I bought the 300gb raptor drive Feb of this year and it has been excellent..No problems and quiet and fast..I recently replaced it with the latest version..The 600gb wd 32 megs cache drive..I ran it for 3 days and then kept getting error on reboot "Can't read disk" fortunately I saved my other drive and reinstalled it and presently it is working like it always did.. I like wd drives but this made me a little edgy to purchase another. Think I will wait for a 3.5 inch sata SSD drive for a desktop before trying this again. And ssd that also does not require TRIM for XP Pro..gary

Installed in my Mac Pro without problem. Runs great, with a small but noticeable improvement in response with disk intensive tasks.

Installed four of these drives into my new 12-core Mac Pro mid-2010, configured as Raid-5 using the Mac RAID card. XBench scored 313 and performance is solid throughout. Although these devices are SATA 6GB/s, they worked flawlessly in my 3GB/s RAID configuration.
