my only real complaint is that they're not dimmable via MSI mystic light. I know they will dim since one of the preset options is a solid color dimming cycle, but mystic light won't dim them. other than that they're very high quality and I have no complaints.

something to note is that the cables are quite long. this is handy at times, but a nuisance when you've already got 6 hard drives worth of cables snaking all along the back panel.

After figuring out how to make it work with my motherboard(msi x399 carbon gaming) finally made it work. my mobo has 2 headers. 1 for the 12v(4-pin) and jrainbow 4 pin connector. The cable that came with it for the 5v header won't work. With MSI Mystic light program the effects was not really that good. especially with breathing and steady modes. the effect are not that smooth. lights are flickering but not with the manual mode though. But overall, quality is very good. Good value for your money.

Took a while before writing this review as I want to get a run with the fans for a few weeks before giving any it conclusion.

Pros:
- Easy to install, nice instructions manual.
- Material use to make the fans are of great quality.
- Braided wires for the fans.
- Low ambient noise even when running at 60% - 75%
- Great amount of airflow intake/ exhaust from the fans.

Cons:
- 1 out of the 5 fans was emitting "clicking" noise in operation when it first arrive (the reason why I wanted to give a run for an extended period of time before posting). After a week or so the "clicking" sound disappear, although it will reappear from time to time again (lesser frequency of occurrence as time passes) but it is not audible enough to be an annoyance if you don't deliberately try to listen to it. Too lazy to make a exchange due to this very minor flaw. I believe the problem will be completely resolved as I give the fan an extended run of operation.

In short, this is a product that I will recommend to anyone looking to buy quality case fans (with/without RGB) with great build quality, great cooling , and given its reasonable low price for the qualities it offers.

Why in the heck are the 3-in-1 kit and 5-in-1 kit fans’ ARGB connectors different? Why would you do that to your customers? We are the people that are modding, building and customizing and it’s impractical to run into this.

Pros:
(1) Good construction - Solid feeling heft to the fans.
(2) Slim & Vibrant led on both sides - looks great mounted exhausting which many other fans lack.

Bad:
(1) Limited to having just 4 fans or just 7 fans in sequence. Due to 3-in-1 kit controller or 5-in-1 kit controller limit respectively.
(2) Each controller requires one motherboard ARGB connection - will not daisy chain to maintain sequence.
(3) Individual (single kit) fan sold here at Amazon is ONLY for the 3-in-1 kit. Beware of this.
(4) Fans are LOUD at max rpm of 2000.

Part of having (digital) ARGB is being able to chain these fans in sequence for the coolest effects that travel down the row. Breathing, Flashing and Pulsing effects don’t need digital prowess and have been done to death decades ago. Nobody buys these fans for that. Very disappointing toying with the remote.

PCCooler has fairly solid fans marred by a complete fail on compatibility within their own kits and poor execution on making them practically useful with other components. I had to buy TWO of the 5-in-1 kits to try and get 8 for this Ryzen build I was doing. I should have been able to use a 5 pack + 3 pack and that would make logical sense wouldn't it? I will be returning these.

I just went with another brand where the ARGB fans are actually compatible with each other across the different same brand kits. 8 fans in a sequence + 2 Led strips on same controller – not too much to ask these days IMHO.

I bought a 5 pack and 2x 3 pack of these fans to replace my very good but non rgb Corsair ML120s. I was expecting to see slightly higher temps as I came from one of the best noise/static pressure fans out there. Indeed I did get a 1-2c temp increase of water temp on load. I do have the 10x Corsair LL as well. I use them in my other system and these are slightly better in performance than the LLs. The build quality on these moonlights are fantastic, excellent weight to them, excellent pet sleeving on the cables. Noise wise they are pretty silent until you get to 1200 rpm. I really don't see why anyone would want to run their fans near the max rpm range unless you like fan noise, as just about every fan out there will get loud after 1200 rpm just a matter of how loud.
In summary, these are well built fans that do an excellent job. Work fine for me using aura. My only complaint is that I think the 5 pack and the 3 packs need to follow the same rgb header format. I would almost rather buy 2x 3 pack then 1 5 pack because of the 3 pack fan layout of wiring. These did surprise me quite a bit, and I am sure if these were resold under any other "big brand" they would be 2x the price and you'd be happy to pay for them.

Comprehensive review below, if you want it short - good performance and appearance for a reasonable cost, along with a good customer service team. Recommended.

Had to contact seller to get a replacement controller box and cable - turned out to be the cable not the box. It did take them a about a week to get a replacement to me, but they did and everything works great now. The email support was helpful, responded quickly when contacted and solved my issue without any problems. Really, what more can you ask for when it comes to customer service. A+

As for the fans themselves they are quite good for the cost. They have a quality feeling to them, heavy, well made, have some type of nylon around the cables, thats a nice touch. The controller on the other hand is a bit cheap feeling but it does the job. They blow a reasonable amount of air, especially considering the cfm most argb fans have, which is the most important part. I'm using them on an air cooler without any issue. They can unfortunately get a bit loud at higher rpms. At lower speeds they are pretty quiet while still doing a fine job.

aesthetically they look fantastic and work great with asrocks argb utility. The stock settings using the controller are actually pretty good too surprisingly. They have a bit of a unique look that I really like personally over the full ring from other brands. The transitions aren't as good as say corsairs, but they're also half the cost so there's that.

