Хотелось бы отметить Gravity Rush, Killzone: Mercenary, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Unit 13, Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified, Resistance. Также, имеется множество портов других игр, таких как Borderlands 2, Assassins Creed Chronicles/III Liberation. Need for Speed Most Wanted, Minecraft, Terraria, Risk of Rain, MK9, Tekken и тд.
I saved up 10 weeks allowance for this machine and a week before leaving town, finally had enough dough to pull the trigger. I was so excited that I actually did an unboxing video for it. (search Youtube - "Amazon Refurbished Vita 1000 Unboxing" I also knew that it did not come with a memory card or any games so part of the "save up" was for the separate accessory starter kit which comes with a memory card. I also had to save up for a couple of PSN downloads Lemmings and Escape Plan. My unit arrived two days before we left for vacation and was in very, Very, good condition. This baby was almost mint and I would also call it "Perfect". It arrived neatly boxed in the white packaging shown in the user photos. I don't know if these are actually sent back to a "factory" per se, but they are at least fixed and cleaned up by someone who clearly knows what they are doing. The white corrugated box was fabricated in Indiana, so I am fairly certain that these were packaged by someone in the USA.
Inside the box I found:
One OLED PSVita 1000 in pristine condition.
Two basic documentation booklets in French and English.
One wall power cable.
Two power bricks ? (should have only come with one)
Zero/No USB to Vita Proprietary cables required to charge the unit !
You read correctly : TWO power bricks and NO PROPRIETARY USB CABLE required to charge the unit or transfer data.
Basically the charging cable comes in three pieces : A, B, and C.
I received one A, two B, and zero C.
The Vita 1000 arrived with a dead battery, so you can imagine my disappointment when I couldn't even get it to turn on.
I'll jump in here and state that Amazon "made it right" and I am happy now with my purchase after getting the cable, but I did not realize how not-so-common these cables are. I remember when the Vita first came out, the shelves at Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Gamestop and Toys R Us were loaded with these cables and other fun Vita accessories. Fast forward a couple of years, and most of these retailers don't stock any of these accessories anymore. Where I live, finding an OEM Sony branded, proprietary Vita1000 USB cable is not quite so easy. Different aftermarket reviews warn about the trials and perils of using a cheap aftermarket cord which may or may not fit properly, and or damage the unit and cause it to not charge correctly. Leaving for vacation in just a couple of days, I didn't want to wait for an Amazon order to arrive when I was out of town, so I called EVERYWHERE. No one within a hundred miles of a major metro east coast market had this thing in stock. Needless to say, I ended up finally finding one place that had an Energizer Car/Home Charger which contained an aftermarket PSP/Vita charging cable on one end. This split cable, while cool in concept, is less than ideal as the PSP pigtail often bumps the Vita screen when I am using the cord to charge or transfer data to the Vita. After some time on the phone, Amazon did reimburse me for the aftermarket cable I was able to find, but the unit should have come with the original OEM cable and it didn't. SOO Frustrating when I opened the box. I think someone in the packaging facility just made an error. I should also add that Amazon offered me several options on how to handle the situation all of which were to my satisfaction, but I just didn't have time to execute any of them until I returned home a week later.
The unit itself is great, and just what I wanted. The OLED screen is absolutely Gorgeous. The Green on Lemmings is brilliant, and the deep blacks in Escape Plan contrast amazingly with bright whites. The condition of the item was perfect and had it come with the USB cable which it was supposed to have would have been as advertised. There is a small risk of additional frustration with the Refurb which I experienced first hand, but I am pleased with the final outcome as well as the experience with the Amazon customer service reps. Even with the hassle, I am still happy I got the original model with the nice screen. The newer Vita has a MUCH more common non-proprietary micro-usb charging/ data cable which you may already have. Just keep in mind that you can't just run down to the corner gamestop and pickup a couple extra cables if you lose this unique key component which has since been discontinued with the launch of the Vita 2000. It's a factor to consider, but I still recommend the older one with the nicer screen.
