I ordered the D5 connected after watching probably 50 online video reviews and reading a lot of website information on the latest robot vacuum tech available. I opted for the Neato line because of the advanced room mapping and methodical cleaning that is promised. I wanted the D5 because it offers the best cleaning power and filtration for pet hair and allergens without going for the top of the line unit. So far, good choice.

I want to give a quick summary of my situation.
I have two large dogs. 1 Great Dane and 1 Pointer mix. The both shed quite a bit and it has been a hassle to say the least to keep up with vacuuming the dog hair. I could literally vacuum in the morning and it would need another go over later in the afternoon. I have a Dyson D17-Animal Upright so getting the hair up is not a problem... it's having to lug out the upright constantly that's an issue. After a recent couple of large gatherings at our house, I told my wife I plan to purchase the robo-vac to help keep up with the dog hair.

So, the unit arrived (3 days earlier than the estimated delivery... Woo-Hoo!!) I un-boxed it and quickly got it setup on our wifi Network (downloading the app on the phone this only takes a few minutes to be up and running). I immediately noticed that the bot had about 76% charge already but I let it top off for about 1/2 hour before I ran it the first time. Now... I have to say, I had vacuumed in the main area of my house... lightly... with my Dyson earlier in the evening as I had some people over to watch a movie.

After it had charged about 30 minutes, I decided to let it go on a test run to see how it worked. Well, as I have said, I watched a lot of video reviews and comparisons of these units so I was basically aware of what to expect... but... you just can't appreciate how intelligent this thing seems to be until you actually watch it in action. I'm a computer programmer and I have done board level development and some robotic programming... even in industrial... so I can appreciate the nuances that go into an AI algorithm. This is very impressive. I have a very odd shaped living area to begin with, but it is really cluttered with a lot of furniture, dog bowls, tv table stand... etc... We didn't really do a lot of setting up our house for the bot before running it the first time. I just wanted to see how it would handle things as they were. Well, it quickly scanned our family room and then began edge cleaning and working in sections cleaning one area at a time until it cleaned: Family Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Living Room, Main Bathroom and a small hallway. It was really interesting to watch some of the subtleties of how it covered the floor (it would literally skip a small spot which at first a thought was an issue... but it would return to that one spot later and clean it after completing some other task. It knew it missed it... but had to come back to it).

When the cleaning was done and it returned to the docking station to charge, I removed the bin to see what it manged to pick up. I was absolutely shocked... the bin was stuffed completely full of dog hair, dust, dirt and other debris. I couldn't believe my eyes. Where the heck did it find all this as I had just done a light vacuuming earlier (see pics). I started walking the area checking to see if it had missed anything major and was again stunned to see how well it cleaned. I should also mention, we have hard floors throughout (tile in the main living area and laminate in the master bedroom) so I didn't test it on carpet. Other than a couple of spots where it wasn't able to get to the dirt because we hadn't moved the furniture to optimize it's cleaning... it didn't miss anything. I also want to mention, it cleaned 570 square feet in about 56 minutes. When it started the cleaning, it was at about 85% charge. When it finished, it was at 52% charge. The battery life is very impressive.

My son took it into his room the next day and did a 1 room cleaning. He was shocked how much dirt and hair it picked up from his room. I guess we don't realize how dirty our floors get until we see it.

Couple of things to note about the setup and unboxing:
1 - The wifi setup is a little confusing as the app automatically connects to the robot then asks for YOUR wifi. Initially, I was confused and thought it was asking my to find the robot to connect to but couldn't (the online videos show it doing that way). They must have changed this in a firmware update.
2 - All of the online information says you must use the included USBTG (usb tether) included with the unit to upgrade the firmware. This was not the case. Apparently, the latest release of firmware is now OTA (over the air) capable so the robot upgraded right over the app / wifi. Nice.
3 - This unit does not include any spare filters or brushes (side brush). They are on replacement reminders in the app, so you'll likely want to order some replacements before too long.

I currently have this unit scheduled to clean my main living area every day except Sunday at around 2:30 PM. We will have to see how it holds up from a maintenance standpoint and I will likely update my review with more information in a couple of months with any maintenance tips / concerns. I also should mention, I was an early adopter in Robot Vacuum technology. My first unit was one of the early Roomba vacs about 9 years ago. At that time, it was more of a gimmicky... nice to have techie thing that wasn't really practical. With the new technology and efficiency of what's available today... these are viable appliances in your house. Won't replace the manual vacuum. But I won't be needing to pull it out more than once a week and probably less than that.

12/14/17 Update - This robot has been cleaning my main part of the house at least 5 times a week since I got it. Other than a few minor glitches (getting stuck a few times) it has kept our house so much cleaner than it used to be... with the two big dogs. But... the main reason I wanted to post this update. I just received a notification today... the D3 and D5 (which I have) just got a firmware update... they now support the area cleaned map like the Botvac Connected (shows an actual map of the area that was cleaned that the robot detected after the job is done). It doesn't show a live update like the Xiaomi does, but this is an awesome update!! :) very cool. This way, I can see if the robot was seeing anything weird when it cleaned. Image of the first cleaning map is included (see my pics below).
12/23/2018 Update - After less than 1 year, sadly my Botvac D5 started acting oddly and would navigate erratically and report bizarre cleaning maps. It would get lost in the middle of the room and run out of battery without returning to recharge. I contacted support and after about 2 months of back and forth sending the unit in for repair, Neato determined the unit should be replaced and they sent me a new Botvac D6 upgrade. So, in general, I'm still happy with Neato because, although the process was a little frustrating at times, they did support the unit while under warranty (warranty had almost expired). I wasn't thrilled with the repair depot that they instructed me to send the unit to. It's in Texas / US and I looked the location up and it's a 3rd party repair center. They were not very helpful as they didn't package my unit very well when returning it and they never sent me anything regarding what was diagnosed or repaired with the unit. I did inform Neato of this in case they wanted to keep track of how their contracted repair centers are performing. So far, very happy with the D6.

I promised Neato customer service I would leave a review because they couldn’t care to help me with a robot they had replaced five months earlier. They snarkily told me the warranty on replacements was only three months, even though their warranty is one year on new robots. I told them I had gone through seven Neatos in seven years and I would not be buying another one since they’re clearly unreliable and their service staff have a nasty attitude. Switched to the robot that starts with an “R” and bought their top of the line model and I could not be happier. Have had very minor (compared to Neato) issues but their service staff do a great job. Kudos to them and shame on Neato.

Pros: I really like the D5 for its battery life as well as its cleaning pattern and mapping ability. Its capability to resume where it left off if it is unable to do the whole cleaning in one charge.
Cons: The side cleaning brush. It is so small it is USELESS when edge cleaning. The BOT never gets close enough to the wall or baseboards for it to even be effective. A longer bristle would have easily solved this problem.
Although I really like my D5. I also have a D3. The D3 is $200 dollars less, doesnt have a side brush (which doesnt work anyway), and does all the things that my D5 can do. It has a weaker battery than the D5. It just means it will recharge more often than the D5. 1800 sq.ft. vs 4500 sq.ft. of cleaning on a charge, but with the resume mapping its a better choice for smaller places.
Recommendation: Save $200 bucks and buy the D3. Great bot with lots of features for the price.