Cost is what it really comes down to with these fans. They are very reasonable for what you get. They aren't the quietest fans, but they aren't annoyingly loud even at full speed. Along with customer service that actually responds and tries to rectify issues I can absolutely recommend getting these. The box is a bit cheap but considering the quality of the fans and the fact that it does work pretty well its not difficult to overlook that flaw.

Original review : Well the controller box on the 5 pack of mine is busted. 2 of the ports cause flickering and two don't work. Tried contacting seller to see if they'll send me a new controller box, if not I'll be returning. I'll say the ones that do work look good, but pretty pointless if they don't all work...

5 fan set.. definitely get the 5 fan set..
Great set of rgb fans. I had a lot of questions going into it.. had other rgb stuff I wanted to make work, and wasnt clear if it would.

Well, at least on an asrock b450m pro 4 there are both 3 and 4 pin options, and a header for case fan led.. which I believe is not addressable.. but nonetheless..
...It all works.
There are 2 extra 5v 3 pin headers on the pccooler hub also.
And you can add a 1:2 splitter to each of the 5v outputs if you need more..

Also, get this........
A matching cpu cooler:
The Gamemax Gamma 500 Rainbow uses the exact same fan with a different sticker on it.
See pics.
All in all I would recommend. I am installing them shortly but had the 5 pack all running outside the case and they look great. I'm not an airflow nazi so I cant comment on performance necessarily.. but they seem to do fine, pwm, plus there are three speed options on the remote.
There is nothing better out there for the price. And it looks like plenty of reviews that state when there is an issue, it's taken care of quickly. So, if you're like me, and research til you're dizzy... I'll save you the trouble on this one. Get it.

These fans are beefy. They feel very sturdy and well made. The 3 fan speed modes make it nearly silent on the low RPM mode. Medium and high speeds can be a bit noisy but with headphones on you can barely hear them. So far they have nearly zero vibration with all 5 installed in my Thermaltake N21 Snow Edition. They definitely move some air on even the lowest RPM mode.

The cable management was a nightmare in my case but thats hardly the fan/RGB controllers fault. Set up was super easy just make sure you pay attention to where you plugging cables into. Also I noticed that some of my RGB lights were not working when I set it all up. It turned out I had to flip over the RGB cables that went into the RGB controller. It doesn't have any markings to show how they should be oriented so keep that in mind if you have RGB lights not working. Just flip the cable over.

So far I am very happy with these fans. The lighting is pretty bright my only con is you cant adjust the brightness of the LED.

On to the MSI Mystic Light Sync: So when I hooked up the 4pin 12v RGB connector to my MSI Tomahawk B450m 12v RGB Header. Things got a bit weird. The LED lights began to spaz out and randomly flicker. But I updated the mystic light software and did some tweaking and WAS ABLE TO GET THESE FANS TO SYNC TO MYSTIC LIGHT. However I can only get them to sync with solid colors. And they seem to be a few milliseconds behind. For example if I set the RGB to breathing. The rest of my RGB will go from red to blue for example. Then then these fans will go to blue about a second after the rest. Then the rest have already moved on to a different color before these RGB fans. So I kind of gave up on getting them to sync correctly and just decided to use the included remote. Luckily my CPU Heatsink RGB is Synapse 3 compatible so I used that to sync everything up. And set the case fans to match.

All in all I like these fans. I just wish everyone would decide to get together and make a decision on what RGB header everyone will use.

Found these after hours of searching for reasonably priced addressable rgb fans (5v 3 pin).

Pros:
1. they work flawlessly with Asus Aura on my Asus x570 TUF motherboard. Aura isn't the most straightforward app, but I figured it out.
2. they look awesome. Colors are saturated, there is a nice opaque white housing over the LEDs that makes the colors very smooth. I was looking for the halo effect and these are exactly that.
3. I am new to RGB case accessories, and one thing that wasn't clear but that I am thankful for is that brightness is controllable.
4. they are true PWM fans and are quiet
5. Install was straightforward, but there are some caveats which I will get into below.

Cons
1. all of the fans have both the PWM connector and the ARGB connector bound together until they split about 2 inches from termination. This means you cannot easily connect fans to different PWM connectors on your motherboard - they assume you want to controll ALL case off of one, presumably the CPU, PWM connector to control all case fans. This is a BIG assumption to make. I like to run with negative pressure (top and back case fans set to higher fan speed than front intake fans, and the CPU cooler fans controlled completely independently).
2. the controller box defaults to running in independent mode - ignoring the motherboard argb signals. I understand that not everyone is using these as ARGB and instead as standalone rgb controller, but they are an ARGB set, so I'd like the control signal input to be honored by default. Either way, it's a simple fix and is well documented int he manual. Use the remote to set the controller to ARGB mode then hit the lock button.

Overall I'm extremely happy with these fans. They are half as expensive as some big name brands on the market (corsair, nzxt, thermaltake) it comes with enough fans to fill an entire build. I'm ordering one more so I can have a push+pull fan setup on my cooler master hyper 212 CPU cooler.

I wish there was a 140mm size available from pccooler that was otherwise exactly the same. I love the ring/halo LED ring and would like to be able to put bigger fans in that spin slower for same amount of air flow.

