Let me start off by saying, the people who gave this item a 1 star rating because they didn't receive their promo codes or because the item had a defect, doesn't mean the item isn't worth it. I have both the 3D and the vita, so I'm not bias towards any system.Graphics: The PS vita deserves a 10/10 here. The graphics are very crisp and clear. Playing assassins creed on the vita is almost as good as the PS3. The color is great, not dark like the PSP 3000. For a handheld, it certainly has the best graphics out there.Games: The games are great, very high quality. The only issue with the vita is that the game selection is very poor. There aren't a lot of games to choose from, but keep in mind that the system is new and still has a long way to go.Sound: The sound is clear, it's just not as loud as I would have hoped. My iPhone has more volume than the ps vita. It's not bad enough to the point where it would stop you from buying the system, it's just not loud enough.Hardware: The vita is built beautifully. It's not heavy and it feels great in hand. Especially this white vita, it looks beautiful and stands out a ton. The joysticks feel great and the buttons are very solid. It's so light for a handheld that Im not so afraid of dropping it, that can't be said about many handheld things.Overall the vita is great. Whether you buy the black or white one is up to you, I personally love white systems so I had to have this one. It's a system for real gamers. The 3DS is also great, many games to choose from. But I can't take any of them seriously, it's more of a child's system. The vita is more of a serious gamer system. It's a must buy if you're really into handhelds. And Sony is doing a lot of great things for the players, like cross buying and all the deals they have with playstation plus. It's great.

Let me preface this by saying that thought a long time about buying the Vita. I also game extensively on my iPhone and iPad and wondered if the Vita would really be necessary. It all came down to buttons and games. I waited specifically for this bundle because it included a 4GB memory card and AC: Liberation game. I previously owned a PSP and used this purchase as an upgrade. I used my PS3 as the hub to transfer saves and games from my PSP to my PS-Vita.I have been very pleased with the purchase and would recommend it to others looking for a very powerful portable gaming device and want 'console' experience in their pocket.PS Vita: (4 stars)Pros:The hardware is great. Very responsive and fun to use. Even with slightly large hands it is easy to hold. (There are optional grips available for those with larger hands)The screen is beautiful and very colorful. I have played 6 different games and watched two movies on it and they looked great.Backwards compatibility with some PSP games purchased from the PSN store. (Disgaea 2, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Monsters)Cons:Requires memory card for saves/updates and the 4GB included is filling up fast with expensive upgrade options. I feel this is the biggest knock against the whole system.The touch pad on the back is a little awkward to use. In some games my fingers hit it accidentally.No Video OUT capability. (yes, I read the specs but I think was a design mistake)Assassin's Creed: Liberation (4 stars)Pros:Good successor to previous games with some flaws that mostly revolve around who the story is told.This game lets you have Assassin's Creed in your pocket. ***SPOILER***: The game world really opens up around Seq 3.Cons:Minor graphical issues such as pop ups and some slight frame issues but nothing that made it unplayable.AI is pretty simple.Touch controls are a joke. I see no reason to use them when I could simply press the x button.I recommend trying out demos for Gravity Rush and Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

I have had the system for about two weeks now, and I am really impressed. I honestly wanted to hate it. I got it as a gift, and I really don't like Sony (Rootkits in their CD's, non-response to hacks, preparatory harder/software). I had an old DS and figured it was good enough.This system kicks its butt in almost all aspects. Its silky smooth, looks beautiful, and the duel analog sticks are a much needed addition. The software list is a little lacking, but I have a feeling as more people like Ubisoft and Activision get on board that will be fixed.Just as an FYI the games I own are Assassin's Creed, Gravity Shift, Mortal Kombat, Little Big Planet and the Play Station Plus membership (Its really a good a deal, should look in to it)The are only two down sides:The price of memory for the thing! 32 gigs are MSRPing for 100 bucks, that's roughly 4-5 times the going rate for a SD Card.The second is the back touch pad, and this might get better as developers learn to use it. Right now its gimmicky, and removes your from game-play due to the fact you have to stop playing, hold the vita different, and are trying to drag a finger to the right place without actually seeing where your finger is on the back.The battery life seems higher than most people got to me, but I never really play it for more than an hour or two at a time. As long as you hit standby instead of pause (Which is nice to be able to pause anywhere in any game) it uses almost not battery, and you can pickup where you left off.If you have a handheld and are looking for a new one, I would say that the Vita is a solid buy; but be ready to spend a pretty penny for the memory cards for a while or avoid the PSN market all together (which is half the power of the Vita to me)