First, I should disclose that I’ve only had the D5 connect for one day. However, just based on the first vacuum it’s definitely five stars. My place is only 1400 ft.², but I have a golden retriever. That basically means that vacuuming at least four times a week is a must. The last time I had vacuumed , Prior to using the D5 for the first time was just three days ago. Look at the hair and other things that it got up on its first run! The ability to have this thing run once a day will keep my place smelling much cleaner.

UPDATE: Since my first review was after only one day of ownership I wanted to update now that I've been using it going on 5 months. It is still AWESOME and a lifesaver.....and I run it every single day due to my boy Rudy (my Golden Retriever). In fact, I bought a second one for my vacation home in the Rockies. I noticed some negative reviews about network issues and I will say that the first few weeks it would occasionally fall offline. However, since the last software update that has been entirely resolved. These are not cheap but if it lasts just two years I will feel like I got every bit of value out of my investment. Anything beyond that will be icing.

Update Two: First disappointment. The top of dirt bin won't stay down and on further inspection one of the 3 plastic tongues broke off.....just a few months out of warranty. Just had to drop $85 on a new one, which seemed pricey.

We have had this vacuum for 7 months now. I was very happy at first. The robot does a great job of cleaning the whole house and navigating its way around. Unfortunately at about 5 months, the space behind the brush leading up to the collection bin started to get clogged. Despite taking the vacuum apart and cleaning it, the problem would come back every week or so. I reached out to their customer service and that’s when the fun started. It took over a month of calls every other day to get them to acknowledge there was a problem and agree to replace the unit. You get bounced from person to person with no follow up. I think their philosophy is eventually you’ll get tired and give up. Even once we got to the point of agreement on a replacement it took another month and calls every other day to actually get a replacement shipped to me. The worst part is that less than a month with the new one, the same issue is recurring. It’s a design flaw. The hole from the brush to the collection bin is too small and get clogged. You have to take the vacuum apart to clean it. If you don’t have a star wrench, you won’t even be able to do that. Such a pain. We are going back to roomba. This thing is a piece of junk!

I love this vacuum. I've had it for over 9 months now, I didn't want to write a review right away because I wanted to give it a real test and after this amount of time, I can give a real review.

A little background on my house, I have all hardwood on my first floor with 2 area rugs - one of which is a thick pile and one is a medium pile. My second floor is all wall to wall carpeting except for vinyl in the bathrooms and laundry room. I have 2 cats and a dog, they all shed. I also have 2 boys, who just turned 6 and almost 4. There are a lot of crumbs. I run the vacuum upstairs during the day, while we're downstairs and downstairs at night when we're in bed. I pick up the cats' water bowl and I also pick up and shake out bath mats, etc. A tiny bit of prep work so this guy can do his job. Totally worth it. The bin is full every time it runs with dust, dog hair, Legos, coins. It picks it all up. I will include a picture of our thicker pile rug, as well as a Lego man that was picked up.

It does require some maintenance, as with anything. Every Saturday, I take 5-10 minutes and vacuum the inside, the dirt bin, I take the roller brush out, and vacuum all throughout there. I change the filter once a month. You may be able to do it less often if you don't have as many pets, etc. I bought the cheaper ones on Amazon, I think I-clean is the brand. I very occasionally will also take some canned air and spray around the circle on the top where the "eyes" are. I will do that if it seems to be getting confused, getting stuck in weird places or saying it's finished when it's not. Once I spray and clean the eyes, it's back to new. I've only had to do this twice in the 9 months.

I used to have tumbleweeds of animal hair along all edges of my floors, not anymore. I used to have a cleaning service and was able to get rid of them, and I always say it's because of this vacuum! It goes completely under one of my kid's beds, not the other (because it's too low) but that's ok.

You also need to understand how this thing works, it cleans in sections, so it will do the border of a roughly 15x15 foot section and then go back and forth in beautiful lines in that area and then it will move on to the next area. It will keep doing this until the whole floor is cleaned. My OCD is calmed with straight lines. I would not be able to handle a random pattern. It works in the dark. It works on black flooring. It can get itself unstuck most of the time. When it's climbing onto my higher pile carpet, it will attempt to climb on straight and then it will back up and approach it at an angle. Amazing to watch. It doesn't go under my chairs because when it does, it normally gets stuck. But when I want a really thorough clean, I just pick up the chairs and stools.

The app sucks after the latest update, but the vacuum works very well. I can start and stop it with the app and love the cleaning map (that wasn't available on this model when I first got the vacuum, but they updated the app to include it and I love that). But I always put my phone on airplane mode at night, and it used to just tell me in the morning that it was done cleaning, but now (after this latest update) it doesn't tell me unless my phone is connected at the time that it finished. It's really no big deal as it's still cleaning whether my phone is connected to it or not. And that's more important to me!

Overall, I don't think I could live without this vacuum (maybe that's an extreme statement, but maybe not), because my house is finally clean, all the time. The animal hair doesn't get a chance to build up. Very satisfied customer! And yes, I paid full price. I'm not lucky enough to get things for free. If this broke tomorrow, I would with certainty buy it again! But I hope it doesn't!!

Update: 4-6-2019: I've had this almost 2 years now, and still love it. Now that neato has updated the software, I never get errors that it's not connected. I also don't have to pick up the cats' water bowl because I can create the virtual no go lines. I have to give it to neato, when they update, they give the older vacuums all the newer features. How many companies do that? The app works great now, and I love that I can create the floor plan and draw a no go line. Still really happy with this vacuum!

 UPDATE: A new application update has released allowing me to use it. I was given an RMA on 3/13, so I have sent the robot back. They estimate 1-2 weeks after receipt I will get a replacement sent to me.

UPDATE 2: Just got the replacement unit. The shipping was actually fast.

Update 3: The brush gear is stuck on my unit and unable to clean. There isn't a way to clean the gear or belt drive like on older units, as it is sealed. I'm assuming Neato will have me send it back again. I've had a ticket open with Neato for weeks now, they were responding initially, but I've been unable to get a response for over 2 weeks.

Update 4: After over a month of contacting customer service initially I was able to get in touch with them after escalating to their Facebook account. My new replacement robot has arrived today.

Update 5: Fall of 2019 the unit began to have issues traversing the house. Thesholds, rugs and carpets became his nemesis. The wheels will spin as though he is bottomed out or struggling for traction. I'm not sure if the tires have worn down, causing his ride height to lower or if there is some additional drag on the drive motors. I've sent a message to Neato December of 2019, as cleaning the tires didn't help.

