For the price, this camera was not worth it at all. I was excited by 4/5 average rating and got it over Thanksgiving weekend. I have to say it looks very cute and the color was wonderful, but that's where the positives end. I used it for two outings and 95% of my pictures were blurry. The only decent ones were where my subjects posed for at least 5 seconds...very unrealistic especially if you want candid shots. The camera itself is VERY SLOW at taking pictures, especially if you want to use flash, because it takes about 2-3 seconds to just charge the flash before it snaps the picture. After that, you have to wait another 2-3 seconds for the picture to save to your memory card. Most often than not, that picture turns out to be very blurry and disappointing.I was lured in by the 20.1 MP and 7x zoom, which SOUNDS GREAT.... but isn't worth much if the camera itself can't take any good pictures and is so slow. I've had a Canon point and shoot digital camera for around 4 years and it works MUCH better, and although the price for that one was 3x this one you'd think it would AT LEAST be able to take a few decent pictures. Sending it back!

Долго выбирал себе недорогой качественный фотоаппарат. Купил себе этот по советам от знакомых. Достоинства: 1) Неплохое соотношение цены/качества 2) Качество цветопередачи и баланс белого на фото почти не хромают 3)Даже на 3000 iso снимки получаются достойного качества, без сильного цифрового шума. Недостатки: 1) Иногда при контровом освещении пару секунд тупит автофокус. Покупкой остался доволен.

Like all cameras I use, many of the pictures blur unless I'm using a tripod. However, it seems less blur with this. Sports shots are 50-50. I'm not a professional photographer. I did adjust the picture quality down, as I did not need 8 MB files per pictures filling my hard drives. The pictures are still more than sufficient for printing and viewing on screen. Movies come up pretty well too, considering it's a camera. Lightweight, red. I'm satisfied for family shots and school sports. The flash is easy to disable at those games where there is "No flash photography." The parents with the giant $1K + cameras still take better pictures than I do with this. But, I paid 1/10 what they did, and this fits in my pocket.

I bought this camera to replace an older Nikon Coolpix that we had had for years with no problem and that our daughter was now using. At first, I was pleased with its light weight and sleek design. However, with use, these became problems. Not quite hefty enough to be something "solid" and the curving front didn't allow for a place for your finger to curl around and grab. But those are minor complaints. After only two weeks of moderate use, the record, delete and scene buttons suddenly no longer functioned; the zoom took forever to kick in; and the camera took a photo immediately when turned on (I have a lot of photos of feet) but then wouldn't take the picture I wanted a few seconds later even though I'd hit the shutter button several times. It always eventually worked but the "moment" had passed. As a result, my SD card was full of photos I couldn't delete; not fun when you're away from home, don't have access to a computer and have an SD card with limited room. I'm not sure if I just got a random lemon or if this is the way Nikon cameras are going; either way, disappointing and returned.

There are some Pros and Cons with this camera, and while generally I found it to be a pretty good camera for the price, as a camera it is just okay.Pros- Easy to operate- A good number of still image features for a budget camera- Good resolution for still images and some nice settings to play with- Compact and convenient to carry- Up to 32GB SD card- Video image stabilization is reasonable- 7x optical zoomCons- Panorama mode is basically worthless. I got better panoramas off my Samsung phone- Video quality is poor in anything but daylight, and does not record in full HD, and video options are very limited- On camera light for video tends to blind subjects- Proprietary USB port on the camera means you have to use the Nikon cable- Low light photographs are poor quality, even at higher ISO settings- No optical zoom on video modeConclusionFor a day out or vacation where you'll be doing mostly still shots, it's not a bad camera for the price. If you plan to do a lot of low light photography, panorama or video, you should look elsewhere.

Фото совершенно не яркие. Пробовали подряд все имеющиеся режимы, но на всех плохо.Очень долго сохраняет фото на карту памяти. Сохранение примерно секунд 10.

- + Очень компактный, есть возможность просмотра снимков без выдвижения объектива, толстенная инструкция, но очень мелкая, в комплекте аккумулятор, ремешок и ПО

When the battery is exhausted you need to make sure the little charging green light is lit. If you just plug in the charger when the exhausted screen is "on" the camera will NOT be charging. After charge, if the camera doesn't turn "on" then pop the battery out and put it back in, this will hard reset the camera. Very poor charging design.

Фотоаппарат не просто удобный и функциональный. В своём классе получается довольно выгодное соотношение (цена-качество). Пользуюсь данным фотоаппаратом уже почти год. Нареканий ни на качество снимков, ни на безотказность работы в течении всего срока службы не возникало. Снимки получаются хорошего качества. Да и снимки в тёмное время суток тоже выходят неплохого качества.

