Была проблема с драйверами под Windows 8 (x64). Решил просто, кинул инет по кабелю, и Windows Update сам нашел драйвер для TP-Linka. Обнаружился как Atheros AR7015. Драйвера так же можно найти в инете, набрав Atheros AR7015 в поиске.

Купил за 700р. Доволен на 100%. Пусть нету 5ГГц (хотя мой роутер тоже...

Опыт с этим устройством более года (ver 1), всю зиму на балконе стоял. Идеально подходит для вардрайвинга (ver 1). При покупке советую смотреть на нижней стороне адаптера, версию продукта, вторая версия разочаровала...

Был куплен как замена D-link DWA-140, который не справлялся с обработкой сигнала от роутера. Задача была организовать прием сигнала на 30 метров, через пять бетонных стен. У D-link прием был не всегда, скорость загрузки очень медленно и невсегдаю. TP-LINK TL-WN822N справился на оценку хорошо, сигнал стабильный и скорость возрасла.

Уверенный приём, скорость интернет как по тарифу 60 Мбит/с, копирование файлов по сети от 15 до 40 Мб/с ч/з одну стенку. Роутер TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND.
Впервые получил скорость приёма по воздуху выше чем по проводу на скорости 100 Мбит/с.
Всем рекомендую.

I expect this thing to last at least until December 21 this year, when of course the Mayans have scheduled the world for demolition. :PHere's my take on the TP-Link TL-WN722N Wireless USB Adapter:-------------POSITIVES:-------------** It really, really works like mad. ** I get constant download speeds of 12Mbps+, which is close the the max of my internet bandwidth.- It's very cheap cost-wise for the great performance it gives you- It's small(ish), though it will look big connected to your laptop- Comes with a 3' USB extension cable which I definitely recommend using. It helps position the device, and keeps it from crowding your laptop or from being destroyed by being knocked out of your PC's front USB port.- Has a diffused green LED under the white plastic to let you know it's working, instead of the blinding blue LEDs that everyone uses these days. The light turns off when it's not powered (like when you hit Standby on your PC). NOTE: It's still annoying in a dark room when I'm trying to sleep, but a few post-it notes helps that.- The software is relatively simple to install and use, and allows you to use other products to manage your WiFi instead.- The current driver, software, and documents come on a mini CD and are all up to date with what's available on TP-Link's web site- The documentation is good, but it could use some more detail.----------------------MINOR NEGATIVES:----------------------- The TP-LINK Wireless Client Utility is functional but could be more intuitive. A configuration "wizard" would be a good improvement for manual configs. (It has been updated as of Jan 5, 2012 - see below)- Manual configuration (which you need if your network is securely hidden and requires a pass code) isn't well-documented, though you will be able to get it to work with the document, and maybe a little trial and error. If your setup is totally open security-wise (this would be BAD), you will have no problem with the software.- Even if the driver is installed incorrectly, the client utility may report enough information to make you think it is installed. When in doubt, do a complete removal of the software and drivers and re-install.- The QSS software that comes with the device is ONLY usable with other TP-Link products. Don't bother installing it unless you have a TP-Link Router/Access Point that has QSS built in. (As of the client update on Jan. 5, 2012, it appears to be installed automatically)------------------------UPDATED 01-23-2012------------------------- I've kept track, and this device has worked well even with interference from Coronal Mass Ejections from the sun (sunspot activity), though I have noticed that the performance decreases (could be other things along that long internet path, as well).- I now have a TP-Link TL-WA901ND 2.0 Access Point, which this device works well with. Unfortunately is does NOT connect at the advertised "150Mbps" potential speed when it's configured to do so, but I never really expected it to. My max internet connection of 13Mbps is far below that high rating, anyway.- The latest WiFi utility for this device is up on TP-Link's web site as of Jan. 5, 2012, and I'm a bit disappointed with it. On the plus side, it is probably simpler to use - which is a good thing for most users, but it's been dumbed down to remove all of the extra connection info power users like me appreciate. The message windows are also annoying and the English grammar is sometimes embarrassingly wrong. It also looks a bit cheesy compared to the previous utility version. At least it works well.- It is difficult to tell if the actual hardware drivers have been updated, because software info on the page for this device is really incomplete. It looks like they are not updated since I originally posted this review.- I still benefit from disconnecting and reconnecting the device once in a great while, but the problem that causes the lowered performance could be my PC, the access point, or electromagnetic interference. Hard to say.- To date, 4 people were helpless in the face of my review - maybe it put them to sleep. Alright, so when I typed in "Wireless USB N Adapter," the top two choices was the TP-Link TL-WN722N and the Medialink - Wireless N USB Adapter. Truthfully, I first bought the Medialink because it has a near perfect 5 star review with over 1,340 reviews. That's astounding. And it holds true, I still use it on my other computers without a fail.Then I needed another USB N adapter for another desktop computer, the TP link was $5-6 cheaper depending on when you bought it. So I thought "hey, why not test this one out." It only has around 400 reviews, but all share satisfaction. But I wanted to do more than give a 5 star review and say, "it works. whatever."Since I'm Asian, and time is nonexistent to me. But a human can only handle so much repetitive clicking.So as you can see, I gave this TP-Link 5 stars because even though both were great and worked flawlessly with Windows 7 (didn't even have to use the CD). The medialink edge out a couple more MBs during testing. Mostly likely due to the antenna it has. Providing a greater range than the media link. The two devices were tested using the same computer and circumstance (e.g not moved close to the router)However, I do give points to Medialink for providing a nifty looking base. (they both come with USB extenders) But in all honestly, it really comes down to aesthetics and whether or not you really care about 2 more MBs reaching you. I like 'em both, but I give this one an overall winner.- Cheaper-"longer" range = faster speeds- And it's a pretty white cooler.There you go, just my two cents....and then some.