Original Review:

I'm a long time Neato customer. First with the XV, then a Botvac D80.

Initially I was a little wary of something that is internet connected and uses wireless. The internet of things is a double edged sword. After reading reviews however it seemed like a great improvement due to the lithium ion battery.

So first off, the android phone application will not launch on my Nexus 6, but it works fine with my wife's Pixel. Neato has said that due to my Android 8.1 beta it is crashing. There is no fix other than for me to downgrade the OS on my phone. That's fine I can still program it using my tablet or my wife's phone.

The first 3 weeks were great, it is quieter than older models and seems to clean better. The way it maps a room is very efficient. Also the map it creates is visible, so you can see where it covered and what it sees.

About 4 weeks after purchase the unit stopped cleaning. It will pull forward from the base, spin up the motor, beep and stop. It repeats this a few times, then requests to be rebooted. After reboot the same happens. This is despite the room it is started in or time of day.

I opened a ticket, but it took a few days for them to respond and only after I sent a 2nd email. They have been eerily silent after I went through the steps they requested of me and the behavior did not change. No response in 5 days and I've sent follow-up emails each 48 hour period.

The robot is great when it works, but this buggy application and slow support process has me questioning the entire purchase.

This little guy replaced my Neato Botvac Connected. Feature or feature, it's very similar, though this one is a bit cheaper and lacks the screen that the Botvac Connected had. But that's not even needed, because you can control this robot vacuum from your phone.

Overall, if you're new to robot vacuums, I prefer Neato over Roomba because it follows a specific course as it maps out your space, versus just aimlessly spinning around and bouncing everywhere like a Neato. (Dyson's also follows a more methodical map, but theirs is way expensive).

With my original Botvac, it would slam into things and rub up against my baseboards, leaving black marks and rubbed depressions into the wood. One of the features I liked about this over my Botvac Connected was the ability for it to have a "delicate" mode, where it detects it's getting close to a barrier and tries to avoid it, versus just slamming into it.

What I Like
- delicate mode
- fast, and easy to manage through my iPhone

What I Don't Like
- sometimes it does get stuck in random places (but this is usually fixed by clearing out its sensors)
- the dust bin needs to be emptied regularly, and it can be a little messy

Overall, across all the other robotic vacuums, Neato is my favorite at the moment. The D3 model is a cheaper version of this, but doesn't feature the side spinning brush (which is actually helpful). The D7 adds some extra features and a slightly different brush, and the ability to have virtual boundaries, but it's more expensive as well. For most people, the D5 is the sweet spot and a good vacuum for your needs.

I bought this to replace an older model on the Neato robotic vac..good thing I kept the old one. Don't be fooled by the "improvements" like phone app and side brush. This vac got "stuck" repeatedly while in the open and kept dying 1ft from the charger. I never experienced this with the older model. The app is easy to use but really only functions as a way to scheduled your vac easier. You can't help him if he is stuck or even virtually wall off areas...great to get notices like "I am stuck" when you are not home and can not do anything about it. My older model goes over short shag carpet but this one will not, replaced that rug but still can't put up with everything else it can't seem to manage. Sending it back.

This is a difficult review to write, since I like the company and the product concept.

Summary: If you don’t care about the functionality of the mobile app integration, then the botvac is good, though a bit expensive if you can’t use the app. If you do care about using the app functionality, I ran into troubles, and others seem to have also — see neato iPhone app reviews as evidence. I decided to return it. I’ll revisit getting one in a year if the issues under “Cons” are cleared up.

Pros:
1) The botvac is pretty intelligent in figuring out best way to clean. Much better than my parent’s rumba was a few years ago.
2) You can pretty much leave it alone and it does the job until you are ready to pick it up, or have it find its way back to base.
3). Suction is good, filter is great, cleaning it is easy.

Cons:
1) The software app for the iPhone seems defective. It worked for 1 week then it stopped connecting to the botvac. I spoke with customer service and they tried to help but couldn’t solve the issue. We tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3 times — it would keep the connection for a short time, but then drop it. It’s an app problem not a wifi problem. Check the neato iPhone app reviews and you will see this is not an isolated issue.
2) The customer support team tried their best to help. However it was clear that they needed better education on the software app. They did not know exactly what should be showing up at each stage of the reinstall and setup. I had to walk them through it. That said, they were extremely concerned about this and wanted to help.
3) The unit is not flat on top. The silver circle where it says “neato” on top is elevated a bit … just enough that it cannot get under my couch, my bed, or my coffee table. It requires me to put a book under 2 legs of each piece of furniture; then it works fine. But that undermines a little the reason for getting a botvac … to minimize the human intervention needed to vacuum.

Net:
1) The botvac itself is good — clearly 4-5 stars if it came without the app and was priced less because of that. It is pretty smart. It has strong suction. It’s filter is very effective. It pretty effectively navigates throughout my condo.
2) Where it falls down is on the software app which is actually an important aspect of this product.
3) If you don’t care about the app functionality, and you are file with lifting up some of your furniture so it’s hump can get under the furniture (or you have furniture with high clearance), then this is a very good vacuum. It’s also a company that stands by its product.
4) I’ll be checking back in a year to see if these issues have been resolved. If so, I’d consider buying it again and boosting the rating.

Purchased about a year and a half ago. After several months the vacuum stopped working. It would start up its motor 3 times, then quit and throw an error on the app asking to be rebooted. Rebooting, of course, does nothing. This issue is very common (go ahead, Google it). I RMA'd the unit as it was under warranty and received a replacement. Now, several months later the replacement vacuum has stopped working with the EXACT SAME ISSUE. Of course the vacuum is now out of warranty. 2 vacuums in a row with the same problem? That is what you call a chronic defect that Neato, apparently, hasn't bothered to address. I cannot recommend this product from Neato. Stay far away.

will not connect to my network. will not even see it. call to costumer service says that a wep network will not work. After much time and effort converting every piece of my equipment to wpa2 / aes just to suit the robot, it will still not see my network. no way to see what errors are happening. had to "jack up" my couches(3) so robot wont get stuck. this is in my completely tiled living room area alone. can not get robot to complete 1 pass of room without getting stuck. Can't use it with the app and can't use it without. Of course my return period ran out 2 days ago. Don't even want to contemplate how I would have to rearrange the other 3/4 of my home to make it "work" with the robot. could do the vacuuming myself in less than 1/8 the time with my floor vac. Anybody want to buy a lightly used botvac d5 connected?

Like some of the other reviewers, I've got a pet, a toddler and another kid on the way. I was looking for a simple solution for easy general cleaning and picked up the Neato D5. The unit I bought was already partially charged and setup was incredibly simple. I was cleaning in less than 5 mins. So far I've run it for about a hour and the Neato easily fits under larger furniture, gently working its way around corners and objects. Even with a tree skit around our Christmas tree, it smoothly worked its way around the base and got itself out of a tricky corner. Once complete, one click of the return to base button in the app and it quietly back to charge. I've been skeptical of all of the robot vacuums, but am very pleasantly surprised!