The build quality on these is surprisingly good. They are heavier than I expected and the blades appear to be of good quality. The cords are braided, which is a nice touch. There are anti-vibration pads on all sides so you can mount in a push or pull setup. The LEDs look clean and the light is dispersed enough that you cannot see individual LEDs, but they still appear bright. These fans come with a hub and a remote. This allows you to do all the things you would expect, like changing fan speeds, or LED colors and patterns. Where these fans really shine is the option to allow software to control them.
First, you have the option to plug these into a fan header on the motherboard. At the very least, this allows you to get the fan speed readout in bios and other system monitoring software. What this really allows you to do is enable PWM mode on the remote. This lets your computer's software (usually in the BIOS) to control the fan speed based on the demands of your computer. This is important for noise, it allows it to get slower and less noisy when you're not using the computer as much, but when it gets demand the fans will speed up (theoretically... see cons) cooling the system more.
Secondly, the fan hub has a plug for either a 12v OR 5v RGB header (I guess you could do both? I wouldn't recommend it...). This allows you to control the fans LEDs using software. The 5v header needs to be an Addressable RGB(ARGB) header. The advantage to ARGB is that it can control each LED individually. This is what gives effects like colors spinning around the fan. If you go with a 12v RGB header, you will only be able to change the fan colors as a whole, but it still looks great.

PROS:
- LEDs are clean and bright
- Solid build quality
- Braided Cables
- Ability to control Speed through BIOS PWM settings
- Ability to control lighting with software

CONS:
- No way to adjust brightness with the remote (on/off only)
- Bad/No documentation, and a few gotchas
- Speed doesn't really effect temperatures much (2c difference between high/low fan speeds in CPU stress test, 1c on GPU. . . It is possible that is not a fault of these fans, that difference may be all that ANY fan would give)

GOTCHAS:
- To save your lighting settings, you have to press the LOCK button on the remote.
- To use PWM mode, I had to manually set my fan header to PWM mode in BIOS, it wasn't automatically detecting it

Overall, these are great options to sync with the other RGB in your system without breaking the bank. The cooling is sufficient for my completely aircooled system.
My setup:
- ASUS ROG STRIX X470-f gaming Motherboard
- Ryzen 7 1700 OC'ed to 3.7GHz (65c under load)
- Zotac 1060 6GB AMP graphics card, stock clockspeed (78c under load)
- 16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengence PRO Memory
- ASUS AuraSync + iCUE RGB software controlling the lights

-review for the 5in1 kit-
connected 4pin 12v to mobo rgb. used in-box controller/hub.

pros: these are really good for the price. the lighting is good and pairs really well with others (in photo I have an AMD wraith fan, and trident z neo memory). the fans are well-built. some people say it's noisy but that's when you run it @ the highest setting. if you installed via the controller, the remote has 3 fan settings. It's near silent on the lowest, but sounds like a jet plane on the highest.

cons:
1. you can't daisy chain. the fans are bound to the controller and can't be configured otherwise else you won't be able to control them via remote. the controller has input for 7 fans, so technically you can have up to 7 but you cannot buy individuals and other reviews say the individual fans will not plug into the controller, so you would have to purchase another 5in1 kit. I like the fans enough and they're priced low enough that i'd probably do this but if you account for the controller and the wires it's A LOT of wires to add to the mix. I will likely fill out the rest of my build with non-rgb
2. not sure how this happened, but only 4/5 fans lighting is synced; light modes with movement they go counter clockwise, and flash modes they blink/breathe together. 1 of them goes clockwise, and lights up opposite the others. I don't know why, perhaps I plugged the 5v ping into the controller upside down, it doesn't seem like it would matter though. on static modes and the color change modes the lights are synced, looks great. only a problem with rotational/flash modes.

if the setup could be expanded on with more fans, and if lighting would sync up on all modes i'd give it 5 stars.

This fan set is a great deal if you're looking for an inexpensive RGB cooling system. The lighting is impressively bright and it's Aura sync. They work great when playing demanding games, about 9°C to 10°C cooler than my previous fans without increasing the RPM that much. Despite keeping my case below 23°C while doing nothing, my only issue is that they can be somehow loud, having the fan control set at "balanced" fans registered 43db which is a bit loud if you have your pc next to you if you're not wearing headphones but I guess you get what you pay for. Overall a great purchase.

PROS: These are perfect for what I needed (silent fans) and fit my case and motherboard (NZXT H210i + MSI b450i). I got these to replace a different set of fans (Uphere 5 pack) that were super noisy due to not being pwm fans, this is a huuuge improvement. Once I was able to get the fans setup in my bios the noise level is very minimal, and despite running at a much lower rpm than my old fans, my temps are still great! My motherboard has no addressable rgb so I have to use the default rgb settings with the remote, there's not a lot of variety in shades, but there'll easily be something to go with anyone's setup.
CONS: 1 fan, out of the box, did not run but the RGB was active. Another fan, when installed was running but the RGB was inactive, but after switching the connections around the RGB turned on. But one fan is still unusable so that's the only reason this is 3 stars.

I'm a total beginner with computer builds but this was a pleasant and thankfully easy upgrade to take care of. I'm just lucky that I only needed 4 fans out of the 5 so I had a spare fan to swap out the faulty one for

I had read other reviews saying these fans are of decent of quality and I was willing to test that out myself.

From opening the box to installing the fans, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this fans. The box is nice and thick and of good card stock, so the fans get decent protection in the shipping process. In the box you get a smaller box with 3 sets of screws and plenty of extra RGB connectors and wires, so what ever your RGB setup is you can get these fans going. I was a little concerned about the rubber stoppers being used for the screw placements until I actually went to screw the fan in. This rubber piece reduces the noise the fan makes, and allows the screw to grip is perfectly to the case. I would highly recommend these fans to anyone wanting to add a few extra lights and produce great air flow.

