Прошёл ровно один год,и приплыли:монитор начало заливать зелёным цветом.Сдал в гар. ремонт.Через месяц вернули с описанием рем.работ(пропайка контактов).При первом же включении(проработал 6 часов),опять таже проблемма.Сейчас опять в ремонте. Полное разочерование!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing about this monitor that is 25X20 inches. The screen itself measures only 13 1/8 x 22 1/8 from border end to border end. Yes, diagonally, it is 23" (and some change) from the bottom left to top right corners, but EVEN ON ITS STAND, the unit only measures 16.5" tall. Where is this 20" figure coming from? In the box with the styrofoam padding?It's so discrepant, I had to check that they sent me the right monitor, and not a smaller 22" unit incorrectly boxed. I do have the VA2431wm and that is what is advertised and what I purchased.Caveat Emptor.Another challenge I had was that my Macbook couldn't play the 1920X1080 pixel rate from screen border to border, because of something assumedly with my old video card. It could function at 1040X768 (stretched), but a tech friend gave me a tip, and, after posting at Mac-forums, a kind soul helped me achieve a work around that allows me to enjoy the highest pixel rate with my Macbook without a new video card. (See this thread if you need the same help: [...]So, now that I can enjoy this (smaller) monitor at 1920X1080, how is it?Divine. Absolutely divine.It's ridiculous how beautiful the picture quality is.Even at 1040X768, the images were very good and a noticeable quality improvement over my previous monitor. (The previous monitor was a fine, workhorse of a Dell that measures 13X15). At 1920X1080, it's practically like my high end Panasonic plasma flat-screen tv. It really is that good. This thing isn't a monitor; it's like a high end multi-media flat-screen. All the images -- from simple fonts to photos, to internet websites, to streaming video -- O my gosh. What a difference this is. It's like moving from black and white to color TV. It really is a HUGE leap in image quality and performance. Everything is so tight, colorful, enhanced, and beautiful. I am very, very pleased!I love how the 22" screen spreads out the docs, making it much, much easier to multitask and leave multiple windows open. I wasn't sure at first if the size difference would affect my work, but it does. It's easier to work on a longer screen. Even though the monitor isn't that much taller than the older one, the wider screen allows me to have docs open in larger fonts and not run off the right side of the monitor. I can even view a full doc at 125% and get a great, partial view at 200% -- something that would have been very inconvenient with the old monitor. Given the easy multi-tasking and increased doc font size, I'm very happy with the screen height, even if shorter than advertised.Also, while I have not and won't use the speakers -- I use a simple exterior speaker system -- I swear the music sounds better because the monitor images are prettier. The music sounds great! There is no physical correlation, of course, but the absolute beauty of this monitor and its images definitely enhances my overall work experience, including the music. Sounds silly, but true. These images are pure eye candy.So, here's my summary:Don't like:-Monitor not remotely the size advertised; much smaller. Make sure it meets your needs at its true dimensions.-No HDMI; will limit future capabilities.-No camera on monitor for ichat.-No comment on the speakers; I don't expect much and don't plan to ever use.- doesn't swivel up or down, but it is nice looking. Works fine and is a non-issue for me.Do like:-Easy integration with a Mac, even with an older video card. Yahoo! Was virtually plug and play with minor display tweeks needed. Included CD helped with easy integration and thank God for the kindness of strangers on the internet (Mac-forums).-GORGEOUS picture quality. Truly fantastic and better than I had ever hoped. I bought this monitor for my brother. It is almost perfect... but there is one thing that bothered me that I just couldn't get over.I have what I call "bouncy leg syndrome". When I'm on the computer my legs are bouncing constantly. This only happens when I'm sitting up straight so I think it's a good indicator of proper posture. Also I think it helps me burn some calories and keep my metabolism up. :pThis monitor is very bright, very sharp, and the colors are fantastic. So the problem I am having is with the stand. It is just flimsy. I tried it on my desk and with my hands on my keyboard and mouse (and my legs bouncing) the monitor started shaking noticeably. I'm bouncing right now with my Samsung 26" T260 and it is solid as a rock. I'm sure this issue might be resolved with a towel underneath the stand but I didn't try. At my brother's house it suffered shaking from kids leaning on the desk and kicking with their feet, etc.The stand needs to be more solid. Everything else is perfect. The external power supply is a great idea. Power supplies do fail and I suspect if yours fails under warranty it will be extremely easy to get a new one, rather than shipping in your entire monitor.Oh, and no this does not include a DVI cable. I really don't know why. I love viewsonic. In fact every monitor we have at work (I work in IT at a state college) is a Viewsonic. There are at least 1000 of them. Yup! That's right, over 1000 viewsonic monitors and we hardly ever have any fail. When we do the return process is very simple with Viewsonic's excellent customer service (not sure if they treat us better because of our outstanding loyalty). We have a lot of older models in storage that still work but have been replaced with wide screen models. Most of the 10 yr old optiquest models (with the built in VGA cable) have all died out.We bought viewsonic monitors about 9 years ago that all came with DVI cables. This was back when DVI was not very common yet. Most viewsonic monitors we purchase now come with DVI cables.

