As an non-audiophile I was not sure about buying these headphones as they are obviously very expensive. Other reviewers are better placed to give that sort of feedback. However, they delivered exactly what I wanted which is a great cordless experience and brilliant sound.

Great sound, very comfortable really superb. Only drawback the NFC didn't immediately pair with my Sony (you would have thought that of all things that would pair trouble free?) But once the connection problem solved a fantastic listening experience.

I'm a bit of a headphone geek and have many pairs my IEMs are the sony mdr ex 1000 and my main over the ears are Shure 840s, I wanted some Bluetooth headphones for my laptop and phone for walking the dog, as wires get on my nerves. I ran them against my shures and they are far the better headphone.
The bass is much much deeper on the songs, and the highs are crisp, so crisp I can hear Stanton Lanier moving across the piano it's that clear.
You can take calls also as they have a builtin mic. They are very comfy and look the business.
Highly recommended, if I had one small issue it's that Bluetooth audio isn't as loud as wired, but that's normal and always has been.

This is just the ticket ...to another world of music, the base & quality of the wireles//cable option headphones are quite simply stunning.
Not for the fashion conscious names or in outrageous colours but quite simply discreet in any colour as long as its "Black"

I just bought MDR1RBT a week ago. Actually, I have other Sony Bluetooth headset, but I had frustration on sound quality and battery life.
This one solved both problems. I am so happy with sound quality and long battery life. What is good about this one is I can still listen to music as a normal headphone by connecting to smart phone with the supplied cable. On the go, I use this as bluetooth headset, and I use this as a normal headphone on board with my smart phone on flight mode.

I love these headphones. They are light, comfortable, they sound spectacular and they even look pretty neat. The battery life is phenomenal as well. About the only problem is that if you use them in wired mode you lose the skip/play function, but really they sound so good over bluetooth there's not much reason to plug them in.

Product arrived in time, Bluetooth worked with out issues, although not enough bass but i already had an SONY XB500 headphone so not an issue
