Love the QUALITY of the picture....but not that easy to set up as all the other reviews said......hooked up to my lap top...had to have my kids help figure out the size. Sound is an issue.....got logitec booster and speakers - made the movie experience! I am using this for outdoor movies ....great experience for family and friends.

I purchased this projector to do outdoor movies in a lake community where I own property. All of my neighbors have said that the movie experience from this projector has been wonderful. I have attached a set of Bose speakers to it and it's like a movie theater experience. If you want a great projector for a low price then this is the one. Just buy it, you won't be dissapointed.

The ViewSonic PJD51134 has poor picture quality to state things generously. The picture looks pixilated. It almost appears that the picture is being viewed through a screen door. Considering that my throw distance is fairly close (15ft) and that I have tried moving it both closer and further away, I have simply come to the conclusion that this is a second-rate projector (even for its price range). Very disappointed and will not purchase another ViewSonic product.

I bought this projector after reading tons of reviews and I am thoroughly impressed with this projector. This has to be, hands down, the best projector for the price range it's in. The picture and brightness are amazing and it was very easy to set up. We use it for mostly outdoor movie showings and are very impressed. It has a built in speaker but we haven't had any use for that feature.

This little projector throws a really nice picture! I hook it to my hdmi on my laptop, add some speakers and voila...instant outdoor theater. We use it on a 80" screen at our camper and it could feasibly go larger with nice a picture. Pleasantly happy with this purchase!

We use this for both movie viewing and gaming. We especially LOVE the remote and mounting features.

This projector is the ultimate budget home theater. It's small and light. Easy to set up. HDMI!! 3D!!! (no other components needed, just a 3D BluRay player and the DLP glasses of course). I watch it on a Camp Chef 120" screen on my patio. I use a Bose Portable Sound Dock as my speakers and I'll tell you, I may never go to a movie theater again! The experience is amazing. It takes about 5 minutes to set everything up, then it's showtime. Fresh popcorn (the real stuff, not the microwavable junk) and a soda and I'm ready.
The only con is that there's no lens cover. I suggest you buy a nice case for the projector. Everything else is perfect.

Великолепно
Bright and sharp picture. Big step up from what I have had before. HDMI audio requires some settings in the computer side, otherwise it's just plug'n'play.

We are very happy with this projector. The picture is very good. I am also happy that it has audio in and out ports and a HDMI port. The sound quality is lousy, but it is fine with external speakers that are very easy to connect using the audio out port. Although the projector is inexpensive and low resolution compared to others, we find that the picture (which we project to about 80"x45", pretty big) is excellent. We use this projector with a Roku box (HDMI connection) and external Logitech speakers and we like the system a lot. It operates quietly, as well. (A lens cap would have been a welcome cheap treat from Viewsonics.)

I have a small basement and this projector is perfect for it. This isn't a high end projector but is an amazing value for the price. The picture is very clear and bright. Keep in mind that you will have to have speakers plugged in as the onboard speaker is very weak (no surprise). No complaints at all though.

Product Lists at 8.7 x 10.5 x 3.3, it is actually 8 x 11.5 x 4.25. If you are expecting a rather slim projector, this not the projector for you. Not good for business use as it is way too think and bulky and would always need to be carried in its own case. Only purchase if you are anticipating bolting it in place somewhere and forgetting about it.

Bought this projecter for my home theater. Lots of pros one con users manual could be in form of a booklet vs cd rom . Bright picture high resolution . I have a regular dvd player hooked up have not used the 3d function at this time but im sure it will be amazing judging by the picture quality of regular viewing off of my dvd player i have hooked up . I would buy this projector again if i had to .highly recommend this product .

Did plenty of research (kudos to those who have gone before!) The unit is easy to work picture is bright and vivid. Kids love gaming and we love all things with digital ports! You shouldn't be disappointed by this one.

I use this as my tv and I love it! the picture is awesome ! my only complaint is there isn't anywhere to hook up an hdmi cord when I thought that was one of the features but other than that its great

I love this projector by ViewSonic. I was dreading buying a new UGLY TV to sit in a room. After a lot of thought I started checking reviews of projectors and found out they have come way down in price and improved dramatically in brightness. I have mine shooting on a white wall in my living room with just the blinds turned down. Its definitely not dark in the room during the day and I can see the movies perfectly fine. High recommend this projector for the price and quality. Its small and I can just pack it away when guests come over and frees up more space in my smallish apartment.

It is all great for the price you pay. But if you talk about the little problems then it stands 4 stars. It has a very poor speaker. It is by far not HD in quality. Well it is not claimed so it doesn't matter. It is missing cover for lens. But if you ignore these minor problems then I would say it is a great gadget for homes.

We used this projector so far for two outdoor movies. The picture quality is amazing! We did need to add two extra speakers (from our computer for sound) but the speakers if used in your home are plenty loud enough. We are very happy with our purchase!

This projector is really amazing. It shows blue ray movies pretty close to 1080p and the 3d is surprising great. This projector shows just as well as the high dollar projectosrs. Only problem is the 3d function do not work on the playstation 3 only on 3d players.

Had this for a couple weeks now, and it's great. I wore out an Epson over the last 6 years, having to replace the bulb twice, so decided to try this one instead. The brightness and sharpness are amazing. I managed to set it up right where the old projector went with little effort. The controls are easy enough, and when I did run into trouble, there's a manual on a disc they send you with it. Highly recommended.

First of all the reviews on this site is true. If you love to watch movies at home this is the projector to have. I can't believe the stunning picture this projector delivers. My family will not have to go to the movies ever again I will just wait for it to come on blueray and the 3D is amazing I can go on and on. Add a quality home theater system and it's on believe me.