I am currently using these fans as exhaust fans so your experience may differ. These fans do handle just like more expensive name brand ones and handle 1600 rpm just fine.

Bought 2 3 in 1 kits and installed them in a new Lian Li II Build. I was hoping for a close match to the Cooler Master Liquid ML-360R stock fans. They are pugged into my MSI Z490 Mystic Light RGB motherboard. (Three Pin)
System is overclocked to 5.2 Gigahertz. Steady and Stable
All fans perfect out of the box, steady lights and quiet. Seem very well made. There slightly quieter then the stock Cooler Masters.
Of the five fans I added to the case, three are exhaust, top and rear, two are mounted under the vertical mount Video card as intake to help cool the card. The front three are Stock Cooler Master fans on the radiator and there set up to pull. All fans right now are board controlled, Speed and Mystic light. Might do my own curve adjustments later.
CPU Temps running 34c light loads and so far nothing over 72c on games like Shadow of War under heavy loads.
Like any fan, you load up your system and your gonna hear them. So far there performing very well and I am extremely happy with the buy.
You can't go wrong adding these fans to your build and the excellent price is a bonus.

I got the 5 in 1 pack with the full ARGB controller, The quality on these fans blew me away, They aren't Corsair or Cooler Master quality and neither is the RGB controller, But the Fan quality is still pretty much top notch.

Took me a minute to realize that the remote had to put the device into +12v/+5v RGB control and then my motherboard was able to take over
RGB controller is lacking a bit in quality but you wont see it anyway, And it seems to work good for the most part, I realized my Motherboard only has +12v RGB connections so I will have to find out some other time how the controller operates with +5v. Heck this controller even is able to control my Water-Cooling ARGB for static colors in Red and Green only and its a Corsair water cooling setup with their proprietary connectors.

These fans push a hell of a lot of air and are working flawlessly with my Phanteks P600's Fan controller as well.

Overall, Im happy with my purchase and am glad I didn't pay over 200$ for 5 fans and an RGB controller. Would buy again and will let my friends know that these are a good option

TLDR; Not a top performer, but the best dang value for your money on either side of the Mississippi.

I think we need to take a step back and look at the big picture here. Are these Noctua with RGB? No they are not. Are they the best dang set of RGB fans I’ve had at this price range? You bet.

In terms of noise and airflow, I’d say they are a slight upgrade from any kind of stock fan you’d normally get in a case. The case I’ve tested these in is the InWin 101 and my temps are absolutely fine.

In terms of the hub and cable clutter, I think these fans handle their lighting solution as best as can be expected. It’s going to add a LOT of cables to your case. However coming from NZXT HUE, they don’t seem to clutter your case anymore than a name brand.

To be honest, I absolutely love The fact this comes with a remote. I HATE every lighting software there is. I’ve used CUE, CAM, and AURA so far and I hate them all. Pointless Software clutter and clunky UI. I wish everything in my case could be controlled via remote. Just velcroed the remote underneath my desk so it’s always in reach.

I found myself in the market for some new case fans after struggling to find fans that were compatible with the existing fans on my Thermaltake case (including actual Thermaltake brand fans!). Eventually I decided to just replace every fan in the case.

I chose these because: 1) I liked the subtle effect of the ring LED, and 2) I liked that these fans have their own control. Since I run Linux, there isn't yet an easy way to control RGB stuff via the OS.

As soon as I picked up the box, i knew there fans were different. They're noticeably heavier than other fans I've used, and the build quality seems very good as well. Installation was pretty easy, though you'll get a snakes den of cables to manage when it comes time to button up the case.

The reasons for 4 stars instead of 5:
- These fans seem a little thicker at the mounting points than your standard fan. My case needs the long screws to mount the front fans, but none of the screws I had were quite long enough to mount the fans without really forcing it. I ended up taking a trip to the local hardware store to pick up some longer screws (6/32).
- The description says "12 RGB modes" but nothing in the paperwork explains what the modes are, so you have to just hunt and peck until you find one you like. I wanted an "always on, single color" mode but I couldn't find it. So the instructions could be better.
- The remote has a setting for motherboard controlled fan speed. When I select this, I just get max speed, even though the original fans usually operated at low. Not sure if this is just the signal from the motherboard not being interpreted correctly by the fans, or something else, but I ended up manually setting the fan speed.

That's about it. Pretty pleased with the purchase. These will not be re-gifted like the last set of fans I bought.

The rgb looks good, the fans function as described, installation is the same as any other fan I've installed, rgb controller works nicely and the overall design aesthetic looks good (in my opinion).

Where it leaves some to be desired are the noise they produce and the white color mode has a noticeable purple hue. It sounds like my pc is about to fly off my desk when these get up to speed. I had to drop the fan speed to its minimum to not hear them. The sound isn't offensive to me, but it can be a bit much, even at its medium setting. I also have an issue were I can set fan curve in the bios but once I use the remote controller to set the speed, it sets the speed to maximum when I switch them back to PWM control. I then have to go back into the bios to reset the fan curve. This may or may not be an issue with the fans but its inconvenient.

