The minute I got this camera in the mail, I easily downloaded the software and began using it. I went on a trip and took amazing pictures without reading anything. In the interest of full disclosure, I have had three digital cameras before this one, one being a Nikon D200, but I still believe that the S3500 is super easy to use. It is so small, too, I just leave it in my purse, so I am ready to take pictures wherever, whenever. I love this camera. I would recommend this camera both to the amateur and the professional photographer who wants something small and easy to use.

Broke within the first hour:( my daughter was very excited to get this... Now just sad. I had to find something else to get her for birthday because the cheap camera thing is nerve racking.

I bought this camera for my daughter for her birthday. She is constantly taking pictures and loves posting pictures for friends and family online and always wants her pictures to be perfect. This camera takes absolutely amazing pictures! They are so clear and crisp, it seems as if you're looking at the real person or object, not just a photograph. I also love the fact that you can edit photos right on the camera itself. Also, the panoramic ability is a lot of fun and works perfectly. It is such an easy camera to use that she was able to take it out of the box, charge it up, and start taking pictures immediately without having to even read any instructions!! It's also a very small camera and easily fits into your pocket or purse so you always have it ready to go. I would highly recommend this product to photography enthusiasts of all ages!!

The Nikon Coolpix is easy to operate, and creates beautiful photographs. I bought this for my 15 y/o grand-daughter and she loves it.

The first time I put the camera to everyday use it failed. The lens cover only opens about a quarter of the way. Luckily I had a back up (my old Samsung). I am returning this puppy today!

It is exactly what I was looking for in a camera. A simple and easy to use camera that would be small and lightweight and still look nice. The camera takes good photos with just the auto option and the recording option is easy to use. That makes it great for people who are not as technology savvy or don't really want to spend too much time getting the right settings. It does, however, have some great options for changing the settings for people who do want to take the time to play around. I love the pet mode and the smile awareness options.

I got this and loved it but it won't take clear pictures and the screen looks pink. I have not sent it out yet to see if they will stand by their product but very disappointed that I have to.

is amazing. My husband has been reading and learning all the things it can do. He loves the many features it has. I love that I can "point and shoot" and not have to know - or care - about all the wonderful things it can do! We're both happy with theproduct - especially at the price! Good bargain.

You get what you pay for. I wanted a simple point and click camera with a great zoom & hoped to get a better quality picture than the ones I take with my cell phone. Unfortunatly, I think the picture quality is about the same as my cell. My biggest complaint is that it takes SO MUCH TIME to reset in-between pictures. We miss so many great shots of our kids. It is simple to use tho and may be perfect for someone who is looking to take more still pictures or pictures of nature. I just would not purchase it if your looking to take photos of children.

I should have followed the majority of the reviews on here and not wasted my money on this camera!!! I used to do professional photography. I knew I would never get the same speed and responsiveness out of a $100 point and shoot as I had from my DSLR but I had no idea just how slow a camera could be. I didn't like the quality if the preview on the LCD screen. I never could tell if the camera was focusing. Above all the speed was a huge issue for me. Had I not dropped it and completely broke it on the third day of use it would have been straight back to Amazon! The only reason it got 2 stars is because it was pretty cute and tiny and an awesome color!! It also had some cool shooting modes. Function wise though it was miserable.

I've had a lot of experience with digital cameras and it seems they advance faster than we can keep up. I was really happy to see that this camera was small and cheap but actually did deliver some pretty quality images. Granted, like most cheaper digital cameras it's grainy at the highest resolution, but it's a wonderful camera for the money. The zoom is ok except that the macro doesn't work as well as they'd have you believe with a 7x zoom. But, over all, it's a great camera and would be wonderful to take on vacation or for some more artistic shots and not worry too much about what happens if you drop it. (I once had a $2000 digital camera. And it turned out that it was great and all, but at the end of the day I didn't WANT to take it to vacation spots due to potential theft and damage so it mostly just sat around forever, never being used.)

davismax is nothing but a rip off!!!!!! bought a camera almost 2 weeks ago. have a problem with it and they send nothing but bullcrap!!! they stole my money as far as i can see!!! they do nothing but lie.

This camera is small enough to fit in your pocket. Straight out of the box, it is easy to charge and use. Generates high resolution photos. Great for travel. Very versatile.

I own an amazing Nikon camera for professional photography, I purchased this item because I wanted something light weight for vacation. I was shocked at how horrible this camera was. My flip phone from 2005 could take better pictures than this. It was absolute trash I returned it immediately. Disgrace for a Nikon product

For the money it's an excellent product. I also have the S3300 and it's great. Sure, to get the perfect image with great (enhanced) colors, cropping, white balance, etc., in order for display, etc. you will need to run images through a bit of editing software of course, ... but that's normal. Nikon is usually a bit on the "cool" side in color reproduction, so it's good to enhance an image a bit, but that's fun anyway. It's a handy little point and shoot camera and fits in most pockets of a pair of jeans or anywhere in the purse. Color combo of decorative pink is especially nice for a gal ... they love it.

I was looking for a compact camera to be able to easily carry with me that also took good quality photos. It is cute, compact, and does take great pictures! I can't wait to capture memories of my son with this camera!

I purchased the camera for travel.Departed 2days after receiving it. The camera did not work properly from the first try .There is a problem with the color and wavy lines on every shot. Still traveling and extremely disappointed to have no photos. Would not recommend refurb products from this particular company. Had the camera checked at a camera shop and repairs would cost more than the camera if even possible.

This camera is small and compact and very light weight. I bought it to take with me on a disney half marathon and I really shouldn't have wasted the space. In the dark it takes the most awful, dark, grainy pictures. They all came out blurry, grainy, and unusable. I didn't expect a miracle. It is after all tiny but unless there is TONS and TONS of daylight (like bright sunny day...not even overcast) you photos are not going to turn out very well. I wouldn't waste your money.

This delivery was very quick, and the package good size etc. Camera looks lovely but more importantly, takes high quality shots for a point and shoot! Definitely a steal at this price. So decent my husband actually prefers using this for his boudoir photography shoots.

I must have been one of the very few hold outs for getting a digital camera, but since it has become nearly impossible to find a film developing establishment, I decided now is the time to take that leap.Just got this little gem and have been getting acquainted with all its features. For it's size, it seems to do just about everything except wash windows. Very impressed. The set up was easy and for me a pretty low learning curve was involved to get the camera in working order...Do like how easy it is to set the exposure and also to be able to turn off the flash. Zoom and wide angle settings are excellent, and I really do like the ability to take Macro shots. So far my captures have sharp detail.The only draw back I can see at this point is someone with large hands (a big guy perhaps) might find the function buttons difficult to manipulate since they are on the small side. That aside, if you are a casual photographer and are in the market for a digital camera, this is one heck of a camera for the price.

Very happy with this little camera.. Love the size and ease of use. Takes the best indoor pics of any p&S I have owed (that has been quite a few).......... of course .. great outdoors as well.. This camera is the true definiation of a point and shoot..
