The product came without a book and it was supposed to be new, but it came with a locked passcode which I had no way of retrieving.

I am sure it is an excellent tablet but being use to window I had problems so returned and will try to find a Samsung or other tablet.

Thetis is my freaken third iPad first one over heated charged it on some crappy meatel second one water damage coffee spilled in my back pack but I wouldn't trust any other tablets such as Microsoft Sony blah blah cus they carry viruses in due time ull get one lol leave iT to Apple I got love for it though and my favorite apps our dragon city and monster legends ...

The iPad Mini is incredible. You can use it for anything, from gaming to financial purposes. You can also add various fingerprints. It is also crazy fast and amazingly thin. There are also several camera options, including Panorama and slow motion. Probably in my opinion the best Apple product.

I like my iPad mini. I like how it is bigger than my phone but smaller than my laptop. I also like how it connects to my iPhone. It is nice to surf the web or play games on. The iPad mini is also nice to take pictures with because it has a bigger screen. I also like how I text on it so I don’t have to have my phone with me 24/7. I do wish it was a little different than my phone other than being bigger because it seems like I have two phones. I can do the same stuff on both of them. Overall I do think it is a good product.

My husband can't set it down. He uses it a lot to watch movies that I don't care to watch. Loves it for emails and Facebook.

Not an Apple fan, but their system is great for kids...lots of child restrictions. My seven year old son uses this to "study" every night (he reads books and looks up websites). I am happy with it for him.

I replaced my Nexus 7 with it. Once I got over the slightly different feel (the Nexus is skinnier and ever-so-slightly easier to hold in one hand) I was blown away by, well, everything. Battery life. Check. Display. Check. (And the proportions are put to good use by the screen.) game graphics. Triple check. Also, I like the Apple "ecosystem."
The Nexus is great hardware, but I couldn't be happier with my iPad Mini.

The only issue I have had with this is it freezes very often. Which can really be a hassle when you are having to reset it between switching apps. It will freeze or not load the internet which seems to be a connected problem. That's what I get for buying one refurbished, I wish I would have just trusted that there would be some in stock during the Black Friday sales.

Got this for my husband for our anniversary and he already has an IPod, but I thought he could use that for all his music, he loves that thing, and has so much music on it. but I thought that by getting him the tablet, he could transfer his games, pics, and whatever else he keeps on there to the IPad Mini. I about died when he kept it!!! He's a very difficult man to buy for! We've been married 29 years, so I was like I'm going for it, I can always send it back with Amazon. But he loves it!!! I don't use it, I have my own stuff. Kindle Fire HD, which rocks and we both have Iphones, so you can't lose with an Apple product!!! He's on it every night, now he's buying more music for his other device and has what he needs on his IPad Mini. And it's so thin, so if we go away, it goes in our Electric Gadget bag, with our chargers and it's awesome!! And on the day I bought this whole package, the IPad Mini, the case that shuts it off and turns it on, and the protector sheets, I paid under $380 for everything!!! It pays to be an Amazon Prime Member!!!! You get the best deals, no hassles on returns, you have 30 days to return something, and if you have a problem, all you have to do is call them!! I love the ease and the customer service!!! I've yet to have any kind of issue with Amazon!!! For this whole package, it said 2-3 days max for delivery!! It was here the next night at 5pm!! I was shocked!!!! But, it was here and that's what I love about Amazon!!! They ROCK!!! Now reviewing all the books I've bought for my Kindle, I'll try to get to them!!! LOL I already have tons of books, and every single day I get BookBub in my Email and it's the books on sale or FREE books!!! Amazing....I love them!!! I do most of my shopping on Amazon and because I'm a Prime Member, I don't pay for shipping. I hate going to Malls...you get better prices on here for Bluray movies, electronics, kids toys, and shipping is free as long as it's a Prime item. I've talked enough!! Amazon ROCKS and I'll always come here first before I go anywhere else.

I am writing this as an upgraded view not as a first time iPad buyer. i actually got the 64GB version but i do not see it listed on Amazon at time of writing this so i'll review the 16gb. i bought the black, i had the white. i went black because as beautiful as the white is i found myself looking at the bezile often. the bright white distracted me from the screen sometimes. the bezel fades out of view when black and i find myself seeing more of what is on the screen.
the retina display is a huge upgrade. i have corrective lenses and need 1.25 reading glasses. reading all text on the retina is worth the upgrade for me. while i do not have an iPad to compare the color gamut i can say that i think the colors are fine. the display is a worthwhile upgrade consideration. as much of an improvement the screen is the processor is an even bigger improvement. i use to see load time of a game called Field Runner2 HD (there is a free version too if you want to check your mini) of 40 seconds or so, the new mini loads twice as fast. i wish i took a video of the two side by side before i sent my old one to a friend. it was amazing how much faster the new iPad loads games. i did do a video on the retina loading the game.
i would like to say the iPad mini should have had the fingerprint scanner and all Apple products are overdue for built in wireless charging. still this is a really nice product and i am glad i spent the money on the upgrade.

The box was a little dirty which was slightly skeptical at first. However, when I opened the box everything was brand new with the seal. It's been a great product investment for our family.

I am happy I bought it but I wish I would have put insurance on it. It craked the 2 nd day I bought it. the case I bought for it had not arrive yet.