All in all, these aren't too bad but certainly not the best. I only paid $45 for the set of 5 so I can't complain too much. I wanted cheap rgb fans and these are, from what I can tell, better than the other budget fans out there. I would recommend to anyone who wants RGB fans and wants to get 5 fans for the price of 1 high-end fan.

Fantastic fans for the price, I really like how they look, and they're keeping my new PC really cool. I don't think they're particularly loud, especially at lower to medium RPM. That said, below are two (seemingly) undocumented things to know!

Once I was set up and running, I used Dragon Center (MSI Mystic Light) for setting the RGB. Initially, the fans would not change, despite everything else changing. I played with the remote, and discovered that pressing either of the "FRGB" or "RGB" buttons worked. However, when my computer went to sleep (or shut down), it would default back to the rainbow display, until pressing one of the above RGB buttons again. This doesn't appear to be documented, but what you need to do, is set it to "FRGB" or "RGB" (5V or 12V headers on your mobo) to give the motherboard control again, and then press the "lock" icon to lock this decision in. What this does, is tells the included RGB controller that it is no longer in control, the motherboard is, which will stop it from defaulting on sleep / restart / shutdown. I personally set this, removed the battery, and put the remote away.

The 5 in 1 kit is great, and the RGB controller has room for 7 RGB items to be plugged in. For me, my case has 7 fans - 3 front, 1 rear, 3 top (front intake, rear / top exhaust). I bought 2 more of these individually, and thought I'd have an easy time plugging it all in. First off, cable management with 5-7 fans with power and RGB is NOT easy, don't underestimate the amount of cabling involved. More importantly, the 5 in 1 kit comes with a FAN PWM splitter cable, that allows you to connect 5 fans to the controller HUB. This works for the 5 in 1 kit flawlessly, but when you buy 2 extra fans yourself, you're left with no way to power the 2 additional fans, as the RGB plugs into the HUB as the others did, but the RGB and power split off the fan with about 1 inch each way, meaning unless you have power about 1 inch from the HUB (99% chance you don't), you don't have power to your 2 additional fans. If you use 7 fans (not 5), you will need to purchase / use a fan PWM extension / splitter for the 2 additional fans without power. This can be a cable each, or a single cable that splits into 2, whatever works. Just note that the controller is "slightly" misleading in having 7 slots, but no way to power 7 fans with what's included.

All in all, these are amazing fans for the money. They look fantastic, they keep the machine cool, and you won't get close to beating them for the money. I put these in a $2k+ build FWIW, and I wouldn't skimp on cooling in such a great machine. As long as you know what you're buying, these are a fantastic purchase.

I was in the process of ordering a new motherboard and cpu for an upgrade so I said I might as well get some rgb fans to go with the new board and my previous corsair fans while still being fine were getting 5 plus years old. Just giving these a shot being so cheap compared to set of corsair rgbs. I am pleasantly surprised. The build quality is pretty basic outer shells are not anything super FANcy and you can tell its not quite an extremely quality plastic like top tier brands offer but who cares if it does its job. They come with a 3 to 1 plug adapter for all 3 fans to connect to a single 3 pin rgb header which also has extra spot for extending these for more fans. It also has some other options if you don't have RGB support built in with an inline controller. I am using a b550 Gigabyte Aorus itx Mobo it didn't require any special plug just your basic 3PIN.

Now the actual fans themselves. Spins smooth, no weird noises. Mounted super easy with anti vibration pads. I have these as my only 3 fans in the Fractal Nano S case. Positive pressure setup 2 intake 1 exhaust and they are all mounted to radiators. I have a 240mm Arctic freezer with 2 on pull and 1 on a thermaltake 3.0 performer on exhaust. All 3 fans registered a range of +/-850 to 1900rpm 30%-100%. Rgbs sync'd seamlessly with my motherboard built in Leds. At full speed you can hear the smooth whoosh of air, it is still fairly quiet no whining or irritating noise. And at 60 percent and under they are practically silent. Now my case does have built in sound deadening material but even with the side panel off there is very little difference in a quiet room. Air flow seems fairly standard, my pc stays cool threw gaming usually around 55c. My Oc'd 2080 stays cool off the 120mm under 65c and the 3700x as well under 73c at full load with OCCT tests. Great deal in my opinion. If you want your flashy lights with a functional set of fans its a no brainer.

I have learned over time most fans often don't need to be full bore to be effective and setting a basic passive profile will always improve overall experience, the difference between excessive noise and quiet operation is normally a few degrees at best for even the worst fans. Can definitely recommend.

These fans only work in special numbers. It's really difficult or impossible to add to the set. I bought a 3 pack fan set and 2 individual fans to install 5 in a case. Short story, you can add a 4th fan to the 3-pack, but can't add any more without extra hardware that is expensive and hard to find. The 3-pack and individual fans have strange proprietary rgb clips that I've never seen on anything else so really hard to even find hardware to make it work.

So I bought the 5 pack. Now decided it would be cool to put these on my CPU cooler as well, so 6-7 fans would be the sweet spot. Unfortunately, the individual or 3 pack fans that I already have can't be added to the 5 pack fans because they use different connectors. So there's no way to add a 6th fan... unless you buy another 5 pack with more compatible fans. So as long as you want exactly 3 or 5 fans, this kit will be great for you. I really liked the look of these fans, but setting them up has been a terrible experience.

I saw Bitwit review the three fan set on Youtube and was impressed, so I ordered the 5 in 1 kit. I ordered them mi-May and just installed them over the Independence Day weekend (huge mistake for waiting so long). I am very experienced with working on computers, building my own, and troubleshooting. These things are, thus far, crap.

