- + Отличное качество снимков.Есть режим Live MOS, хороший процессор. Удобно лежит в руке. Все основные кнопки вынесены на корпус. Быстро включается. Возможность установки разных типов объективов. Возможность установки 2-х карт памяти. Быстродействие. Хороший аккумулятор.
- - Недостатки НУЖНО ИСКАТЬ В СЕБЕ!
Дорогие объективы zuiko, но они этого стоят.

отличный фот, стоит своих денег
- + Фоткаю уже три гуда с этим помошником, и еще ни разу не подвел, и в дождь и в снег и в мороз, отличная тушка. Объектив 14-54 из серии про, тоже влаго и пыле- защищенный, а светосильный просто чума. Эффект боке как нечего делать.

- + Можно считать самой недорогой профессиональной камерой. Всё, что дешевле, хотя бы немного не дотягивает до этого уровня - чаще всего из-за недостаточной защищённости корпуса.
Стабилизатор очень хорош. Вот пример его работы: http://kabatov.livejournal.com/45503.html - - Неполноценный Live View. В «режиме мыльницы» не работают датчики автофокусировки: следящий автофокус невозможен, покадровый же срабатывает с ощутимой...

Е-3 в связке с объективом 12-60 по моему глубокому убеждению еще никто из конкурентов не смог переплюнуть по цене и качеству выдаваемой картинки. Плюс к этому потрясная эргономика и пыле-влаго-защита! Люди доверяйте себе а не рекламе!

- + пылевлагозащищенность,вес с про оптикой гораздо меньше чем у C N. цветопередача - это фишка оли!, вообще отличная камера недавно удостоилась первой премии у жюри проф фотографов и журналистов

I've been using this camera body for about 6 months now and overall am satisfied but there are big reliability issues in my opinion. I switched to Micro 4/3 after years of using Panasonic compact travel zoom point and shoot cameras (ZS/TZ series) previously so will be reviewing from that perspective. As point and shoot manufacturers have continually engaged in a game to see who can offer the most megapixels the amount of noise in the newer point and shoot camera images forced me to switch formats.
Pros
Image quality is excellent compared to the new point and shoot cameras and on par with DSLR's. The images taken by the E-P5 are very sharp and can be cropped without losing quality. The Auto and Scene modes work well for those who want point and shoot functionality and not worry about adjusting ISO, aperture, shutter speed, etc. Excellent image quality is the main reason I have chosen to stick with this camera.
The tilting LCD screen is excellent and I find myself wondering how I was ever able to use a camera that did not have one. It is an incredible help when taking images at odd heights or in harsh lighting.
Menus and controls are incredibly detailed and customizable. It takes time to get used to the menus to know where to find things but almost everything can be customized if you know where to look.
Image stabilization in the camera body works well and I can get great shots handheld with all lenses except the 75-300 at the 300 end where I have to either use a tripod or stabilize against a nearby object.
The all metal camera body stands up to the elements well. I have bumped mine into countless tree branches in the woods and dropped them a couple of times onto grass and don't even have a scratch on either body. I would definitely appreciate a water and dust proof body like the OM-D model but the OM-D is just too big.
I have not used a viewfinder for years and always use the LCD screen on cameras to take shots. I have incredibly light sensitive eyes and always wear sunglasses in daytime hours so could not look through a viewfinder even if this camera body had one. The lack of a viewfinder means less weight and bulk and is a positive thing to me.
Burst mode is impressively fast and I've used it to take around 90 shots consecutively of an animal on the move using a class 10 memory card with no waiting for buffering.
Cons
Reliability. I purchased my first E-P5 body in May and within a month had to send it in for repairs because it began shutting itself off immediately when power was turned on. When I got it back from repairs in less than a month's time it broke again and would not recognize any lens that was attached. This happened while I was on vacation on an island and I had to use my old point and shoot that I had luckily packed for all photos. While it was getting fixed the second time I purchased a second E-P5 body as a backup in case of another failure at a critical time and within the first two months of owning that body it also had to go in for repairs because it had the self shut off problem experienced with the first body. It is due to this horrible reliability so far with two bodies that I cannot give this item more than 3 stars. If I was going somewhere where a camera was critical (hiking for example) I would have to carry two bodies because I cannot trust this camera to work when needed. I will revise my review in time if reliability gets better but for now my opinion is this model is unreliable and if it breaks again I will probably give up and get a different brand.
Size/ergonomics - Yes this camera is smaller than a DSLR but it is still quite large and heavy. My Panasonic compact point and shoot camera packs a equivalent focal length of 24-720mm and weighs about 12 ounces including the carrying case. The Pen E-P5 body alone weighs around a pound. If you toss in a minimum of three lenses to try to match the functionality my compact camera has (12mm prime, 14-150, and 75-300 for instance) you are now carrying close to 5 pounds of camera equipment and cases. Over the course of a 20 mile day hike with thousands of feet in elevation gained and lost 4 extra pounds of weight on your back is incredibly significant. Size wise it is a large camera body compared to a point and shoot and required me to try all types of larger cases for carrying. Ergonomically the camera fits well in the hand and all controls are easy to reach but I really dislike the eyelets on the sides of the body which dig into my hands.
The interval shooting mode is limited to 99 shots. There is no reason for this limitation that I can think of other than to cause annoyance to the consumer. Aftermarket timers are available but they are also limited to 399 shots. There are point and shoot cameras available that can take 999 interval shots and this camera should offer at least that many.