I really like this monitor. The picture is good, and it works well for my basic needs. It doesn't have any fancy connections, doesn't have speakers, and the height doesn't adjust. But that's all just fine with me for my use. I've had many different LCD monitors over the years, all of which have been under $200, so I don't know how this monitor would compare to really expensive ones, but it compares favorably with the others I've had (Samsungs, Lenovos). This is the first LED monitor that I've had, and I think I'm sold on the benefits of LED. It certainly can get brighter that the non-LED monitors that I've had, and the hue can be a bit on the cool side, but the light just looks crisper, if that makes any sense.This monitor uses very low power compared with other LCD monitors with the same screen size. And it's surprisingly thin and light!I don't do any gaming, and I don't watch many videos, so I don't know how the monitor performs for that stuff. I mainly use it for working and programming, and it works well for that. I like to keep the brightness down very far, because my eyes are kinda sensitive to light, and I appreciate how this monitor still looks good even with the brightness set very low. I also appreciate that the screen has a matte finish (not a glossy screen).The only gripes I could make about this monitor are that the plastic casing feels pretty cheap and has a high-gloss look, which I don't like. (The screen itself is matte, but the black plastic around the screen is glossy.) Also, when you turn the monitor on, it shows a big red "View Sonic" for a few seconds before the screen comes on. I think that's cheesy and would prefer that it just went straight to my desktop. But these are minor issues, and if someone stole this monitor, I would buy the same model again.

LCD/LED monitors today generally fall into one of two categories: 1.) cheap, basic units that offer nothing in the way of physical adjustments, and 2.) expensive models with lots of frills. What's available in the second category has become increasingly limited, and the price difference compared to cheaper units can be hard to justify. The ViewSonic VA2342-LED was a good compromise for me. Color and picture quality are excellent, and while the stand is typically flimsy and unadjustable, the unit comes with VESA mounting capability. The 3-year warranty and dead pixel guarantee is a bonus.I'm a web designer and developer, so color and picture quality are critical to me. As I stated above, both are excellent with the VA2342 and I'm very pleased. The picture is sharp and bright, color is vibrant but not overly saturated, and text looks great. I spent a few minutes with the Windows 7 color and ClearType calibration tools to arrive at these optimized results, but it was painless and quick. Like all LCD/LED screens manufactured today, there's an optimum viewing angle the user must determine when placing this monitor. I considered a dual monitor stand for maximum adjustability, but I settled on a sleek glass shelf to raise the displays about two inches off my desktop and it's perfect. I'll post some pics soon which will hopefully be helpful to others. On the downside, the OSD is quirky but no worse than most others I've had to deal with.I split my design and dev time between my home office and an offsite workstation, where I'm stuck with two 22" Dell UtraSharps. My new ViewSonics are a huge step up in picture quality by comparison.

