Poor quality software. Bought it for my mother in law because I thought it would be easy to use. The button is supposedly "one touch" and does not work well at all. I am computer savvy and this product stinks.

I was worried that I wouldn't be "techy" enough to know what to do with this back-up system once I got it but it's just a plug in and follow the directions on the screen kinda thing. Easy peasy and the peace of mind that all my photos and files are safe is WELL worth the price!

This drive is fast. It is faster transfer than my Samsung which also has USB3.0 support.Not sure because of the HDD or just the interface, but it is much faster (almost double the rate).It is well built.Yes, I would recommend this to my friends.

I had previously purchased a similar 360 gig 2.0 USB storejet several years ago, and have never had any issues with it. My wife needed storage for all her pics, so I gave her that one, and ordered this 3.0 750 gig for myself, it's every bit as good as my previous unit, just faster, and more storage capacity. I can't recommend the storejet enough for an external drive! I've had other more "name recognized" external drives, that ended up being poorly designed, or just flat out died on me after a short period of time. Not so with the transcend...it's met and exceeded all my expectations for an external storage device.
