I was skeptical about Bluetooth headphones, and have stayed away from even trying them mostly because of the price. But the Motorola S305's cost half what other Bluetooth headphones have in the past so I decided to give them a try. Mostly I've been very impressed with these, though I do have a few problems.First, the sound quality is very good - on par with a decent set of wired headphones of similar price. I haven't found there to be any static, though occasionally (and inexplicably) the sound will cut out for a half second, which can be annoying. It doesn't happen that often though. The range on these is remarkably good - I bought these specifically for jogging, so the range would only ever have to be about 2 feet, but I've also used them at my desk and I really appreciate the freedom to get up and walk around up to 20 feet away with several walls between my phone and me. When the headphones do get out of range, they just disconnect, and then reconnect when they're in range again. The volume is also very good, and although they do not cover the ears completely, the volume can be turned up to the point where it covers most outside noise. If I were choosing headphones just for work or travel, I might choose something with greater noise isolation, but since I chose these for general use and especially exercise (where size and weight are the main consideration) these work nicely. The headphones are quite comfortable, more so than other behind-the-head earphones I've tried. Wearing them for a couple hours at a time did not cause any numbness or pain. They are also pretty secure, and jogging with them hasn't been a problem. I appreciate the fact that these charge with a micro-USB cable, which means that I can charge with my PC and a standard cable when I'm on the road. Sadly, the included charge is a hard-wired micro-usb type, unlike the ones that take a powerplug and provide standard USB-out, so if you don't want to bring the power charger with you you'll have to buy a micro-USB cable.My biggest problem with the headphones so far is the buttons. There are a total of 7 buttons; one for power (with indicator LEDs) and volume up and down all located on the rim of the headphones, and then a D-pad layout for call, play/pause, >> and << on the outside of the right earphone. The buttons located on the rim are loose and feel cheap. Worst of all, they rattle when jogging. That clickety-clack is quite loud when it is right next to my ear, and it is distracting. The other buttons all work fine, though as other reviewers have noted the >> and << buttons don't work with the iPhone/iPod Touch because of Apple's software. I've also found that I have to be a little careful in handling the headphones because it is easy to accidentally press the "call" button, which automatically triggers a call to the last person you called, and that can be somewhat embarrassing.My final annoyance is with the auto-power-off feature, which does not seem to actually work. The manual states that if the headphones are unused for 5 minutes, they will power down, but they obviously just go in to "sleep" mode and will automatically wake if there's an incoming call. This can be frustrating since the headphones might be 20 feet away in another room but when someone calls, the headphones will take over the call and I've found myself on many occasions talking into my phone while the person on the other end is talking through the headphones. This is, I'm sure, an issue that my phone is just as likely to be the cause of, but it's worth noting because it does happen a lot. Just make sure to turn the headphones off when not in use and it won't be a problem.Reading that last bit of my review one might get the idea that I'm not happy with these headphones, but that's not true; I think they're good for the price, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive pair of wireless headphones for office or exercise. But those looking for the best at any price are likely to find more expensive headphones better.

This unit works well and delivers good sound, is comfortable to wear, connects to an iPhone 4S quickly and easily and is priced for only a little more some of Apple's own ear buds. Overall, losing the wire is worth whatever downside there might be to the unit. I've used it working out at the gym and on hour long exercise walks and it works exactly as I needed it to do. Usually there is a momentary interruption in the signal within a few seconds of connecting, but it has always returned quickly. The ear pieces are comfortable, though they do accumulate perspiration when the exercise is more vigorous. I've learned that the key difference in "wearability" is that ear buds usually stay in place and aren't affected by sweat, whereas, I can feel the sweat collecting on this unit and if the back of your neck gets sweaty, you're going to hit this unit's "floating headband" when you wipe your neck.