Very happy with this monitor! Crisp with nice color. The stand is probably the best I've seen on a monitor since the days of the old CRT monitors (which were an entirely different animal, of course). The pivot feature is great for word processing and, surprisingly, also nice for a great many websites.I'd only note two minor "cons":1) The sound from the built in speakers is only "fair". I have much nicer exterior speakers already set up, so that's not a big problem for me.2) And with the monitor pivoted to "portrait" orientation, the top of the monitor is so high that it would be nice if the stand permitted the screen to actually be tilted down a little more. I'm fairly tall, but I found that I have to look up to read the top of the screen. You could just raise your seat, if that did not make your work surface too low for you. The stand, apparently, has to have some height to it in order to be able to accomodate the pivot feature.

I purchased this monitor mainly because I wanted ample screen-size (though these days, people have been going even bigger, I hear) and wanted to reduce the clutter on my computer desk. Previously, I had a full 5.1 sound system with multiple speaker cubes and a sub-woofer underneath my desk. As I've greatly reduced the amount of computer games I've played (almost nil), I figured it was time to simplify.On both accounts, this product met my main objectives: 1) larger screen (upgraded from 20"), and 2) no need for separate speakers. However, I'd caution on the second objective, given that I don't really "game" much anymore -- the speakers are quite tinny and not as loud or rich as I had hoped. In comparison, I bought my wife an iMac (horror of horrors for PC lovers!-- but seriously, I'm more of an avid PC user myself..), and its speakers are very rich and very usable for music, etc. These ViewSonic speakers seem weak in comparison in my opinion.All in all, this monitor and its speakers work for me for general computing use. But I wouldn't recommend it for a gamer by any means. These are great though, if you simply want to simplify your workspace.

Good monitor, but quit working after 13 months. Great warranty... I called customer service and spoke to english speaking person who was very helpful in getting a replacement pretty quick. Had to pay $25 to ship the old one in, but the replacement was free.No HDMI - this sucks, but I should have checked for that fact before ordering so this is one me. Wish they invested in HDMI instead of the worthless, horrible, low quality built in speaker.I like the monitor and the stand is fantastic, but hate that I had to spend big money on shipping to replace faulty product (one day I turned on the monitor and heard a faint pop, the power to the monitor then refused to come back on. The replacement is NOT new, it is a refurbished used monitor (faint scratches on back and missing a rubber pad under stand), but works great so far and screen is scratch free.

The screen was great when it worked. However, it kept fading in and out, i.e. going black then coming back on. I had to wiggle the mouse or hit a key for it to go back on. It wasn't consistent but very frustrating. When I called the manufacturer, they said I could either return it to you or them. I have returned it to them and hopefully will get a replacement any day now. If you want you can ask me again in about two weeks, I would be happy to let you know how it turned out..3/4/13 I received the new monitor and it works great. I really like it. My husband has macular degeneration and he was able to see some of the emails I received with picture and he really was impressed. The clarity is very good and everything else is good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I ordered 2 of this primarily due to the glowing Amazon reviews. I also have 2 newly purchased BenQ EW2420's, which was convenient for a side by side comparison.First off, what most of the reviewers are saying about this monitor is generally true. The stock stand is pretty awesome for any monitor. It raises, tilts, and rotates. Has pretty good construction quality, and the nicest thing is that it uses standard VESA mounts, unlike most stock stands. This means A. the monitor actually has VESA mounts (which is getting increasingly rare), and B. You could use these stands on any monitor with VESA mounts.As far as the general picture quality of this monitor, it's really good... for a TN LED panel. I point that out because they were head to head with my new Ben Q's, which are VA panels. (my first experience with VA). Backlight uniformity was generally good on the Viewsonics, but just like all TN LCD's, they weren't quite up to snuff in black levels, which translates to better color reproduction. I calibrated both the BenQ and Viewsonic using a Spyder 3. I was a little upset that this monitor didn't have more manual controls, but I was able to calibrate both to the point where the colors looked almost identical. I opened up a bunch of RAW photo files, and even did some work in Photoshop. It's interesting to see how the Viewsonic shows banding in subtle gradients whereas the Ben Q smooths it out noticably better.On a different note, I happened to get these a week after Battlefield 3 released, so I was able to test them out with fast paced gaming. I was pretty horrified to see really pronounced ghosting/ screen tearing on the Viewsonic. Not going to pick on it too much for this since a super fast response time and good gaming performance is not it's deal, but it's worth noting. Not a very good gaming monitor at all.Very odd as well, to have a monitor nowadays with speakers, but no HDMI. Thought that was a little weird.Overall, it's a really good monitor for what it is. I can totally see why it gets so many glowin reviews, but I think it's overpriced. After actually using it person, I can confidently say that it's a 200 dollar monitor with a 70 dollar stand. That's what you're paying for. I'm not really sure this offers all that much more then a solid 180 dollar monitor, like a cheap TN LED Asus.

