I replaced my old Dlink router (suspect problems with video camera output connection loss). The easy start disk simply would not connect to the internet. They referred me to the manual. The manual was in Spanish, but from the pictures I saw I could connect to the router via a browser 192.168.1.1 (this is a different default from other wireless routers). Selected the Easy Startup and things were great. connection loss problem is resolved. UPDATE: Started having problems with unit after a couple of months. Unit seems to be suffering from overheating. I placed the unit at an angle (one side on top of modem, one side on desk top - to allow better ventilation through the bottom vents). That seems to have solved the problem.8 months - Unit finally became so unreliable I replaced it with another just like it. Hope the second unit last longer than the first.

Arrived on time in perfect condition! This router is the best for its price. It's small and light weight; very portable. And oh so easy to set up! Would definitely recommend.

After owning this little jewel for over one year I can honestly say this is the best wireless router I've ever owned. Setup is fast and easy including the security. Having owned other routers before I was halfway familiar with setup procedures so I skipped the disk and just fired it up and followed the prompts. Within ten minutes it was up and running and not once in the past year have I ever needed to reset it or do anything other than move it around a little to get the best signal coverage in my home.The only downside I can find is that tech support is in China. One time I thought the router was causing a slow connection and I attempted to resolve the problem with tech support and the language barrier became a problem. As it turned out, the slowdown was caused by my ISP which initially refused to admit they had a fiber optic line cut a couple of hundred miles away. The router was not to blame.For the price you simply can't beat this unit, it has provided the most bang for the buck of any router I've owned. It runs cool and the coverage area is as good or better than on Linksys and D-link routers I've used in the past. At times with guests in my home there have been as many as 5 computers and 4 cell phones logged in at one time with no problem. I also have one computer connected directly to the router via cable and it streaks along flawlessly.Even if you are a first time wireless router user you shouldn't have any serious problems setting this one up. It recovers quickly from power outages and can essentially be ignored after the initial set up. I can't vouch for other TP-Link routers but if they are anything like this one they will be worth getting when the time comes for an upgrade. I am extremely impressed with this product and have intentionally waited over a year before publishing a review.

This router would not work no matter what I did. I had high hopes after reading all the other reviews and hearing how easy it was to set up, but the one I received would not transmit a working internet connection whatsoever. I hooked it up exactly as the instructions showed, and it showed that I was connected to the network but had no internet access. Well, the ethernet cable that came with this was kind of cheap so I thought maybe it wasn't making a good connection; I tried one of my cables that I knew worked to no avail. I tried every combo of cable to port I could imagine but nothing worked. Customer service wasn't able to figure out my issue either.Overall, I am very disappointed with this purchase.

well i thought at first that this router was very easy to set up that was til the wan light kept flashing and it would not let me finish installing it. A message kept popping up failed to verify router settings, Wan connection type and parameters needed to be checked and to check network connectivity! I checked everything and worked on this for hours. i even called the technical support and i couldn't even understand the man who i was talking to! Very frustrating!

Al conectarlo se perdia la senal tenia que apagarlo y volverlo a prender asi lo estube trayendo como tres dias hasta que me canse lo reporte y no recivi respuesta lo tire a la basura.

Very very slow. It felt like I was using dial up and I was only a foot away from the router. I don't recommend this and I don't know how it got such great reviews. I called tp-link and they said this router was at 25% the speed of my old router and my old router was a basic linksys ....nothing fancy. He recommended I get the:TP-Link WL TL-WR841N 300Mbps RouterSetup was easy---with the phone support for my Mac.It appeared to have good signal strenght BUT it's just has very slow speedstech support was extremely helpful

I bought a TP-Link WR340g from an Amazon Marketplace supplier (already forgot who!). The price was right, but.... When I set up the router with the accompanying software, it didn't work. I called the support line and then the fun began. Nobody can speak intelligible English. It is Chinese based support and the people speak English very poorly. It takes forever and ever to get even the simplist point across. Eventually they did get the router to connect but only in unsecured mode and only after making all sorts of changes to my Widows XP set-up. It took three trys to get that far. I have yet to get a secured connection set up. I'd suggest trying another brand.

You plug it into the internet, it works. It has MAC address cloning for those nasty Comcast cable modems as well. Only does g standard, but 54Mb/s outght to be enough for everybody.

Not much to say. I was looking for a cheap wireless router to replace one that had gone from unstable to defective. I've had it for about a month now, and I have never had to restart it. It works, and it wasn't hard to set up.

Bought this one recently as I was looking for a reliable 802.11 G router. Its been more than a month now and is working perfectly as a home router should. Its really easy to set up and has excellent connectivity and great download speeds. Very reliable and hasn't given me any problems so far. Is really compact and does not take much wires and space. I sometimes get download speeds as high as 1.5 MBps (as good as a a wired connection). Would definitely recommend this one for someone looking for a home router with around 3-4 laptops/phones connected simultaneously. Not sure if it is capable of handling more.

Based on the price and previous reviews, I bought this WiFi router. I unpacked the box, plugged in my HughesNet satellite modem to this router, ran the included LAN wire to my PC and ran the set-up disk. 5-minutes later my PS3 recognized the WiFi router and I downloaded an update to the PS3 via WiFi. The PC and the router are 60' feet and three walls away from the PS3...works like a charm. This product is money! Great buy, great price. Easy set up, no problems at all. If you need a WiFi router, just click 'Add to Cart'!

For twenty dollars what more you can you expect? Its cool for the house. I am always away so its off most of the time. I have never had a problem besides losing connectivity. (And I dont think it was because of the product.) I say OK because I have worked with professional grade equipment.

They liked it. It was for an IPAD and it worked great but you will need a computer and router onsite IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SET UP AN kINDLE OR ipad...to set it up other then that GREAT!!!!!

Used this with a TP-Link WL RT TD-W8960N, configuration was a push-button experience. Plug it in, press one button, press the other bitton, and you are good to go with a secure network.

I often go by the reviews in Amazon when I purchase - this little router is inexpensive and works perfectly. I've used it in the states and in Central America and it worked there and here. The only glitch, and this might be my lack of knowledge, I can't get to the routers control panel to set up login and password via wireless connection.I asked for 2nd day delivery and that is the only thing that didn't work. That's a Amazon review not the TP-Link Router

I had been using another router from TP-Link and it never let me down. However, i had to ask for a refund on this products. Even though i'm a software developer I couldn't make it work, tried twice with different products.

I thought this router sounded awesom, that's why I ordered it. It's nothing special. In fact you could get you could get a Linksys or othe cheap make that is better quality than this one. Would not recommend.

Not bad for the money, worked great other than having to be reset a couple times a day. If you can afford it try to get one a little more high end.