So I bought these headphones about a month ago because I love listening to podcasts on my iPhone. But I hate constantly having to pull my phone out of my pocket to pause whenever someone is trying to talk to me. So these headphones with their remote on the earpieces seemed great.And they were great, for about 2 weeks.On the third week I noticed that the connection would occasionally cut out. At this time I didn't think much of it, I assumed that it was due to periods of low battery.Then it began to cut out any time I put my phone in my pocket. If I didn't keep my phone out and open the connection would constantly go in and out, making podcasts completely unlistenable. So unless I leave my phone sitting on my desk, or keep it in my hand above my waist these headphones are completely useless.I don't know if my pair is defective, or if this is a common problem, but I will never use bluetooth headphones again.

Awesome form factor - Check, Lightwieght and fit great - Check.I am a casual user, no hard use, no mistreatment. They break, won't charge, can't pair the list goes on and on. I looked on message boards and got nothing but the same. These are basically "disposable headsets" buy them, wear them for a couple of months and when they break, throw them away and buy a new pair.

I've had these for a month now and feel like they were one of the best investments I've made. I work as a lab tech which involves a lot of moving around, and I wear these all day while I stream Pandora or Slacker from my phone. They're also great when working out, very comfortable when jogging. Call quality is great, my brother didn't even know I was on a headset and my phone was in another room.I also use them with my Acer Iconia Tab W500-BZ467 10.1-Inch Tablet (Silver) when I'm out in public and don't want everyone to to hav to listen to my netflix or hulu.I've paired them with my PlayStation 3 320GB System and used it with MAG.My only complaint is that it can get a little uncomfortable where the wire loops over your ears after a few hours. But, I've found after I adjust them a little it's fine. This might not be a problem if you don't have big ears =)

Within 1 month of buying this headset it stopped working. Motorola support did not seem surprised and sent me a replacement. The replacement broke after two weeks. Motorola sent me a third replacement. This stopped working after 3 months.I was using this product to listen to music while running. After three replacements of this product, every single one of which broke, I would not recommend this headset.

Just received Motorola's 'ROKR' S305 Bluetooth headset and I'm definitely pleased with the quality of the device compared to the price I paid. The audio quality while listening to music over either my iMac or my Evo 4g sounds terrific and I've been told by those I've spoken to using the built-in microphone that it is crystal clear, no different than if I were holding the phone up to my face.Pairing the headphones to a device was super easy and the buttons on the headphones themselves are really nice to have, especially when paired to a device that might be in one's pocket or across the room.My only qualm with the S305 is the feeling of the buttons. They do feel a little on the "cheap plastic" side. For the 40$ I paid for the pair, however, I believe that the price completely makes up for that fact.I give these headphones a solid A. A definite must buy if you're looking for affordable bluetooth headsets.

I think Bluetooth is the problem, but the ONLY problem I have is switching between two devices. (Laptop and Phone/Music) You have to kill the bluetooth service in the device you dont want to use in order to switch. If you can let me know how, (urtwopid at g mail dot com) and I will switch to 5 stars. Great sound, and very convenient. If you wear glasses, or sunglasses with your headphones, you may want to consider a different pair. Seamless with Droid Bionic (as it is motorola also) Don't know what else to say.

Pros- When paired with phone it excels, mic and sound quality- Pairs easily- Price was good at the time I got them in comparison with competitors- Fairly durable - 2 years going on 3 and they are still sounding as the day I got them (might be exaggerating)- Good battery life even after 2 years! (light to medium use)Cons- Uncomfortable for long periods of use- Really bad sound quality when in headset mode on PC (Sound being heard is only available in MONO)- Sound quality is OK on pc in stereo mode.- Sound cuts out at times on pc - I have to sync again..- As with most headphones ear muffs get destroyed..Because of the battery life and the fact it has lasted this long.. It deserves a free cheer!

I purchased these to use with my iPhone 4 because I wanted a hands-free option while working around the house. I found that most clip-on cases for this phone are too heavy to wear on my sweats or shorts and I don't always have a pocket for my iPhone.I was a bit nervous about buying a pair of over the ear headphones because I wear glasses and my experience has shown that glasses are a problem with this type of headphone. I received them this morning and they are very comfortable and work perfectly fine with my glasses.A previous reviewer said that the headphones seem like they are flimsy. That does seem true of the flexible neck loop, but the headphone itself seems to be made sturdy.These were really easy to pair with my iPhone. After charging them for about an hour, I made a call to my husband at work (a location that doesn't have a great signal) and he said that I sounded good over the wireless headset.Right now, I'm listening to music while writing review. The clarity and sound on these headphones is amazing. I would expect that this quality of sound from a pair of headphones that cost 3 times as much. Overall these headphones are really priced well.I would have no problem recommending this product to any of my friends. I'm seriously thinking of getting a pair for my husband because he doesn't like his current bluetooth headset.