I won't bore you with the technical specs of the Vita, as you can find them in one of the many other reviews here.I will, however, review the bundle and the included copy of Assassin's Creed 3 : Liberation.The included 4GB card is, well, absolute bare-minimum for what you'll need for the Vita. If you download more than one game from the PSN, you'll outgrow it. Grab a 16 or 32GB one and you'll be set for a while.As far as AC3: Liberation goes.. it's a mixed-bag. I'm a big fan of the AC series (I've played AC, AC2, AC: Brotherhood and AC: Revelations on PS3) so I had a pretty good idea what to expect from this, given it uses the same engine as Assassin's Creed 3. There are a fair amount of bugs (some game-breaking, unfortunately) as Ubisoft continues to use the public as QA testers. Gameplay is more or less identical to the console versions, down to many of the sound effects. It plays well in the AC universe and clearly has ties to Ezio's (and Conner's!) adventures. In addition to the bugs, this game suffers from frame-rate issues far more than it should. Every other Vita game I've played has been buttery smooth, so I'm not sure what's up with this one. Overall, I'd rate the game a 6.5 / 10, with the big dings being for the bugs (many of which are still unresolved, even after two patches), the frame-rate issues, and the fact that it didn't even come with a plastic storage case.For the bundle, I'd rather a decent plush case be included instead of the near-useless 4GB card.In closing, I'm glad that I waited for the white-colored Vita -- it looks fantastic and is not a monster finger-print magnet like the black model. If you're a fan of the AC series, then you (most likely) can't go wrong with this bundle.

Just got my new PS Vita and finished Uncharted-Golden Abyss. PS Vita is an amazing gaming device. With Dual Analog sticks and a powerful engine for HD gaming, this is the best portable gaming device I ever owned. I had an old PSP but never got into it, probably because of the graphics quality of games and not having dual analog sticks. But with PS Vita the entire gaming experience has changed. Beautiful AMOLED screen, fluid User Interface, Multitasking, front and back cameras, front and back touch panels, all essential apps (e.g. Netflix, YouTube, Skype etc), with all these features it is truly a great gaming device with near to perfect Tablet. Games looks just gorgeous on it and the controls are very fluid.One main reason I like the device is because, with kids around, it was always difficult to play games on PS3 or XBOX 360. This is a perfect device for me to play at home. Whenever there is a small break of 15 to 20 minutes play the game, pause it and resume again later.Have not tried the remote play yet, that allows you to play PS3 games on Vita but looking forward to it.There are already bunch of good games on it, that I am planning to play (NFS Most Wanted, Assassin's Creed III, Little Big Planet, Gravity Rush, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, MGS HD etc) . But it seems that, Vita is not selling as much as expected by everybody, probably because of the high price of device, memory cards and games. Still I personally think, it is a great device and will soon become a success once we get few quality exclusives like GTA, Gran Turismo, Killzone, God of War, Monster Hunter.I will continue using the device and provide an update soon...

Bought this product from Far East Market for my son but I didn't realize he already had one so I returned it. Many weeks later I didn't receive my refund but emailed them several times with no response. I asked amazon to contact them and finally they emailed me back but they accused me of fraud in that I didn't send them the ps vita that they sent me. This was not true at all. They said they would refund my money but only because they sold the one I had sent them. So that's right! They resold the same ps vita that they said was fraudulent! So basically they are admitting that they have no problem selling Fraudulent or even perhaps stolen items. Very shady. Don't buy anything from Far East Market, who knows where it came from

Console is generally ok but failed to pick up my home 3G network yet they claimed it was unlocked. Its good it has wifi but this has limited coverage in my country.