Update: Downgrading this to 2 stars because it constantly loses connection to wifi which is one of the main reasons I paid extra for this thing. I checked the website and it's currently on the latest bios. After a search online this is a common problem for other people as well. It's a pain in the ass to reconnect it constantly because you have to literally reset the entire vacuum each time. Luckily you can just hit the button and it still works, just can no longer control it from your phone.

This is a good vacuum for upkeep on your house (with hardwood floors) after I learned what is can and can't do.

Great at maintaining clean
Dog hair
navigate your house

Can't:
Deal with cords
Deal with stringy bits
dryer sheets
light rugs
do stairs

If you can do an initial clean and get all the big debris and secure cords this thing is awesome. Just set a schedule and let it do it's thing daily. I have 3 dogs that shed constantly and this has keep doggy tumbleweeds from forming.

I am a longtime Neato Owner. My original Neato, the XV has been serving me well for about 9 years. However, it was time for a new battery and my XV was getting cranky. The dust bin alert kept going off and it was having a hard time finding it's base. I finally upgraded to the D5 Botvac, it was actually in competition with the new Dyson Robotic Vac, which turned out to be a dud with a capital “D”. When I received my D5, I opened the box to discover a shiny, sleek, ultra modern looking botvac. Setup was pretty easy and after a good charge, I sent it out into my world (living room), which I share with a husband who won't take off his shoes off in the house and two dogs who are consistently in a shedding competition. Starting out, this Neato was much quieter than the XV but that's where things took a turn for the worse. It did not seem to track back and forth in straight lines like my XV, and it was ramming into everything, just like a Roomba. It also got stuck frequently, in spite of the boundary markers I had formerly placed for the XV and after several runs, it still could not find its base. It also, was only cleaning the living room and never docked, charged and resumed cleaning. After about four runs, it lost its internet connection and no matter what I did, it would not reconnect. I ended up calling Customer Service twice and sending an email, pleading for help. I was honestly ready to send the D5 packing. CRAIG, from Neato, from Ireland with a thick accent, helped me get the D5 running....for 2 days...and it quit! Barra from Neato in Ireland was much easier to understand. He patiently walked me thru a series of steps. Helped me update the system software and essentially gave me a down & dirty (AKA Quick) Tutorial on the care and feeding of this new, intelligent Bot, that was yesterday morning. Since that time, I have been able to send my Neato out on 3 separate strafing/vacuuming missions. The latest software update has increased my Neato's coverage from an average of 500 sq ft to 1499 sq feet. It is now cleaning, charging and cleaning and runs an average of almost 3 ours. It also provides a map of the area cleaned, how cool is that? That map will show the last position of Neato at the end of cleaning, and so if it gets lost I can find it easily, however, since the update, it hasn't gotten lost or stuck. It is also now set for Gentle Navigation, it hasn't crashed into anything since. Now, I've only have one 24 her period to judge Neato's performance, but I have to admit, things look promising. Oh did I mention, Neato's suction and cleaning performance? It is amazing! Evertine I check at the end of a cycle, the much larger dirt bin is full. Wowser! Finally, I'd like to give 5 thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍 to Neato's Customer Service team. They are from Ireland and some have thicker accents than others, but they know there products and they really care for the customer. They want you to have a successful experience. So far, after about 2 hours collectively on the phone, I have. Let's hope this is a home run! Attached is an image of the cleaning map of my house after a 2 Hour 5e minute run.

Why has no one taken me by the shoulders looked me square in the eye and said "YOU GOTTA GET A ROBOT VACUUM!" I own 2 Dyson's but there is a problem and it's that I have to run them. I heard how life changing this robot is and it is! I'm a busy mom of 2 kids, a shedding chihuahua, a full time job and no housekeeper. Why did I wait so long? I did want the one that had more fancy features like cleaning map and notices if it get stuck. Love it. I "vacuum" every single day. I have an old historic home with hardwood floors with rugs. The thresholds are high, some up to 2-2 1/2". This robot has large 4 wheel drive wheels and although struggles to get over the threshold, she is a determined bot. I have scheduled her to vacuum every morning at 10am. If she gets stuck I get a text message, when she's finished I get a message. If she gets stuck while I'm out she will beep so I can find her in the house when I get back home. To vacuum the upstairs I just take it and plug in the base and off she goes at 10am the next morning. It's awesome. Life changing. It's worth every single penny.

After receiving the wrong model Botvac they shipped out the correct model pretty quick. I have been using it every day for about 6 weeks now and we love it. With a dog that seems to shed constantly and 3 women with long thick hair that gets everywhere my wife had to vacuum almost daily to keep up with all the hair. Our interior floors are hardwood and tile with a couple of smaller rugs, the 3 season porch has a low pile rug. The Botvac handles it all no problem. I set it up to run every day when foot traffic is low. it runs at the scheduled time even if it's not connected to the app. For whatever reason it disconnects from the app every 2 weeks or so but like I said it's not a big deal because it still runs.
It does get stuck if I don't I don't take 2 minutes to put the strips down and move some wires out of the way.
The vacuum picks up everything. I was surprised how strong the vacuum is. It really gets the smallest grain of dirt up to smaller sticks ( the dog dragged a branch into the house and chewed on it which left little pieces of wood everywhere).
One thing that surprised me was that you don't need the magnetic strip to block stairs, it recognizes the floor ends and turns around.
A couple of things I don't like,
The magnetic strips tend to move when the vacuum runs into it unless you have both ends braced against furniture or a doorway or something.
I don't like the filters which have a plastic screen covering the filter (which looks like thick paper) and traps really fine dirt inside the filter and you can't clean it out which is why you have to pay for new filters every month. My filter lasted about 3 weeks.
The Bot does not get all the way to the wall or in corners it can't get closer than a 1/2 inch or so, despite its efforts.
Even though you don't need the vacuum connected to the app after you configure the schedule I still find it annoying that I have to remove the bot from the app and add it again which usually takes about 10 mins to get it to connect and its the only way to find out what the messages from the bot are when it stops and starts beeping. Also, the bot can get stuck in some hidden spaces like behind a couch or under a bed and I don't actually follow it anymore so it can take some time to track it down. I would like to see the app have a location alert to help you find the bot once it gets stuck, but the botvac would need to be connected to the app for that. The app really feels like an afterthought
Overall I am happy I purchased the unit as It has cut down the daily manual cleanings to just once a week. Everyone in the house did like it at first but the novelty of it has expired and everyone but the wife thinks its a pain. If I were to purchase a new unit I would get a Samsung due to the better edge cleaning that it has.

The thing died on me a month or two after I got it. I contacted Neato customer service and they were fairly helpful. They initially wanted me to go through a whole bunch of cleaning and reset steps which was fine and then they replaced the unit which was nice....for a while.

