The Crystal White 3G/Wifi version was only released in 2 territories. Japan and Asian (specifically Taiwan). All PS Vita consoles are region free meaning you can select the language at system setup and all region games play on your system. US games (English) work on Japanese/Taiwan/UK systems, and vice versa.

I got the White OLED model for the color since the US only has Black as it's primary console choice, and because of the superb OLED display.

What's in the box:You get a white PS Vita (with USB cord and AC adaptor), a 4GB memory card, and the Assassin's Creed III: Liberation game stick/card, some AR cards, user manual, and quick start guide. (You also get a box that's inside of the box shown.)The Vita:The Vita is very pretty and doesn't leave fingerprints on the white. The front-facing touch screen is somewhat resistant to fingerprints too as it was a while before I ever saw some on there. Setup is easy as you just follow the on-screen prompts. It even includes some games in an area called "Welcome Park" that teach you how to use the controls and features of the Vita. So far my experience with the Vita has been great. It feels and plays like a console. It feels like somebody just dropped a TV screen on to my PS3 controller (albeit a heavier one with touch controls). The only thing that bothers me is about the design and the touch pad. It has grips where your hands should go, but being an adult my fingers are a lot longer. At the same time, it doesn't effect anything if your fingers rest on the touch pad which makes me wonder why the grips are there at all. I guess it's in case you're buying it for a young child (my nine-year old niece's fingers are on the touch pad too). Also disappointing was the lack of anything Assassin's Creed on it. They could have made some of their symbols on the touch pad red to make the Assassin emblem. I guess the Vita is working on it's blending abilities. Truly though, the hardest thing about the Vita is finding the right slot for the memory card and game card. It's very user-friendly.4GB Memory Card:While I wish it came with at least an 8GB, the 4GB is good for right now. It's a good deal though since the Vita memory cards are exclusively for the Vita and exclusive made by Sony which makes them expensive.AC3: Liberation:It is awesome. Having played Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines I started out comparing the two, but quickly abandoned that idea as they are just too far apart. It feels and plays like a console game. While it's not as vast as a console version and the missions are shorter that's just what makes it portable. It's easy to pick up and put down. As with Bloodlines and Assassin's Creed II, you can connect your Liberation on your Vita to Assassin's Creed III on your PS3 for bonus content (which is how you can play as Connor for a mission). I didn't like that game came without the case even though it's pictured on the front of the box. I mean, talk about being cheap.AR cards:These are much better quality than the 3DS AR cards which were made out of cardstock. These seem to be printed on some type of plastic or vinyl making them much more durable. Playstation has a selection of free games you can download from their store that you use these with. I haven't played any of them yet as Liberation kept me occupied.User manual and quick start guide:Haven't read them and probably never will. If I ever decide to resell it or a better version comes out, it's in there for the next person.Overall:I'm enjoying everything so far. It has it's flaws, but I still love it. Knowing what I do now, I probably would have thought a little longer and harder about just getting the 3G version, but ultimately I would have bought this bundle again.

