I absolutely love this projector. My livingroom has lots of light and I don't have any blackout curtains, just cheap white blinds, and I can still watch very comfortably. Of course it gets better at night. I didn't mount it or anything, just set it on a little table. Extremely easy. I can't believe I paid less than the cost of a TV for this.

We were purchasing this projector for an outdoor movie night for our 10 year olds birthday party. After reviewing several projectors, this had some really fine reviews in reference to image quality. So, we spent the extra $40 -$50. so worth it. The image was so sharp! The speaker was lacking, as the other reviews indicated. We just hooked up our own speakers and it was like being in a real movie or outdoor theater. 35 kids had a blast and so did the parents. We will do this over and over again. We also ran some old home movies converted to DVD. It is really fun. Worth every penny.

Does what it said it would do and more. The picture quality and brightness is outstanding. We do over a hundred fifty presentation a year and this device meets our needs.

So far this projector works great. I use it for a screen that is 11 feet high and 15 feet wide. Outside setting with little surrounding lights. Bought nice blackout screen off internet and the result is that it looks like a real TV screen.

The picture is excellent! My "screen" is my white wall, and the picture is so good that it is confusing my cockatoo. He keeps trying to land on movie characters' heads!

I had this projector now for over a month, and I am still amazed at my picture. I have set up 150 inch screen and picture looks HD even thought it is not. Last night we tested Avatar with 3D and it was great. I bought fairly inexpensive active glasses on Amazon (SainSonic Rainbow Series Black. For price this is crazy good.

My order arrived astonishingly fast, the projector was easy to set up, and the picture quality is fantastic. We have the sound running through a PA and speakers, and it's an instant home theater. I'm planning on buying a 3D blu-ray player next - we were watching football with a light on and fireplace going, and it was still as bright as the picture on our LCD TV in a room with ambient light.

At first I was kind of skeptical ...but I think doing my homework really helped me choose the best for my money. I think is perfect for a teacher ...the remote control is very practical...and the lumens definitely great for displaying it, even with the lights on. The fan for some people may be a little too loud...but I personally don't mind. I highly recommend it !

I bought this projector for my consulting business. It does very well with video fed from multiple sources and has great color, clarity and contrast. The only draw back to the unit is the internal speaker is not very good and I've had to consistently use external speakers run from my laptop via USB, even in smaller rooms.

After using this unit for quite sometimes (mostly for my babygirl's watching movies), I'd say it's below expectation (with regards to excellent reviews that I've read). The VGA output is somewhat clear (flickering at times), focus issue (at times), and HDMI output is not that crystal clear (hooking back my Blu Ray player to my HDTV), and it quickly becomes very hot. I don't know about the audio though, as I always prefer using my audio system.

Did a lot of research - for the price you can't beat this projector! Picture is awesome even with all of the lights on. Has turned my garage into my favorite place to watch sports. The only problem is I need a larger garage because everyone wants to watch sports @ my place :)

I've had the Viewsonic for a couple of weeks now and could not be happier with the performance and quality picture. Everyone that comes over wants to buy one. I currently have it mounted on a Mustang projector mount -Mustang Low Profile Projector Mount (MV-PROJSP-FLAT-B) which really gets it out of the way. I also am shooting the picture onto a Mustang 105" projector screen.
The picture is sharp and gigantic! Even with widows open and ambient sunlight in the room the projector puts out a brilliant HD picture.
The 3D feature is pretty cool. I'm a Directv subscriber and there are now 3 3-D channels that look great. I bought the
SainSonic(TM) SSZ-200DLB 144Hz 3D IR Active Rechargeable Shutter Glasses and they work very well with the projector. The IMAX 3-D movies look awesome!!!
Overall I would highly recommend this projector. No kidding, everyone that sees it wants to buy one.

It's a great projector. Easy set up. Our other projector would let us view a movie on
the entire wall as this one doesnt fill the wall but is very satisfactory to us. Picture quality and price is
very good and the unit is easy to use and very light weight. I would recommend this product.

We have been using this at our church for the past three weeks in larger and smaller settings. The only lack I note is that it doesn't have a USB capability for notebooks that lack a VGA hookup. The unit is bright, light, and easy to use even for the uninitiated. With an adapter, it works with Apple notebooks. This was a good purchase for us.

Great Projector. We use it at our school in one of the classrooms that has southern exposure windows and a lot of bright light, but this Projector works great! Picture clarity is amazing! I recommend it for anyone looking in this price range, you can't go wrong.

As advertised, great lower-budget product with sturdy design and excellent clarity. Will seek out other viewsonic products in the future if they are anywhere close to the design/construction of this model. Highly recommend.

The only thing I can complain is that, there is no lens cover and the weak speaker,
It is a great projector. Great bright picture, works fine even in daytime.
The 3D is good but a little disappointed, but I don’t have another 3D projector to compare with.
It could be just as good as the others. The 3D Active shutter glasses are expensive and sold separately.

Still trying to figure out how to use the 3D function properly. Otherwise, the picture quality of this is awesome. I projection is great and I would have paid more for this. UI/software could use an update at some point, and I'm still trying to figure out how to use the 3D function. But so far it's highly recommended.