A couple months before the thing was out of warranty I stated having the same problem. It won't start, says reboot me. Having been through it before I did all the cleaning and reset stuff and then contacted Neato again and told them the problem and all the steps I did. They responded with a list of the same steps I told them. Not particularly helpful. They then said they would repair it since it was under warranty still. I sent it to them for repairs. They sent it back rather quickly, no word on what they did just it's fixed. Since I have gotten it back it has had all kinds of problems. Initially it would run, but about half the time it won't find it's base to return to, or will just stop in the middle of cleaning and say it has a problem when it's not stuck. it's not out of battery, it's not full. Sometimes it cleans half the room it starts in and then says it's done. I contacted Neato again and they said well maybe something shiny like a mirror is trowing it off (there is nothing like that on either floor that I have been running it)...or my personal favorite, the sun is in it's eyes....give me a break. Basically anything but it's their product, and I'm fairly certain their "repair" was just a delay to get it out of warranty so they could then do nothing to support it anymore. Super.

This thing is an expensive, useless sham. There's a problem with it almost every time I tell it to work. I'm actually on my second one of these vacuums.

The first one immolated itself on my gas heater grate, despite its drop sensor and the magnetic barrier I put around the entire grate. I came home to the smell of burning plastic and found the Botvac melted into the grate. It could have burned down my whole house. I was sent a replacement, but I don't trust it to work when I'm not home.

The replacement is constantly shutting down for one reason or another. It tells me to clean the brush, so I clean the brush. But it still won't work. Babysitting this dumb thing is a bigger pain in the ass than just vacuuming the floor myself.

Do yourself a favor and get a cleaning service if you don't want to clean your own floors. This Neato Botvac is useless but VERY expensive.

UPDATE 01/09/19
Still struggling with this dumb device. Even with updated software, it only really works about a third of the time. It's easily confused by furniture. The urge to kick it across the room while it bumps against the same table leg 100 times in a row is unbelievable.

UPDATE 12/08/19
The Botvac has been sent to a repair facility on the East coast. It will cost $70 to fix. I'm throwing good money after bad. In the meantime, I've discovered that it's better to spend 20 or so minutes vacuuming the house with my old reliable Kirby than it is to babysit an overpriced, poorly engineered "robot" for over two hours.

UPDATE 05/20/20
The Botvac is back from the repair facility. It has cleaned the house about 15 times since it returned, always under supervision, because it can't be trusted.

Now, there's a new issue: The dust bin isn't held in place with a latch. It's basically a flap that sits in place. Now, that flap isn't pressing on the button that tells the vacuum that it's closed. Pressing on the flap presses the button, but as soon as I stop pressing, the vacuum thinks the dust bin has been removed. The vacuum just sits and beeps uselessly until the battery dies.

I'm giving up on this expensive garbage and going back to my trusty 50-year-old Kirby vacuum. My Neato robot is a bunch of cheap components cobbled together in a poorly-engineered design.

This may sound totally ridiculous but I HATE...HATE HATE HATE when I walk around my house and end up with cat hair, dust, cat litter, glitter strings from cat toys, basically ANYTHING on my feet. I have hardwood, softwood, vinyl and terrazzo floors in my cute lil 570sqft brownstone 1 bedroom apt and I was sweeping and vacuuming at least a few times a week and I just couldn't get ahead of it. I'm pretty sure not being able to easily get under my couch or bed, where said cute kitty likes to chill sometimes and roll around in the dust, was a big reason for this.

I toiled over the idea of getting a robo vacuum for a while, like a year, and my sugarer has a Roomba in their office that they love and I just got to a breaking point w/ perpetual dirty toes and decided to do some serious research, which brought me... here. To my lovely, magical, Sucka who vacuums ALL THE PLACES!

When I initially got it and turned it on, it got stuck on some hanging carpet strings on a cat scratcher and a call to CS made me think this thing was super fragile and it would like a day in my house. BUT, my experience w/ CS was amazing and they sent me a replacement brush, which turns out I may not need but apparently some come w/ extra brushes, which mine did not, and after a few restarts, the vacuum worked again. Since that day, I've fallen in love! It was a bit dumb at first, which also made me nervous but it's since stopped trying to climb up the stand of my burl wood side table and it seems to get more efficient.

I really appreciate the scheduling feature and I've actually taken it up a step and when I wake in the morning, I run it once manually and right before I get home, I have it run it's automatic cleaning. I'm not sure when I'm going to use my Dyson Animal again (maybe my meditation cushion??) but I'm totally stoked on this lil thing and if it holds up, will prove to definitely be worth the money, at least for this slightly (maybe more than slightly) neurotic apt dweller.

As a side benefit, it's forced me to be more tidy w/ my clothes when I get home from working out/work/out and put my stuff away so the floors are always bare.

The Roomba we bought did not do half as good a job as the Neato. This thing is UNBELIEVABLY good. We have a big house--6 bedroom, 3 bath--with porcelain tile floors and various size, shape, and height area rugs throughout. The Roomba struggled with some of the carpets, but never was able to climb up on the thickest one and then actually do its job. If it did make it up on the high shag, it then just moved in a small area--constantly struggling to gain control of the terrain, which it never did. The Roomba also did not have the adaptive ability the Neato has. The Neato doesn't care if you close a door, move a chair, sit boxes in the hallway, etc.. It just adapts and moves around the objects. The Roomba failed miserably in this area. I could go on and on, but no need. We tried both, and the Neato beats the Roomba on EVERY level.

First off, I love this thing. I bought it back in May, I believe, while waiting for the renovations on my house to be done. Finally got to open the box and set it up Sept 30. Really easy to connect to my phone, set up a schedule to clean at noon M-F and got a message everyday telling me it had finished cleaning along with a copy of the map. Fantastic!!!
That lasted 16 days. Then I got a notification early one morning saying there was an update. As I was hitting the OK button, I thought "every update screws stuff up" but I was half asleep when the alert came through. Well, I was right. It will not connect to the Neato Server anymore. No more schedule, mapping, etc. I manually hit the button before I leave the house every morning. It gets lost or doesn't redock to charge sometimes and without mapping, I cant see what it did or if lost, where it is. I called the company, several emails have been exchanged Oct 19 and I still have no solution. I've reset, rebooted, reinstalled app, etc countless times and nothing. Before I could even tell customer service what it was failing to connect to, they said it "neato server". Its been a week with no info. I need this to be solved.

Picks up a pretty impressive amount of dirt, dog hair and dust for such a little guy. Unless you do a pretty heavy vacuum before starting this thing, be prepared to empty the dust bin a lot at first. Once you run it several times over, it'll get to the point where a daily vacuum will suffice. I have two dogs that shed comical amounts of hair, and the D5 does a surprisingly good job managing the cakes of dog hair that end up on my floors.

