Installed easily but it keeps diconnecting for some reason. Almost seems like it has a time out feature. Reinstalled our previous D-Link and connection nevetr faultered. Re-installed this TP-Link and it started diconnecting again every hour or so. Windows 7 power settings set to always on with network adapters set to not disocnnect. Assuming its an issue with the TP-Link.

Although I've seen a lot of good reviews here, I wasn't able to get good results from this adapter. Previously, I was using a cheap g wifi adapter, and that product outperformed over this product. It was weird to see speed fluctuation while running network benchmark test. Connection was 300Mbps when there was less network traffic, but when busy, the link speed went down to 210~270 and sometimes 1XXMbps. It was less stable than the cheap product I was using. I live in a brick house so probably that made this difference. My decision was to use the old adapter and return this product.

Bought this to hook up a new desktop system to our historical society's wifi network.Step 1: Plug into computer using supplied USB cableStep 2: Install driver from included CDStep 3: Connect and enter password (one-time)Took all of 2-3 minutes! Windows reported excellent connection and I didn't even have to extend the antennas.Our network is currently Wireless G - but this connected with no problem. Router is in another room about 40 feet away.Used to download and install several hundreds of MB's of OS & application updates, anti-virus, and firewall software. Connection remained solid entire time.

This is my second purchase of this item and I highly recommend the TP-Link Wireless N TL-WN22N. I replaced two wireless PCI N cards and the difference is like night and day. I think the problem with PCI cards is that they are located behind a computer which may be behind a desk or other furniture and I think that may be responsible for their poor performance. Since this device is tethered to a USB wire and it can be put in a more clear path to the signal the difference is significant. The price is in the same ballpark as most PCI cards so if you don't mind this small device in view it is a winning proposition. My two network locations went from -49dBm and -60 dBm to -31dBM and -38dBM with this device. I have bought four TP-Link devices and they are a big surprise. Before that I had never heard of this brand. My only wish is that TP-Link would start making their products in black to match all my other components.

I live in a 2 story home with reinforced concrete floors, so I wanted something to increase my wireless strength. It's a good product, but it actually decreased my signal strength by about 20%, while greatly increasing my Mbps speed to 150. So, what to do. Never heard of a powerline av adapter kit before, but bought a kit and am loving that. Much better than any wifi. The TP-Link was excellent when within 25 feet of the router on the same floor, not so good on the second floor, just ok. Good value, wouldn't make sense to return.

First few week worked like a dream. Now however it is dose not like to connect. I will load a web page fine but once I click anything in that website it says I have a network error. So I took the adapter off and used an ethernet cable and what do u know my network no longer has errors. try another brand!!!!!!!! I am.

This TP-Link TL-WN722N Wireless adapter works great on Ubuntu-10.10 without installing its driver CD.Additional info:-The driver CD comes with it is smaller disk and it will not fit a CD/DVD drive of a laptop, if there is no Tray coming out of the Laptop to place the CD.Some of the latest laptops DVD drives are built within and need to just insert the CD/DVD and drive will automatically pull the CD/DVD inside.To take it out we needed to eject out by using eject keyboard button. (Also, it is possible, one could use another PC to burn this CD to a bigger CD and use it )However, the product works great, I have purchased this for Ubuntu 10.10 (Linux) and which could not able to recognize built in wireless card of my Dell Studio laptop. As soon as I have plugged this to USB port, instantly it picked up lists of available wireless connections. Just select your connection and provide SSID and pass code, thats it.This package is compatible with Windows 7 / Win XP as wellGreat product.

First let me say that the TP Link did perform considerably better than the receiver in my laptop, but when I put it up against the old "g" technology of the "Alfa 1000mW 1W 802.11b/g USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter", that I purchased from Amazon only last May, the Alpha was better in every way.Alfa 1000mW 1W 802.11b/g USB Wireless WiFi Network Adapter With Original Alfa Screw-On Swivel 9dBi Rubber AntennaI tested both in multiple locations and the Alpha not only found on average 3 to 5 more Access Points, but the meter in the little utility I used, [WirelessNetView - go to CNET for free download], showed a 10% to 25% stronger signal across the board when using the Alpha. This TP link may be more useful if one already has a "n" router, but for now the Alpha, though a bit more expensive, is superior. If you still have a "g" or earlier router, go with the Alpha. I sent the TP link back with no problems.

Worked out the box for me with both Ubuntu 10+ and Fedora 14+. That's exactly what I needed, and I haven't seen any cons so far. I'm very happy with this product. It even looks good!

I bought this after constant reception problems with other brands. Having read many reviews the TP-Link seemed worth trying. The antenna helps but the unit itself is really powerful. You can pay much more for similar products but this one does a great job.My only complaint is the antenna gets in the way when plugged in the back USB slots. I used a USB cable to get enough clearance around the plugs for other devices. This method is probably better anyway since the unit can be raised up above the desk.

Went to TP Links easy to use website. Downloaded the appropriate software/drivers and pluged the TP Link into the USB port. I entered my wireless password and Badda Bing, Badda bow I have a maxed out 5 bar wireless connection from across the house. It works way better than the wireless card that came with my notebook. I ordered two more. This thing is amazing and for the money it's nothing short of remarkable. I have sat in my car in parking lots that I could barely get a wireless signal and now have a solid wireless connection. Order this, you'll love it!

Going from two bars on a $60 Linksys N adapter to FIVE bars is more than impressive. My connection speeds are faster than ever, now. Definitely the best adapter I've bought in history, and definitely tells me TP-Link is who I need to make my future purchases with. Thank you for making a great adapter, at a great price.

It has my respect for two reasons. First, It pulls in a signal from somewhere, not on our acreage. And secondly, anywhere I've tried it, it has an outstanding, full five bars signal.This is paired with an AT&T 2wire wireless G router and has no loss, I can find.The Only con is you must D/L Win 7 driver from their site, which took 30 seconds to locate and download. XP and Vista drivers on disc supplied.It made my first wireless box happy, the rest remain hardwired, "for now".Simple, Painless, Secure.If you are looking for something reliable, this is currently $20 shipped to your place.Get you one.To test I had 4 secure pages and 2 different HULU channels playing and a few web pages, all open concurrently, and each was clear and fluid.

I am very happy with this adapter. It's cheaper than most competitors, yet performs much better. I have a half dozen different wireless adapters in my house. I bought all different models to test them out. This TP-LINK is by far the best performer. It sees more wireless networks and maintains a better connection.It is much bigger than most USB adapters, especially with the big antenna sticking out the side. But that's the price you pay for better performance. I also had to install drivers on my Win7 64 computer. Most USB adapters are plug&play.

Worked like a charm! plugged the TPlink WN722N into the USB drive, installed the driver and browsed the internet!! Good signal strength, no dropped connection, works fine in Windows 7 home edition, 64 bit.

Великолепно
Worked as soon as I plugged it in. Gets a great signal and is portable. The price was very reasonable and in my experience this device works a hundred times better than some of the more expensive products out there.