The Vita is a beautiful piece of hardware. It's screen is lovely. It solved the dreaded PSP second thumbstick issue. And once again, it's the most powerful handheld on the market. But at the time of this review, I'd recommend waiting a ways down the line for the Playstation Vita.Yes, it's a very powerful machine...but so was its fore bearer. And as has been proven numerous times, power will only get you so far. All that power still eats up the battery(which at this time is imprisoned behind the hardware for the back touch panel, making an alternate means of power a chore to concoct). And that battery life is going to cut into actual portable play. But this isn't a Playstation Portable 2, It's a Playstation Vita. Calling it the second portable Playstation would be silly, seeing as the system is fairly massive for a handheld. If your loved one or significant other is encroaching on your t.v. time, or you just can't be bothered picking up a controller, than have I got a Vita for you. However, if you're on the road, or in the air for a lengthy trip, maybe stick to the smartphone. At the moment, the Vita can't handle it.If you're a parent, and you're trying to distract your young one with a new toy, the Nintendo Wii or 3DS is a less costly alternative. Sure the Vita might make them the cool kid on the playground, or whatever kids are playing on currently, but a new Pokemon is going to eventually come out, and Cartoon Network already has your young one trained to sap it up when it does. Nintendo is the family friendly choice in this race.If you're a die hard Sony handheld fan, I assume that is a title...somewhere, get ready to pay through the nose. The cheapest model(Wi-Fi) might not seem too pricey, but the proprietary "memory stick" is going to burn your wallet. You'll essentially be paying the price for a low end PS3...which is basically what the Vita is. And I know you're gonna be smart and buy a bundled model with your game of choice and a pre-packaged memory stick. I'm warning you now, you will eat through that memory stick very quickly. Start looking for deals on those now.If you've got money to spare and are buying the Vita because...you have money to spare than you have somehow found your way into the reviews section. But since you missed the checkout button, possibly because your bags of money have obstructed your keyboard, know that the Playstation Vita is currently the long con of handhelds. Aside from a game like Gravity Rush, you're going to be waiting sometime before a true killer app justifies your purchase.I would wait. If you desperately need something to pass the time between a commute, use a smartphone. If you need it to be a dedicated gaming platform, go buy an old DS. Right now, investing in a Vita is not a smart move. It's a fine system, very well crafted and fun to use, but if you don't have the funds to splurge freely, just wait it out for now.Quick aside to the game case collectors. The Assassin's Creed Liberation bundle DOES NOT come with an accompanying case for the game. It's stuffed into a little plastic holder with the memory stick. It's not gonna mesh well on your game shelf.

I was very skeptical buying a refurbed PS Vita, but my mind was at ease as soon as I opened up the box. The Vita looked brand new with no signs of scratches or knicks. To put it easily, it looked brand new! When I charged it up and turned it on, there was no issues whatsoever. Powered up flawlessly and to this day still runs smooth after 4 months. Battery life is pretty good to and can play many games for 3-4 hours straight before needing a charge. Definitely worth a look if you're looking at saving a little bit of money.

This is factory recertified, but there is no discernible difference from a brand new version.

I bought this to mainly play all my old PS1 games while on the go. It does that and it does it splendidly. I found the battery life to be very nice, lasting for about 8-10 hours of game play.

The OLED screen is gorgeous, and I would HIGHLY recommend buying an older Vita model versus the new model. Many people claim the difference is only apparent if one views the two products side by side, but the difference is like night and day. Colors on the newer model feel dull and lifeless, whereas the OLED display is crisp and vibrant. Finally, I would highly recommend buying at least a 32gb memory card, as games take up much more space than one might think.

First of all, the Vita is a great piece of hardware that I feel isn't nearly supported enough, mostly because of the cost of the system and the ridiculously priced memory cards. With this deal, you get started with Vita, get 2 great titles for free (Assassin's Creed and Playstation All-Stars) and a 3 month trial of PS+. PS+ gives you free games every month, and you know what the first month of Plus gave to Vita owners? Nothing much, just the best rated games on the platform! Uncharted Golden Abyss and my personal favorite Gravity Rush! There's more than this, and you also get something new every month. It's just an amazing deal for an amazing platform. Not to mention, PSP has some amazing games on the store as well that play even better on the Vita with it's bigger screen and 2 analogs sticks. I plan to pick up Valkyria chronicles 2, Crimson Gem saga, Dissidia, Persona 4 and 3, and many more incredible RPG experiences. This is an absolute must-have hardware, but it needs support from real gamers! The analog sticks feel great, the screen is gorgeous, and some very interesting games are on the horizon like Soul Sacrifice, Phantasy Star Online 2, and Tear Away. The system just needs more units for big publishes like Capcom and SE to put there best games on it. So, if you want a Monster Hunter, Kingdom Hearts, or Final Fantasy on this amazing piece of hardware, support it now with the crazy deal! I'll find it hard to believe anyone will regret getting this deal for $180 buck!Highlights of the bundleVita--solid piece of hardware with the best screen of any portable gaming device and two analog sticksPS+ 3 month trial--gives you free games every month, with some of the best Vita titles available free for downloadAssassin's Creed--great side-story experience to AC3 for PS3/360 looks beautiful, not as great a console experiences howeverPlaystation-AllStars--one of Sony's best surprises this year, no Smash Brothers rip-off but a technical, beautiful brawler that is easy to pick up and play, but will likely takes months or even longer to master, A serious fighter? Yeah, it's that's legit4GB Memory card--could have definitely bundled an 8gb card, but i honestly think this is how Sony is staying afloat, company isn't doing as well as it once was with economic troubles, competition from Samsung, and the strong Yen. the only negative I can really give to Vita atm is the pricey memory sticks. But, just keep most of your games on your PS3 for storage, and then transfer the ones you want to play. Simple enough solution really...Once you get your Vita, be sure to check out Playstation mobile, for smaller $1 and $2 games. These bit-sized titles are really coming into there own, and who knows, a new Angry birds may be born from the platform the SDK is only $99 which opens it up to a lot more developers...I can't say enough good things about this handheld, it's truly incredible. And made for the true gamers around the world. Sony seems to have learned from there arrogant PR with PS3, and really, they are offering some of the best value/experiences in gaming right now.