The Google Home integration is pretty solid, if you're in that ecosystem. It was the main reason I bought this version over much more economical options out there. It's not stated much in most of what I read about this before purchasing, but the IFTTT integration is also really great; I programmed mine to start a cycle automatically whenever I leave the house.

If you have furniture that has rounded ledges, like an IKEA Tobias for example, it's going to get hung up on them. But be patient; Depending on how thick the bottom part of the furniture is, it will usually either lunar rover itself over it eventually or move on to another area. It occasionally gets stuck on my IKEA Poang legs, but the "I'm stuck" message sent to your phone will let you know when you need to swoop in to save the day.

If you have multiple levels on your house, fear not. Just pick him up, drop him where you want him to clean, and send him on his way. He'll let you know when he's done, and then you just pick him up and put him back on his dock. Minor inconvenience, but I guess we're just not there yet with botvacs with hover technology just yet. I'm happy enough with this one to buy another one for that level if it made sense (I only have one large room that's on a different level than the rest of my house).

The batteries on these are rated only for 300 full power cycles; If you're planning to schedule this for a once-a-day vacuum like me, be prepared to buy another battery in a year or so. Luckily, the batteries for these things aren't prohibitively expensive, but it's a Good-to-Know.

My wife was skeptical when she opened this D5 Connected as a Christmas present. She is skeptical of most technology, except her IPad. First, it really cleans our hardwood floors, carpet, thrown rugs, and runners. Second, it is really gentle if it bumps into anything and generally learns not to jump it again. Third, it doesn’t suck up throw rugs in our bathroom like our Hoover upright. Fourth, it doesn’t go under furniture or beds that have a skirt nearly reaching the floor (thus does not get entangled with stuff she stores under our bed). Fifth, it does navigate into spots the Hoover won’t.
I, on the other hand, am a technology fan. I am impressed with how smart this is in navigating a complex floor plan, climbing over thresholds, and getting in and out of tight spots; it rarely gets stuck and its then easy to avoid similar situations by moving the troublesome item. Everything works as advertised, including WiFi, map and time history on what has been cleaned and where it is. It gets back to its charger (or other starting place if its been moved for a special job). Its battery is plenty strong to keep it going for over an hour and cleaning approx 1000 ft2 in one go.

We have loooked at robot vacuums for quite a while and we found them to be confusing. Each brand somehow or another boast being superior to another. Then once we pursued a brand there are all of the different models. We landed on the D5. We anticipated the delivery by shampooing our carpets and using our Dyson upright to ensure a clean start.

We unpacked the unit found the base a home place the unit on the base to charge. While charging we downloaded the apparently and read through the instructions. Once charged we started the app and setup was just a few clicks some blinking lights and off she went. Very simple.

The initial run was a little bumpy. It got under our dinning table and I thought for sure it was going to get stuck. It was determined and got every single inch navigating around chair and table legs. I was amazed at the end of the initial run how much dirt it had collected especially after shampooing our carpets and using a Dyson regularly. It was actually a litttle embarrassing.

At the completion of the first run when the unit docked I was alerted there was a software update. I followed the steps and it did an update which included the map feature. The map feature was not on the unit out of the box. After the second run with the update installed when the unit finished I was sent an alert through the app that the unit has finished cleaning. When the unit returned to base I received a map that showed the area that had been cleaned.

After a few weeks with the unit I would suggest that you empty the filter after every run. If your wifi network should have a reset or reboot your vacuum may act a little crazy send it back to the base let it recharge then restart the cleaning. Check your roller brush we have had to clean ours already. The unit is working exactly as we hoped and we are very pleased.

Jun13 2019 UPDATE: I worked with customer service and was about to get the unit fixed and mailed back to me. Customer support was great despite the time zone delay. Leaving up my description of what happened but I'm changing my rating back to 5 stars because overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and it's working great.

This vacuum is great if you hate cleaning so much that you would pay someone $150 each time to do a bad job vacuuming your house. It ran for three cycles and is completely useless now - I've done all the troubleshooting and it is still unable to run a cleaning cycle, despite being connected to the app and wifi and still being able to power up and run the vacuum. It drives about a foot away from the base, starts up the vacuum, and then instead of driving around it just gives up and dies like a mortally wounded deer stuck in quicksand.

Absolutely abysmal product, especially for the price. Customer service has been great but they are in the UK so it's pretty difficult to correspond with them.

I will happily amend my review when and if this gets resolved, but I'm not holding my breath. Even if you manage to find this vacuum on sale for $50 you will be sorely disappointed in your purchase. If I could go back and spend my money on something else instead I would buy dozens of rolls of tape and craft a big sticky tape ball, then open the windows and hope the wind blows the ball around my house to pick up the dust.

I purchased this approx. 1 year ago and while it does a reasonable job cleaning the floor it does not follow the walls close enough to actually clean into the edges and corners. While I am not well pleased with this aspect when I was notified there was a code update available I was hopeful this this would improving it's poor wall following capability. Now I find that I cannot reconnect my unit to wifi. The old code level worked fine connecting to wifi just fine. I have not changed the the router settings etc. When I wrote to Neato support for help they just said it it all my problem blaming my router settings etc etc. They totally ignore the fact the the old code worked fine. I still await real support. I would recommend a) not buying a Neato product and b) if you have one do not update the code.

I eventually got this unit working although support never accepted that the code change had affected connectivity to my router. Now the unit has gone belly up saying 'Put me on the floor'. Support gave me some simple instruction like wriggling the wheel and blowing the wheels with a hair dryer. But no fix !! Now they are saying it needs repair !!!!!!

STAY AWAY from NEATO

Из семейного круга Vorwerk была положена мне робот гном VR200 к сердцу, я видела чаще при этом очистку и был очень доволен продуктом. Но цена..., а затем уже 3-летний продукт, что так же имеет свои слабости, как и все роботы последнего поколения. Относительно быстро можно натыкается затем сохранить на компании Neato, их технологии и дизайна на протяжении уже почти десять лет модель робота представляет два барбакана и уже относится к Vorwerk-группы, их самостоятельности но. Neato имеет к Vorwerk один недостаток "слабых" бренд в Германии, но большое преимущество, чтобы продавать не только через собственные прямые продажи, соответственно цена зависит развитие ваших роботов по правилам рынка, а не диктуется сверху.

D5 Connected мы уже давно имели в виду. Ему есть с конца 2016 года и в конечном счете, он компактнее ответвление флагманской модели Neato Botvac Connected 2014 года. Что Botvac Connected по-прежнему является модель премиум серии, совершенно очевидно, что он всегда первым получает обновления и по-прежнему высоким ценам, чем D3 и D5-серии. В то же время он является немного странным, потому что D5 Подключен к Connected новые и более современные модели, в которой лишь на некоторые функции отсутствуют. Я даю общее Представление о том, какие модели Vorwerk VR 200 и Neato Botvac Connected серии Botvac D5 Connected вперед (+) или где они уступают (-).