How can this be a "bundle"? The box itself has a label indicating that a memory card is required to play the bundled game.'. This "bundle" is therefore incomplete. Imagine my nephew's disappointment on his birthday that he could not play his favorite game franchise on the ONLY gaming platform he wanted for his tenth birthday. The fact that Sony could not fit a minimal amount of memory so that at least a bundled game could function is almost criminal. The PS Vita is off to a bad start. To add insult to injury, a standard based flash memory costs less than $.50 per GB Sony could not see fit to use. The Vita requires proprietary Vita only memory card which a meager 4 GB memory card costs a discounted $20 here on Amzn! If only Sony had followed the competition's example and used SDHC, one could simply, conveniently, and cross-platformly use a spare one just laying around and be up and running at 10x cost efficiency. Did some fresh out MBA at Sony thought that they could just stick it to the consumer, that the target players are just kids that don't care about wasting money and would just willing go out and buy something overpriced to make a business decision like this? In an age where most toys include batteries so that kids can be up and running the moment they receive them, the glaring absence of a required item for minimum functionality is unabashedly shameful and utterly inexcusable. Especially considering the included game does not even just function without save mode, it simply does not function. The fact we need to pay over an order of magnitude more for something so minimal as to just to get the Vita to function makes the competition's inclusion of 2GB SD memory and internal built game save functionality is just so much more thoughtful and a much superior user experience. Based on this experience, I'm only going to give 3DS as presents from now on.

I bought this for my wife at the last second on Black Friday when the whole bundle was $180 plus shipping, which also included the free digital copy of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale for Vita as well as a few months of free PS Plus subscription. I already have a 3G Vita of my own from launch day, and I can say that we both agree that the 3G feature is useless, especially if you have a decent smartphone, so don't hesitate to get a WiFi-only Vita. The white version of the Vita hardware looks stunning and doesn't show smears and fingerprints as much. I recently upgraded to a 32GB wallet-breaker memory card and let her have my old 8GB (which is likely more than she'll need), so that wasn't an issue for us. And the deal only gets sweeter with PS Plus and the Instant Game Collection. Of course, the only gripes to be had are the same issues with any Vita right now: memory card pricing and capacity, form factor is unforgiving to larger hands, game library is taking off very slowly. Nothing that a little patience and perhaps a snap-on grip/handle won't fix.As for Assassin's Creed III Liberation, I haven't played it myself, but she seems to like it a lot and it looks fun. I'll have to wait for her to be completely done with it or buy my own copy due to the way Sony has Vita games lock trophy-earning privileges to a single PSN account at a time, a rather petty move to reduce game sharing and discourage used game sales (although for 2nd hand games, it's easy enough to format the game card's memory and start over from scratch, like new!).

I purchased during the amazing Black Friday deal ... what a bargain! This was a second Vita purchase for our household as I bought the black Vita during launch week, so I have had almost a year of using my Vita. The Vita itself is a great piece of hardware ... easy to use / set up, all the bells & whistles with dual analog sticks & rear / front touch pads ... graphics are amazingly sharp & I have found a fairly abundant amount of content, between retail releases & PSN titles such as Dokuro, Escape Plan & Mutant Blobs. Playstation Mobile is also available for smaller cost effective titles. The memory cards are expensive, but with the fantastic deal I decided to upgrade immediately to the 32 gb card .... as I already owned retail copies of UCGA, Gravity Rush & Wipeout, I did not need to download them from PSN .... so this card should last awhile. In my launch week Vita I am using an 8 gb card & it is almost full, but I have quite a bit of content on it, as well as at least 8 retail game save files ... in time, the cards will see price cuts / sales ... for anyone who enjoys portable gaming, this is a wonderful addition. I mainly use mine at home, but always take it with me on trips & it certainly passes the time in airports. I highly recommend this bundle ... the white is quite stunning. I believe that more titles will become cross buy & that certainly adds value, for folks who also own a PS3. PS All Stars on the Vita plays flawlessly & is great for short game sessions.