The colors are very real on the monitor, much better saturation and contrast than my AOC LED monitor. This monitor is not LED lit and when you turn the monitor on after being off for a long time, it takes a bit of time to reach the intended brightness, only drawback in terms of the display itself.The design is bulky and 10+lbs is heavy for today's standards on a 24". It does have a VESA mount 100x100mm and I am planning on mounting it on a wall since I replaced my main display with a 1440p monitor.

My husband's old monitor died and we bought this ViewSonic at the recommendation of a friend. It does the trick. Cost effective. good picture, easy to install and most importantly, my husband is happy with it. Delivery was fast and I (an aged grandmother) was able to install it in a flash. Since neither my husband nor I are very techno savvy, we cannot tell you anything about the technical side of this monitor, but we can tell you that it does just what we need - provide an easy to read and see monitor for my husband.

I like this monitor for the price and quality. I use it for video editing on MAC. Here's my problem with them. I changed some settings on the monitor and saved them in the menu. When my MAC goes to sleep and wakes up the monitors have put themselves back into the unity setting. So I have to go into the menu and find my setting every time. Annoying. I contacted customer support and no one returned my emails. Annoying.

My wife and I both have Asus monitors. When I went to get a monitor for my daughter, I was inclined to get the same thing, until I saw the price point on this ViewSonic. They were great, back in the CRT days, but my first LCD (about 6 years ago) was a ViewSonic. I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of it.I'm glad that I decided to give them another try. The image quality on this monitor is great, for much cheaper than many others with inferior displays. If you're looking for a good LCD for a low price, this certainly fits the bill.