First the good:
Image quality is excellent. Evidently, there's a good processor, they've taken off anti aliasing filter, there's a 5 axis in-body image stabilization, and I guess, good lenses. I did a lot of research on them, but you never know for sure until you use them.
Speaking of lenses, this camera has access to 16 Olympus MFT lenses and the number is growing. Also, it can use 26 MFT lenses by other manufacturers, and 23 4/3 legacy lenses.
The body feels good in the hand. Well built, with DSLR styling which I prefer to some of the smaller MFT cameras. There's an ample number of buttons and dials for quick control. In addition, the body is dust, splash, and freeze proof. And did I mention that it's small and light? Not light like a point and shoot, but compared to my DSLR get-up, for sure!
The electronic viewfinder is 2.36M dots and it's the first one I've used that I've liked. That's a big "whew!" for me. The LCD is 3" with expected excellent resolution. It tilts out if you like and you can turn on touchscreen controls. I don't think I'll use much, but it's nice to know it's there.
The sensor has a combination of contrast detection and phase detection and uses one or the other depending on shooting mode. C-AF uses the latter and helps with continuous focusing while shooting action. A lot of MFT cameras only have contrast detection. I've certainly not had much of a chance to really see how it does, but first impression is that I think it's going to work for me with most moving subjects. I'm going to explore more with AF-On shooting too.
In conjunction with the above, it shoots 10fps when focus is set and 6 1/2 fps when focus moves. That's about the same as my Nikon, so good enough.
I like that shutter range is 1/8000 to 60 seconds, but what I really like is that in addition to Bulb mode, there's a Time mode that allows for interval shooting AND you can see the image on the LCD as it develops. I have not tried any of this yet, so am not sure I have it clear, or if it works well.
There's HDR bracketing...3,5 or 7 frames at +/-2 or +/-3. There's also an option to have the camera take 4 shots at different exposures at one time and it combines them into one composite in camera. Again, haven't used yet.
There's AE, WB, ISO bracketing.
There's multiple exposure option.
Typical scene modes.
And lastly...WI-FI. You can use your phone to take photos remotely, you can import photos from camera card to phone's camera roll, and you can geotag photos. The latter doesn't require a wi-fi connection. Just activate the feature on the phone app and it records coordinates. Later, when connected to wi-fi, the coordinates can be transferred to the EXIF information on the memory card. A couple of caveats: First... the app deals with JPEGS only, so if you intend to get a RAW image, you need to set camera to record RAW+JPEG. When you go to Lightroom to import photos taken remotely with the app, you will get a RAW image along side of the JPEG, but otherwise, you're just going to get JPEG image even if you're set on RAW. I can't explain why. I just know it took me a while to figure this out. The app only imports the JPEG when doing that, which is fine since you're not wanting RAW files on your phone. And the second caveat is that it still remains to be seen if the GPS information will be read by Lightroom. Olympus is sure it works with their proprietary software.
So now a few things not so good:
I really would like to have "sticky" menus. As it is, if you leave the menu or if the camera goes dark before you have a chance to think about what you want to do, it takes you back to the main menu and you have to dig your way through again. Boo hiss! I'm hoping this will become less of an annoyance once I have camera set up.
There are 11 art filters, including pin-hole. As is usually the case, this sort of work is best done in Lightroom, et al. I've used once and didn't like results. Might try again, but only one that interests me is pin-hole.
The battery compartment is on bottom and if you plan to have a tripod plate attached, you'd better get a custom one so you can get into it...and you WILL need to get into it. Like all mirrorless cameras, it drinks power and you had better have extra batteries on hand. A far cry from my Nikon where I could go all day and then some on same charge. I've ordered a plate from Really Right Stuff.
There's a Panorama mode, but it's not automatic. If my phone can do it, why can't a camera? Maybe some do, and if so, I don't know why Olympus didn't.
Finally...there is one flimsy feeling part on the camera. That would be the cover to the cable/mike ports. It seems to be attached by just a sliver of plastic. Fortunately, I won't be accessing often. But if you're a videographer and use an external microphone