I've tried everything to make it work on my Windows 7 "Acer 725-0802" netbook...BUT IT WILL NOT WORK!!! Microsoft states on their device compatibility website that it is INCOMPATIBLE. Neither Motorola or Microsoft have done anything to rectify the problem since it's release in 2009. DO NOT BUY FOR WINDOWS 7 systems.

I love this set of headphones. They're plenty loud, sound great (or at least as great as I can discern; I'm no audiophile), and have a great range. The only downside is that the side buttons (forward, reverse, play, and dial/hang up) are WAY too easy to press.On one occasion, I fell asleep wearing the headphones and the call button must have gotten pushed because it redialed my last call, which was to my friend's house. This was late at night, maybe 2 or 3 AM, so they didn't pick up after the first few calls. I, of course, was asleep for all of this. Eventually, after who knows how many calls, his dad picked up and asked me what I was calling for. I was in the middle of a dream when the omniscient voice of my friend's dad suddenly filled my head like the voice of god. I woke up enough to make a feeble attempt at an answer; no idea whether any words were produced. Finally, my brain was roused out of its state of hibernation long enough to piece together what had happened. I apologized for waking him up, hung up, powered off the headphones, and went back to sleep.TL;DR: wearing these headphones may cause you to deify your best friend's dad.Other than that, they have been great!

I had this headset 2 days when something in it started rattling and everything I listened to them they cut in and out. I am very disappointed in this product. I would not recommend this for anyone.

These little guys were great for about the first 6 months. I used them while driving to listen to music and make phone calls. They would work for about 10 hours of non-stop use. However after about months of using 10-12 hours per week, the headset no longer holds a charge. A replaceable battery would have been nice, now I have a high tech paper wait. Keep this in mind when buying.

these r great, clear, loud enough, microphone is good ,quality of sound is great , for me, good price too, bought one for my son and boss, BUT, after 3 or 4 month it stoped making phone calls , then sometimes it wouldn't turn on, then just stoped working all together, now what do i do ?

I'm using this product with the TaoTronics TT-BA01 Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Audio Dongle Adapter to provide wireless audio with my Kindle Fire. I use this setup while working out at the gym on the elliptical. There is a slight lag when watching videos that seems to come and go. When present it is very minimal and hardly noticeable and I expected it before I ordered. The battery life is great. I work out with it for about 45 minute a day and only charge the unit once a week. This also works well with my iphone. Very happy with this purchase.

I have not used any other headset, so take what I say with a grain of salt.I purchased in in early April, 2011. I chose this one for its decent reviews (good rating with lots of people) over a few others and I have been very happy with it so far.I had to get used to the ear "holders' at first and my ears were un accustom to the weight. After a while, I got used to them and now I no longer notice it. I use it most at or near my desk for work/home. At work, I have online meetings with Lync. I can hear and be heard very clearly by all in the meeting audio. I also play games at home and the sound is pretty decent there too. There have been some issues from time to time, but in the end some of seems more of a drive issue than a hardware issue as a computer reboot often fixes any issues (or turning of the headset for a little while). Those issues are things like some static if I have moved fully out of range of the computer and return. There is some skipping of music if you are more than 15 feet or so from the source - but not really that big of a deal imo. The range seems pretty decent - does not seem to degrade to badly until you are over 15 feet or so from the source and even then it is not horrible until you have a wall in between you or are closer to 20-30 feet away.