The ViewSonic VG2436wm-LED is a very nice monitor. I received it from Amazon very quickly and undamaged. It is shipped in the original ViewSonic box, so you may want to be careful if it is left where others can view it when delivered. Hook-up was a snap. I did not hooh up the speakers, because I have very good ones already installed on my computer. The colors and Brightness were set at MAX from the factory. I reset the colors to 95%- and to USER COLOR, as opposed to the factory setting; and Contrast and Brightness to 51% each. I am running Windows XP Pro, and I hooked the video to the DVI (Didital) output of my video card and monitor. I installed the monitor drivers and they went in easily. Newest Drivers are available on ViewSonic's web site, and can be downloaded and installed. I set the video DISPLAY in Control Panel to 1440 x 900 ; and in The ADVANCED SETTING of DISPLAY, I set setting to "CUSTOM' and to 116% of normal size (111 dpi)Applied and Saved. You can play around with the settings to meet your preferences. This gives good lighting and Vivid colors; and Words are easily read. I use this monitor for web browsing, E-Mails, Worp Processing, Spread Sheets, Gaming, and viewing/editing of pictures. I played a few fast games, and found this monitor to perform very well. Be SURE to install The Drivers from the included Driver CD; and restart the Computer. As for the stand(s): I am using this monitor and the smaller monitor in LANDSCAPE view, and the stands for both monitors are definitely sturdy enough in our household applications.I had previously ordered the ViewSonic VG2236wm-LED and was so very happy with it, that I ordered this one, and gave the VG2236wm-LED monitor to my wife. My wife now uses this smaller, VG2236wm-LED for her computer, and I am using the Larger VG2436wm-LED monitor which arrived yesterday. She also really likes both monitors. Again... I did NOT nor will I hook up the speakers in this monitor or the previous monitor, so I can not comment on their performance, so look to the other reviews for the speaker performance. All cables, power cord, and Driver CD are included. The main differences between the ViewSonic VG2236wm-LED and the VG2436wm-LED is that the WV2436wm-LED has a larger screen and is a little more expensive. The larger screen is great for these slightly tired eyes. I can highly recomend the ViewSonic VG2436wm-LED and the VG2236wm-LED monitors; that is why my reviews for both monitors mirror each other.

The monitors are beautiful and well worth the 3.4 Ulysses S. Grants each cost. (Hint: 1 Grant=$50) I am playing Borderlands 2 with them and the colors are sweet and response times very good.There is one issue with one of the monitors. Out of the 6,220,800 sub-pixels on the monitor, one green sub-pixel is constantly on. When the screen is on and black it is like a huge green zit. However, the rest of the time I don't see that sub-pixel. I am not concerned about the sub-pixel killing me in my sleep; and, I've never owned an LCD monitor with a bad pixel, certainly not a Viewsonic. Somehow I feel as though I'm finally able to join a world wide club of despair which makes this one bad, psychopathic sub-pixel acceptable. I belong!I would buy this monitor again and can recommend the Viewsonic brand and this model. No, you may not have mine unless you buy them and pay shipping. And, Amazon might prefer you buy new ones from them.

Hooked it up to laptop no problems, tweaked resolution to highest capacity and color adjust...just thought I would try an cheap off brand to see if there has been any improvements, and guess what, the answer is no.Stick with name brands and you eyes will be happy that you did... and wont leave you blind ! get it ? I had been using an old 22" Proview monitor that I bought 6 years ago, the color and text quality (and eye comfort) on that monitor was always somehow lacking. I work in IT for a large outfit and have to remote in an work from home at times so a good monitor is not a whim it' s a requirement. I order this and hook it up to DVI - WOW. EGADS! Night and day. I run this Viewsonic at full max resolution 1920 X 1080 32 bit, 60hz on a nVidia 430GTX video card. VERY VERY pleased. It's a whole new world from what I was using. I briefly tried the conventional, "old skool" VGA (d-sub) connector. Meh. It was "OK" but nothing to write home about. Changing to the DVI connector brought it up a couple notches in quality. Now I can have Microsoft Word 2010 display two pages at 100% side by side with excellent text clarity (Arial 10 point, 100% magnification) AND still have the 2" wide MS Word 2010 navigation sidebar showing! Maybe this is mundane for your folks but for me, it's turned working on my computer into a pleasure instead of a chore. I have no complaints about viewing angle. I came very close to buying an HP 25" monitor with HDMI input but chose this after the very good reviews. I'm glad I did: the value of this monitor can't be beat. I am seriously considering buying a 2nd one for my downstairs PC.RANT: I never understand the fools who - on most any LCD desktop monitor review - whine about the internal speakers sounding tinny and docking rating stars because of that. Well DUH!! If you knew anything about audio, physics or engineering: You have to have sufficient enclosure space to move air to generate decent sound. You have to bring a product in at a price point. What were you thinking or expecting? Audio-wise, the speakers built into most desktop computer LCD panels are a best-effort joke. They are just enough to listen to the news. Get over it with the sound quality complaints - OR - obtain quality REAL separate speakers.UPDATE: I liked it so much I just ordered a 2nd one.