I just started using it yesterday and once I got thru the walkthroughs and exploring the device, I was ready to play a game...WHOA! Not so fast...
- I am going to have to ding it on stars because the Vita REQUIRES an over-priced proprietary memory card to load and (usually) to save games and it is NOT included! It also does not say that in the product description. I call that a cash grab by Sony based on their flimsy excuses. (I have submitted a request for the product description to be updated based on information I was able to ferret out from an obscure posting on the manufacturers website, where they admit as much.) That is a major faux paus with the product and the product description, in my opinion. I'll have to order a card now and wait a week to actually try Vita specific games.
- The PSP did not require memory cards to play games so I could understand not including it. But with Vita they should at least give you 4GB. The internal memory is provided but not usable for storing games! That seems silly.
- Although the screen is similar in size to my Android phone, I find the web browser and on screen keyboard much easier to use on the Vita. It is an impressively good and responsive touch screen.
- I linked it to the PS4 easily and used it as a second screen/controller with mixed results. The backside touchpads emulate the L2/R2 buttons. Because you are holding the device, you will hit these buttons randomly which negatively impacted gameplay.
- As far as being able to play an HD game on this small screen, its just not possible to read the text or really play the game using only the Vita screen. I had to just ignore the Vita screen and watch the TV screen, its a mixed bag of trade-offs, but I suppose it is doable with enough patience. I wish there was a way to turn off the screen when you are streaming it from the PS4.
- UPDATE: The custom memory card finally arrived in the mail this week. It was a cumbersome chore getting it to sync with the Vita. It took about 4 rounds of re-inserting and rebooting the device and trying to download a game to get garner success. If you have this problem, just be patient, it might work eventually. Part of the confusion was that the Vita would recognize and list the card correctly in settings, but when trying to actually download to the card, it would fail with a memory card error.
- Now that I have games! Minus 1/2 star again....I realized that the production version of the Vita does not have any TV output! (My favorite feature of the PSP 2000+.)
- For some seemingly stupid reason they deleted the HDMI mini-port that was included in the pre-release versions of the Vita. But maybe not so stupid after all...I read up on the as-yet-to-be-introduced VitaTV, thinking it was an add-on cable or attachment. But it turns out to be a completely separate console device that costs over $100 bucks and essentially replaces the Vita in a very kludgy way (no support for touch screen enabled games, the main feature of Vita games!). I am sensing yet another cash grab by Sony.
- (I know, I know..quit ranting and just give Sony your paycheck already!)
This is a refurbished unit, but it looks brand new. I am totally satisfied with how this thing looks. There are no bad pixels, and the on-screen video looks great. There were no scratches on the unit.
I have 2 other gripes, but they are not that major: The sound from the speakers could be louder, but not a big deal, as the sound is great when I use the PS vita with my headphones. Second, the screen looks good and it is bright to my satisfaction only when I put the brightness at its highest level. Its bright, but I like really really bright, like some of your popular cell phone displays. But, the screen is still bright enough for me to enjoy.
I saved quite a bit of money in this refurbished unit, and I am certain that there is no difference between this unit and a brand new unit....except for the huge price difference.
I thoroughly am enjoying this device, and I would definitely recommend it to you and anyone else that considers themselves to be a gamer.
Now having had the unit in my hands I can see both why I was right and why I could've misjudged the "Recertified" part at least.
The unit is not almost a bit farther away from "Near" perfect. there are plenty of scratches visible to the naked eye under regular lighting. mostly on the rear part but there are visible tiny "Scratches" that are very annoying when you notice them on screen. the color of the screen where the very small scratches are is distorted when you focus your eyes on them.
While near a light source the back really shows a hefty amount of scratches that are not "Touchable" (As in they're not even slightly deep) but they are sadly very visible. (Again, only while near a light source)
I'm not sure if this is the condition of the unit itself or probably just replaced by the factory but both the silver surrounding the device and the handles on the back seem to be brand new and were not the parts of the original refurbished Vita itself.