The white vita is great. I dont ahve the regular one to compare it to, but it's very responsive and sleek and the screen is very crisp.I got my vita mainly to function as an mp3 player and movie player for when I'm waiting somewhere or just out somewhere for long periods of time. However I find myself playing games on it more often. i also browse youtube when I'm in the bed and about to go to sleep. The selection of vita games may be lacking, but there are many many PSone and PSP games you can buy/download. Classics like Xenogears, Legend of Mana, Resident Evil, and many many more classics that will make anyone who had PS1 melt from sheer nostalgia just by looking at the selection of PS1 games. they're all priced arounf 5, 10, 15 and 20 dollars too. theres also great games like Tetris, which is my go to game if I need to kill 5-10 minutes on the go.This was a great buy overall.As for the game that comes with, i honestly never like the assassin's creed games (I know how popular it is, but I'm more of create your own character and freeroam type of gamer). I played for about 20 minutes and could tell it is far more polished than the first game. i just doubt I'll ever play again simply because it's not my thing. I can say though, that if you liked the other AC games, you'll like this one. Also the fact that the main character is a black female (albeit half black) is a major plus because that is extremely rare when it comes to video games.

Visual presentation, IMO is the most important for these devices. Tactile controls are a given and gameplay value and quality provided by different platforms is subjective (3DS and comparable Android and iOS devices).The OLED used on the VITA is made by Samsung. OLED are supposed to look amazing and the future for displays. For now, not really.The PS VITA OLED is plagued with black spots and vertical lines. Quality control is pretty poor and so is manufacturing technique to not produce vertical lines.At first you would have though: "OLED! That's amazing! Just look at these:"UCGA:[...]ACL:[...]Home Screen:[...]Until a closer inspection and you really look at it while you comfortably play in your room with no blaring fluorescent lights that are prevalent outside and on the stores:(These are mine:)Assassins Creed Liberation (the worst offender with lots of brown and red):[...][...](These is from another consumer:)[...]Resistance Burning Skies:[...][...]Others (not mine:)[...][...][...]This also seem to be quite prevalent on Samsung's cellphones with OLED:[...]I am very disappointed with their screen quality control.Just try searching "VITA vertical lines/ amoled lines".Sony should also make it mandatory for games to avoid complete black areas (just use very dark greys like LCDs/LEDs). The OLED black spots can be quite distracting.Do yourselves and the industry for quality screens a favor and don't buy a PS Vita until they solve these quirks. Never get this product for standard MSRP (unless it's a really good bundle).Very disappointed with the product quality.

PSP was pretty solidThe Ps go was trashPs vita is the boss!I am blown away by the vita and sold my psp when it came out. the touchscreen the back touchscreen the user interface the quick access to mp3 files the weight and the feel of it are all just fantastic. It is absolutely amazing and I have ne'er been much of a fanboy for anything but I just might be for the vita. My wife digs the 3ds, I'm not sure why but Nintendo is her thing so that's cool. the games for playstation and xbox360 are what I go for Im never in one spot to play my xbox. The vita already has some great games that are solid and fun. what really steals the show for me now is the playstation plus membership. Right now it's got gravity rush, uncharted, wipe out and a few others. Those first three game alone would cost more then a years membership which gives you access to download them for free. You can even back them up to a computer via the wireless content manager and play them even after the change out from the store as long as you have a live account naturally. I got Patapon 2 as a free download and have yet to play it havin beat it on the psp. However it's there backed up for when I do what to play it. Just copy it back over the same way and no worries. Pretty awesome...As for the white color system it's awesome. I had the silver psp and never liked the black ones because of fingerprints which I never notice on the white one.

Item was used as described and works great! If you are considering getting a psvita there are many reasons to do so, remote play, oled screen, great build quality, Playstation plus, cross-play, cross buy, fun exclusive games,etc etc!

