Having to maually raise flash id a nuisance, but the camera is excellent. Autofocus is goog, but sometimes slow. Al else A-OK.

I am a Real Estate Appraiser and purchased this camera for work. For the past three months it is used almost daily and I typically take between 100-200 photos per week. The camera is heavier than others although the quality of the photos, display, and flash were worth the price. Most of the interior photos are crisp and the wide angle setting works well in large unlit rooms. These cameras eat batteries quickly so I recommend an extra battery and car charger. Many of these are available on Amazon.com. This is my first Canon camera and was a good choice. Another camera considered was the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 although I had concerns of it's lot light issues. Remember it is not an SLR but for a pocket camera in my business I love it.

This is an excellant camera with number of useful features. It was a gift to my wife and she liked it very much.

I bought this camera for a study abroad trip to Ireland this fall. To test the merit of the camera I went to the Giants v. Jets game at New Meadowlands Stadium. Sitting in the second teir using the zoom I was able to get crystal clear, beatuiful shots of the action. The video is clear and sharp but the microphone is suseptable to wind, but this was not so bad that it took away from the overall performance.Overall this is an amazing camera with great picture quality, zoom, and battery life. It is still small enough to fit easily in a pocket.

Amazing digital camera-love the 720p hd, big screen & great flash & also the 14x zoom is very helpful. Take it with me everywhere I go , great size & doesn't weigh much--love all of the features that are programed in the camera like the colour accent & fish eye lense. Highly reccomend it.

Excellent Canon camera. Thin, light but powerful. Photo quality is amazing. However, the only problem is (probably I can setup the options but I cannot find) the flashlight always pop up every time I power on the camera, which can be a little annoying for me since I usually don't use flashlight.

Got this item on sale - great camera - works well, sturdy design - zoom works great, this camera is well suited to the active lifestyle.

I LOVE this camera. I previously had an older Canon Digital Elph and it worked great for a while, but I was in search of a larger zoom and a camera that tok stellar photos in low and dark light. I found it in this camera. Recently went on a camping trip and took photos by the campfire in the night setting - photos turned out like it was daylight. I definitely recommend this camera!

This is a great little camera. The quality of the photos and the features are perfect for us. Our only complaint is that using it is clumsy because of the flash and how it is positioned. It wasn't distracting enough to return the camera and we are hoping we can get used to it. It makes it hard to hold steady for those special shot.

I just received this camera yesterday, and I LOVED it the moment I opened the box! It looks amazing, and the color is very attractive. The size doesn't bother me at all. There are tons of features on this camera that I still have yet to learn about, if I want to learn about them at all.I was taking photos and I realized that there was a shadow at the bottom right-hand corner of each photograph. I thought maybe my hand was in the way? So I put it on a flat surface and turned the self timer on. NOPE! The shadow was still in the way... I decided that I would turn off the flash, and there was no more shadow. so I guess the awkward flash really has something to do with picture quality? I cannot use a camera that leaves a shadow for every picture I use flash with. I am definitely going to return this, even though I was extremely excited for the release about two months in advance..

I have several cameras, so I really have not used this very much as yet. The biggest problem I find is that my finger is always on the area where the flash pops up when you turn on the camera. Because of the finger being there, it keeps the flash down which may not be a good thing. I have to try to remember to move my finger before turning it on. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this camera. Love the zoom range, and pixels. I would recommend it for sure !!

I bought this camera 3 weeks back and i am very impressed. The pics are as good as my DSLR and the zoom with image stabilization is very good performance wise. DIGIC 4 processor is quick like a T1i. I live in Seattle and have used this camera for long shots of the olympia mountains(50 miles) and Seattle downtown from my apartment in Bellevue which is about 25 miles away and i have seen the crispness and zoom quality to now recommend this camera.Also shot a lot of pics indorrs in low light and outdoors when i visited Tulip town last week. Everybody who has looked at the pics could not differentiate if these were from my DSLR or the powershot SX210IS.There are some design features like the flash being where our left hand would hold the camera and the need to keep your left hand off it when you power up. Otherwise Canon's got a winner here....Great pics with superb zoom and stabilization done right. Very Strongly Recommended.

Studied so many online reviews and thought this was the one! What a disappointment. After taking some pics, that look good enough on the camera...then downloaded to PC. They are too soft and granulated when zooming in on the PC monitor. Yuck! My old Canon SD780IS was way better! The camera has so many nice features, but the most important thing is good-quality pics! I am now shipping this back to Amazon, so glad that they allow returns!

Bought this Camera in Walmart (its more expensive there)Awesome little camera, idle for people wanting a profession style camera small enough to fit in your pocket!!I won't go into detail, this truly is a great little camera, the more I play with it the more and more I like it!Well worth a buy!

The LCD is not as vibrant and detailed as it should be at this price. It looks pale, grainy, and washed-out even in normal room light. The resolution is disappointing and that makes it difficult to use the LCD when evaluating the effect of different settings in the field. I found the lower dial to be very touchy and its being unlabeled just makes using it even more annoying. I find this dial to be very touchy and that does not suit my large hands. The flash always deploying at power-up is a distraction and an annoying gimmick. I seldom use flash, so it is particularly irksome for me. I had higher hopes for this camera and its high zoom range and presumably decent performance. For me, there are better cameras at this price point. This camera may suit you just fine only you can tell. For me, though, I am returning the camera for the issues I've cited.

Bought this as a more portable option to my slr and have found the quality of the results so amazing that it has become the only camera I need. The macro is great and I love the color effects. The zoom and IS are top notch too.

Pictures Quality: As with all Canon Cameras, the picture quality is decent. I had the original ELPH, then the 630, then the SX200IS, and now the SX210.Exterior: Love the smaller form factor of the SX210 over the SX200IS. I still have issues with that POP-UP flash, my fat finger kept getting in the way because that's where my left hand lands when I turn on the camera.Controls: Look at my title. Canon has shuffled around a little the controls, I'm sure I'll learn the new "features" and controls soon enough. Right now, the frustration is with taking video, I thought I was recording, but realize afterwards that the RECORD button wasn't on. I missed out on a great shot of the SHUTTLE ATLANTIS going up!Will edit as I learn more about this new camera.

Overall great camera. However, seems to have a problem finding focus, especially if there is slight movement and with inside photos. After buying the camera, I went on a trip during which time I took about 150 photos. About 20% came out a bit blurry or seemed slightly out of focus (about 10% was caused by movement). Also, unlike with SLR's (or DSLR's), does not work well with depth perception.

I absolutely love this camera. I recommend it for families. It takes great pictures of kids and the zoom is awesome. Allows you not to bother them but still take your precious pictures. The night pics are average, but still very much worth the money.

I researched this camera on Amazon and another site or two and it works just like the other reviews said it would. Out of the box, took amazingly clear 14 mp pics. Zoom is very clear. I don't know how to use all the settings like flower mode; the book is a little skimpie, but I will review the enclosed CD.

This camera has delivered all the features and performance as advertised.I totally love it.Looks good, feels good.Picture quality is excellent and has performed well in adverse weather conditions.

Simply the best camera I ever had... And the brand is the best, Canon products are strong, nothing can brake it... 14x optical zoom is really wonderful... I love my new camera...