The only think that I didn`t like is the manufacturer box it came in. It was very plain, white and it said refurbished in few places. I wish they place 1 removable sticker so customer can take it out.

I was a bit skeptical about buying a recertified Vita instead of a new one, but after looking at the Vita-1000's new price I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I was not displeased. This PSVita literally looked brand new from the factory and I can't be any happier with it. Only issue is that it didn't come with a memory card, but no biggie. Amazon sells those, too :P

Плохо

[Update 15 March 2013]:So I decided to revisit AC3:L since what I said about it was very limited and was only based on the first couple minutes of playing. By now, I've played hours of it.As far as the story goes, it's actually not *that* bad. There is an actual story which makes sense. Graphics are decent but many scenes have obvious spots where it didn't show correctly. Don't expect cut scenes like from the normal series of AC though, these are cut down and have small movements. Sound is absolutely horrendous. There's probably two different background musics to the game, making it a huge annoyance to listen to. Movement is frustrating to use since you will almost always use your "R" button to run. After a couple days of playing, it felt like my R was going to break off. R is used to outrun the "police," jump over/on objects, basically anything to move faster. As far as *what* you can jump on, almost anything is "climbable" as long as you can reach it. Gameplay smoothness is very jumpy and teared up. Combat is very bad. It's really hard to counter/dodge/fight someone due to your character being slow. In a situation like the assassin vs. 3 others, buttons will get unresponsive. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 5.> It makes me wonder why games for the PSVita need to be watered down so much but the WiiU can have full games such as AC3 and CoD:BO2. Sony is just embarrassing themselves when they can't push out complete series.--------------------------------------------------------------------------Original review:This is an excellent device, no doubt about it. You can surf the internet and play games with nearly no lag between switching apps (programs). There's a potential to be much, much better but alas, it's probably not going to be. So far, almost a year into release, there's been an estimated 30-40 games released. It's a joke really, to have this little games. They did however, allow you to buy Playstation, Playstation minis, Playstation Portable, and other apps for a rather annoying price (as they force you to buy the game again even if you already own say a PSP game). There's a YouTube app so you can watch YouTube videos, but you cannot watch videos via the web server because of there not being flash. The battery life is short. I can use it for 2 hours straight and this would burn more than half of its life. I was expecting for maybe 6-8 hours of use for one charge. For Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, it's really not that good. It's much harder than it needs to be and is not what I was expecting for an AC game.Overall not a bad handheld, there just isn't enough games.Edit: I forgot to have mentioned that the Vita also has very overpriced memory cards. A simple 4GB card costs $20, over twice what it should be. Same goes with the rest of the memory cards.

