Esay to use, plug-n-play, great for my big files i need to take with me to college instead of having to take my laptop! Works fast too.

This product is all that I expected. I particularly like the fact that it has a power saving feature, this is important when you are using a laptop. I also like the design and cushioning of the case.Cost wise it is a better deal compared to flash drives and it is fast.

I have this external for about 6 months. Works perfect so far. No complaints at all. Would probably buy another one, this one is already full, perhaps will get another of this rugged type with more storage.

I purchased this about 4 months ago for an overseas trip, specifically for the anti-shock feature. No way of knowing if that was needed, but the drive handled the trip without problems, was small and sturdy enough that I didn't worry about it too much.

This hard drive has lots of space and is pretty fast. I've dropped it a couple of times, but the data in it is still fine.

Received the hard drive on time..It loads quickly..I have 3 Transcend hardrives and a 4th one ordered..This is a very reliable brand..

I got exactly what I expected from reading the previous reviews. Everything is great: portable, rugged, and good capacity. I just wished there was not the requirement for two cables. Since I have a Mac without USB 3.0, I do not always need both cables, but still...I really like everything else. Unfortunately, I dropped it the second day, but fortunately, it was built for that and there have been know problems.

Honestly, I was terrified when I was two separate USB cables coming out of the box. I prefer minimalism, and I was okay with one USB cable with two heads (in earlier versions), rather than two separate ones. What if I loose one of them?Also, I work in an environment where I have to constantly plug and unplug the drive, and I am a bit confused which of the cable I have to unplug first, so that the drive would spin down correctly. I'm hearing "power failure" sounds. The documentation was no help here.Another thing, USB 3.0 plug into the drive has a very thin wired stick inside. I am afraid I'm gonna break it one day. It's a shock-proof hard drive, which is extremely fragile at the same time.

I've had this drive for over 2 years, using it to store media and backup files. I carry it around a lot, and have dropped it more than a few times, but it's never missed a beat. It's nice and portable and has plenty of space for my needs. It comes with a double USB cable that plugs into two ports at once to draw extra power, but I have frequently left out the second plug and haven't noticed a performance difference.

didn't install the software, there was none- just plugged and played. I have an older PC with XP and it was pretty seamless. the drive works great and I don't know much about data transfer rates or I could tell you about how fast it is- but I have no idea. great device, haven't tested the shock resistance, hopefully it will have a long life. I will be using it as a backup to my main external drive, a small enough, relatively portable device to keep in a safe place with all my data in case my PC and drive gets boosted or burned.

Reliable, although goes with cord for two USB slots, has worked perfectly for displaying videos on my TV with just one USB port. Great value, nice feel. Good without a case.

Please avoid this item unless you know exactly what you are getting. I wanted a simple external hard disk to backup files and transfer files between computers. This device seems capable of these actions but the interface is quite confusing and not at all intuitive. After several hours of research and looking into how to operate it, I finally got off the ground. Bottom line, they need to overhaul the software so that it is clear how to operate the device. Also, including clear, simple written directions with the purchase is always nice.

This just arrived and was very easy to set up until I saw that it requires the use of two USB ports. My laptop only has two USB ports and one is in use for another device. So this negates the use of Time Machine which automatically backs things up. The description said nothing about using two ports.

I purchased this to back up my Pictures from the main computer. currently only have about 8 gigs or so of pictures. I am not a "computer guy" but have some skills. this portable hard drive is very very easy to use and will give you comfort that your important items will not be lost of your computer crashes. this will not store your programs like Photoshop, lightroom etc but all other "documents and pictures" can be stored with ease.

Works very well. Sturdy look and feel. Easy install/connect with XP Home and Windows 7 machines. Needed two USB ports on XP. Do not connect through USB HUB, however; use two direct USB ports. My XP will not boot if StoreJet is connected, so I keep StoreJet unplugged, connecting it after normal boot.

The outer box was squashed so I was concerned about the hard drive. The internal package was fine and the hard drive works great. It mounts my desk top quickly and files transfer quickly also. Now my husband is borrowing it to store some of his files. It is small, light weight and seems rugged. I highly recommend it.

This product was very easy to set up and begin using. I have backed up all of my pictures and music in a really short time. I would recommend this product to anybody who wants a hook up and use product. The only negative is that it takes up 2 usb drives on my computer, but I have plenty so it wasn't a really big deal. Great for the price
