Only reservation is that the full pages that hold an 8x10 seem kind of pricey for the number of pages in the package.

I just installed this cable into my RAV4 with the AVH-X2500BT. The USB cable is shorter but if you plug it into the USB cable supplied with the head unit both cables are then exactly the same length. I think they did that to allow access to the USB port for other devices. The audio through the cable uses the DAC on the head unit rather than the one on the iPod/iPhone, I have not been able to tell a difference while driving so far, but it should be better. The cable is bulky and stiff, but I have not had to fiddle with the phone once it is plugged in. Charges the device. I am happy with the cable so far. I have Motion GPS on my phone, but have not tried navigation through the head unit. 4 stars for the bulk. Half the price of retail.

Item shipped vey quickly. How ever as soon as I hooked it up there was a short in the wire. The audio and video worked fine but the app radio screen popped in out till it just stooped working all together. I know it was a short in the wire cause I tried an Ipod and to different 4s iphones.

Alright I received this cable yesterday, but have not had the opportunity to test it out due to my radio not arriving until later today. I am sure the cable works the way it is supposed to as others have already stated. My issue is with the length of the usb cable portion of the cable compared to the other portion (not sure what the technical name is). For God sakes Pioneer, it's more than a foot shorter. I saw an earlier post that stated this, but as foolish as I am I paid it no mind. That picture you see in the advertisement shows the other portion of the cable wrapped around itself several times, but the usb portion is fully extended in that picture, it's not wrapped even once. Pioneer knows they showed out when the made this cable with these uneven proportions they should be ashamed of themselves.

This cable does what it's advertised to do, the USB portion of the cable has a disconnect that you can unplug and plug a USB drive into to upload pictures or play songs from. I ordered this because Crutchfield was out of the cable when I needed one. The only complaint I have is the bulk of the cable.

This cable works well wi my iPod, but won't stay connected to my iphone. It's pretty frustrating, considering that I purchased this thing for navigation purposes. This is the only 30pin that won't stay plugged into my phone, so I don't think my jack is the problem.

I never wrote a product review, but this product got me upset. The price is way too high for a low quality product. The product comes in two parts but you can only use 1 piece at a time. When you use the head phone jack adapter with the 30 pin interface cord it does no work if you are trying to trying to play a video. Only direct input from the cord gives you video play without feedback. Overall I would recommed you to look for another option or just use your normal 30 pin cord because this product is a wast of money.

I gave it 5 stars because it shipped quick, was priced better than local and does what it's supposed to do.
My issue isn't with the cable but rather the functionality your supposed to get when attaching your iPhone to your Pioneer radio with the cable. I have a Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS and an iPhone 4. I'm still exploring the interface with the Pioneer App but so far it is awful. For example I have Motion GPS on my phone. It's listed as a compatible app. When I start it up Motion GPS a notice pops up on my iPhone saying I need to pay $40 to have the program show up on another display! I say no and the map will display on the Pioneer screen but have no controls to do anything. I have to go back to my phone to input or change things.
Not to get off track from the cable review but the App/interface is clunky and crude. So much so I don't know that I would have spent the money on this cable for what I'm using it for...

Nice product, but over time the iPod plug becomes a little loose so you might want to install it so its stationary. Overall, its a great product!

Perfect addition for the Pioneer AVH-P4400BH 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" Widescreen, i dont even listen to radio anymore thanks to this, i just used this and plugged my ipod and its a wrap!!!

I kinda wish this was just included in the advanced app head units from pioneer, however it is a well built high quality cable that does in fact increase sound quality, and do what is advertised for app control. This cable is quite bulky, I warn you to be certain your car can in fact accommodate this cable , it is robust. Drilling of very large holes may be required, it also does not work with a traditional iPhone dock without modification to the dock itself. Otherwise a great product.

This seems to work well for my X5500BHS. Its the Pioneer apps that seem to not work that well. They will freeze up on you sometimes and you have to jump completely out of it to get it to start working again. Its a work in progress if you ask me. The cord is kinda bulky and you would have thought that they could of come up with a better way of making this thing. In cold weather it get pretty stiff and hard to move around, Kinda like my bones! I am going to look for a mount of some kind to use to see if that will help out with the way its just hanging there.

For the DVD player that goes with it, he's got no problems with it. It IS a huge, thick, cable, but he liked that aspect of it.

The cord was about as described, but the clips on the cord do a poor job in connecting with the 30 pin on my phone. I hear one side click in, but the other side either can't or it is a poor mechanism and does not line up correctly. For a $50 cable this is actually pretty egregious.

This is really slick: no more fumbling with the ipod or trying to read that tiny print. This lets your ipod live in the console, driven remotely from the head unit. It even keeps the ipod charged.

Plug and play. Awesome!! Plays music and videos from ipod /iphone right to my head unit. only problem with this cable is they made the usb part of the cable too short, but an extension cable made it work real nice.

You need this cable if you want to run the app mode on your pioneer stereo. I have iPhone 4S and a Pioneer AVH-3500BHS. It works nicely and it add great function to the Stereo!

yes bulky yes hard to stuff it in behind radio..the radio comes with a USB cable its a must with this interface cable because of short USB cable that comes with the interface cable.u can see in picture..I have a iPod touch last year model also I have the newest iPod touch will not work because apple made the connection way smaller (fail)..I use it for movies and music videos..the cable way over priced my eyes should be 10 to 15 bucks..even HDMI cables don't even cost What they want..