I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday/christmas gift. He loves it! He takes it to work and remote plays from his new PS4 system so I can watch my shows on tv. It came in the original box with no scratches and shipping was fast. It looks totally brand new and works great.

Bought this Vita bundle at 179 usd on black friday and been using it since, so now I can give a better review without the novelty of a new toy.The Good:The system is what you would expect from a Sony Console, good quality! Also it's light, feels good in the hand, nice and small analog sticks, fits in my back pocket, great battery for the gaming performance delivered, amazing screen, decent resolution... a step back from the resolution I was used to in my Galaxy Nexus but unnoticeable when playing.The Bad:The propietary memory card is way to expensive and the one that comes for free (4 gb) it's just not enoght for downloading games... you will need at least 8 gb to be able to install a game like Uncharted (it's like 3 gb and free with PS Plus)People complain about the game library, for me it's not bad since this is not my primary console (I mostly use it when I'm not at home). Most of the games I have now I got them for free from Amazon and PS Plus (great games) and I have more games that I can actually handle between my vita and PS3... I think I'll never play again in my Nexus. bye, bye stupid birds.Bottom line, I love my Vita and I would recomend it to anyone with a PS3 and Plus subscription... it really feels like having a PS3 on the go plus a bunch of new stuff with touch front and back.

Jumped in on the BF deal as my second Vita. The white version looks way better than the black version, especially in the anti smudge department. And if you are picking up a Vita make sure to check out Playstation Plus as it comes with 6 of the best Vita games as part of the subscription. Also while the 4GB card is nice, I would go with a 16GB card, especially if you have PS+. With that being said here is what I wrote from my other review of the black model:I will be honest, I was second guessing myself when I bought a Vita, but I have been extremely happy with my purchase.The PS Vita has provided me the best gaming experience I have had in a very long time. Since life has gotten pretty busy I have found I am less likely to sit down at the couch and fire up the PS3 or 360 to play games. It might sound crazy but having instant access to awesome PS3 quality games like Uncharted, Need for Speed Most Wanted, Rayman, MLB 12, and so many others has allowed me to still get in some gaming.The interface is buttery smooth and you can have multiple apps opened at once. The apps were a pleasant surprise. Great apps for youtube, twitter, and facebook.And the biggest gem of the Vita is being able to play upresolutioned (better visuals) PSP games on it. The PSP library is full of great RPGs like the Ys series, Persona series, and more. Also there are the God of War games, Burnout racing games, etc. It is a nice perk that the Vita lasts about twice as long while playing PSP games as well.

This is an update to my previous 1 star review. I was able to exchange my first Vita and Amazon shipped it pretty fast. So I am very happy with Amazon about that. My new Vita doesn't have the same screen flaw so I am enjoying the system much more now.I am giving the system 4 stars for the following reasons:- I'm not a fan of the blue-ish system backlight. I wish there was a way to turn it off.- I like the PS3 and PSP interface more than the smartphone type bubbles of the Vita- The speaker volume and location. The speak volume is to low and they sound even lower because my fat thumbs cover them when I use the sticks- Because I had to deal with the screen on my first one.Otherwise it seems like a very solid system.*OLD REVIEW* I'm a long time Playstation fan. I love my PSP and I was hoping I'd love my Vita just as much. I've only had the Vita for a few days but I just can't get passed the marks on the screen. The PS Vita has single-handedly brought back my excitement over portable gaming! I'd loved my DS back in the day, and to some extent my psp, but once the 3DS came out and good DS games stopped being released I pretty much stopped playing on portable systems. I spent a fair amount of time with the 3DS, playing such (great) games as Kid Icarus and Resident Evil: Revelations, but I just couldn't stand that system. The 3d effect gives me headaches, and other than that the system has no cool features. Just small, low-res screens and uncomfortable buttons. (And no right analog stick!)Compare that with the PS Vita, which has 2 touchscreens, 2 analog sticks, and a gorgeous 5" OLED screen..amazing! The game that comes with this bundle, Assassin's Creed: Liberation, is the most technically impressive handheld game I've ever played, with maybe the exception of another Vita game, Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Liberation plays exactly like it's console brethren, so if you like the gameplay in those you'll feel right at home here. My only real complaint is that it really is just like a slightly watered down console game, and given the choice I'd rather be playing Assassin's Creed III..but when I'm on the go and only have access to portable gaming, it fits the bill nicely. If you're on the fence about picking up a portable game system the PS Vita comes highly recommended, especially if you pick it up in a bundle such as this one.