I bought the Motorola S305 stereo headset for one reason only. There werent any other stereo headsets available for that low a price and I wanted to try it out. I read the customer reviews which were generally favorable to the product and I decided to give it a shot. And am I happy I did that. The S305 is a power packed product which is more than worth the money it sells for. Don't go by its slender looks - though it doesn't look and seem comparable to the other "big" stereo headsets, it is indeed a worthy competitor in the stereo headset market. In fact, its sleek design is a blessing as it is very light on the ears, not compromising the audio quality for any kind of music. Trust me, this one is a steal.

I can't explain my feeling regarding this product. It is exactly what I needed.this headset is perfect for the gym and running and it will never fell-off.the sound is just perfect (good base and good trable) you can't expect it as Dr. Dre beats sound but it gives you reasonable sound qualityfor the priceI had this product and my colleague at work and we both listen to music and answer our calls; the mic is more than perfect no one had complains of hearing my voice.I have only one little issue but I don't mind it which is the edge of the ear holder is little sharp in which it will hurt your ear after one hour of usage.All in all I would extreamly recommed this product and replace your old one ear bluetooth if you are looking for one.

Pros: - No problem connecting to my phone - Controls work fine - once you get used to them - Battery life is good - Sound is good - clear and loudCons: - They just aren't very comfortable - kinda hurt the top of your ears after awhile - Don't lie snug against your earsI read others complaining about it, but thought that they would break in, well they don't really. OK for 20-30 mins of use but if you wear them for any longer you will find yourself adjusting them constantly.

Audio quality good, charge about 4 hours. Bad design, hurts to wear sun glasses or any kind of glasses, since it get in the way. More than 1.5 hours, your ears will hurt due to design.Next time buy another unit with better ergonomics. OK for a start Bluetooth head set. Please note will not work with any computer blue tooth, only phones and Ipad. They should have mention that on the website, otherwise would have purchase another unit.

I will say to take the 1-2 star reviews with a grain of salt. I don' work out with these, but I do ride a bike and sweat in the 115F summer heat. I had my pair for 3-4 years now and they are still going strong. I have no complains. I have dropped them on tile quite a few times and use them at least once a week, most of the time everyday. Sound quality is good and they last for about 8 hours before needing to be recharged.The complaints about them shorting out, they must have gotten these soaked consecutively. It's common sense, you don't get electronics wet or they will fail. These headphones can take a beating and I have gotten them moist quite a few times on the ear buds.

Great clear sound with good base response considering its price. Range is good if have direct line of sight but suffers once you go into another room. Works with both android tablet (acer a500) and iPhone 3GS at the same time. The controls also work on both devices. Microphone is very good on iPhone but doesnt work on the Acer tab (Acers fault not the headphones). Exellent for pod casts, movies and youtube. Ok for music but there is better around if your prepared to pay big bucks for them. I also have etymotic ER5s and B&O earphones both worth 5 times the price but only about 10-15% better sound with no cordless, mic or controls. Very comfortable and light with pads fitting nicely on to ears. Highly recommend for the above uses. Purchased this second set as gift for sister:-) .Cheers Macka

I bought this headset as a present for my brother, since he has a Dune Buggie and love outdoors listening to good music.The reason I researched deeply and chose this headset is because my brother is handicapped in a wheelchair and has damages in his hands, so he needed to be able to handle the headset not only in his headset but also from his phone. Bottom-line, he is so happy with them and the amount of time the batteries lasts, that a whole ride of 5 hours cranked is no problem, since a stop to have a drink hooked at the lighter will recharge them in a very short time. It is a great product and would recommend it to anyone.Thanks for making my brother life more enjoyable!

All of the Bluetooth headsets that I have owned never fit my ears very well. Either the earbud hurt my ear or the earpiece just didn't stay on my ear securely.The S305 is lightweight and feels a little cheap, but it fits comfortably (and securely) on my ears and I can wear this headset for hours at a time, without my ears hurting. Since this headset fits over both ears, the S305 is a bit larger and the size helps: I have never forgotten it anywhere and it's too big to leave in my pants pocket (and send it through the washer).The plastic arm sometimes gets in the way of my shirt collar, but I've gotten used to it. $40 is well worth the price.