The box the unit came in was in good shape, and the contents are:
1. The Vita itself, well cleaned and in a thick plastic container.
2. A USB Cable
3. A charging brick
4. An AC Cable for the charging brick (The entire charging kit I believe is brand new and is not refurbished)
5. Starting guide
Surprisingly, there were no cards for Augmented reality included in the box. although not really useful to me, it is a necessary part of the full Vita experience for anyone who wants to try it.
Overall, I am satisfied with the Vita I got, and I can't complain about any crucial problems or any other problem that changes the experience as a whole at all. It's in good condition.
I'd appreciate more attention to the apparent scratches though. For a recertified unit I expected just a little better.
Slim is very light weight, not as bright, gets about 5hrs battery life, VERy comfy to play, way easier to play video games. I recommend buying those hardshell case. Feel like it can bend in your pocket like an iphone6. Looks VERY sleek matte black. Got it for $159.99 amazon.
All in all I say buy it!
EDIT: 1/21/2015
I do notice the wifi on the slim is WEAKER. I have 2 wifi routers at my home and when I compare the 2. The slim is 10%-15% weaker in wifi compared to the Fat vita. I can be right next to the router and the slim reads 85% and the fat reads 95%-100%. I have yet to see it at 100%? I dont know if thats even possible? I have no idea why it does that but I tested them on both of my routers. And yes of course one vita was off and no other devices were on wifi at the time. Does it effect game play and streaming? Not really because I get good gameplay and streaming at 50%
ALSO I WOULD GET A MEMORY CARD WITH ATLEAST 16GB so you dont have to delete and re download. Got a 16GB card for $20 bucks on a bidding site!
Best gift I've ever bought myself :)
Pros:
- Great Touch Screen usability
- Skype works great on it
- Indie Game Support is fantastic
- Lots of optional add-ons if you want (cases and such)
Cons:
- Memory is expensive. If you plan on downloading games, just drop the money on a large card instead of buying multiple small ones
There were no scratches or scuffs, which I was extremely surprised and happy with. The only signs that it has been used before were that the left analog stick is slightly looser than the right and there is a burn-in on the screen. That normally would bother me greatly, but the only time I've noticed it was when the scenes would change while playing The Walking Dead (plus I've even read about people buying brand new Vitas and having the same problem in just a few days of playing). Either way, the fact I paid a fair price for a factory re-certified system and got one in great condition was a bigger deal to me than those two flaws.
I'm glad I bought it and am really loving my Vita.
If, by any chance Sony reads these reviews they way Adobe reads reviews of its products:
What are you thinking making proprietary memory cards so expensive? It's a portable console! People want to be able to download games on the go and have their whole library there, not have to carry around and/or lose little tiny cartridges. You made it so expensive to do that though that you've strangled your own console. Don't you want digital downloads; sold titles that people can't re-sell or trade in at game stop? News flash: choosing to sell a hand full $10 memory cards marked up 800% instead of facilitating the sales of a ton of games and consoles was short sighted and hurt you really badly in the long run.
1.Does not sync with our PS3
2. You must buy everything separately, including a proprietary memory card that is quite expensive. This does not use the normal Sony SD card...this one is special.
3. Not too many game choices
4. Minecraft has glitches in saving progress
I got the White OLED model for the color since the US only has Black as it's primary console choice, and because of the superb OLED display.
I bought this to mainly play all my old PS1 games while on the go. It does that and it does it splendidly. I found the battery life to be very nice, lasting for about 8-10 hours of game play.
The OLED screen is gorgeous, and I would HIGHLY recommend buying an older Vita model versus the new model. Many people claim the difference is only apparent if one views the two products side by side, but the difference is like night and day. Colors on the newer model feel dull and lifeless, whereas the OLED display is crisp and vibrant. Finally, I would highly recommend buying at least a 32gb memory card, as games take up much more space than one might think.