I'm sure there are other reviewers who can go into more detail than I can about the Vita. My son uses it for his games and for surfing the net. Setup was quick and easy for him and it is linked to his PS3 PlayStation Plus account.He has said that he wished there were more games for the Vita and they were cheaper. I hope the Vita has a role in the upcoming PS4.I gave it four stars for one reason and almost feel like giving it a lower rating. My complaint is about the memory cards that are unique to the Vita. A memory card with a few gigs can fill up quickly and then you go into sticker shock at the price for another one. To make it even worse the memory cards are stupid small. Like smaller than your pinky fingernail and could be lost very easy. I'm sure the only reason Sony did this is to make more money. My advice would be to buy a larger memory card early on to avoid having several laying around just waiting to be lost.

The PSVita is my new favorite gaming system. I don't really write reviews, but I felt so compelled as I don't think I've really been wowed by a system for some time. The 3DS is great and the 3D is impressive, but I didn't get as excited as I did when I saw the gameplay on the PSVita. This system is so under rated that people need to know how good it is. I bought this bundle on Black Friday when it was going for just under $200. It was an incredible deal, and even more so if you were a PS+ member--lots of free games...like $100+ of free games being given away. The catch here was the memory card size. The 4GB memory is not nearly enough space for a PSVita particularly if they are focusing on downloading games. Uncharted comes in at about 3GB--so you are going to need a bigger boat if you are looking to download more than one game at a time, deleting and downloading another game, etc.That being said, Sony shouldn't even sell 4GB cards--probably why they are giving them away--now that they can be considered nearly useless.Outside of the memory card issues that everyone is aware of. The PSVita is one of the most impressive systems that I have played with in a while. I would recommend it to anyone--just wait for the sales though. $250 is a bit high, especially when you will have to purchase another memory cart at some point.

Put off buying a Vita at launch till a handful of must buy games came out and lucky me that Sony announced a limited edition white Vita bundle. Mainly bought this bundle to get the white handheld and I wasn't disappointed. The original price (199.99 Block Friday)for the bundle was reasonable and I would've paid that much gladly just for the system itself, so getting Assassin's Creed with it was a bonus for me.Sadly the bundle (mainly the white Vita) is hard to come by at a reasonable price. This is to be expected though by looking back at the PSP era and how the limited edition white PSP bundle that came with Assassin's Creed Bloodlines was sold out soon after release and up to this date is still ridiculously over priced. In the end, the most likely place for people looking to buy this bundle at a reasonable price would be eBay though it's pretty hit-or-miss with the condition of the Vita your getting.112

This product, as should say, contains a white PS Vita System with AC Liberation with power cords, manuals, and a 4 GB micro memory card. The price is spendy, but you get several things with it. I got this during Cyber Monday sales and got it a lot cheaper. It was $179.99.What I think about it is that it's a really good deal. I have enjoyed the AC series and if you do, you will like this game, too. I also enjoy the system being a different color than the original, it looks beautiful. So far, my PS Vita is working well and I'm not having any problems with.The system, itself, has very few games (that myself would buy), but if you own a PS3, you would know that you can buy a lot of video games from past times (from the PS1, PS mini, PSP, not PS2, though). It is a really good buy, though to download those games, you'll need a much larger memory card 16 GB or 32 GB (which are spendy).There aren't that many apps yet (that I have seen), but there will be.The touch screen works perfectly (and the one on the back, too).Overall, I enjoy this buy and am having a lot of fun with it. I hope that when you buy this product, you'll enjoy it, too.