Для нас как аллергиков было отсутствие HEPA-фильтр на хуторе в дополнение к цене попользоваться не Аргумент. Neato имеет ультра-HEPA фильтр, что для этого должен быть и разумный диапазон цен. Также насосно-компрессорных помощь-это скорее пиар, ведь немного подняться (2 см) может Neato-модели. Alexa поддержки сейчас есть все 3.

в Конечном счете это в первую очередь отсутствием дисплея, о котором нужно при этом модель в Ясном. Можно управлять роботом с помощью приложения, что также означает, что вы путешествуете на работу приложения более или менее и в том, что робот держит его стабильное подключение к домашней беспроводной сети. Потому что без приложения хотя робот по-прежнему использовать (также сохранил ранее добавленных соблюдаются графики Уборки без соединения), но не более фактически контролируемой. Если где-то проблема, вы не получите уведомления и управлять с дивана или из офиса, упал прочь. Поэтому это, конечно, немного назидательные, когда читаешь заранее о связи проблем D3/D5-серии, о каком себя комфортно в считая самых технический блог-рецензии (например, при Caschys Blog) Примечания найти и состоят также после текущего обновления по различных форумах по-прежнему. Даже друзья из нас робот уже несколько недель, и сообщают им, он теряю примерно раз в неделю его связь. Это меня не в восторге. Робот, которого я могу только через приложение правильно управлять, который должен был сделать именно на этом поле не дерьмо.

Как тогда Сделка была слишком хороша и цена распростился расстояние от Vorwerk-модель на почти 300 евро, мы рискнули и D5 Connected купил. Радостно распаковал, обновляли и подключен на радость пришло сначала, что он создает нашим ИКЕА-мохнатый ковер легко, обладает высотой ворса 18 мм. 19 мм внутри, по словам производителя, он ни в коем случае не создает Shaggy-ковры с более чем 2,5 см высотой ворса, который тестировал я уже как-то на хуторе-модель. Навигация-это мечта, робот определяет свое пространство снаружи и внутри заполнит полосу за полосой. Иногда он едет против немного Schmackes где-то, но он, кажется, совсем не мешало ему и он не делает ошибку еще раз. Кто имеет очень чувствительную и дорогую мебель, которая могла бы возмущаться по поводу робота, но наши выдерживают. Спокойно он не является, лучше не сосет тогда, когда смотрит его. Точечный очищения очень полезен для области вокруг наш ящик для мусора, который он делает, потом каждое Утро в десять минут чистый. Робот делает очень изысканный вид и легко чистится, приложение в порядок, там можно выбрать все функции, которые робот имеет так (в том числе Extra-Care-функция, с которой он ездит осторожнее) и можно программировать робот там. Различные технические новинки, такие как Amazon Echo или IFTTT-Support не пробовал.

Тогда, спустя всего несколько часов, разочарование. Иван, так его крестное имя, находится в автономном режиме. Так же. Наша Technicolor-маршрутизатор от Unitymedia-это не мечта модель, но отправляет только с 2,4 ГГц как Neato востребованы и никогда не имел проблем с другими устройствами в доме. Единственный способ подключить робота, является сброс и затем восс

С этим лозунгом, меня впустили меня на тему. Это должно прийти все иначе, понял я сегодня днем! Одним словом; он не нашел меня страдать ;)

Когда я его так одиноко в гараже, взял поперек я его сразу в дом. Распаковал, собрал и к зарядной станции толкнул. Обновление выполнено и ждала, что он может пойти.

Как я Robi, я боюсь через сопло. (ТИХО.)
Когда ему исследовать дом, сделал солидное впечатление на меня. Пока мы пришли к точке, когда Robi, после примерно 20 минут maulte, аккумулятор разряжен, отведи меня к зарядной станции.
Мое дурацкое Gesichtsausdrcu, войдет в историю. Но только один раз, - сказал я, когда я с ним приехал и поднял его. Он было потрачено для загрузки станции, где он мог укрепить себя.

В приложении был показан мне, что зарядка ca будет требовать 2 часа. (САМОСТОЯТЕЛЬНО это не тоже!)

После примерно 15 минут, однако он уже снова на дорогу. Работящая, старательная, что я думала.
пришла квитанция на возвращение! Всего около 5 метров Strebertum, осталась на деревянной Robi печь стеклянная пластина повесить и сообщила о приложении: батарею, отвези меня на станцию подзарядки. И примерно на 5 метров по прямой Линии к станции.

Итак, я снова в гостиной, но и уходит в сторону Robi в пути и brummelte в моих трех дней бородой, (САМОСТОЯТЕЛЬНО ни в коем случае!) и снова привел его к зарядной станции. Подключение к Wi-Fi сети, как было раньше.

После 15 минут он поехал обратно и доложил аккумулятор полностью????
Со всей силы, он хлопает дверью теперь против Ванной комнаты, что привел меня к Statement: ВРЕДИТЕЛЬСТВО :)
Это Высказывание с моей стороны он уже есть данные, вероятно, не слышали и показал, хотят, чтобы дома еще раз исследовать.
Что он пронизывал тогда действительно, пока не было сказано через 40 минут снова: батарея; отвези меня обратно к зарядной станции!

Это был знак для меня, хватит!!! Я не заказывала, но этот гном, чтобы носить его постоянно по дому. Все ТРИ Хорошие вещи, и тогда вы позволили мне под луной встречать; ОН УДАЛИЛСЯ с МОИХ ГУБ, КОГДА Я СНОВА ПРИВЕЛ ЕГО К зарядной станции.

Я нажал в приложении на старт с уверенностью, что он освободит это так или не так хвостовиком, на первом этаже два добермана волос косичками. Это прощание я бросил на него и направился в офис.

Он прибыл в ru работа, вероятно, хотели спокойно :)
Когда я в офисе, вышел мой первый взгляд на приложение, чтобы увидеть то, что бес делает.
Мне было ясно, что он припарковал где-либо в доме и скулил, аккумулятор разряжен.
так удивился я была, когда мне Android сообщила: Neato очистки.
Примерно час спустя, читала на дисплее; Neato Магазине???

нет, я не думаю, что он сам нашел к зарядной станции. Который просто блефует, я думала мне и посмотрел в уже клеить на стену :)
Когда я отправился вечером по дороге домой, я понял одно жаль друзей у меня, потому что я был уверен, что ром он стоит где-то в доме с разряжена.

Я ДАЛЕКО НЕ ПЛОХО ПРИПАРКОВАЛ ПОРАЖЕНЫ, КАК ОН полностью загружен В зарядную станцию И МЕНЯ С ЗЕЛЕНОЙ LED Приветствовал.

Когда я тестировал его, однако вечером снова на сердце и почки, к сожалению, он положил обратно на Nichtnahbar.
Я даю ему еще один шанс и раз исхожу из того, что он приходит в одиночку лучше справится :)
Если нет, обратно добавил Robi билет :)

Я сейчас одну звезду, так как Neato до громкость супер и надежный сброс.

