The good part is it worked perfectly when I plugged it in just to test it out. Unfortunately, when I unplugged the cable in order to more permanently route the cable inside the console of my truck, the plug fell apart. Very poor assembly quality, but that's what you get from China.

The 10 works just as its supposed to. I'm assuming the 20 is no different. plugs in with no problem. And it picks up radio stations like a charm. Unless you pass under a bridge of course.

The Pioneer ND-20PA is a Christmas gift for a family member. We installed it December 30 and so far it works very good. We installed it with a Pioneer Stereo 3200BT. Only thing I wished they would supply better instructions with the unit as to the options of wiring but with a little patience and finding the install instructions for the 3200BT the job is complete.
The red power wire gets constent power and there is a purple wire out the back of the 3200BT stereo unit that gets connected to the reverse lights power. Now it works in reverse as well as being able to view the trailer as we travel down the road. This unit not only assists you to park, it works great for hooking up to the trailer.

Has to be one of the worst cameras out there. First of all the resolution terrible. Don't even try the multi-view its useless. Night vision? What night vision! I had this on my Honda Odyssey with a Avic-z130bt pioneer deck. Even the cheaper baby monitor cameras are better than this one. Find one that has 420 tv lines, price really doesn't matter. Good luck.

lost the one in my house for my receiver, so had to purchase this. the cord is significantly shorter for all of you who might be looking to replace the receiver one. Radio shack/here sells headphone extension cords, one of which i had laying around.

I've had pioneer head units throughout the past. This unit is easy to sync and use and set up equalization. I didn't think is was really worth the money. I set my Pioneer 8300 unit to powerful equalizer and the lows, mids, and highs come out sounding perfect and I get enough response from my tweeters. I just raise my sub levels for a bit more bass. When using this, I found the response had a lot of bass, but the actual lows and mids sounded very off and unclear. I have a convertible and using the Powerful setting on the head unit keeps the sound flowing even with the top down. I even have aftermarket polk db's I put in for better sound, but this equalizer just seems overated. It really isn't worth the Money. You use it once to equalize and that's really it.

I used this to eq my 3300BT. It was difficult to figure out but once I did, the difference is amazing.
Some tips from my experience.
Turn key to acc and turn off fans, etc. Push source button until system turns off. Plug in mic. Don't turn back on. Instead, choose menu button on screen. Then choose auto eq.
Note if you have bypassed parking brake the relay will not charge when off. Just temporarily ground brake wire to chassis until finished.
I am a musician by trade with two music degrees and this is the best auto audio setting I have heard in my truck! Basically like having a RTA in your vehicle. Highly recommended.

Worked perfect for about a week, great sound quality and reception. Then it started cutting in and out, it would go silent for about 5 seconds when switching from hd to regular and would do that several times per minute. It keeps getting worse, now sometimes the audio will cut out and not come back until you turn the radio off and on, then it will work fine again for a short time. Or recently it has started making weird thumping or squealing noises. It also now lost all am reception. Just have to unplug it and go back to standard radio reception until I can sent this one back.

I installed this device on to my AVH-3300BT along with the XM radio tuner.
So far it has worked flawlessly. The signal from my glass antenna is perfect and I have had no dropouts. The sound quality is on par with a CD and much better than XM, FM, and of course AM.
My only complaint is with the presets on the head unit. They show up as preset 1,2,etc instead of the station name. This may be more of an issue with the head unit but its still annoying as the XM presets show up with the station name.

This small mike hugely improved my listening experience. Auto Equalize seems to be a Pioneer feature that works well. It is definitely worth the $25.47 with shipping that I paid for it. So far I have had my stereo (Pioneer MVH-P8300BT) in a 2000 VW Eurovan.

The sound quality of the HD signal is dazzling and it's awesome to be able to pull in all the extra stations. I live in the L.A. area and get plenty of programming here. I'm pleased with how well it pulls in the signal in areas where I used to get poor signal quality from my factory tuner. It cuts out pretty bad when the signal is too weak though.
The only real disappointment is the integration with the Pioneer head unit. It's as if the two product teams never talked to each other. The head unit behaves strangely if I leave it on HD Tuner when I turn off the power. So I switch to AUX 1, CD, or USB before I turn off the ignition and then everything is OK. Otherwise the stereo doesn't turn on at all (have to turn it on) or it turns on but the display is all messed up.
The install was very simple. No complaints there.
One big improvement would be a pass-through setting. It wouldn't take much engineering to change it so that you could pass the antenna signal straight through to the head unit in areas where you don't have any HD signal or where the signal is weak. Then you wouldn't have to listen to the tuner fighting itself over deciding which band to use.
But when it's working, it sounds AMAZING. The FM quality is top notch and the AM quality is dazzling.