I have yet to get any LED action on these things AT ALL. That is trying though mu motherboard and using the controller. I was able to get four out of five of the fans to at least work but once I removed the ARGB cable none of them work. I would have been better off and about three hours ahead of the game to have just tossed these in the garbage and kept my old red ring fans. Oops, make that FOUR hours ahead as I still have to remove these and reinstall my previous fans.

If someone from PCCooler would contact me and help me get these going it would be great but since they don't even list them on their website I figure I am just out 65.99 and I won't forget it.

Great kit. In the 5-pack (but not the 3-pack) the fans use the normal 5v ARGB addressable "3-pin" SIGNAL type. BUT they actually use a 4-pin connector like the old 12v RGB system. This sounds bad and proprietary at first, but this is really cool though, because with 4-pins you get data-in and data-out on the LED signal lines, so you can run multiple fans in serial instead of parallel.

Each fan LED in the line is actually uniquely addressable. All these 5v "3-pin" RBG devices are really just WS2812B devices under the hood, just like the common 5v addressable LED strips that are 5v 4-pin ARGB. So you can use much more exotic effects if you wire up your fans in serial, which you can do if you have all 4-pins available.

Do note that this requires some custom wiring and associated skills, but its great that these fans include all 4-pins so you can connect them in serial. Otherwise, like most motherboard "5v 3-pin" all the fans do the same effect, which is fine, but already dated compared to what you can do if each LED on each fan is uniquely addressable down the line.

It makes sense they force the "3-pin" paradigm to try to help people from accidentally plugging in an older 12v 4-pin RGB fan into the newer 5v 3pin standard. But the 5v 3-pin standard actually SHOULD have that 4th pin to connect these things in serial; just like the RGB led light strips they are built with.

Great fans too, high pressure, high CFM ratings. The included controller is a little intimidating to figure out the wiring for novices, but is simple enough.

The FAN controller is great too. It passes through the motherboards PWM signal to all attached fans, but the power comes from the SATA connector to avoid over-loading the single motherboard output. The RPM reading is read only from the 1st fan in the chain, but since all these fans are identical, the reading the motherboard gets will reflect all the attached fans. This is the right way to wire up multiple fans to a single header, good to see they've done it right in the controller.

You can also bypass the PWM entirely, and just use the High-Med-Low control on the remote.

This is a high-end fan kit at a great price. I highly suggest the 5-pack for advanced usage and possibilities with the 4-pin fans connections for the ARGB (which is technically seen as proprietary in the PC world, but is actually the standard for 5v ARGB LED light strips). And I suggest the 3-pack for beginner and normal ARGB usage because of the normal "standard PC 3-pin 5v ARGB" connections on all the included fans. But note these will forever be limited to parralel wiring where each fan's LEDS will always be doing the same thing relative to each other. No option for individual addressing across fans.

You can convert the 5-pack's 4-pin connector to a 3-pin connector just fine, but not vice-versa, so the 5-pack would be recommended if you think you'll ever want to start doing more advanced ARGB setups and effects.

Take note the controller by default starts up each time with its internal default settings. You can override this and "lock" your settings for each startup. Hold the Lock button on the remote for 5 seconds, then set your settings how you like, then press "lock" again on the remote. Now it will retain your desired boot-up settings.

In my final setup I'm actually bypassing the motherboard and this ARGB controller entirely, and controlling these with custom ARGB wiring in serial, which was easy to do since all 4-pins are available at each fans 5v ARGB connector. The 5v ARGB input connects to an ESP32 running WLED software which uses the FastLED library for TONS of advanced effects compared to what motherboard software lets you do. This custom controller combined with custom wiring, allows for 100% unique RGB layouts, and no modifications to the actual fans was needed either. Just how they all wire up. ESP32's are about $10, and the WLED software is opensource/free. So go to town and do something unique with all these addressable LEDs!

Comparing 3 x RGB fans Kit under $50 with good airflow (spec-wise).

The contenders are,
Pccooler Dawn Series 3M120HALO LED RGB
Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB
ID Cooling XF-12025-RGB-TRIO-SNOW

Build Quality Ranking: Cooler Master > ID Cooling >>> Pccooler

Pccooler feels much cheaper in build quality compared to other two.
Cooler Master comes sleeved in white which is a nice touch. It does come with extenders which are black
ID Cooling doesn't provide sleeved cables while Pccooler is sleeved.

Airflow Ranking: Cooler Master > ID Cooling >> Pccooler
Pccooler Dawn Series 3M120HALO LED RGB is rated for a Max. Air flow of 72 CFM @ 2000 RPM
Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB is rated for a Max. Air flow of 62 CFM max @ 1800 RPM
ID Cooling XF-12025-RGB-TRIO-SNOW is rated for a Max. Air flow of 74.5 CFM @ 1800 RPM

Test Method
I measured the air flow in m/s and used a calculator to do the conversion with radius of 60 mm.
An anemometer was used to measure air flow at approx. 8 inch distance from the fans.
Fans were set to max speed in BIOS.

Test Results
Pccooler CFM 36.0, RPM 2000. Cooler Master CFM 50.3, RPM 1800 and ID Cooling results: CFM 45.5, RPM 1800.
The results were a bit surprising as I expected the ID cooling to have good airflow. It seems like both
Pccooler and ID cooling are exaggerating the air flow numbers. The lowest spec Cooler Master with 62 CFM
actually turned out the winner in air flow test.

