This thing does a great job on carpets and hardwood. You have to make sure all cables etc are clear and move chairs to give full access or it might get stuck. I got one before Xmas for my daughter and that shipped from within Canada and came within 2 days. It was so good I bough another for myself and that took a few days longer and shipped from the states. They are both the same model but the first one came with spare filters and the second one did not. I ordered spare filters that are perfect replacements for the one that came with it

Very poor quality, Started to jump after a month of using. Sent it back and received even worsen robot back. Now sent it back again. Barely used since it takes 2 month to communicate and receive a new robot after you sent yours.

I really like this robot, it can climb over small carpets, barely ever gets stuck anywhere, have a very big bin if you use it every day, but I often have problems with the robot when I start by my Iphone. It starts, then returns to the base immediately for no reason. The only way to use the no-go lines with the robot is if you start the robot by the app. There aren`t much information online to fix that. So I have to often make a new map, thats a pain in the ass. Anyways, if the app worked better I would totally give 10/10

My floor has never been cleaner. It gets stuck on my heavy shag rugs but the no go line solve that problem. The side brush is quite useless on carpet but do help with hardwood and tile flooring. Take the time to understand what it can do and cannot do at the beginning and it will just keep doing what it does best, running around to keep your floors clean. You will have to baby it for the first couple of cleaning to understand what and where it gets stuck though. This is my first robot vacuum and it is much better than I expected.

After much research into robot vacuums I decided on the Neato for two reasons: the D shape gets into corners better and I don’t think I could handle the random nature of the other vacuum patterns. The Neato is awesome and I don’t know how I ever lived without it. Cleans well, easy to use app, great support from Neato, overall extremely happy. So happy in fact that I bought a second one for the cottage!

The product does an 'okay' job of removing superficial dust, dirt and animal hair off hardwood floors. When it comes to carpets, it's highly ineffective, as the robot simply does not have the suction power.
Beware, if you leave a charging cable of any variety on the floor accidentally, the robot will absolutely demolish your cable, this goes for thin appliance cables if they are anyway exposed to the neato robot.
The robot is a lot higher maintenance than expected, constantly forgetting it's navigation programming it learned, getting jammed up with animal hair in the main brush, and overall getting stuck in bizarre locations. I also receive constant 'I need to shut down messages' from the robots after they have docked.
I don't know maybe I expected more for a D5 and a D7 and was hoping it would automate more of my life, instead, I am buying spare parts as it thrashes cleaning brushes, unintentionally destroys cables, shoe laces left dangling, mouse & keyboard cables, and even plants if they are partially exposed to the floor. Be sure you have absolutely nothing on the floor or the robot will wreck itself, this includes tiny toys, pieces of paper, etc.
It's a neat concept, I'm still on the fence for the value.

Suddenly died one day. Lasted only 20 months with just 1 use every 2 weeks. Way Too much of money for product that died within 2 years. Customer service told unfortunately the warranty is 1 year and I have to pay for any repairs. I Do not recommend. Should have gone for Roomba or any other reliable or durable product for the same money.

Works as advertised except for docking to recharge. The dock connector is really finicky and doesnt always line up. I would have rated this product higher except for the docking issues that i have encountered.
Besides that, it does a good job cleaning and seems to optimize its route each time it cleans.

La D7 est fantastique ! Elle est aussi efficace que ce que à quoi je m'attendais. Elle fait le travail sur toutes les surfaces à l'exception des tapis à poil de long bien évidemment. Seul point négatif, nous la trouvons assez bruyante, c'est la raison que je lui ai mis un 4, mais ce serait plus un 4 1/2.

used every two days, great cleaning, easly maintained. however, stop working after 2 months. Better have listen to the wife and hired a maid. usage régulier domestiques aux 2 jours, excellent fonctionnent. facile a nettoyer. à cesser de fonctionner après 2 mois. J'aurais du écouter ma femme et engager une femme de ménage.

This robot sucks, in both ways. After one year this expensive piece of plastic failed and wont connect to wifi, or even charge. Replaced battery, wasn't the problem. Luckily bought the extended warranty so got a portion of my money back. It appears this company isnt even curious in trying to figure out why their robots fail so many people.

Other than the occasional glitch with the app (doesn't always send me a notification that the vacuum has finished it's cycle), we live our robot vacuum. It does a great job, it's very intelligent in its analysis of room dimensions and vacuum execution, and is able to climb quite large transitions. Would buy again!

It's been a ;earning experience for both the Bot and myself . The bot has been mapping and becoming more efficient . I have been learning where to put GO - NO GO lines to keep him out of areas he may get stuck . Over all pleased with the cleaning job it does .

The neato hardly ever works with our wifi. It’s now at the point that the only way to actually to get it to run is to press the button manually on the neato.

Very good little vacuum, find it to be noisy though. Takes 2 hours to clean our main floor as well, which I was surprised about- especially with the noise. Finds its docking station, picks up a lot more fine dirt than I thought. So overall a good purchase.

Love the app showing what it cleaned, how much and how long it took. Floor plan creation is genius. Good suction, D shape is perfect. Easy to clean. Don’t use with extra thin carpets and avoid large transitions in flooring.

Love it! I have previously had the economic versions of robot vacuums but I now see the massive difference in the more expensive versions. It has no problem with the rug and floor transitions which my previous ones did. Also arrived faster than expected.

This vacuum really delivers. Just prep the area (remove cords or/or use magnetic border marker) activate the bot, sit back and relax. The app will tell you when done.

It was a little problematic at first, then we did all the software updates (now running 4.4.0) and it runs like a charm! The "no-go lines" feature is amazing. Easily cleans 600Sq Ft in a single charge.

Product didn’t connect to our network. Hours spent on trying to accomplish this through tech support web help sites etc. Never could get it to connect to network. Boxed it up and sent it back.