One more gripe (or "suggestion"?) is that the HD tuner isn't actively tuning unless it is the current Source from the head unit. So if you switch from CD to HD Radio, it takes a few seconds for it to search and tune in the signal. Why?!?!?! As long as there's power from the head unit, it should keep working away and pulling in the best possible signal so it's ready to go whenever you switch to that Source.
I've also noticed a bug where the signal cuts out and that locks up the tuner. The only way to wake it back up is to power off the head unit and turn it back on ("reboot" the stereo).
Again, very poor integration.

I had the HD option installed with the new flagship from Pioneer -- the AVIC-Z120BT in my 2005 Toyota Camry XLE (replacing the outdated OE JBL Navigation system). I also replaced the OE speakers (terrible muffled sound) with Pioneer Premier TS-D520C component speakers in front and a set of 6X9" Kenwood Excelon dnx9140 speakers on the rear deck. To ensure I hear all the HD-quality sounds, I also added the high-efficient and compact Infinity Basslink II subwoofer. Wow! What a great improvement. The HD unit's sound improves the entire dynamics of the broadcast. When you listen to the exact same station via their analog signal then compare it to their simulcast digital signal, the vividness of the sound is truly amazing. I had to tweak the entire speaker system and the graphic equalizer a few times and also adjusted the gain of the subwoofer for each new station, but the awesome sound is worth every penny you spend on the Pioneer HD option. The only down side? The Chicago area has many HD-radio broadcasts, but the HD FM and AM signals apparently don't travel as far as analog. But if you're near the station signal area, you'll enjoy magnificent quality and extra stations that you simply cannot enjoy if you don't opt for this option. Bottom line: you're already spending hundreds of dollars on your new system, so take the extra step and go for the PIONEER GEX-P20HD tuner -- you won't regret it. JHM

I had tried to tweak the EQ on my Pioneer MVH-P8200BT to get the right sound but something was always off like too much highs or lows. I used the auto EQ and it was amazing. Everything was balanced and the mids were so much better. Why tune your EQ when auto EQ can do it for you. I'm definitely impressed.

HD radio add on module has never worked quite right. Very buggy and as of about 2 weeks ago will not boot up with head unit at all. Just says 'tuner error' on the screen. Starting up the head unit and then plugging in the HD radio module then plays but will not reboot with head unit. When it did work, the integration with the displays etc was very poor. No names or frequencies saved for the presets, frequent lock ups etc.
The head unit still works fine but finally gave up and removed the hd radio add on module. Its just not ready for prime time. If you want HD radio, get a head unit with it built in.

Installed this unit with a high end HD Radio Ready Pioneer MVH-P8200BT Multimedia AV Receiver with Built-in Bluetooth. The unit was supposed to be compatible with most Pioneer digital radio equipment. It initially had a difficult time finding signals, would drop signals and play static. While on channel there were frequent digital echoes (very annoying). One month later, it doesn't work at all. I am really disappointed because I have always had great result from Pioneer products.

Do Not Get!!!
Bad reception, volume constantly fluctuates when on digital signal, not the antenna (reception was perfect on old radio).
displays only 1 line of information, yet when antenna is plugged into head unit, it shows 3 lines of info.
Pathetic job by pioneer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a little on the fence weather or not to buy this item as I thought it can't make that much of a difference. I was wrong it made a massive difference in the sound quality in the car. I was constantly messing around with the EQ and just wasn't happy until I ran the Auto EQ setting. Here are a few tips.
1- to access the Auto EQ setting you have to turn off the power completely.
2-If you have an outboard amp make sure you jumper the turn on so the amp is turned on
3-Make sure all is quiet and fan is turned off.

This unit is one of the hardest pieces of tech equipment I have ever had my hands on and I am tech savy. First, I cannot even call the documentation that came with it a manual. Very poorly written and missing most necessary info. Pioneer does not have a FAQ or knowledge base for it nor does it even show up in lists on Pioneers site, it's like it does not exist. The audio locks up all the time, like the sound not only cuts out on the HD Station I am listentin to but the whole head unit audio is locked up. The whole unit behaves in a manner that defies human logic. I do not recommend it to anyone, it is going back.

Oddly enough I'm getting digital reception in places where I used to get very poor analog reception.
Speaking of which, analog reception is considerably worse than the Honda factory head unit that it replaced but around the San Francisco area the digital signals are pretty reliable.
The dynamic range is far wider in HD vs FM, once it locks on digital the tweeters open up and the bass kicks quite a bit lower--love it
HD radio (1/2 channel split) is higher quality than most podcasts over my iphone but certainly worse than 320kbps mp3