RGB intensity Ranking: Cooler Master > Pccooler >>> ID Cooling
ID Cooling utilizes a 12v RGB connector and supports changing modes using an included IR remote.
Pccooler and CM both utilize 5v ARGB headers to support RGB lighting.

ID cooling feels fairly dull in comparison to other two.
Colors are not as accurate as compared to other two either. Perhaps that's due to 12v RGB. I ain't sure about it.

Noise Ranking (spec wise): Cooler Master > Pccooler >> ID Cooling

Summary:
Overall the Cooler Master wins in all categories for me so that one's a keeper.
If you need RGB fans under $50 with good airflow go with the Sickleflow V2.

To start with, they look good. The LEDs are bright, the fans move air. With the remote, and you can set it to a bunch of different effects.

My only problem is that I cannot get the controller to sync to my MOBO (Aorus X570 Elite WIFI) for neither the ARGB or the PMW. I don't know if I got a defective controller, but nothing I've tried, including replacing the included ARGB cable the came with it. The lights come on and the fans spin, but the only way to change any of it is through the remote (to the credit of the product, the remote control works well). This is mainly annoying because every time you reboot your computer, you have to reset the lights for the fans.

The fans get loud at 100%, noticeable without music/gaming sounds at 50%, and barely a whisper at the lowest setting.
For what you're spending, these are a good value. But, like the old quote says; you get what you pay for.

Ordered the 5 pack, install is simple enough to figure out with zero help from the manual (it’s literally completely written in what looks like Chinese). These fans are SUPER loud at any setting over the lowest setting unlike other reviews I’ve read that said they are fairly quiet. They do move a ton of air though.

Not hugely impressed with the quality of the RGB to be honest, they seem to flicker quite a lot and there is not slow breathing change from color to color, it’s more like a light switch effect, one color off, next color on unlike the fans that came with my Lian Li Galahad 360. Not sure if this is a controller issue (as you have to use their controller for the RGB to be addressable). RGB lights seems to not be able to make their mind up on which color they are supposed to be. My RAM, CPU cooler, and motherboard with all be one color and the fans will briefly be a totally different color before finally realizing they should be the same color as everything else. It happens about every 6-8th color change. For instance my cooler, ram, and Mobo will go from green to blue and the fans will go from green to orange before finally switching to blue. It’s pretty annoying but for the price I guess I can’t expect much.

The remote works well and at a fair distance from the computer case even though the controller is enclosed in the back of the case out of view.

I decided to buy this because I had purchased a used case at Goodwill and they had removed the included fans to get more money. It appeared they already has sold the fans separately, so I turned to Amazon. I figured if I was going to get new fans, I may as well get color changing ones. Since my motherboard did not have an RGB connector on it, I thought this was perfect since it has built-in animations.

I put the PC components in the new case and installed the fans. The installation instructions were easy to follow. Everything fits and works great. I was able to mount the control box in a place with velcro so that I can use the IR remote through the side of the computer without opening it up. The only issue I've had is because these fans work so well, I have to occasionally wipe off the loose cat hair off the side and front of the computer.

Great all in one RGB fan bundle. It comes with 5 rgb fans and controller.
Controller is able to take 12 v signal from motherboard. LED in the fans are 5v leds. Controller converts 12v to 5v signal.
Fan are similar to nuctua. They have fan blades like Noctua p12 with antivibration rubber corners long with braided cables.
You are able to control fan speed from motherboard along with rgb lights. You can also connect to PWM and let motherboard control fan speeds.

Onle issue i had was intermittent RGB light error and flickers. It would turn in to RED led when motherboard is sending out BLUE signal. I have to reset on the remote to show same color again.
Also it flickers on some colors. Its RED,GREEN,BLUE (RGB) that controls each color brightness to show other colors. If you have color in between such as light blue or pink, it will give out intermittent flicker. To fix this issue, you have to reset from remote.
Its buggy on controller side but not bad for price.

Why get this beside those fan from reputable brand? Because of the price obviously. A pack of 5 RGB fan for 2/3 the price compare to a pack of 3 RGB fan for $100 from famous brand. However, the price is good, but the quality could be better. I have been using it everyday for 2 months now. The RGB still looks the same as day one, beautiful and smooth color. The actual job of being a computer fan, not so good. Three of them have started to squeak and made a humming sound the moment I started my game. On day one, they didn't have this problem. It wasn't dust or anything got stuck to it, because I have cleaned and inspected it.
If only these fans are better quality, this pack of 5 sure would be a steal and I would definitely recommend these to my friends. Once the fan started to make humming sound, I know it is on the edge of life.

I ordered the 5 pack of fans and one of yhr connectors was loose somehow not allowing one of the fans to light up. I contacted PCCOOLER and they were more than helpful. Got me set up with a replacement instantly. Now all 5 fans are working perfect and look amazing. My motherboard doesn't have the argb port so I have to use the remote. It works great and there are plenty of color combos. I have them each connected to their own fan port on the board so that my computer can control them. This has to be done if you want your computer to control them. Otherwise it's just controlled by the remote control. You also have to switch your bios over from DC to PCM or whatever it is called. Other than the hiccup with a cable he hey are very good quality and don't at all feel cheap and they are some of he hey he best looking lights I have ever seen on a fan and both sides of the fan light up so it doesn't matter if they're for intake or exhaust. They push a good amount of air too. My computer runs cooler than ever with these in it. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

These do not work with JRGB. I wanted my mother board (MSI Gaming Plus Max) to be able to control these, but it only supports 4 pin JRGB. Its my own fault for not doing enough research before buying. However, I did manage to get the lights working with the included controller and then I wired the controller so that it is accessable out of the back of my case. Now I have an amazing light show... I just have to press the buttons on the back of the case to change them.