Bought this as a replacement for a broken flat-screen. I was on a budget and knew I could save on an older model with no HDMI inputs. It's used as a computer monitor as well as a bedroom television. The picture is excellent for my taste and the size is perfect for a small space (as my bedroom at the time of purchase was). Would highly recommend this screen for someone who can get by without HDMI connections.

It was relatively easy to unbox and assemble. First impressions: very light and flimsy. Image is sharp, but color quality is poor at best. Yes, I did adjust and toggle the color options for an hour, but never got any true white (as in Google home page). Still, for the price, can't complain too much.

This is a beautiful monitor. I replaced a 22 inch Sony and this 24 inch seems huge. To think I was considering the 27 inch - wow! It sets up seamlessly (I took their advice and installed the drivers on the accompanying CD) and the picture is gorgeous. And the good news is that ViewSonic has 24/7 support that is easy to access and they helped me with a few questions I had about settings. (Having easy support at your fingertips is a great feature. When I called Sony support about my old monitor they eventually told me that they really don't support monitors anymore so I was up the creek.I didn't actually play with any of the color resolution settings - the defaults seemed fine. My only question was about the size of the screen resolution itself. It wants you to use the max 1920 X 1080 resolution to get the full widescreen experience and it works beautifully at that setting. However, when I log onto my corporate VPN this resolution made the print quite small and I wanted to occassionally reduce the resolution so I could comfortably work on the VPN. However, when I tried to change the resolution to lower numbers, it didn't allow the change. Support showed me that I could use the menu system (buttons on the front of the monitor) to turn off the flag that blocked my making the change and that resolved the problem. They also pointed out that on the CD that comes with the monitor there is a user's guide that would explain all this. But I can always call them...I highly recommend this monitor and I thank all of the other reviewers for their help. They helped me clarify what I wanted. Also, I compared Amazon's monitors with Best Buy - close to the penney in price. However, the local Best Buy didn't carry any ViewSonic monitors - I would have to order on line and they would ship to the store and then I would have to pick it up. Amazon made it so easy - and no shipping charges and it arrived in just a couple of days.PS: I am on a Dell CPU using Windows 7 but I feel certain it would work just as well on the Mac we have in the house because we switch monitors around.

I recently purchased Viewsonic VG2436VM 24 inch monitor and I love it. The display is bright and clear. I use it mostly for work with text and the text display is clear and crisp. I am upgraded from a 19 inch monitor and the extra real estate is fantastic. I gained 20 pixels is height, and 700+ pixels in width. This gave me an ability to tile two documents side by side and be able to reference one while working on the other.The monitor arrived with no dead pixels. My old 19 inch monitor is also a ViewSonic and still runs perfectly after 10 years, I was glad to get another ViewSonic after the good experience with the brand. I am using both monitors to have extra extra screen real estate.The ViewSonic stand felt solid, but I am short and the stand even in its shortest configuration put the monitor too high for me (makes me look up which causes neck strain). This is a common issue for me and I looked for a monitor that had a VESA mount so I can solve this problem by mounting the monitor on an arm (as I have done at my work place). This ViewSonic monitor has a VESA mount. The stand that the monitor comes with is attached to the VESA mount, and it is easy to remove and replace with an arm mount. I bought Ergotron LX Desk Mount LCD Arm, which allowed me to place the monitor 3 inches lower than where it was located with the Viewsonic stand. This placed the monitor practically at desk level. I attaching a photo in customer photos under the Amazon stock image. The photo demonstrates this 24" ViewSonic mounted on an Ergotron Arm and the old 19" Viewsonc next to it for the dual monitor set up.This monitor is used on the PC that runs both Windows and Linux. Linux automatically picked the screen resolution and font size that I liked. In the Windows system I used "large font" option on my 19" Monitor that became too small for me to read comfortably in the new resolution, and I had to change the font size to extra larger under "Appearance tab".Overall, I am very pleased with the monitor and recommend it.Ali Julia review

I'm happy with the quality of the display and I like the ability to have it turn off automatically. Not so happy with the sound quality. But I think that is more a function of the sound card in my older laptop. All around it's a good monitor for the price.