надо дать Neato немного времени, чтобы написать карты (дом, квартира) в память :). Он сосет из ru короткий опыт супер класс, но, к сожалению, тоже так громко, что наши 2 собаки Доберман постоянно страх и обезумевший блужданий, когда Neato сообщает в Speisekamer на службу.
Поэтому он возвращается к сожалению.
Мы ждем версию, которая гораздо тише (50 дБ) и, соответственно, нервов наших Wauzis не испытывал.

Как мы выясняли, после робот пылесос мы столкнулись с помощью различных испытаний продукции (Потребитель, чип и т. д.) на марки Neato. Из-за Сходства с Vorwerk и более низкого тарифа умным" роботов Neato был под "для меня ясно фаворитом.
Я просто не знал какая модель должна быть куплена - D85, новый D5 или Connected.
в конце концов она стала D5, так как лучше оснащен, как D85 (особенно аккумулятор!) и дешевле и новее, чем Connected.
Есть спады сообщают о проблемы с подключением Wi-Fi - это не отпугнуло меня только раз - но кто не рискует, тот не выигрывает.

После того, как робот приехал, распаковал и был готов, я подключил его согласно инструкции с помощью Wi-Fi. Оно должно быть согласно инструкции, 2,4 ГГц сети - я его с моим 5GHz связаны и, о чудо - это сработало. Однако не долго...
таким образом, все устройство в исходное положение и на этот раз правильно подсоединен к сети 2,4 ГГц - все ОК. и это продолжается уже 3 недели.

В результате Всасывания в доме является более чем удовлетворительным. Если помочь Neato "" сделать, он свою работу отлично. У нас сосание преимущественно гладких полов (паркет, плитка) и только одно средство флориген ковер или грязи бегун. И вот результат удовлетворительным.

1. День (8.9) почти полностью очищается и возвращается к зарядной станции
2. День (9.9) 60% промыть в приблизительно 4 schrittNNe. Не может найти зарядную станцию.
3. Я должен был убедить мою подругу долго, пока не понял, что робот-пылесос для нас очень полезно. Как сказано в названии, это ваш вывод после двух месяцев нашего робота: "Я больше не хочу обходиться без него".
Когда я читаю в других отзывах, что у пользователей были проблемы с подключением (вообще и особенно специально после первого обновления), не могу подключить у меня там вообще. Приложение является очень удобным и интуитивно понятным в использовании. Самая большая трудность при настройке? Найти имя робота! (Поменяли название около 5 раз).
мощность всасывания топ. Через "D" форма робота он проникает во все уголки. Также наши края отдельных комнатах, в прихожей (ламинат повышенного на Течь связана с Рельс) для робота не проблема. Что ему не нравится? Кабель, отдельные наши носки и табуретки, работающих как конус в сидение высоко. То есть перед тем, как оставишь его в покое, короче убирать и мы специально выставляют стулья еще высоко.

Мы видели многие из нас в преддверии всасывания робота и даже дама из Хутор прийти.
Здесь я нашла некоторые негативные оценки по поводу подключения к Wi-Fi.
Я сам не являюсь одаренным технически реально, но имел такие же проблемы, как проверенных, которые дали мало баллов из-за этой проблемы. Одного взгляда на домашнюю страницу производителя однако решил мою проблему в течение максимум 1 минуты. Надо было нажать всего две кнопки на роботе и он уже вновь соединилась с Wi-Fi. С тех пор он у нас работает безупречно, создал точный поэтажный план нашего дома и я не хочу пропустить его!
Он всегда работает, когда мы работаем, отсюда и довольно высокий уровень шума является для нас не проблема. Для этого робот говорит аккуратно и очень тщательно! Даже наш довольно высокий лохматый ковер забирается, причем робот здесь требуется немного больше времени. Но батареи хватает на весь нижний этаж и, вероятно, еще дольше.
Мы планируем приобрести нас еще одна модель для верхнего этажа.

Вчера замену пришел аппарат. Чтобы избежать старых ошибок и установки фрагментов, второй смартфон (iOS 10.4.1) использован новый аккаунт создан и робот вошли. Сработало и он был losgesaugt бодро. Новый зарядке, запущена, и, как у первой модели - нет возможности подключить к WiFi. Обратная как описано в руководстве также не работает. Сосания нельзя говорить при устройстве. Даже мельчайшие крошки из D5 Connected не всасывает. Как только eub колеса например, стоит на одном краю Ковра (~5мм высотой), не хватает мощности всасывания для нижележащему крошки.
Зато Kehrleistung действительно очень хорошо, что посмотреть в конце вакансии в грязи бак.

Предвкушение было огромным: безопасная упаковка, простой ввод в эксплуатацию с приложением и первая мощность всасывания: супер! Потом стало все труднее: робот постоянно находится в Автономном режиме, затем снова перезагрузка устройства, ни простой служащий, если приходится делать это ежедневно. К сожалению, после 1. Сосать аккумулятор-красный светодиод вспыхнул, снова перезагрузка (заявление руководство по эксплуатации: техническое обслуживание!). Супер обрабатываются и отличная мощность всасывания! Наши ожидания были превышены. Бюджет с 1 собака, наша Botvac очищает каждый 2 Завтра весь 1 этаж (кухня, прихожая, столовая и гостиная). Наш ковер в гостиной (у нас были наши проблемы) всасывается очень хорошо и тщательно. Приложение прекрасно работает как на Android так и на iOS устройствах (No-Go являются удивительными линиями). Абсолютно нет Wi-Fi проблем, обновление при первом включении и Лос. Очистка/техобслуживание прибора совсем несложно, и что любой запасной части в том числе. Аккумулятор original докупать мы может найти очень похвально! Единственное схватывание, мы найдем задних колес, которые, к сожалению, не из резины, а, следовательно, на rauerem подполье (у нас деревянный пол) делают в зависимости от того, относительно много шума (пол, конечно, остается невредимым). Мы можем рекомендовать устройство только!

Положительный во первых: он делает то, что он должен (в основном). Он эффективно сосет и я каждый раз поражаюсь, как много пыли и собачьей шерсти находятся несмотря на ежедневные уборки в приемную емкость. В нашей большой квартире 100 кв. м, он чистил около 64 квадратных метров. Он создает ca в час, при условии, что он нигде не остается висеть. Теперь к негативу. Маленькие колеса начинают править уже через несколько дней начинают скрипеть. Навигация отказано в тот или иной момент. Бывают дни когда он перемещается под себя стул и снова просто не узнал. Меня Neato D5 не смог убедить, к сожалению.
Я не волновался покупки легко и предварительно много читал. Поскольку D5 мне показалось в самый раз. К сожалению, не встретила тогда его эксплуатация при мне. Вот негативные моменты D5:
