This is a great little camera. The quality of the photos and the features are perfect for us. Our only complaint is that using it is clumsy because of the flash and how it is positioned. It wasn't distracting enough to return the camera and we are hoping we can get used to it. It makes it hard to hold steady for those special shot.

I just received this camera yesterday, and I LOVED it the moment I opened the box! It looks amazing, and the color is very attractive. The size doesn't bother me at all. There are tons of features on this camera that I still have yet to learn about, if I want to learn about them at all.I was taking photos and I realized that there was a shadow at the bottom right-hand corner of each photograph. I thought maybe my hand was in the way? So I put it on a flat surface and turned the self timer on. NOPE! The shadow was still in the way... I decided that I would turn off the flash, and there was no more shadow. so I guess the awkward flash really has something to do with picture quality? I cannot use a camera that leaves a shadow for every picture I use flash with. I am definitely going to return this, even though I was extremely excited for the release about two months in advance..

I have several cameras, so I really have not used this very much as yet. The biggest problem I find is that my finger is always on the area where the flash pops up when you turn on the camera. Because of the finger being there, it keeps the flash down which may not be a good thing. I have to try to remember to move my finger before turning it on. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this camera. Love the zoom range, and pixels. I would recommend it for sure !!

I bought this camera 3 weeks back and i am very impressed. The pics are as good as my DSLR and the zoom with image stabilization is very good performance wise. DIGIC 4 processor is quick like a T1i. I live in Seattle and have used this camera for long shots of the olympia mountains(50 miles) and Seattle downtown from my apartment in Bellevue which is about 25 miles away and i have seen the crispness and zoom quality to now recommend this camera.Also shot a lot of pics indorrs in low light and outdoors when i visited Tulip town last week. Everybody who has looked at the pics could not differentiate if these were from my DSLR or the powershot SX210IS.There are some design features like the flash being where our left hand would hold the camera and the need to keep your left hand off it when you power up. Otherwise Canon's got a winner here....Great pics with superb zoom and stabilization done right. Very Strongly Recommended.

Bought this Camera in Walmart (its more expensive there)Awesome little camera, idle for people wanting a profession style camera small enough to fit in your pocket!!I won't go into detail, this truly is a great little camera, the more I play with it the more and more I like it!Well worth a buy!

Bought this as a more portable option to my slr and have found the quality of the results so amazing that it has become the only camera I need. The macro is great and I love the color effects. The zoom and IS are top notch too.

Pictures Quality: As with all Canon Cameras, the picture quality is decent. I had the original ELPH, then the 630, then the SX200IS, and now the SX210.Exterior: Love the smaller form factor of the SX210 over the SX200IS. I still have issues with that POP-UP flash, my fat finger kept getting in the way because that's where my left hand lands when I turn on the camera.Controls: Look at my title. Canon has shuffled around a little the controls, I'm sure I'll learn the new "features" and controls soon enough. Right now, the frustration is with taking video, I thought I was recording, but realize afterwards that the RECORD button wasn't on. I missed out on a great shot of the SHUTTLE ATLANTIS going up!Will edit as I learn more about this new camera.

I absolutely love this camera. I recommend it for families. It takes great pictures of kids and the zoom is awesome. Allows you not to bother them but still take your precious pictures. The night pics are average, but still very much worth the money.

I researched this camera on Amazon and another site or two and it works just like the other reviews said it would. Out of the box, took amazingly clear 14 mp pics. Zoom is very clear. I don't know how to use all the settings like flower mode; the book is a little skimpie, but I will review the enclosed CD.

This camera has delivered all the features and performance as advertised.I totally love it.Looks good, feels good.Picture quality is excellent and has performed well in adverse weather conditions.

Had it for a few months and am very, very pleased. Small, excellent quality, great zoom, etc. It's all I was hoping it would be.

I was suppose to receive a 4GB SDHC Memory Card free with the purchase of this camera. I never received it nor have I ever heard anything from Amazon regarding it. When purchasing an item worth this kind of money one would think that Amazon would live up to their end of the bargin. Will think twice before coming back to them.

Excellent little camera. I was thinking of purchasing a digital SLR but this camera will do everything I want without the bulk. Photo quality is fantastic.

This is a great camera overall. The only downside is that the flash is located on the left hand corner and it comes out when you turn the camera on. This makes it a little bit harder to hold the camera from both sides to take a picture.

Needless to list the pros of this camera here as many people have already mentioned in their reviews, I just put out some facts after some basic tests that this camera disappointed me.1. This camera is slow. When you shoot at low light or even at normal indoor, the process time is much longer than SX200.2. Indoor picture quality is way lack of clarity. The pictures look very soft and foggy. Yes, I did try many different settings.3. The picture quality of low light and night scenes are almost identical to SX200 although SX210 has F3.1.Hope this is helpful for potential buyers who don't want to get all the "pros" feedback.Update:As both SX210 and SX200 are available in the market place, SX200 is the best choice for its picture quality, functionality, build and price.

I wanted a small, portable camera with a lot of features. I am certainly not disappointed in this camera. I like the powerful zoom which gives me a lot of flexibility in taking various shots. The focus is very good, and the controls are easy to use and understand. Very enjoyable and easy to slip into a pant or shirt pocket.

Great camera. I bought it because of the telephoto zoom and it is everything I hoped for. Sharp images, easy to use. The only annoying drawback is the flash placement, so I keep my finger on it and ignore it. Whoever came up with it was not thinking clearly. For me, the other great things the camera has outweigh this mistake in design.

I was concerned about the size of this camera because I love having a camera that I can keep in my front pants pocket. However, I couldn't find a review anywhere that addressed this concern directly. So, I'm writing one.If you are an average sized adult male who wears Dockers or blue jeans with loose pockets, you should have no problem fitting this camera into your front pants pocket.Sorry, ladies and children-- you'll to wait for one of your own to comment. Guys-- hope this helps.

Sturdy metal case. Ready to shoot right away. I can't imagine how they packed all the features in such a small unit. It is much smaller than my SLR, but has more features. Easy to figure out the menu and buttons.

This little camera has so many special features I cannot mention them all.Focus your most distant subject, color your photo in a wash of red, or other special effects.Lots of fun, small enough to carry every where.

Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to useCons: slowThis camera is to slow to be considered a camera - a sketch pad might be faster. There doesn't seem to be a buffer and the save time to the memory card is agonizing slow. This camera would never be able to handle sports or children playing - you'd miss too many shots. It's too bad because it has a lot of nice features in a small package. As a reference my G7 shoots twice as fast and its an older camera. Faster memory cards don't seem to help much. I shot with a Class 4 and a Class 6 - no noticeable change.