Ужасно

There are a lot of positive reviews likely written directly after the item is delivered and the person is thrilled with their new toy, but take this review of an early adopter for consideration if you will. The reason why this is the first game bundled with the Vita that you hear about is because of it's brand recognition. Before this game there was a long period of time that the Vita provided nothing that a console wouldn't, and also lacked in quality titles that only a hand held could offer. The answer to that was gravity Rush which came after months of waiting. It was a blast, but that was still really the only game that made this system uniquely worth having. Fast forward months and months later to this new Assassin's Creed game, which sorry, but is a watered down experience compared to the new console version out. It's good, it's just not as good as what else is offered out there. The point is, they are putting the AC:L and Vita together because they want to claim this game is worth owning the system for. Even if that was the case, what happens afterwards? The Vita is still being used as a perpetual tech demo, getting every toned down console game ported that it can. I really makes you wonder if you should just have a vita, or just have a PS3. They try to combat that by giving you a code to have both versions in very few select games but that adds to more problems, which is the memory card. It is a complete rip off. The memory cards are low performance and slow, not to mention nearly 4x (at launch, now 3x)the cost of other, higher performance memory cards like it and they completely required for the Vita's use. 4Gb is not only not enough space, but it will make your experience with this system abysmal as you will have to use their extremely clunky program to transfer items back and forth to manage the card and its limited size. Many games are even larger than the 4Gb memory card which instantly hinders your positive experience.I ask you to consider that after the "WOW" of this new game wears off, what are you left with? You are left with a battery eating, heavy, supped up PSP that seeks to drain your patience and money through overpriced store items. Plants vs Zombies for example is $14.99 when you can get it for the iPad HD (using that as an example because its portable and has a gorgeous screen) for as low as $0.99 or even $6.99 at it's most expensive. The PSV's web browser is terrible and its more than apparent that it was just tacked on with little consideration for how it would perform. The system is great while you play a game that is worth owning but so far it's too few and far between to warrant a purchase. Gravity rush moved a lot of Vitas but then all those people pretty much had to wait for this game months later to enjoy the system again. There is nothing that says this will be different.

I've waited a long time to purchase a Vita and once I finally did I don't regret it for a millisecond (yeah, a millisecond folks!).I've owned every system and handheld since the NES and I knew I would eventually get this but I waited for the first set of price-drops in November. I absolutely love this thing and I'll tell you why...Positive:The graphics on the handful of games I've played are amazing. It really does feel like I'm playing a miniature PS3. The quantity of AAA games is growing and with the ability to play many PSone originals you'll never run out of stuff to play. The PS Store, trophy support, and content manager work great. I have my Vita sync'd to my home computer and I'm able to transfer stuff wirelessly to it very easily via my home network. The battery life is good for the amount of power it's putting out to play such good looking games. I believe I get around 8 hours of use before it needs a recharge. The one thing that works great that surprised me is the browser. It's pretty fast and in my experience it's faster than the PS3 browser has ever been.As for the design and the durability of the Vita, it's top notch. The only thing on the entire device that feels even remotely questionable are the shoulder buttons. The L and R buttons feel a little flimsy at times but they work perfectly fine and I've never had a problem with them yet. The dual sticks feel great as well and the Vita feels pretty good in your hands. I've played P4G on this thing for about 6-7 hours straight and my hands never cramped up.Negative:There's not much I can think of that I don't like about the Vita. There could be a few more customization options like being able to put the apps in different configurations other than the "side-ways-ruby-shape" they have set up. I think it would also be nice to change the icons to different shapes or remove the text to them if desired. The only major thing I dislike is the fact that they use a new type of memory card. These things are expensive as hell still and if you want to or are required to install portions of games to the Vita you're going to need some space. This particular bundle I bought included a 4GB card which is probably enough for a few games and some picture and music. If you want to install some of the PSone games or digital PSP games you're going to need a bigger card. I have a 16GB now and that seems to work. It is worth mentioning that PSP games obviously will not work on a Vita and there's no way to get them to it without re-purchasing the digital copies of them on the PSN if they're supported on the Vita.Verdict:Get one...seriously...get it now!

I did not expect to enjoy the VITA. I got it for Hollow Fragment and it has now become my primary gaming system (at least until I run out of games. The OLED screen of the recertified's is brilliant. The game selection is kind of small - unless you enjoy RPG's or games from japanese publishers like I do.

In which case, you'll have far more to play on this system than a 3DS.

The vita meets all of my key points. Beautiful to look at, great RPG's, and designed with a sleek UI.
