While the XB360 and PS3 are new generation in name, they really only improve the visual quality of the games; the Wii radically alters the way games are played.
Wii Sports is a perfect training game for the new remote to let one see and feel how it works. Tennis is incredibly fun and boxing is as much of a workout as DDR or more. Zelda and Madden are great fun. You cannot play this game sitting down (except for maybe Zelda), so get a Wii and get ready to sweat!!!

[....]That being said, the nunchuck is a fantastic accessory and allows a whole new way to play games. Never thought I'd dig it but I've had a ton of fun playing Wii Sports and Zelda using the nunchuck. Well made and comfortable in my hand, it's now indispensable when I play on the Wii.If you can find one for retail price, be sure to get one. If not, wait until supply has caught up with demand.

Alright like me many of you were thinking xbox 360, Playstation 3,or the Nintendo Wii. Personally I could not spend 400,500,or 600 dollars so I went with the Wii. It was not only the price that sold me ,but it was also the motion controlled remote. The Wii's graphics aren't that good compared to the Playstation 3,or Xbox360,but the Wii was perfect for me. So if you want more fun then you do graphics the Wii is for you!

The Wii is awesome! I have never experienced a console this fun! Nintendo could have made the graphics a little bit better, but I think it's fine the way it is. MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you happen to see one in a shelf, I suggest that you buy it. This video game console is extremely fun, small, and far more inexpensive than other consoles out there. The graphics may not be great, but the gameplay sure is. The only thing that Nintendo should have improved is the load times, and they should have made the wii more "next-gen" type of console.
Pros: Fun factor, gameplay, price, small size.
Cons: Graphics, slow loading time.

Awesome, simply awesome. For all of you with doubts about the Nintendo Wii, please doubt no more. This system is absolutely fabulous. Don't listen to the skeptics, the gaming pundits, or the Sony and Microsoft fanboys. The Wii is amazing and will completely enhance your gaming experience. Be prepared for deeper immersion, a revolution in gameplay, and the end of the traditional controller. Viva Nintendo!

This game system has done something no other system has done before... Got my Uncle, Aunt, Mom, and Dad to Play. They always hated video games, but they love the Wii. This system is so user friendly almost anyone can play. And, it gets people off the chair and moving around.

The Wii is just a blast to play. From the little ones on up to the senior citizens in my family... everyone has a blast.

The system is fun, yes, but its looked down at with true gamers. Zelda is the only game keeping it afloat,and its good. But in terms of whats coming, not alot. For the price, its worth it, but the games, wait and see.
As for the straps, stop blaming Nintendo for your own problems. Its not the straps, its the gamers that play like a flailing retard.

i was doing the same as you all the whole nite. waking up here n there to refresh. luckily enuff i have a target and bestbuy in the neighborhood and got the Wii about an hour ago. they gave away target tickets first but i didnt make the cut, so then the bestbuy crew came out to give away the tix. phew. it was cold and my nephew better like this xmas gift this year! g luck to you all... try tomorrow at stores as they will be getting new shipments again!

WOW! I wasn't sure about what I was getting when I stood in line for a Nintendo Wii Saturday night, but I was pleasantly surprised when we opened it up at home. I've had Xbox 360 for nearly a year now, and the Wii is so much better! Wii Sports is, literally, the funnest game I've ever played! This is definitely the best game system out there, and would be my recommendation to anyone I meet! Don't hesitate when considering buying a Nintendo Wii!

So much fun for everyone in my family. We play Rayman and Elebits with the kids and after they are in bed we are hooked on Zelda. The sports game that comes with it is also a lot of fun!

I've been a gamer my whole life. Well I bought this thing with 2 extra controllers. I had some friends over playing wii sports. Before I knew it my family was in the room watching wanting to try. The whole night we played Wii Sports together. It was amazing to watch my family which never had in interest in gaming wanting to play. I recommend for gamers for a refeshing new way to play and I recommend for those who haven't even gamed before.

this is overall my favorite system because you actually get to peform the moves that effect gameplay (instead of sitting there pressing the A button), outstanding games (wii sports, Dragon Ball Z, ECT.) and fun gameplay. DEFINETLY BUY THIS!! IT IS WORTH IT (this is [...] dollars meanwhile the Ps3 is [...] dollars.)

Without trying to compete with Sony and Microsoft on processing power, this system is a ridiculous amount of fun, far more than it really should be, I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys console gaming.

After staying up all night long and hitting F5 on Amazon? At 7:30 a.m. a family member went down to the local ToysRus and got in what was a very small line. Around 8:00 someone came out and handed the first 30 people tickets. She was 25th in line. She is now waiting for the store to open to purchase it. This was for the Wii ONLY not a bundle deal. She chose the shortest of three lines, Best Buy, Target, Toysrus (smallest line)

This console is must have simply for Mario and Zelda. While Microsoft and Sony are pushing high definition video formats, Nintendo is pushing FUN and it shows.

You can not go wrong with the Wii. It's fun, it's entertaining and it promotes family time. There are games to suit anyone's gaming style. Nintendo has knocked the ball out of the park with this gaming system.

I just got a wii for christmas and it's really fun. The controlers work good and it's very inituive. If you are sceptical about how well the controlers work, don't be anymore! the wii is the best next-gen console out!
p.s. i am 13, but just used the kid reveiw because it was easier!

I got my Wii last night and I love it. My parents never let me have a nintendo when I was a kid, so I like video games but I'm not good at all the complicated button combinations for regular games. But the Wii was soooo much better! I actually beat my boyfriend at a game! I love it and I would recommend it to anyone I know, no matter how old or young. I can't wait to take it home over thanksgiving and see my parents play.

At 40 something, I never thought I'd give a hoot about video games. But, I got this for my kids for Xmas & I tries it out, at their begging, & I think it's a blast. Sol much more fun than sitting on the couch & pushing buttons!

This game is awesome! Titles available for both kids and adults, and for both single players and groups. Wii Sports really exhibits what the console and new controller technology can do. I would recommend this game to anyone.