Bought this for my Raspberry Pi and it works like a charm. No need for drivers or anything. Although it's not dual band, it get great reception and was easy to set up. Added value in the included USB extension. The only thing that would have made this better would have been a stand, but I had some Logitech extenders laying around that I used to prop it up on my desk.

But did not read the entire description of the device, thought I was b/g/n and it is only b/g bought it 'cuz it matched my router and repeater but Hay, Works well with no problems except the missing (n) lol!

Needed WiFi adapter for Linux mint desktop, this one worked out of the box.I would recommend it to anyone with Linux.

Picked this up to connect a new receiver to my wireless network. Has worked perfectly for 2 months now & I don't even have to think about it.

I tried this thing and sent it back. I actually got a better signal on my laptop without it. Don't bother.

I play games plenty, and any older game that is online will overheat this thing and cause disconnects every hour. I had mine 60 days or so (no more warranty) and finally just smashed it after 2 months of non-stop disconnects. Seriously, these 1-star ratings mean more than the 5-star if you are a gamer because this thing simply doesn't perform.Disconnects aside it has the same exact performance as the older Wn722N adapter, in fact sometimes worse. Not sure why, it's bigger and has more antennae. I never had trouble with the Wn722n adapters, they go as fast or faster than this, and no disconnects. TP-Link took a step backwards with this adapter.EDIT: Appending this review, I have ran through several WN722N adapters that would slowly start getting disconnects then dying completely after a few months. The WN722N still gets better performance than this adapter on this page, though, so while both are unreliable at least the cheaper one works better.

I read some reviews of this adapter that mentioned potential problems, and others praising it's performance. When I ordered I hoped to be in the praising group. That wasn't to be. I plugged it in to a Windows 7 computer and it wasn't recognized. I swapped the cable and it still wasn't recognized. I tried other USB ports and other computers and I realized it wasn't going to come to life, no lights, no plug and play recognition. The unit was so light weight that I could almost believe that it was a simple, empty plastic box. I requested a refund and am waiting for a response from the seller.

I have an Abit Airpace in my desktop and I am only getting 2 bars of signal from where I am. Internet was unstable (disconnects and choppy streaming videos) so I decided to find a high gain wifi adapter. I tried ALFA adapter but that didn't work out so I got this. This wifi adapter has a pretty good signal range. It isn't 4x the range like it claims to be but more like 2x the range of normal wifi adapters. I got 3-4 bars of signal with this adapter and it is pretty fast and stable. I have been using this adapter for over a week and I am liking it so far. The looks of it is great and I like the led and the white casing. It is also very nice of them to provide an usb extension cord so it wouldn't take up all your usb slots and prevent you from breaking it also. Installation was not plug and play for me though. I have Windows 7 64-bit professional and I had to browse the cd for the driver and then get the updated driver from the website. It's not too bad. Overall if you're thinking to get a high gain wifi adapter, get this one instead of the ALFA 1000mW one. The ALFA one gives you full bars of signal but internet is not as stable as the TP-LINK adapter.Please comment if you have experience with other high gain wifi adapters. I am still looking for better ones.

I bought this High Gain WiFi Adapter to be fixed onto my Media player as a replacement for my nano USB WiFi adapter which is pretty slow over the distance. However, upon trying to fix this TP-Link adapter it was not being detected by my Western Digital LiveHub media player. I tried to contact the TP-Link support and they mentioned that this is NOT A PLUG-N-PLAY device and needs to have driver installed.I have to return the item if the media player company does not provide the driver.

Worked well when I got it and was able to connect to a variety of routers and setting types including WPA2. Also has great range and works well through walls. My router is located about 12 feet away from the dongle and I always had full connections. However, after 2 months of daily use it suddenly died. It refused to connect to my computer and others I tested it on. I also noticed that I hear a rattling sound in there that could be part of the problem. This is the second one I've owned and the first one that stopped working. I am going to see if I can get it RMA'd and see how well their warranty/service performs.

I am a soldier in Afghanistan where I live in a tent. The nearest internet hotspot is about 120 meters away behind a 1 foot thick concrete blast wall. Before I purchased this relatively inexpensive 'high-gain' antenna I had to leave my tent and walk outdoors towards a signal to connect to the internet.Now, not only am I able to connect, but I have twice as many choices of networks to connect to. This little gadget is awesome! The upload and download speeds are good enough for SKYPE. It is one of the best devices I've purchased since I've been here.

I am very impressed with this adapter.I've never tried to use wifi with any of my desktops, but after moving one of my systems to a room that wasn't pre-wired with RJ-45 ports, I began looking for a wifi adapter.My initial instinct was an internal PCI adapter, but I stumbled across this one which turned out to be great luck! When testing it with my laptop, I get 5 bars wherever I go in the house... even outside.Additionally, the capability to position the adapter wherever you like is a huge plus.