I bought this product about six months ago. I've been very happy with it. It pairs quickly with both my computers and both phones I've used since getting it. However, the past month or so, I've noticed that the battery life is very poor. Now, I understand that this is only a $25ish pair of headphones and that bluetooth capabilities will drain a device, but I don't use the headphones daily, and I'm only able to get about an hour and a half in each use before it starts beeping that my battery is depleted.Another negative is that you can't charge it while using it.If you don't mind charging it every day and won't be using it for more than an hour or so at a time, then it's a great purchase. However, I'd pay some extra for better battery life.

Purchased this item early 2010 and they still work great!I have synced these headphones with a number of different devices and they have all worked great!I can sync it to my iPod in the living room, walk through the kitchen, down the hall, and close the bedroom door behind me and they still stay connected! Of course, this depends on the house you live in, but they have lasted a long time. The charge port is still secure and they are comfortable for me. I use these when I go running on a near daily basis and even throwing them around they have held up nicely.

I have tried three different wireless head phones: Motorola S10-HD, Plantronics Backbeat 903, and Motorola S305.The Motorola S10-HD was non-adjustable and made for people with tiny heads. It also was the most expensive, so I returned it.The Plantronics Backbeat 903 was like a rope and had no stiffness, so it kept falling out of my ears. Any time I tried to push the bud deeper into my ear I would accidentally hit the call button or track-forward button. these were the second most expensive, and although it was feature-rich, not worth the money since they did not provide long hours of listening without constant adjustment. I actually lost them, sucked, but I am sort of glad because I got the Motorola S305s.If you are a audio-snob or a feature-junkie, then these are not for you. But if you are like me and just want something that stays on and works then these are PERFECT! Sure it has it's imperfections, but they are only $40! I actually think that I am getting more than what I paid for when I consider the quality to price ratio of the other two products.I would def recommend these! My wife is even buying a pair for herself.

I bought this item to use at work to listen to music on my I-touch and not miss any phone calls while listening. Despite the advertising to the contrary THE MOTOROLA S305 WILL NOT PAIR WITH 2 DIFFERENT BLUETOOTH DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME. I know Motorola advertises that it does but it does not. In the instruction book that comes with the S305 their are instructions on how to "CONNECT TO TWO DEVICES" but it does not work! You have to keep "pairing" the S305 every time you want to switch devices. I spent the weekend on Q&A forums about the Motorola S305 and I found no one that has been able to get the Motorola S305 head phones to connect to two devices at the same time. I read that Motorola will tell you this when you call their support line but I did have not call them.(Support line not available on the weekends). With that being said I have found that the S305 head phones work great. They have great sound with the I-touch and the controls on the headset work great. I found that using them with my Bluetooth enabled phone gives you great sound as well and it does pair easily with each device. All in all I am happy with the quality but why does Motorola advertise a function their product is not capable of performing. All we want as consumers is the truth when we are buying a product, not after. Step up Motorola!!!!Steve S.Arizona

Even with a fully charged battery, these headphones randomly turned themselves off every 2-3 minutes when paired with my MacBook Pro. When they did work, the sound quality was pretty poor. I expect better from Motorola. I'm sending them back to Amazon.

The headphone has good sound quality. It is comfortable for me as long as I don't wear it more than an hour. Long than that, I will feel the weight on my ears. But one thing on buying this headphone I am pleased with is the customer service provided by Motorola: 2 months after using it almost everyday, the volume button stopped working. I sent an email to Motorola asking for a replacement. After 3 or 4 emails exchanged, I mailed the broken headphone to them on my own expenses. It was about 10 dollars. They sent me back a brand new headphone(but no commercial packing, it was inside a small box by itself). Motorola honored the warranty.

I am on my second exchange right now. The last (2) died on my in the gym for no apparent reason and wouldn't turn back on. Motorola was never able to give me a reason as to what could cause such a thing.

For $40, this headset can't be beat in my opinion. I use this with my iphone as simple headphones and phone headset as well as with my laptop as just headphones. I use my iphone quite heavily for streaming audio and wanted the combination of wireless, full stereo, and ability to make/take calls. This fits the bill without question. The battery life seems more than sufficient as well. With regular use over the last month or so I've charged it twice. Seriously considering another pair to keep at the office - at $40 why the heck not!?

