Decent Camera with good Picture quality ,Although I could not find this specified in any of the manufacturers information on line, I didsee in the accompanying documentation that Canon recommends the user buy a flash card that is atleast 15mb/s. This is also called a class 4 flash card.

This is exactly what I was looking for, 14 megapixels, 14x zoom, easy to use, nice compact size and great pictures. Lots of options for taking photos in all types of light, huge LCD display screen. It lives up to the Canon name.

At first, we bought this one because, on the paper, it is good at taking steady photos without blurring problem.But when we start to use it, it exceeds all our expectation from this camera.It's a easy to use point-and-shoot camera, but also a SLR camera with many advance functions.The face recognition function works great as advertised.The HD video was really sharp and clear, although the size of file is huge as expected.It can easily take picture of stars at night with 15 sec. exposure time,and many other cool functions.Althoung the location of flash light makes it a little difficult to hold camera,it is a overall great camera.

This camera was a Christmas present for my wife. She did the research and told me which model to get. She loves it and is very happy. One thing I would recomend. Get the wireless memory card for any camera you get.

I like the size, weight and ease of use, but the pictures aren't as clear as the Fuji 3.5 megapixel camera that this one replaces. I might need to learn more about the setup or preperation for the picture, but so far, I like the Fuji picture quality better.

My daughter loves this camera! It is easy to use and lightweight. I looked at a lot of cameras and got this one with great features on sale so we saved a lot of cash. The only problem is finding a bag to fit it in the same color scheme.

I spent a lot of time researching to find a pocket friendly camera with good zoom, and I'm loving this Canon SX210 IS. Takes great pictures, good video, the mic is surprisingly receptive, I love the zoom, and the battery life is out of control. Fantastic. I really liked my old Olympus, but it ate batteries like a mofo. This Canon comes with a wall recharging battery that last FOREVER and a day. Two out of town trips and hundreds of photos later, and I've only recharged it once in the past three months. Score

After having bought 8 of these for my work, I was blown away by the quality and feature set.My step-daughter asked for a point and shoot camera for Christmas and this was the obvious choice.

I read the other good reviews on this camera so I thought it was going to be great. I was really surprised at the quality of the pics-very poor for the price. My Sony camera which was 90$ took better pics. I quickly returned this camera!

This is an excellent camera with amazing picture quality. I like the feature of quickly on/off of flash. I haven't explored it much but whatever I saw ..really nice!!

The zoom on this camera makes it worth the 5 stars. The flash does sometimes get in the way of my husband's hand (he's left handed and the flash pops up on left side of camera).It takes good HD movie quality video with good sound.

I own many digital cameras, and I wanted this one for its high megapixels and long zoom.Well, the camera is way below what I'd expected... It doesn't make good close up shots, in low light it is grainy and it is slow.I had a bad feeling when I started working with it, I wish I'd sent it back...

Great camera, easy to use and excellent zoom and picture quality. The only problem with this camera is the pop-up zoom that's positioned in the upper-left part of the camera and interferes while grabbing it.

I bought this camera after much research,just before making a trip overseas, so I had less than a week to use to it before I left. Great camera, was easy to use and I love the 14x zoom. I was able to get excellent pics and video while sightseeing around Prague. I had very good low light pics, in several indoor situations. Even preferred the ones without the flash!! As they had great color and captured the settings better in several unique restaurants that had some mood lighting. Highly recommend this camera.

Very nice camera. MADE IN JAPAN. Feels nice with aluminum body, not cheap plasticy. Pictures in restaurant at ISO 200 & 400 (without using flash) turns out very nice, provided the subjects stay still for the shot. I bought this at $199 on a sale here, and I'm loving it.

Overall it's a good camera with a lot of feature. As a Canon product, it provide good quality of picture. So far I don't have any complain.

Bought this camera to take to concerts. Needed a big zoom, great low light performance, HD video and a lot of battery. Ordered on-line since all local stores had been sold out for several weeks. First Canon I have ever owned. It was worth the wait. Easy to use yet comes packed with every manual feature you could need. The zoom is remarkable. The HD video performed like a much bigger camera. Battery lasts - even with video. Low light pictures are remarkable. If you are looking for a concert camera - you cannot do better.The complaints about the flash placement are overstated. It only took a few minutes to learn how to hold it and it is easy to reactivate the flash if your finger holds it down.I have only owned this camera for a month and it has already made a big impression. In my camera bag, I will carry my Nikon digital SLR when I can and this little beauty when I can't.

There has been much written about this camera, I bought it based on good reviews but I returned it for one reason and one reason only- too much lag. I photograph action almost exclusively and in continuous mode with a class 10 high speed card it was painfully slow. I wanted to love this camera- still looking...

I really like this camera. I think for the money it is a great value. The zoom is perfect and is great but it still is small enough to carry with you.

I was very excited to get this camera until I used it. My husband bought it because our Olympus wasn't quick enough to catch our toddler on the go. This camera snapped the shot but no matter which setting it was on, it was blurry. The Olympus was much clearer. Also, the flash is in an awkward place. I'm so use to putting my finger on the top that I stopped it from automatically popping up every time. I returned it after trying for a week.
