Reasonable Cpu For the price but not one for dedicated gamers. However AMD's build is up to theirn normal high standards. I did find the holddown clamps a little fiddle to latch, Recommend downloading latest drivers from AMD's Support Site.

Guten Tag,
besitze diesen Prozessor nun eine Weile u. bin nicht enttäuscht wurden. Gibt ja genug negative Rezessionen im Netz über die FX-Serie. Hatte vorher einen Athlon X3 455 von AMD. Leistungszuwachs ist doch zu merken. Der FX 4100 wird von Win 7 u. verschiedenen Tools als 4-Kerner erkannt, obwohl es ja eigentlich ein 2-Kerner ist. Aber das stört mich nicht. Win7-Leistungsindex = 7.2. Spiele wie Dirt3 oder Anno 1404 laufen mit entsprechender Grafikkarte flüssig.

Super Prozessor zum kleinen Preis!!
Habe den Prozessor nun gut einem Monat laufen, er verichtet seine Arbeit tadelos, jedes Spiel läuft Butterweich, was vorher mit meinem alten Athlon x2 nicht Funktioniert hätte.

my first cpu purchase and it work! i installed it in a gigabyte mobo with kingston ram with no problems or doa. windows 7 experience rate it at 7.4. very happy everything worked out fine since im building a budget pc.

Non potevo chiedere di meglio!
Ormai si sa, i prodotti AMD dominano il mercato in rapporto qualità prezzo.Nonostante ciò avevo esitato a comprare quest'articolo,sentendo persone che sostenevano che questa cpu avrebbe limitato la mia hd 7870 in game... si sbagliavano di grosso poichè dopo aver preso un po di coraggio per usufruire di un oferta sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla qalità di questo prodotto... nessuna limitazione, finalmente posso giocare a bf3 e altri titoli odierni a qualità massima (ultra)...
PS. 5 stelle vanno anche al dissipatore della cooler master incluso nella confezione.Con un'areazione del case adeguata sono riuscito a portare la temperatura della cpu (con dissi stock)a 28-30 gradi ( a temperatura d'ambiente 25 gradi)

Very good processor but...
Five stars because as a processor, it is amazing. I used to have issues with games where the graphics card (Radeon HD 6870) was getting bottlenecked by the processor. Most, if not all, games suffered. Installed this, now it works fine! Lots of overclocking headroom too.
However, the hexa-core bulldozer is roundabouts the same price as this, so I'd recommend getting the hexa-core and just locking 2 cores away and overclocking it for greater quad-core performance.

It works
Not much to say about this one. It was easy to install, and with the thermal paste already on the heat sink, it's basically fool proof. I'm using it in an office computer, so I haven't really had a chance to test its performance, but it works great in multitasking situations. Overall, it suits my needs and I would definitely recommend the whole line of amd FX processors. All three I've installed have functioned beautifully.

Great processor for the money
Processor was used for my first desktop build. Came in, was easy to install. Stock cooler was easy to mount. So far, I haven't stressed in super much, but it's handled absolutely everything I've done with it. Regression analysis in Excel with around 100,000 variables? Didn't break a sweat. Call of Duty? Come on. This thing handles most anything with ease. For the price, you can't beat it.

Budget Gaming Perfection
The is an amazing processor for the money and can easily be overclocked to 4.3GHz with the Arctic cooling freezer 7. Don't listen to older reviews about this cpu being terrible at gaming, these reviews are highly outdated so long as you remember to update the drivers.
To sum it up, this is a great cpu for gaming but would recommend the 6-core bulldozer for those who wish to be using editing software or rendering HD video's.

Fast and flawless
Have had this for 1 1/2 months and installed it with an ASUS M5A97 motherboard, with 8 gb of RAM, 650w power supply, and an Nvidia graphics card and all I can say is that this processor does what it supposed to and more. Haven't overclocked it yet because I need to upgrade to a 1600mhz memory (I am running with 2 1333mhz. But, my speed now is 3.4 GHZ and it works flawlessly!

good CPU
DONT LET THE PICTURE FOOL YOU! It does NOT come in that box and it DOES NOT come with the heatsink and fan. It is JUST the CPU chip and a small packet of thermal paste. For the price it should come with a HS and fan. Found one after I had installed this one for $15 cheaper that did.. my loss I guess.

got this guy installed and was very impresed ( although to be honest I was upgrading from a dual core 2.4 ghz so it was to be expected ) oc'd it to 4.2 ghz without any noticeable issues will be getting a better heatsink and fan though as the stock ones are never up to the task with overclocking. overall a fine processor, fast and with no heat issues yet.

I've given this a 5 star rating, as it was just what I wanted.
Even though it was second hand, the seller posted it very quickly and it arrived with the time frame given.
It works very well, and I must even put this in, that it was even cheaper than the cheapest on Ebay.
All in all a very good all round buying experience.

AMD FX 4100
So far i have been running this processor for 2 days. Great speeds. A good upgrading from running a dual core for 3+ years that also still works. AMD makes great processors. I am running this on a gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2 motherboard with 8 gigs of dual channel ddr 3 memory. It is running like a champ. For $109 you cant beat the price for the upgrade.

Awesome purchase
A brilliant purchase, heat sink fan is a good quality as well, haven't seen the am3+ socket before so wasn't sure whether to purchase this model but am really glad I did. This was bought for a budget gaming and music production build with asus ml5a board 16gb ram radeon sapphire hd vapour x 2gb graphics card, 1tb hdd in a zalman cool master case.

a bargain processor that packs a punch
This 4 core processor is not just cheap, it's cheap and fantastic. Will overclock easily to nearly 5ghz on the standard heatsync using just multipliers. It is socket AM3+ so ensure your board can support it. Runs most games well however it does depend on your graphics card.. With this CPU it really is easy to build a cheap and good gaming pc!

Ottimo processore arrivato in poco tempo e senza problemi, per il suo prezzocon una 7750 riesce a fare girare giochi come skyrim al massimo della risoluzione a 50 fps anche di più,consigliatissima per chi vuole giocare a prestazioni medie senza spendere troppo,do quattro stelle per il dissipatore incluso (consiglio di comprarne uno nuovo).Per il resto sono rimasto abbastanza soddisfatto.

A very nice piece of hardware. Jumping from a duo-core 2.8GHz to this is quite a leap. Very fast, fan that comes with it is quiet, paste pre-applied. Fan and chip install were a snap.
Just a great product for a very decent price. Just got it, so I havent done any overclocking, but I hope it has the potential.

J'ai acheté ce processeur pour les bonnes critiques qu'il génére et suite a un upgrade de PC.
Performant et simple a la fois, il convient grandement pour le jeux et le montage vidéo.
Son prix est très interessant pour les petites bourses.
