The Wii is easy to use and it's a nice way for this grandma to get some exercise on a winter day. The two game disks that came with it have a large variety of activities.

My whole family loves Nintendo game so of course I had to get this! :-)If you are good with networking, or Google Searching, maybe a little of both, this was a little tough to get started because the network issues out of the box. Once updated though, it is so much fun to play! I hope future consoles will be updated before being sent out for those that may have a hard time getting it connected to the internet for the fist time.The best thing about the Nintendo Wii U, is that it plays Wii games and uses the Tablet for Wii U games. I got New Supper Mario U and Nintendo Land with this and what is cool is that you can even play some games like New Super Mario U with just the Tablet when playing by yourself. When playing with others, you can play up to 5 players with the person playing the Tablet interacting with those playing on the TV. With Nintendo Land, it uses the Tablet and TV to play little puzzle games and interact with things your are doing on the TV in a 360 degree view. A little challenging but really cool!I hope this review helps other. Enjoy. :-)

After many phone calls & fixes the game continues to freeze during play.

Nintendo sent me a technical support phone # for Warner Bros. I called and got a human right away after a few phone options. The person I spoke with was great! He acknowledged the problem and walked me through some trouble shooting to try and fix the problem. So far, the solutions have worked!!! My kids have put in about 3 hours of play time over the last several days and no locking up has occured, so after some perserverance we have the game going and working great!
I'm keeping my overall rating at 3 stars because of the hassle I had to go through to get the technical support to fix the game, otherwise it's an awesome game.

My kids LOVE this game it's too bad that it continually freezes up throughout the game. I've exchanged it 3 different times and every game does the same thing. I've contacted Nintendo,i they normally are awesome about offering fixes for games as they discover the bugs, however in this case they are saying that its not made by Nintendo, but Warner Bros. They did forward me WB contact info. I've called and left messages and sent emails, I haven't heard back from them yet. I'll be happy to update this review when I do.
It's really a shame and very disappointing to pay this much for a game only to find out that it's been released with bugs.
The pros are that the characters actually talk, which my kids think is very cool. They love playing 2 player with split screen against each other, but ultimately they quit playing because they get so frustrated with it locking up.

It works so I am not sure what else to say about it. If you have a TV like myself that doesn't have the traditional AV inputs then you have to have this.

Something to keep in mind, is that the Wii is a family oriented gaming console. It doesn't have the raw sheer power of a PS3 or 360, in fact many of the games found on the WII, could(And in some cases are) found on last generations PS2.The games though are mostly kid and family friendly, and of course it's home to all things Mario and Link! It's also the only place you can find Animal Crossing: City Folk, which is perhaps the funnest game exclusive on the console, hands down!One thing I want to point out, is that not only does this console play gamecube games, but you can also make purchases from Nintendos online store, and download classic games from classic systems, and play them right there on your Wii console. Classic games like Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy classics, Paper Mario and any number of other game classics.While most of the Wii exclusive titles don't impress me, access to classic games thrills me, and it's because of those playable classics, that I recommend this console to gamers.

I waited out for about 6 hours (to ensure I was the first in line so I could buy two, one for me and one to sell) and I must say; I would have waited 60. The Wii U revolutionizes not just video gaming but home entertainment. The system itself is very sleek and well built. The game pad is initially set up to control all aspects of your television from cable to movies (as long as you are smart enough to figure it out). I have already added mine to my home media network and after some tinkering, it appears the possibilities of this device will be endless. I was very surprised to see the quality of the graphics and audio in game as well. Anyone out there that says it is sub-par, or that 360 and PS3 are untouchable are insane. I myself own a PS3, Xbox 360, and a Wii and the Wii U is by far in a class of its own on graphics and audio quality. I was extremely taken back by this, as I figured it was going to be 'the same ol' Nintendo experience', but after I played CoD: Black Ops 2 I was stunned. Overall, I would recommend anyone to pick one up if you get the chance. They are only going to get better as the games increase and the system capabilities are tweaked and improved. It is a BRAND NEW console so it will have growing pains like the all do. (PS3 and 360 have been out for years) But I assure all, coming from a savvy pc enthusiast, it will endure and do things we haven't even imagined. Just give it time. Give the hackers and tweakers time to do there thing.

Very reasonable set of cables, that give a slight bump to brightness/sharpness in the Wii's picture. If you're looking for HD quality, you'll be disappointed, but I wouldn't go back to playing with the original video cables.

Backward compatible ftw. The wii is one of the easiest consoles out there to put custom firmware on. It will literally take you less than 5 minutes. Very nice to be backing up gamecube saves and playing import titles!

Works just as advertised and for much less than the official Nintendo wires. I've had them for a couple of months now and haven't had any problem with it. Some games do not use the full screen though.

When I received the products, I felt worry it can work because it came with a very simple package. Then I tried to connect my wii with HDTV, just followed the colors in the cable jack to the connector in the TV. I can install it very easy and my son enjoy his game with true colors of the game. I am very satisfied with this cable, cheap price and working properly.

I understand the WII doesn't really have HD, but my new tv had less SD hookups. I bought this so I could leave the WII plugged in and not have to switch it out when we want to use it. They worked great! Better price than original Nintendo ones and the work the same.

Decided to write a review on the Wii U because honestly it deserves one, a damn good one. I bought my console at Walmart instead of amazon due to the Wii U being a bit over priced online at the time. I must say, Wii U is a much needed breath of fresh air to the realm of console gaming. It seems that everything I used to play on my old consoles were wash, rinse, repeat. To say that the last generation of gaming is "stagnant" is quite an understatement. More like dead, buried, and decomposing. At first I was hesitant to buy the WII U, especially after reading how the system was supposedly underpowered. But I took a chance, and I am not the least disappointed. The sound is amazing, the picture is amazing, and the system is actually quite powerful. The people who are giving the bad reviews DO NOT HAVE ONE and lack a clue of how CPU/GPU's actually work. Claims that the processor is slower than old generation systems without mention to the architecture of the CPU is a prime example and quite the display of ignorant trolling fanboyism. The link provided clears that up. [...]For me, I just love games, BLACK OPS 2 is awesome on the WII U. Mario is AMAZING, and getting a chance to play all the great nintendo games for WII on my WII U is a nice addition. TVII is revolutionary and so is the gamepad itself. Don't wait to buy it.

These are not original Wii remotes. They obviously manufactured it. The sound quality isn't the greatest. The remote seems to work ok.

Why did wii have to stop I think Nintendo is making a HUGE mistake a lot of people still play wii and they arent even making it anymore i play games on their that I can get on any other device people are not going to buy a hole new console like the wii u just to be replaced by who knows what!

Love Love Love it, it works just like the original wii remote, no problems as yet and it was package very well. Came just in time because my original remote had stop working btw can anyone tell me how to fix it?

Does what it says it does. Have it running next to some power wires in the back and do not notice and video noise at all. Good quality at a cheap price.

I am a simple man. Wanted maximum quality video from our Wii, better than the standard Nintendo cable. This component cable does just that, now showing 480p on games and streaming. Nintendo should have shipped their products with this cable in box. Simple fix for a simple man. Well worth the money.