Great sound, rich bass and delightful high notes. Battery life is long enough (about 6 hours), charges completely in about an hour. I've had this for about 3 months and the only two complains (not deal-breakers) were: you miss the first half a second or so of every song you play, I thing this could be a design flaw, and you can't fast-forward any song, you just can use the buttons to skip the current song and reach the next one. But as I said, not deal-breakers and I actually bought two more headsets so I can enjoy them (hopefully) for next years.

This is the best bluetooth divice I've used. I can hear clearly and friends tell me that they can hear clearly. The good news is that I've used devices that cost 3 -4 times as much and could not communicate as well. The bad news is that when I was talking to a friend in the supermarket, he could hear the music playing in the background. He wondered where I was because the music was so loud. But if I'm in the car with the radio off. This is the best device!

I use this headset everyday at the gym and with all the sweating and running around playing ball this thing has stayed though throughout months and months of use. This was my second pair for my wife which I ended up using anyways :) phone quality is also great and works like a charm, only thing is the buttons aren't easy to spot which I don't care much for and the chrome volume controller are just useless, you better off leave at maximum and control via your device. It pairs fairly easy.

They will break quickly if you sweat. They worked great for the first two months when I didn't exercise with them. They I started exercising with them and they immediately broke. I got a new pair and exercised maybe 4 times with them and they broke again.

These earphones are awesome. You can talk on your phone in the car with the window open!!! You can hear perfectly AND you can hear everything going on around you. Because they fit OVER you ears instead of IN your ear they don't hurt or irritate at all and you can wear them all day long. I have several earphones and the in-your-ear style bluetooth devices and this one wins hands down. You can go about 30 feet from you phone before it cuts out.

My cell phone has turned in to my mp3 player and I've been using ear buds forever. However, the wires keep breaking after a while. Decided to give these a try instead. They paired up to my RAZR Maxx without any fuss. The sound quality is good, but I'm not a snobby audiophile. A really cool feature of these headphones is the mic, if I get a call I can just push up on the right ear piece and talk on the phone.

On pairing:I picked these up to use with my iPhone and they paired up very easily. Once paired the headphones easily find the iPhone whenever I turn them on.On quality:I'm certainly no audiophile but I am completely satisfied with the audio quality of these headphones. It's music to my ears.On durability:They've traveled around in my backpack and survived just fine. The neckband is plastic and can warp a bit but it easily flexes back where it belongs.

These headphone worked for exactly three weeks. Now they no longer charge, or turn on. The return policy was for almost the exact time that they stopped working. So now I can only get a partial return, and have to pay for the return shipping. Save your money. I now know why they were the "deal of the day" and 66% off. They are 100% useless.

I purchased this a month ago and used it while running.It has ordinary sound quality, for running that's enough. It works well with iPhone 4S and even siri. Easy to connect and control with the buttons on it.There are some little problems:1. I don't know how many people have encountered this, but the charging light never turns to green no matter how long I charge it even though it's supposed to according to the user guide, which is annoying, but doesn't affect using.2. When I am wearing it, I always feel it is not symmetric, and the plastic loop is a bit tilted, creating different pressure on my two ears, feel weird. I adjusted and then soon feel uncomfortable again. I guess this is not a problem for all and maybe I just need to get used to it.Overall, it is good for running for whom dosen't wanna drag the lines.

You are not going to get awesome amazing headphones for $30...but what you will get is a very good bluetooth set that works. It turns itself off...it turns itself on...battery life is good...sound quality is very good...controls take some time to figure out but are nice to have. comfort is good...overall quality is very good. I would buy these again and may buy a couple more pair for friends for presents...they work flawlessly with my iPhone 4s...only wish was that the little light that tells you it is on or off, wish it was a tad bit bigger, easier to see...but again, I submit, for 30 bucks these things are freakin amazing...I actually forgot that I had them on and left my iPhone on the coffee table and went to the bathroom before I realized that I had left the iPhone more than 30 feet away!! It is so nice to be free of wires. I LOVE them. Buy em, you will not regret it.
