great picture, 3d works great, compatible with my existing ceiling ... great for the price... all I wanted was to upgrade my projector to one compatible with my ps4 but with a budget.

I bought this projector for work and it is great! It is easy to setup (I pulled it out of the box and had it working in less than 5 minutes). The projection picture is very clear and the machine runs very quiet and the price was fantastic! The remote works great and is easy to use. I received it quickly and in great shape. I would recommend this projector for anyone needing a quality projector at a great price!

I bought this to replace the Viewsonic PJD5122 because the power supply went out after only 700 hours (warranty had expired also). Hopefully this one will last longer. Don't know about durability of the components but the picture is outstanding for a projector costing less than 300 bucks.

I am writing this from a 5,000 dollar Mac Pro with 3 monitors running hi res. This projector packs an impressive value for the price. I have owned 2,000 dollar or more projectors from dell and other companies and this beats them all by far. The 3D is incredible. I just hooked up a DVI to HDMI cable from the MacPro and played some side by side content I downloaded. The projector is amazing. I purchased a 50" 3D HDTV and the 3D was no where near as impressive as it is with this cheap projector. We are shooting on a white wall about 140" and the quality and experience is amazing VS the price of a TV in this price range. It is small and light weight and easy to travel with. Also, customs in Ecuador don't tax projectors only screens larger than xx". So this thing beats my expectations by far. They could easily have charged $500 for this thing and I would have thought that was still worthy of a 5 star review. Buy it and try it out, return it if you don't think it was worth every penny, even if you own a huge expensive HDTV.

Bad product. Had nothing but problems from flickering and resolution problems. Called in and had more issues with view sonic!!

1. excellent picture quality.
2. all computer files and dvd can be viewed using this projector.
3. 2 computers can be connected to input and one to output.
4. dvd player can be connected and viewed. very good picture quality.
5. for beginners, very user friendly, just connect yellow cord of video to projector ,adjust zoom and focus.
cons
1.no hdmi port.
2.just small mini mono speaker is built in which is not good quality for music.
3. red and white sound cord of your dvd player must go to your external sound system for better sound quality.
4. remote is not lighted.
5. sound cord of your lap top must go to your external sound system for better sound quality.

This projector is a good deal for the price. It contains all the hookups and modern day functionality needed to easily use it.
The only issue I've run into is that the recommended resolution even when I use HD computer resolution is only 800 x 600. Based on the advertising I expected the projected image to be an HD resolution, but it is not.
All in all it's very functional and bright enough for some daytime applications.

Picture quality and the colors are rather good, however, the "screen door" effect is very noticeable and distracting. Picture watching a very large standard definition tube tv through a screen door to picture in your mind what you should expect. I was so impressed with this unit at first but after a while it's flaws took away from my viewing experience so I returned it for a true 1080p unit. Night and day differences between them. If you can, spend a little more on a better unit. If this is all you can afford, it's a good unit for the price and does have a nice picture.

I use this in a daytime art class and it is very crisp without darkening the room. Wish it had a connector for the iPad, I have not yet found a way to do that. So I am using it with a CD and it works great, very happy with it.

Best gift I could have gotten, it's a huge hit! They can use it to play video games or watch movies, the only thing is you need a sound bar or something along those lines to give it quality sound.

The projector works as expected.The images are clear even on a colored wall. I bought this one because of the low price, I've owned it for 10 weeks and I haven't had any issues so far.

With a set of good speakers and sub woofer, this can give you a very good theater experience. I could get 200+ inches screen size with no quality loss .. Can't get bigger than that since my room size isn't all that big.

This Projector isn't exactly designed for gaming or movies(Aspect Ratio), but It can handle both superbly, The only problem i see with this is that you need a big room if you want larger screens, other than that It is perfect. Although i am not sure, it might be compatible with Nvidia 3D vision 2 as well, since it is DLP and 120Hz.

It does everything that I need a projector to do. amazing picture with bluray dvd player. I have a HDMI cable running 40 feet to it where its mounted and it delivers superb quality.
3D is amazing. Glasses were hard to find, but finally did in my budget here on amazon.
Watching football games and action movies on this is just so much fun. All my friends are jealous of me.
So far so good.
