can even get them out at all.Get your own screws from elsewhere if you can