The fans are very well made out of high quality plastic. They are very sturdy. They're more sturdy than my case's included fans and much more powerful, so figuring out the right airflow was a bit of a challenge. But now that I figured it out my cpu never gets above 60 degrees under load.

I only gave 4 stars for installation because it was a bit challenging to get the rgb lighting to work for me and the instructions were not much help. Otherwise I am very pleased with this purchase.

[This is a review for the 5-fan package.]

Usually I do a tl;dr with pros and cons on a review, but I bought these for a resell build that I wasn't going to OC, benchmark, or really use besides set-up and update. So let me just give you the basics of my experience on building with these:

PROS:
• The install is dummy simple, but I guess what fan isn't.
• It's easy to wire up to the hub. First time messing around with RGB fans, and it was a cinch.
• Plug-and-play. Worked like a charm and was controllable through Asus Aura no problems.
• The build quality is pretty solid, more-so than you'd expect for (what's roughly) $12 dollar fans.

CONS:
• The wiring can get pretty messy in the back. You've got (what I'm guessing is) 2 cables sleeved together, but they terminate into the fan and RGB heads at the end. 5 RGB headers into the hub, 5 fan headers into the 5->1 cable, and that cable into the hub. SATA power and the RGB control cable make for a giant spider web cluster of cables. Luckily my case accommodated just shoving the bundle next to the PSU since it's got a covered bottom compartment, but for people with more bare cases this may be a problem.
• The RGB isn't like, "buttery" smooth? Like you can kinda tell it's not as fluid as say, TridentZ RGB color transitions. Basically you can kinda see the lights jump from LED to LED, but not atrociously so.

And honestly that's about it. Not many cons, but I haven't pushed these to the limit or benchmarked them by any means. Next to my actual rig with ML120's and AF12-25's it runs about the same db, and I have no idea about the air flow it's pushing. Love the look of 'em though, and I love how easy it was to setup.

The fan is very quite. Its made well and the included cabling allowed me to connect this to my b450 gigabyte motherboard VDG to control RGB and fan ports for power. The colors are good. The color transition is a bit quick thought. If you like pulse or breathing setting its not as slow as I would like it. I'm Comparing this to the Wraith CPU RGB fan I have which does smoother slows transitions from one color to the next. Thought I use static colors for my case fans and only the center of my Wraith pulses its color. At this time I have only used one of the fan to replace one that sent bad. I will use the others when I upgrade my case. So far so good.

I'm rewriting this review to also include some Important information that was left out of the install instructions for the Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER.
The VGD part of the instructions are not even listed on the manual for the motherboard, which is why this install was a bit confusing. Despite the fact the fans came with a vdg cable, the spacing of pins did fit this cable. This is because you must use one of the two led converter cables that come with the motherboard and plug the vdg cable into it. Make sure the V on the cable and white line face same direction or the calibration wont work. The second set of 4 pins next to the VGD take the cable that is marked for MSI/ASUS that is normally left out. Make sure the white line of cable lines up with pin 1. Once both settings are calibrated, the fusion software gives a different but somewhat good selection of choices. If you dont like them, you can always choose the prebuilt ones in with the remote.

Pros:
Fans are heavy-duty and quite quiet in slow and medium speeds. Fast they can be heard, but not disturbing.
Set up can be locked in to prevent reset each pc reboot.
Fans can be daisychaned as long as you use the same 5 port controller. 5 and 3 port do not work together.
Airflow is better than the 200mm fans the TT case came with using the 120mm fans and actually a lot more quiet.
Price is great compared to Corsair. Corsair you can't daisychain unless you spend $100+ for their multi splitter which you can buy from others for $10, but again not needed for this fan set as they interconnect.

Cons:
Setup a little confusing for the above motherboard.
Screws that come with fans dont always fit all locations, and the taller type are also needed so save those long screws when removing old fans.
Not all fan cable markings fully visable, so there is risk putting connector backwards.

Was looking for fans for a PC my gf was putting together and came across these, she isn't overclocking and just wanted something with rgb, good airflow and wasn't a ridiculous price.

After watching a review from bitwit on YouTube about these we decided to give them a try, we got the 5 pack at only 60 bucks, so if they were junk wasn't a total loss. The fans arrived in 2 days, got them installed and I have to say I was pretty impressed with them. The feel of them doesn't feel cheap at all, they actually have some weight to them, the color and patterns are really nice and have a decent brightness to them(she only has these rgb fans and the inside of the case lights up pretty decent) they can also be controlled by her msi MB. The airflow on these is pretty good also and keep her case pretty cool, on full speed which is around what they say 1800rpm these things aren't to loud at least quieter than the noctua fans I have in my PC.

The only thing I didn't like were how the wires that came out of the fan for the fan control and rgb were wrapped together in the same loom, made it a little hard to get everything in the back of the case nice, but I'm not gonna take a star away for that.

So in the end if you're looking for rgb fans with nice lighting, good airflow at a decent price then these are the ones to get.