Прекрасный дизайн. Очень четкие фотографии. Только ооочень затормаживает при съемке в 20 мегапикселей. Хотели обменять на другой, но нам сказали, что это технически сложный товар и он не подлежит обмену. (((

First, how it arrived. it came by USPS, in the original box etc., inside a box way too big with no packing material, so the original box bounced around inside the larger box...not a great way to ship. Second, the camera does blur on low light, speed shots. Third, the book doesn't tell you the type of sdhc memory card to buy. I opted for a 32 Gb Sony mini sdhc with an adapter, it is class 10 (important) uhs-1 (ultra high speed- important) that has a write speed of 40 Mb/sec and read of 50 Mb/sec., believe me there are lots of cards out there that are lot slower and you could be waiting for recovery time to take the next picture or waiting forever to upload what you have taken (you'll get a little over 5K 20.1 M/p pictures with 32 Gb, and little more than 2 hrs HD video), so make sure you get a fast SDHC card!! Then you won't be blaming the speed on the camera!! I've take a couple pictues with the internal memory (only get about 4 with 25 Mb internal memory) so don't expect much, think of the internal memory as buffer. With the SDHC C10 UHS-1 card installed, the shooting was much better and way faster. The pictures so far are fairly decent, experimented with some of the setting with different results some good, some bad. Since I just got the camera a day and a half ago zI have a lot more playing to do with it and will continue with the review later.

Has amazing picture quality, very easy to use. Much better than the last coolpix I had! The rechargeable battery also holds a charge for a long time, I've yet to recharge it and I have used it for close to 100 photos over the last month. The video quality is pretty good too, wish it was 1080, but 720 is good enough! It's also pretty good with action shots as well, my 4 month old doesn't sit still, but I've managed to get a lot of awesome pictures of her!

- + Просто отличная модель
- - Единственный минус фото фиксирующийся при съёмке на экране не соответствует сохранившейся на карте ( на карте фото с задержкой где то на 0.3 сек. позже чем то которое было показано ) . Немного расстроило ( но за такую цену это мелочи !
Очень долго искал аппарат снимать ребёнка дома без вспышки , перебрал кучу вариантов...

Well, I don't know what to say. I like the camera, but I don't love it. Sometimes I get great photos, but, other times, the camera falls short. At one point in time I had a Kodak 10mp, which took better pictures. Sure, the image is 'larger', but the quality, not so much. I do plan on keeping the camera, because it is very useful. For the price, it is a pretty good deal.

Takes ok pictures in low lights conditions, and good pictures in regular light conditions. It has the close up feature that I was looking for, and lots of other features. Outside, during the day, it takes good pictures on auto, but for most other times you will need to play with the settings a little, that part is ok with we, I usually take a few test pictures before I take any that I care about. Overall a good camera for the price.

Disappointed in Georgia! Last week I purchased a Nikon COOLPIX S3500 to take on a Disney Cruise! The camera worked great for the 1st 4 days. I went to take a picture and all of a sudden it would not turn on, so I thought it must need to be charged. So I plugged the camera in and nothing happened. I then tried a new plug and still no luck. Bottom line a brand new camera purchased for the trip failed to last 4 days. I have called the store and they will be more than glad to exchange it. Needless to say I will never but another Nikon.

I recently bought this camera mostly for the increased resolution offered over the one that I had. The resolution is better but many other features are not as good as my previous camera (about 3-4 years old). The night/no-flash pictures are not nearly as good (too blurry), and the pause between pictures is too long. I might be able to play with the camera and change a setting to fix the latter, but I don't like that it's not intuitive to easily fix that (and that the default setting is such a long pause between pictures). Finally, when I rotate the camera and take a picture, the camera doesn't automatically rotate the picture for me when viewing and uploading. I got used to that simple feature on my old camera as well. Bottom line is that it's a decent camera, good resolution pictures (in flash and daylight), and it's well-priced. I'm not even picky about cameras but this one just didn't have enough of what I was looking for. I guess I should have done more research (although I thought I had).

Замер экспозиции 3D цветовой матричный - правильно подбирает параметры для фото в автоматическом режиме
Стабилизатор изображения (фотосъемка) оптический - тоже нормально работает, смазанных фото практически нет.
Зум порадовал, 7x оптический, 4x цифровой. На семикратном оптическом зуме можно фотать практически без потери качества фото. - - Недостатков...

This camera takes very good pictures, even when using the zoom. Only concern is there is a 3 or 4 second delay between taking shoots. Battery life is 2 days if you using it daily. Charges quickly. I purchase extra batteries so I would always have a charged battery on hand. This camera fits nicely into a pocket or purse.

Отзыв из Улан-Уде поражает. На самом деле, четкие и яркие снимки. Самый долгоиграющий аккумулятор. Вспышка, позволяет делать снимки в полной темноте в помещении, и без малейшего ущерба качеству. Кампактность, мне позволяет носить этот фотоаппарат, в нагрудном кармане рубашки. Это очень удобно. Поскольку, даже дорогущие смартфоны, уже не справляються в сумерках. И нужен уже фотоаппарат, и этот Никон просто идиален , из-за тонкого корпуса, красивейшего дизайна, очень удобного меню, и возможностей зума. Качество Видео, тоже хорошее. Уж, ни с какими там смартфонами, не сравнишь. Берите!!!