Considering this is an LED monitor it isn't an awful value. The picture quality is decent and it's quite bright as well. That said, I am returning this item because of an odd pulsating effect that won't go away by tweaking the picture settings. I'm not sure if this is a defective item or if this is just how the monitor performs, but I'm not exchanging it because I'd rather not risk it!

I have gone thru 2 displays in under 3 months, it would have been 2 in 2 weeks but they took 6 weeks to shoddily repair the first time. Sent me back my repaired unit after promising to send a replacement (not repair). It died within 2 weeks.

This monitor is everything that is described .... and more. It's a perfect size to watch TV shows and sports games, and the HD is great. I highly recommend this monitor. I was skeptical, since I had never heard of this brand, but after checking big box stores for other brands, I decided to take a chance... glad that I did.

The Samsong monitor died and I bought this. Nice quality and no installation issues. The image quality is top notch!I've had this monitor for 3 months now and I'm very happy with the quality and resolution. I noticed the definition oftext characters immediately after installation. I don't usually write reviews unless a quality product deserves recognition.

If you need a monitor this is a good one. If you need a monitor with built-in sound look elsewhere. The audio output is from a single poorly placed speaker at the back of the unit - the volume is low and the sound quality is reminiscent of a 1960's transistor radio.But as a monitor it's actually quite good. I've always admired ViewSonic products for their visual quality and this one does not disappoint. It has become my primary monitor for displaying and editing map data and it does a great job.

I purchased this to replace the 21 inch ViewSonic monitor that I had been using. Photography is a hobbie for me and when ever I replace a monitor or printer I worry about how accurately the color is rendered. The colors on this one looks just like the old monitor. All I had to do was bring down the brightness some and it looks great. I don't use the speakers so I can't comment on that. The wide screen allows me to have multiple windows open at the same time. This is my third ViewSonic monitor and I never had any problems with them.

I bought one last year, and this is the second one, I want to make a dual display.This product is good, if you're looking for monitors, this should be a consideration.

I LOVE this monitor! I'm building my own computer and bought a couple of these monitors for it. Both work wonderfully and I am incredibly pleased with them. They are bright and the color is great. No complaints so far--I'd definitely recommend them!

Moving from a dual monitor setup using HP 19" LCD monitors to this widescreen LED monitor is a great improvement. I sit in front of these screens 80% of my day at work. My eyes used to be extremely tired at the end of a work day, but these ViewSonic monitors are very crisp and have excellent contrast for a very affordable amount. They may not be "professional" or CAD level, but the difference is quite evident when I go home and have near normal vision in the real world.The height of the monitor is slightly less than I am used to with two monitors side by side in portrait mode, but the width and the great detail provided at this price level make these a product I can recommend to any office worker who needs a large work area. We have had no issues with this or two very similar offerings from ViewSonic (Viewsonic VX2453MH-LED 24-Inch Ultra-thin Widescreen LED Monitor - Black).One caveat is you must use either a standard VGA cable or DVI cable. There is no HDMI connector on this model (VA2431WM).

It's A. Large B. Cheap C. Displays great resolution D. It's LARGE (I said that already). Works better with the DVI-D cable if you're looking of HD (I'd toss the VGA cord). The speakers do work but don't expect anything great out of them. It doesn't come with a DVI-D cable so don't forget to order one if you're getting it.

I bought myself a large screen so our administrator at was fighting over a 19 inch monitor so we go her this one. She loves it.
